원통형 다전극식 정전용량-전기전도도 센서를 이용한 연료전지 차량용 냉각수의 유전특성 평가 (Evaluation about Dielectric Property of Heat Transfer Fluids for Fuel Cell Vehicle using Cylindrical Multi-Terminal Capacitive-Conductive Sensor)

  • We have developed a cylindrical multi-terminal capacitive-conductive sensor that could be attached to the internal surface of cooling system pipe to evaluate capacitance and conductivity of heat transfer fluid. It was used as measuring system to diagnose insulating condition, by which was kept a insulating resistance of inner stack and at the same time was cooled electrochemical heat of reaction of FCEV(fuel cell electric vehicle) stack that used a compressed hydrogen gas reacting with oxygen in accordance with variation on thermal degradation of nonconductive heat transfer fluid. Also to assess diagnosis characteristics of heat transfer fluid, i.e. coolant, we have performed accelerated aging test using developed sensor attached to cooling system. Consequently, it was measured dielectric and electric resistance of coolant to estimate and analyse for dielectric properties by degradation condition.

  • 본 논문에서는 자동화 컨테이너 터미널에서 컨테이너를 운반하는데 사용되는 무인 운반 차량(AGV)의 교통흐름을 동적으로 최적화하는 방안을 제안한다. 터미널 환경은 다수의 차량이 한정된 영역 내에서 주행하므로 높은 생산성을 위해서는 차량 사이의 간섭 및 병목현상을 최소화하도록 교통흐름을 제어해야 한다. 제안 알고리즘은 터미널 환경의 동적 변화에 대응하여 유전알고리즘을 이용하여 AGV의 교통흐름을 최적화한다. 알고리즘의 속도향상을 위해 이전에 수행한 최적화 결과를 활용하는 방안이 시도되었다. 시뮬레이션 실험을 통해 제안 알고리즘의 성능을 확인하였다.

말기 암 환자 가족이 경험하는 어려움에 관한 내용분석 (Content Analysis of Difficulties in Families with Terminal Cancer Patients)

  • Purpose: The objective of this study was to understand the caring experience of families with terminal cancer patients. Method: This was designed to be an inductive and descriptive study. Forty-seven families with terminal cancer patients were interviewed in depth and collected data were examined through content analysis. Result: The main categories of difficulties found in this study were 'suffering of patient', 'emotional suffering of family', 'bereavement of patient', 'difficulties in coping', 'problems in treatment', 'incurable situation', 'family problems', 'relationship with other people', 'economic problems', 'spiritual problems', 'problems in the future', 'informing patients of their condition', 'preparing death', 'emotional unstability', 'meaninglessness', 'unkindness of medical teams', 'poor environment for treatment', 'difficulties in hospital environment' and 'economic burden'. Conclusion: The main point found from this result was that families taking care of terminal cancer patients are suffering emotionally from watching the patients' pains and had difficulties in coping with the patients' situation and treatment. In addition, they had negative experiences in medical teams' attitude and hospital environment. This result can be used as an important guide for nurses to assess families' needs in the terminal care setting.

Calculation of Anchor's Terminal Velocity in the Water and Onshore Dropped Heights Using MDM Technique

  • When an anchor is dropped into the sea, there exists a danger of collision on the pipeline and subsea cables in the seabed. This collision could cause huge environmental disasters and serious economic losses. In order to secure the safety of subsea structures such as pipelines and subsea cables from the external impact, it is necessary to estimate the exact external force through the anchor's terminal velocity on the water. FLUENT, a computational fluid dynamic program, was used to acquire the terminal velocity and drag coefficient computation. A half-symmetry condition was used in order to reduce the computational time and a moving deforming mesh technique also adapted to present hydrostatic pressure. The results were examined with the equation based on Newton's Second Law to check the error rate. In this study, three example cases were calculated by stockless anchors of 5.25 ton, 10.5 ton, and 15.4 ton, and for the onshore experiment dropped height was back calculated with the anchor's terminal velocity in the water.

  • This study is to find subjects for the Automated Container Terminal(ACT) development and container terminal system. Also we analyze the present condition of the container terminal system in Pusan port and its automation level by systems approach. And this paper aims at evaluating on the priority of R&D investment until the beginning of the second stage of New Pusan Port Project(2006). In this process we have considered 8 evaluation indexes(cost, labor, area, time, volume, reliability. safety, convenience) to analyze 6 subsystems. The priority of R&D until target year by sub-systems is as follow: 1. Cargo Handing System, 2. Transfer System, 3. Port Entry System, 4. Storage System (Distribution & Manufacturing System included), 5.Inland Transport System, 6.Port Management & Information System.

Notification of Terminal Status and Advance Care Planning in Patients with Cancer

  • As population aging increases the burden of cancer, the quality of death of patients with cancer is emerging as an important issue alongside their quality of life. To improve the quality of death, it is necessary to prepare for death, allowing patients to die comfortably and with dignity at the end. Considering these issues, I aim to discuss the practical aspects of notifying the patient of the terminal phase of cancer and planning for end-of-life care (i.e., advance care planning). When cancer treatment that can extend the patent's lifespan becomes difficult, the patient enters a treatment transition period. Treatment is shifted from life-prolonging care to life-enhancing care, and end-of-life care must be well planned. Medical providers often worry too much about whether the patient will be disappointed or psychologically traumatized when notified of the terminal phase of their cancer, thus delaying plans for end-of-life care. In fact, patients can accept their condition and prepare for end-of-life care better than we expect. During the treatment transition period, notification of terminal status should be given, and a well-prepared advance care plan should be established early when the patient has decision-making ability. In addition to conveying information, it is always necessary to be sensitive to whether the patient and caregiver understand the information and respond to their emotions.

  • 선형 수차 방법을 최종 상태가 정해져 있지 알은 경계치 문제에 화장할 수 있겠금 시도해 본 것이다. 상응 Costate vector가 존재한다는 필요 조건으로 풀 수 있음을 밝혀 보았다. 응용으로써 몇개의 구체적인 물러 Model가 예로 들어졌다. 그리고 이 수차 방법의 효과가 검토되었다.

  • This paper proposes fast speaker adaptation method using artificially distorted speech in telematics terminal under the car noise environment based on eigenspace-based maximum likelihood linear regression (ES-MLLR). The artificially distorted speech is built from adding the various car noise signals collected from a driving car to the speech signal collected from an idling car. Then, in every environment, the transformation matrix is estimated by ES-MLLR using the artificially distorted speech corresponding to the specific noise environment. In test mode, an online model is built by weighted sum of the environment transformation matrices depending on the driving condition. In 3k-word recognition task in the telematics terminal, we achieve a performance superior to ES-MLLR even using the adaptation data collected from the driving condition.

  • The crimping connection is a permanent connection that maintains mechanical and electrical property for a long time by crimping two conductors. In this paper, we have done a basic study to decide normal or abnormal condition depending on crimping. Using PZT piezo-sensor, we have analyzed crimping waveforms according to the crimping height. And hence the normal or abnormal condition of crimping connections in real time could be decided by comparison of crimping waveforms in the cases of normal crimping, over crimping, under crimping and core omitting.

  • This paper is analyzed that the development of intelligent terminal unit for the switchgear partial discharge diagnosis. It is the core technology for supplying with stable and trust electric as a technology that be economic of the high efficient, the maintain, the confidence and the repair. So the condition diagnosis of the switchgear is necessary by developing inteligent terminal unit.
