전기기기의 발열을 고려한 다단계 가속열노화 방법 (Multi-phase Accelerating Test Method of Thermal Aging Considering Heat Generation of Electric Equipment)

  • Thermal aging test is performed to qualify the life time of equipment in thermally aged condition. Due to long life time more than 10 years like as in power plant, the equipment is subjected to the accelerated thermal aging condition which is able to shorten the long aging test period by increasing aging temperature. Normally, conservatism of thermal aging test causes to impose unbalanced and excessive thermal load on components of the equipment, and deformation and damage problems of the components. Additionally, temperature rise of each component through heat generation of the electric equipment leads to long-term problem of the test period. Multi-phase accelerating aging test is to perform thermal aging test in multiple aging conditions after dividing into groups with various components of equipment. The groups might be classified considering various factors such as activation energy, temperature rise, glass transition temperature and melting temperature. In this study, we verify that the multi-phase accelerating aging test method can reduce and equalize the thermal over load of the components and shorten aging test time.

Study on Influences and Elimination of Test Temperature on PDC Characteristic Spectroscopy of Oil-Paper Insulation System

  • Test temperature is an important factor affecting the measurement results of dielectric response of field power transformers. In order to better apply the polarization and depolarization current (PDC) to the condition monitoring of oil-paper insulation system in power transformers, the influences and elimination method of test temperature on PDC characteristic spectroscopy (PDC-CS) were investigated. Firstly, the experimental winding sample was measured by PDC method at different test temperatures, then the PDC-CS was obtained from the measurement results and its changing rules were discussed, which show that the PDC-CS appears a horizontal mobility with the rise of temperature. Based on the rules, the “time temperature shift technique” was introduced to eliminate the influence of test temperature. It is shown that the PDC-CS at different test temperatures can be converted to the same reference temperature coincident with each other.

  • 본 논문에서는 고정익 항공기 환경제어장치(Environmental Control System) 운용 시 발생될 수 있는 냉각공기의 급격한 온도변화가 항공전자장비에 미치는 영향성을 알아보기 위한 시험장비 구성 및 설계안을 제시한다. ECS 시동 시, 항공기 ECS에서 공급되는 공기의 온도는 초당 5.0℃로 높아질 수 있다. 항공전자장비 개발 시 ECS에서 냉각공기를 제공받는 항공전자장비의 운용성 확보를 위하여, 냉각공기 특성 시험환경을 구현할 수 있는 시험장비가 필요하다. 시험장비 설계 시 열/유동해석을 수행하여 냉각공기의 급격한 온도변화율의 가능성을 확인하였고, 실제 탑재되는 항공전자장비를 적용하여 구현된 시험장비의 성능을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문은 램프의 수명저하 없이 $1,000^{\circ}C$이상의 초고온 급속가열 환경을 지속적으로 모사할 수 있고 기존 사용해온 열하중 부가장치 대비 내구성과 신뢰성이 향상된 열하중 부가장치를 개발하여 초고속 비행체 날개의 구조 건전성 평가에 적용, 그 활용가능성을 수록한 내용이다. 본 시험을 통하여 초고온의 운용환경에 노출되는 비행체 날개의 공력가열에 의한 강성저하를 정량적으로 예측할 수 있었으며, 향후 비약적인 증가추세에 있는 공력가열온도를 경험하게 되는 극초음속 비행체에 대한 고온환경에서의 구조 강도특성 평가가 가능해짐으로써 시험 신뢰성 향상과 함께 고온구조강도시험 수행능력을 한 단계 도약시킬 수 있는 계기가 되었다.

Lifetime Prediction of Geogrids for Reinforcement of Embankments and Slopes through Time-Temperature Superposition

  • The creep resistance of geogrids is one of the most significant long-term safety characteristics used as the reinforcement in slopes and embankments. The failure of geogrids is defined as creep strain greater than 10%. In this study, the accelerated creep tests were applied to polyester geogrids at various loading levels of 30, 50% of the yield strengths and temperatures using newly designed test equipment. Also, the new test equipment permitted the creep testing at or above glass transition temperature($T_g$) of 75, 80, $85^{\circ}C$. The time-dependent creep behaviors were observed at various temperatures and loading levels. And then the creep curves were shifted and superposed in the time axis by applying time-temperature supposition principles. The shifting factors(AFs) were obtained using WLF equation. In predicting the lifetimes of geogrids, the underlying distribution for failure times were determined based on identification of the failure mechanism. The results confirmed that the failure distribution of geogrids followed Weibull distribution with increasing failure rate and the lifetimes of geogrids were close to 100 years which was required service life in the field with 1.75 of reduction factor of safety. Using the newly designed equipment, the creep test of geogrids was found to be highly accelerated. Furthermore, the time-temperature superposition with the newly designed test equipment was shown to be effective in predicting the lifetimes of geogrids with shorter test times and can be applied to the other geosynthetics.

반도체장비용 오링의 종합 신뢰성 평가기술에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Reliability Evaluation System for O-ring of Semiconductor Equipments)

  • The test items like as endurance, air leakage and oil endurance test is requested for reliability evaluation about O-ring which is a kind of core machinery accessories of semi-conduct manufacturing equipment. For verification of these, we design and manufactured a test system for endurance, air leakage and oil endurance of O-ring for semi-conduct manufacturing equipment, and also performed the test for two kinds of O-ring, as it were Viton and Kalretz. The characteristics of this test equipment consist in realization of the test conditions of semi-conduct manufacturing equipment and satisfying the test method. The test conditions are cut gas, vacuum grade, temperature and revolution numbers in the endurance test system, vacuum grade and temperature in the air leakage test system, temperature and time in the oil endurance test system. The separating test results for wearing which is an oil endurance test item, the wearing index of domestic produced Viton O-ring is higher than foreign product by 2%, wearing rate of Kalretz O-ring better than Viton O-ring by 17%, and particles existed in various place. The test result of air leakage which is measured through the RGA sensor used Helium, the vacuum grade was $10^-3$Torr. And the test result of oil endurance, the volume change rate was 7~15%. Hereafter, we intend to analysis the reliability test evaluation and to utilize for domestic manufacturing companies by establishing data base and developing reliability softwares.

아두이노를 이용한 온도시험 장비 오동작 감시 시스템 설계 및 구현 (A Design and Implementation of the Temperature Testing Equipment Malfunction Monitoring System Using Arduino)

  • 본 논문에서는 아두이노를 이용하여 온도시험 장비의 오동작이 발생이 되면, 이를 검출하여 주변에 이 정보를 알려 고가의 정밀 전자제품의 훼손을 방지할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 정밀 전자제품은 출고전에 온도시험 장비를 이용하여 극저온, 극고온 온도 상황하에서 정상동작 여부를 확인하게 된다. 만약 이 상황하에서 장비의 오동작이 발생되면 고가의 제품이 손상을 입어 폐기하는 경우가 생긴다. 이 시스템은 특히 야간에 담당자가 없이 자동으로 시험이 진행될 때에 온도시험 장비 내에 온도 센서를 부착하여 시험 대상인 제품이 실제로 받고 있는 온도 정보를 아두이노를 이용하여 실시간으로 감시한다. 만약 시험자가 설정한 온도구간을 벗어날 경우 아두이노의 출력단에서 High 신호를 출력하여 경보 구동회로가 온도시험 장비의 전원을 차단하고 야간 근무부서의 근무자에게 이 정보를 알려, 온도 시험 중 발생할 수 있는 극고온 혹은 극저온 상황에서 고가의 시험대상 제품의 훼손을 방지할 수 있도록 설계 및 구현을 하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 장비의 제조사에 관계없이 모든 온도시험 장비에 적용가능하고, 저비용으로 제작 가능하다.

낙뢰 간접영향에 대한 항공전자장비의 환경시험 (Environmental Test of Avionics Equipment for Lightning Indirect Effect)

  • Before avionics equipment are installed in aircraft, several environmental tests such as temperature, vibration, lightning, fire etc. must be conducted. One of the environmental tests is to substantiate protection designs of lightning indirect effect. It can be showed through RTCA DO-160G, section22 "Lightning Induced Transient Susceptibility" test. An additional test of aircraft level is required as well after installation of avionics equipment.

  • This paper presents the results of experimental studies on the equipment isolation effect considering the floor response. For this purpose, shaking table tests were performed. For the measuring the floor response, numerical analysis was performed. For the isolation for the equipment, Natural Rubber Bearing(NRB), High Damping Rubber Bearing(HDRB) and Friction Pendulum System(FPS) were used. Finally, it is presented that the isolation systems used in this test can be adopted for the small equipment isolation. But the rubber bearing used in this study affected to the temperature change very sensitively.

고속철도 귀선전류 및 차축 온도 검측을 위한 검측장치 구현 (Implementation of the Measurement Equipment to Measure Return Current and Axle Temperature of High Speed Railway)

  • The maintenance method for the electrical facility of high speed railway has been evolved from inspection by personnel to the automated way by the detection devices. In particular, the signalling equipment in order to increase the safe and efficient operation of the trains is required to maintain normal operation by periodic maintenance. Because the return current gives the most important effects to the wayside equipment in case of the failures, a method is needed to measure the unbalanced rate of return current on the train at high speed driving. The Hot Box Detector(HBD) device that is installed at track-side has a function to recognize the abnormal axle box by detecting the temperature that occurs in the axle of train passing over its device. In order to implement the measurement equipment for unbalanced rate of return current and axle temperature, the design method is proposed and the experimental test results by test bed are included in the paper.
