The aim of this study is to determine a way to make mathematics textbooks after Korea is reunited. For this, the analysis of curriculum in SouthㆍNorth Korea must be made before unification. Therefore this study compares and analyzes the contents, organization and mathematics terms used in the latest middle school textbooks(1995-1996). And it also compared and contrasted the two textbooks while determining the best points of each. In this way, this study will be a very useful guide for making new educational curriculum and new mathematics textbooks after South and North Korea be unified.

Disturbances in memory are the most common problem in patients with an organic mental syndrome. Other patients with significant psychiatric disorders also often have difficulty with memory. So it is very important in the clinical practice of psychiatry to understand the biological and neurocognitive mechanisms of memory proessing, and to develop the assessment tools with which memory function can be evaluated reliably and validly. Moreover, memory researches provide an important viewpoint from which we can understand the pathophysiological mechanisms of major neuropsychiatric illnesses. This article focuses on our understanding of memory functions in clinical and neurobiological aspects. The relevant material will be presented in four parts : 1) terminologies needed in defining major stages of various types of memory processing : 2) neurochemical and neuroanatomical basis of memory processing : 3) brief bed-side screening tests and more comprehensive neuropsychological tests for the evaluation of memory function : 4) the characteristics of memory dysfunction in several major psychiatric illnesses.

Anthropometric data is a fundamental resource in developing ergonomic products and workplaces. However, designers often experience difficulty in searching anthropometric data relevant to the design due to the technicality of anthropometric terminologies, ambiguity in the description of measurement method for some anthropometric variables, and inefficiency of existing search methods for anthropometric data. The present study suggests a method to develop a classification system of anthropometric variables for systematic, efficient search of anthropometric data. The proposed method first classifies anthropometric variables according to body segment and type of variable, and then arranges anthropometric variables of the same body segment and variable type by comparing the heights of their reference points. The proposed classification method was applied to establish a classification system of 66 anthropometric variables that were selected for an automotive interior design. Then the established anthropometric classification system was utilized to design a search interface of a web-based anthropometric data retrieval system.

Bone marrow aspirate concentrate and matrix-induced chondrogenesis (BMIC) is an interesting treatment option for osteochondral lesions of the talus with promising short- to mid-term results. The various terminologies used to describe this surgical method need to be addressed. These include bone marrow-derived cell transplantation, matrix-induced bone marrow aspirate concentrate, and matrix-associated stem cell transplantation. BMIC is a one-stage, minimally invasive surgery performed arthroscopically or using a mini-open arthrotomy approach without a malleolar osteotomy in most cases. The lesion is replaced with hyaline-like cartilage, and treatmentrelated complications are rare. BMIC is a safe and effective treatment option and should be considered in large lesions or lesions with a prior treatment history.

This study intends to review the sustainable agriculture and rural development concepts and practices and to present their directions toward better rural planning. Review of related literature including use of available documents and field visits both in Korea and overseas countries are two main methods of data collection with no quantitative analysis. Before sustainable (rural) development was fashionably used in the 1990s in the world, sustainable agriculture and other similar terminologies such as organic farming, alternative agriculture, low-input sustainable agriculture, natural farming, and environment-friendly farming are considered important in the academics as well as In action. The significant relationship between farmers' engagement in sustainable farming and their participation in voluntary social organizations is evidenced, so that it might be said that sustainable agriculture be the basis of sustainable rural development. Whether in sustainable agriculture or in sustainable rural development, the sustainable rural economy is considered more important toward better rural planning both in Korea and in the world.

본 논문은 대량의 생물의료분야 문서에서 단백질 이름을 자동으로 인식하고 각 단백질의 특성을 문서에서 자동으로 파악하여 기존의 온톨로지와 연계시키는 방법을 제안한다. 온톨로지 용어가 문서에서 다양한 형태로 발견되기 때문에, 이들을 논리적 표현으로 자동 변환하고, 문서에서 단백질의 특성을 설명하는 문장들을 추출 및 분석하여 온톨로지 용어의 논리적 표현과 비교하였다. 문서에서 단백질 특성을 인식할 때, 약어 처리 및 조응 현상 해결 등의 자연언어처리 기법을 이용하는 방법을 제안하였다.

이 논문에서 우리는 힐베르트의 저서 '기하학의 기초'에 관한 여러 문헌들을 소개하고 '기하학의 기초'의 내용을 간략하게 살펴본다. 그리고 1902년에 발행된 (독일어) 초판 영문번역과 1971년에 발행된 (독일어) 10판 영문번역의 내용과 용어 및 표현에 어떤 변화가 있는지 살펴보고 이런 변화가 외국어 수학고전을 우리말로 옮기거나 우리말 수학도서를 저술하는 일에 대하여 시사하는 바를 논한다.

Over the past two decades following the 1990s, South Korea's IT industry has developed rapidly. In keeping with this trend, the architectural and urban planning sectors have also converged with IT and achieved advancement in new directions. This evolution includes a variety of conceptual terminologies such as 'home automation', ''home network', 'smart home, and 'ubiquitous-city'. However, smart homes and U-cities simply represent a conceptual extension of home networks, and there is little real difference in the technologies involved. In particular, U-cities remain focused on infrastructure rather than on the development of specific content; consequently, they have failed to demonstrate distinctive features to clearly differentiate themselves from conventional cities. In such a context, this research aims at the proposal of a 'ubiquitous pavilion' as a component of the efforts to develop a range of architectural contents that utilize ubiquitous technologies. By grafting the pavilion, one of the most basic forms in architecture, with cutting-edge ubiquitous technologies, this paper intends to suggest a multi-purpose architectural space readily and simply available not only in newly emerging U-cities, but to conventional cities as well.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to analyze the naming of 'A diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun six meridian patterns and provisions' and to suggest an alternative naming. Methods : 1. The meaning of 'Six meridian(六經)' was reviewed on existing theories and Shanghanlun provisions. 2. Comparing the name of diangostic system with the term in 'Korean Standard Classification of Diseases-6(KCD-6)' and term in 'WHO international standard terminologies on traditional medicine in the western pacific region' was done. Results : 'Six meridian' is customary used in the Shagnhanlun study but its meaning is not match with original Shanghanlun system and could possibly make misunderstanding. So 'Disease pattern identification' is suitable than 'Six meridian' for this diagnostic system. Conclusions : This study suggests that using 'A disease pattern identification diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions.'is more appropriate instead of using the name of the six meridian diagnostic system.

Content services for silver users on the ubiquitous technologies are getting attention as a new business model, monitoring users in real-time on the real-world and/or cyber-world. A lot of business and service model have been developed to apply silver or elder user. This study explained a state-of-the-art silver IT service to innovative services for users, ranging from home and finance to support for healthcare and living. Due to the variation of subtle terminologies, this study was conducted to restructure an adaptive terminology including some definitions. Current silver IT service model has been evaluated from the technical, functional, and business analyst, and its suitability has also been expressed in a proposed model and service. The purpose of this study was to propose a systematic approach of new IT service business model for silver users. A proposed model was described to explain the feasibility of the silver IT industry.
