As technologies related to sensor network are currently emerging and the use of GeoSensor is increasing along with the development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, spatial query processing systems to efficiently process spatial sensor data are being actively studied. However, existing spatial query processing systems do not support a spatial-temporal data type and a spatial-temporal operator for processing spatialtemporal sensor data. Therefore, they are inadequate for processing spatial-temporal sensor data like GeoSensor. Accordingly, this paper developed a spatial-temporal query processing system, for efficient spatial-temporal query processing of spatial-temporal sensor data in a sensor network. Lastly, this paper verified the utility of System through a scenario, and proved that this system's performance is better than existing systems through performance assessment of performance time and memory usage.

Temporal databases support an efficient historical management by means of valid time and transaction time. Valid time stands for the time when a data happens in the real world. And transaction time stands for the time when a data is stored in the database, Temporal Query Processing System(TQPS) should be extended so as tc process the temporal operations for the historical informations in the user query as well as the conventional relational operations. In this paper, the extended temporal query processing systems which is based on the previous temporal query processing system for TQuel(Temporal Query Language) consists of the temporal syntax analyzer, temporal semantic analyzer, temporal code generator, and temporal interpreter is to be described, The algorithm for additional functions such as transaction time management, temporal aggregates, temporal views, temporal joins and the heuristic optimization functions and their example how to be processed is shown.

With the recent development of the ubiquitous computing technology, there are increasing interest and research in technologies such as sensors and RFID related to information recognition and location positioning in various ubiquitous fields. Especially, RTLS (Real-Time Locating Services) dealing with spatio-temporal data is emerging as a promising technology. For these reasons, the ISO/IEC published RTLS standard specification for compatibility and interoperability in RTLS. Therefore, in this paper, we designed and implemented Spatio-temporal Query Processing Systems for efficiently managing and searching the incoming Spatio-temporal data stream of moving objects. Spatio-temporal Query Processing Systems's spatio-temporal middleware maintains interoperability among heterogeneous devices and guarantees data integrity in query processing through real time processing of unceasing spatio-temporal data streams and two way synchronization of spatio-temporal DBMSs. Web Server uses the SOAP(Simple Object Access Protocol) message between client and server for interoperability and translates client's SOAP message into CQL(Continuous Query Language) of the spatio-temporal middleware.

Recently, along with the development of IoT technology, technologies for wirelessly sensing various data, such as sensor nodes, RFID, CCTV, smart phones, etc., have rapidly developed, and in the field of multiple applications, to utilize sensor network related technology Have been actively pursued in various fields. Therefore, as GeoSensor utilization increases, query processing systems for efficiently processing 2D data such as spatial sensor data are actively researched. However, existing spatial query processing systems do not support a spatial-temporal data type and a spatial-temporal operator for processing spatial-temporal sensor data. Therefore, they are inadequate for processing spatial-temporal sensor data like GeoSensor. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are likely to be more prevalent as their cost-effectiveness improves. The spectrum of applications for WSNs spans multiple domains. In environmental sciences, in particular, they are on the way to become an essential technology for monitoring the natural environment and the dynamic behavior of transient physical phenomena over space. Existing sensor network query processors (SNQPs) have also demonstrated that in-network processing is an effective and efficient means of interaction with WSNs for performing queries over live data. Inspired by these findings, this paper investigates the question as to whether spatio-temporal and historical analysis can be carried over WSNs using distributed query-processing techniques. The emphasis of this work is on the spatial, temporal and historical aspects of sensed data, which are not adequately addressed in existing SNQPs. This paper surveys the novel approaches of storing the data and execution of spatio-temporal and historical queries. We introduce the challenges and opportunities of research in the field of in-network storage and in-network spatio-temporal query processing as well as illustrate the current status of research in this field. We also present new areas where the spatio-temporal and historical query processing can be of significant importance.
Spatio-temporal patterns extracted from historical trajectories of moving objects reveal important knowledge about movement behavior for high quality LBS services. Existing approaches transform trajectories into sequences of location symbols and derive frequent subsequences by applying conventional sequential pattern mining algorithms. However, spatio-temporal correlations may be lost due to the inappropriate approximations of spatial and temporal properties. In this paper, we address the problem of mining spatio-temporal patterns from trajectory data. The inefficient description of temporal information decreases the mining efficiency and the interpretability of the patterns. We provide a formal statement of efficient representation of spatio-temporal movements and propose a new approach to discover spatio-temporal patterns in trajectory data. The proposed method first finds meaningful spatio-temporal regions and extracts frequent spatio-temporal patterns based on a prefix-projection approach from the sequences of these regions. We experimentally analyze that the proposed method improves mining performance and derives more intuitive patterns.

Conventional expert systems have difficulties in the inference on time-varing situations because they don't have the structure for processing time related informations and rule representation method to describe time explicitely. Some expert systems capable of temporal reasoning are not applicable to the domain in which state changes happen by unpredictble events that cannot be represented by periodic changes of data. In this paper, an event based temporal reasoning method is proposed. It is capable of processing te unpredictable events, representing the knowledge related to event and time, and infering by that knowledge as well as infering by periodically time-varing data. The NEO/temporal, an temporal inference engine, is implemented by applying the proposed temporal reasoning situation assessment and decision supporting system is implemented to show the benefits of the proposed temporal information processing model.

Most of the previous game development has proceeded in the approaches of the temporal-oriented synchronization because of producing game objects by using general authoring tools, and ad hoc or trial and error methods has been devised for representation of spatial concept. This paper is a study on the unification notation for spatio-temporal synchronization to conquest this fault. First of all, we classify game space as temporal object, spatial object, absolute/relative spatio-temporal space. The spatio-temporal relationships are divided into temporal extent, temporal location, spatial extent, and spatial location. In the paper the temporal and spatial relationships of game scene are defined to represent the synchronization, and we propose new unification notation by temporal and spatial concept to represent two concepts putting emphasis on space. Their relationships are presented on 3D by creating time axis related with time in scene unit of the two dimensional plane in the pivot on space. The usability of this representation method are shown by applying examples of game scenario.
