A Study on the Correlation between Curing Temperature and Thermal Deformation of a Moving Web in Roll-to-Roll Printed Electronics (롤투롤 인쇄 전자 시스템에서 건조 온도와 유연기판의 열변형간 상관관계에 대한 연구)

  • Roll-to-Roll printing process has become a great issue as a breakthrough for low cost and mass production of electronic devices such as organic thin film transistor, and etc. To print the electronic devices, multi-layer printing is essential, and high precision register control is required for this process. Unlike stop-and-repeat printing process, it is impossible to control the register in a static state since the roll-to-roll process is a continuous system. Therefore, the behavior of web such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyimide (PI) by the tensile and thermal stress generated in the roll-to-roll process as well as motor control of driven rolls has to be considered for a high precision register control. In this study, the correlation between curing temperature and thermal deformation of PET web is analyzed. Finally, it is verified experimentally that the temperature disturbance generates the more serious register error under the higher curing temperature.

  • The product of stereolithography is consist of gathering the single strand. Therefore the accuracy of the shape is related to the linear shrinkage of the single strand. The resin temperature change affect on curing properties. This article will propose the interaction between material temperature and shape accuracy by resin temperature control. The main concern of this article is related to the improvement of end product's shape accuracy by the persuit for the filles curing criterion.

  • This study is to investigate the temperature hysteresis and development of compressive strength due to the curing conditions and to evaluate the optimum curing condition of test specimens showing the same development of strength to that of real structures in cold weather. The results of temperature curve with curing conditions in mock-up tests showed the trend of decrease plain concrete with insulation form, plain concrete with heating, concrete with accelerator for freeze protection, and control concrete in turn. The strength development of plain concrete of inside and outside of shelter showed the very slow strength gains due to early freezing, but that of concrete with accelerator for freeze protection showed the gradual increase of strength with time. From this, it is clear that accelerator for freeze protection has the effects of refusing the freezing temperature and accelerating the hardening under low temperature. Strength test results of small specimens embedded in members and located in insulation boxes at the site are similar to that of cores drilled from the members at the same ages, thus it is clear that these curing methods are effective for evaluating in-place concrete strength

Characteristics of Concrete Strength Development Based on Cement Type and Curing Temperature in Cold-Weather Conditions (한중조건에서 시멘트 종류 및 양생온도별 콘크리트의 강도 발현 특성)

  • In this study, analyzed the difference in compressive strength of concrete under cold conditions, using the 28-day standard curing compressive strength as a reference and examining variations based on cement types and curing temperatures. The results showed that the strength difference based on curing temperatures reached up to 9MPa at 0℃. However, as the curing period progressed, the difference in strength due to curing temperature gradually diminished. These findings are anticipated to be valuable for concrete mixing and quality control in cold weather conditions.

  • This study is peformed for checking the limitation and application of each curing/heating methods on cold-weathering mat foundation construction, considering temperature control, early strength security and temperature declination range limit, by means of concrete material properties and thermal analysis technique that were published previously. In the result of this analysis, we checked the open air temperature and mat depth that are possible to apply each curing/heating methods on cold-weathering construction and found curing/heating time of each methods that is able to prevent early aged freezing damage and thermal crack

  • Heat of hydration of mass concrete is one of the most important factors that significantly affect structural quality and construction period. Therefore, appropriate methods to control heat of hydration are essential technologies for mass concrete construction. In this study, probability of thermal cracking was checked by thermal analysis prior to the construction of a turbine foundation in a domestic power plant. Subsequently, changes of concrete mix proportion and an effective curing method were proposed to control heat of hydration of mass concrete structures. Concrete manufactured by slag cement was proposed instead of concrete produced by ordinary Portland cement, and an automated curing method was proposed to improve the curing method using typical moist curing with blanket. The automated curing method maintains the temperature difference between center and surface of concrete below a setting value by temperature monitoring. Concrete with slag cement was used for actual construction. One of two identical turbine foundations was cured by an insulated curing method, and the other was cured by the automated curing method to compare the curing methods. And then, the effects of control of heat of hydration were evaluated based on temperature/strain monitoring and crack investigations.

  • New thermal crack control system for mass concrete was developed to increase quality and to save construction period and cost. The principle of this system is that the curing water having proper temperature is supplied automatically to the surface of mass concrete member to keep the temperature difference between center and surface of concrete less than generally recommended temperature difference ($20^{\circ}C$). Mock-up test was conducted to investigate the validity of newly developed curing system. As a result, no crack was founded in the specimen using automated curing system developed in this study, while many cracks occurred in another specimen without automated curing system. It was also confirmed that the strength and the durability of the concrete cured by automated curing system were improved.

Research of Early-age Strength Development Technology for Remove the Steel Form of Large-wide Tunnel Lining Concrete (대단면 터널 라이닝 거푸집의 조기 제거를 위한 초기 강도 발현 기법 연구)

  • The studies were carried out to process one cycle for a day to the large section tunnel lining concrete. Climatic characteristics of the tunnel inside are changed, when the temperature of the concrete placement is low, the mold remove time is increased that the heat of hydration speed be delayed because affects the strength development, to compensate for this, after installing the curing sheet on both sides of the steel form and installation of tunnel entrance, when it comes to providing the additional heat source of $28{\pm}2^{\circ}C$ therein, it was to be achieved early strength development control standards (4.5MPa) presented as a crack control scheme or more, thus, It was able to remove after age of 14hr from mold. On the other hand, under the conditions of $10{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ that a natural curing temperature in the tunnel, it was analyzed must ensure the curing time of 36hr or more after concrete placement. Throughout this study, the concrete strength development and the temperature in the early-age concrete, it can find that reverify the curing temperature is greatly affected, even concrete fly ash is mixed 10%, if it is possible to raise the surface temperature for a predetermined time, is not a problem in the early strength development.

  • In this paper, thin films of PI were fabricated VDPM of dry processes which are easy to control the film's thickness and hard to pollute due to volatile solvents. From FT-IR, PAA thin films fabricated by VDP were changed to PI thin films by thermal curing. From AFM and ellipsometer experimental, the higher curing temperature is, the films thickness decreases and reflectance increases. Therefore, PI could be fabricated stable by increasing curing temperature.

  • Frefab Construction known for durable construction skill prompting high productivity in developed country is not yet settled in Korea. This situation of prefab construction results from lack of skill, specialists and quality control. In introducing skill, all equipments are thoughtlessly imported without inside eudeavor for development. Regardless of production of goods, basic study for production of goods, construction and structure is not abailable. The object of this study is curing method in the production process of PC concrete product. From change of curing temperature and curing period which would be factors of product quality in PC concrete production, and research of optimized steam curing condition from relations between curing condition and strength development, basic data of concrete steam curing method will be presented.
