  • The changes of surface activities in the aquaous solutions of mixed surfactants composed of linear sodium dodecylbenznesulfoate (LAS), polyoxyethylene nonyl phenylether (PE, EO=10) and polyethylene glycol monolauryl ether (LE, EO=25) have been studied. Addition of nonionic surfactants to LAS reduces the surface tension, especially at the lower concentration than cmc. The interfacial tension of olive oil/LAS was lower than the other surfactant solutions. The removal of triolein from cotton fabrics by nonionic surfactants and mixtures is higher than by LAS. The addition of NaCI to surfactant solutions even though reduces surface tension smaller but enthances oil removal more than that of $CaCl_2$.

  • In the paper, one focuses on the problem of duality in non-linear programming, applied to the solution of no-tension problems by means of Limit Analysis (LA) theorems for Not Resisting Tension (NRT) models. In details, one demonstrates that, starting from the application of the duality theory to the non-linear program defined by the static theorem approach for a discrete NRT model, this procedure results in the definition of a dual problem that has a significant physical meaning: the formulation of the kinematic theorem.

  • The deformation behavior of the frame for tension mask CRT is investigated by experiments and finite element method. We calculate and measure the stress-strain relation at the stress concentrations. The endurance test at 100$^{\circ}C$ was performed for checking tension decrease with time.

  • SPM dynamic model was developed by using Bland & Ford formulas considered elastic zone in roll gap, gauge meter equation, tension equation, speed equation and actuator models. And SPM controllers of the field were done model ing. It was shown the efficiency of constant tension, rol1ing force and elongation controllers by the simulation program and it was recommended the proper gain to the controllers of the field.

  • Dynamic analysis of laminated beams with a embedded damping layer under tension or compression axial load is investigated. Layer-Wise Zig-Zag Beam Theory and Interdependent Kinematic Relation using the governing equations of motion are incorporated to model the laminated beams with a damping layer and a corresponding beam zig-zag finite element is developed. Flexural frequencies and modal loss factors under tension or compression axial load are calculated based on Complex Eigenvalue Method. The effects of the axial tension and compression load on the frequencies and loss factors are discussed.

  • The surface tension of the solution of dodecylpridinium bromide was measured by the ring method over the range $25^{\circ}\; to\; 45^{\circ}C.$ The critical micelle concentration was determined from the change of the surface tension of solution with concentration. The temperature dependence of the critical micelle concentration was also investigated. The result was compared with Adderson and Taylor's data determined by the conductivity method.

  • We consider a web transport system. The objective of this paper is to design the controller such that desired tension and processing on web transport system. We propose the new design method hick is independent with operating condition. The proposed method used a nonlinear feedback to transform to linear system. We show a performance of controller via the simulation.

  • The effect of oxygen partial pressure on the surface tension data of liquid alloys was investigated by means of comparing the calculated data and the measured one. Two binary alloy systems were chosen to observe the dependence of oxygen adsorption behavior on different oxygen partial pressures. It was found that the difference between the computed values and the experimental of the surface tension was within the range of maximum 10%.
