습도조절용 세라믹패널 및 도료의 흡·방습성능 평가 (Performance Evaluation of Water Vapour Adsorption & Desorption Properties of Ceramic Panel and Painting Materials for Humidity Control)

  • This study is conducted to evaluate the performance of ceramic panels and painting materials for humidity control which are developed in non-plastic room temperature hardening structure as part of a project to improve a residential environment for the low-income class, rather than the performance of high-priced humidity control materials that are produced with the existing plasticity processing. The testing methods included the measurements of absorption & desoprtion of humidity per material; Mock-up Testing; an evaluation method of comparing the absorption & desoprtion performances of Ecocarat, ceramic panels and painting materials through Living Lab. According to the measurements of absorption & desoprtion per material, ceramic panels, E panel, and ceramic painting material showed 73.3g/m2, 96.6g/m2, and 111.1g/m2, respectively. That is, the performance of humidity control of each material was found to be good in the order of: Ceramic Paint > E panel > Ceramic Panel. According to performance evaluation testing with Mock-up test and Living Lab, Ceramic Paint, Ecocarat, and Ceramic Panels showed better absorption & desoprtion performances in the order.

Dry Room내의 온.습도 분포 해석 (Analysis of Temperature and Humidity Distribution in a Dry Room)

  • The temperature and humidity distribution in a dry room are studied numerically by using standard$\kappa-\varepsilon$ turbulence model. In order to evaluate effective heat and moisture ventilation characteristics inside the room, the heat removal capacity and moisture exhaust efficiency are introduced. An effective ventilation control is analyzed by evaluating quantitatively temperature and humidity distributions. It was found that the mean absolute humidity inside the room was almost constant with approximately 0.1905g/kg air regardless of the models and the heat generation rates. This was believed that the moisture generation by workers was relatively small. 40% improvement of the critical decay time was achieved, through the modifications of design variables.

Girdle 착용이 인체생리반응과 의복기후에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Physiological Responses and the Microclimate in Girdle)

  • The purpose of this study was to confirm the effects of girdle on the physiological responses and the microclimate in summer. The measuring points were rectal temperature, skin temperature, pulse rate and sweat volume as physiological responses and the inside clothing temperature, relative humidity as microclimate when the subjects wore girdle (girdle A; polyurethan+nylon, girdle B; polyurethan+cotton) for the period of rest and exercise in climate chamber. The enviromental conditions were at $25^{\circ}C$ ($65{\pm}5\%$ RH) and $30^{\circ}C$ ($75{\pm}5\%$ RR). The results were as followings. 1. Mean skin temperature increased in girdle during the exercise at $30^{\circ}C$. 2. The pulse rate decreased in girdle during the rest at $25^{\circ}C$. In the case of girdle A, it was remarkably decreased. Rectal temperature increased in girdle A and B during the exercise at $25^{\circ}C$. But the kinds of girdle didn't affect the pulse rate and rectal temperature. 3. The total sweat volume in girdle was larger than in control. 4. The difference between skin temperature and inside clothing temperature of abdomen had a tendency to increase at all experiment condition. 5. The relative humidity of inside ($RH_1$) and outside ($RH_2$) of girdle increased in girdle during the rest at $25^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$. And the relative humidity of wearing girdle B was hig-her than girdle A during the rest at $25^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$. The $RH_1$ after stepping at $30^{\circ}C$ was the highest in girdle A and the lowest in control. From this point of view, we concluded that physiological responses and the microclimate were affected by wearing girdle. And mean skin temperature and relative humidity of inside clothing were affected by the materials of girdle.

PMV, TS 기준 건물 열 환경 제어법의 성능 및 적용성 분석 (Performance and Applicability of PMV-based and TS-based Building Thermal Controls)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the interactions between the thermal factors in existing thermal control methods and to find out the control logic that can create more comfortable thermal conditions. For it, four thermal control logics were developed:conventional temperature-based control; temperature-based and humidity-based control; PMV-based control; and TS-based control. Their performance was comparatively tested in the U.S. typical 5-story office building in two climate zones (Detroit, Michigan and Miami, Florida) for two seasons (winter and summer) incorporating IBPT (International Building Physics Toolbox) and Matlab/Simulink. Analysis on the thermal conditions and energy efficiency revealed that each control logic created comfortable conditions for their respective target, i.e., temperature, humidity, PMV or TS, but uncomfortable for others (e.g., temperature-based control logic maintained PMV or TS uncomfortably or vise versa). In addition, energy efficiency was significantly different by logics. In conclusion, it can be said that the overall thermal comfort can be improved by the adoption of the PMV and TS as a target variable and their economical benefits are expected in the hotter climate zones with the reduced cooling and dehumidifying energy consumptions.

계절에 따른 실험실 환경변화를 이용한 토크측정기의 온도 및 습도 감도계수 결정 (The Determination of Temperature and Humidity Sensitivity Coefficients of Torque Transducers using Seasonal Climatic Changes of Ambient Conditions in the Laboratory)

  • This paper presents a new method to determine sensitivity coefficients of temperature and humidity of torque transducers by using a natural and seasonal variation of ambient conditions at the laboratory. We had measured the sensitivities of the torque transducers over almost one year using the KRISS 2 kN m torque standard machine. The sensitivity data acquired at various ambient conditions were processed using our measurement model to extract the sensitivity coefficients of temperature and humidity simultaneously with high precision. A comparison with a previous method using an environmental control chamber was carried out to test the feasibility of using our new method. Two results agreed within the uncertainty. We revealed that the torque measuring errors could be 8 times higher than the measurement and calibration capability of KRISS torque standard machine if the sensitivity changes due to the temperature and humidity are not properly corrected during a calibration.

  • 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크(USN: Ubiquitos Sensor Network)는 우리 생활 전반적으로 다양하게 적용되고 있는 기술이다. 본 논문은 온도와 습도를 일정하게 유지해야 할 필요가 있는 공간을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 USN 기술 기반의 시스템에 대한 설계 및 이의 구현 사례를 소개한다. 본 시스템은 온 습도 센서가 내장된 다수의 센서 모듈을 이용하여 대상 공간에 무선 센서 네트워크를 구성하고, 각 모듈의 센서로부터 감지된 온 습도 정보를 실시간으로 수집하여 Database에 기록함과 동시에 사용자가 그래픽 인터페이스를 통해 대상 공간의 온 습도 현황을 Monitoring 할 수 있는 시스템이다. 또한, 각 온 습도 센서 모듈의 관리 대상 공간에 대하여 특정 온 습도 값을 지정하고 이 값과 일정 수준 이상의 오차가 발생하면 경고를 발생토록 한다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 시스템은 수동적이었던 기존의 데이터 수집 및 관리 방식을 자동화함으로서 보다 편리하고 효율적으로 대상 공간의 온 습도를 관리할 수 있으며, 저장된 데이터를 이용하여 온 습도로 인해 발생된 문제점에 대한 사후 분석 및 환경의 개선에 필요한 정보를 얻을 수 있다.

담배종류별 흡습 및 방습 특성 (Moisture Sorption and Desorption Characteristics of Tobacco Types.)

  • This study was carried out to investigate moisture sorption and desorption characteristics followed by tobacco type. Experiments were performed at various temperature(5, 15, 25, 40 $^{\circ}C$) and relative humidity range (11~84 %) controlled by saturated salt solution. Regression equation was obtained to predict equilibrium moisture according to various relative humidity, temperature and tobacco types. The obtained regression equation showed high $R^2$(above 0.95) and predicted accurate equilibrium moisture. Equilibrium moisture contents declines in the following order when a relative humidity is 50 % or above: expanded stem, flue-cured, expanded tobacco, reconstituted tobacco, USA flue-cured, orient, burley. To maintain 13 % moisture of each tobacco type in the range of 5~40 $^{\circ}C$ it is recommendable to control relative humidity 49~56 % for expanded stem, 50~57 % for flue-cured, 54~61 % for USA flue-cured, 56~60 % for reconstituted tobacco, 57~62 % for expanded tobacco, 58~64 % for orient and 58~65 % for burley, respectively. It means that the relative humidity of each tobacco type should be differently controlled to maintain the same moisture under the same temperature. In the range of 5~25 $^{\circ}C$, the lower temperature showed the higher equilibrium moisture content.

A Study on the Indoor Environmental Factors of Granite Dome Models with Different Envelop Materials during the Summer Season

  • During the summer season, it is very hot and humid in Korea. So the humidity is an important factor regarding the environmental control function of building envelops. The purpose of this research is to measure and analyze the characteristics of such environmental factors as relative humidity, dry bulb temperature and air velocity varies both in the clay and cement envelop structures using granite dome models during the summer time. The interior relative humidity of the clay model is constant regardless of exterior humidity although a little range of variation is shown in comparison to the cement model.

  • To disign and build a ultra-precision laboratory which has been required for high technology in many areas, the environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity,vibration and nosic are controlled precisely. To absorb the outside vibration, particular concrete blocks were designed and set under the laboratory. The inside room temperature were controlled in local area within .+-. 0.3 .deg. c. It was efficient to induce laminar flow in air conditioning system for the control of room temperature, humidity etc. The control conditions should be determined according to their specific purposes. Also, the control method will be different for their respective environmental conditions.

토마토 재배 온실의 환경조절에 따른 온습도 균일도 분석 (Analysis on the Uniformity of Temperature and Humidity According to Environment Control in Tomato Greenhouses)

  • 공기유동 제어기술의 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공 할 목적으로 토마토 재배 온실의 냉난방과 환기 및 공기유동 관련 실태를 조사하고, 온실유형과 난방방식별 온습도 분포를 실측하여 균일도를 분석하였다. 충남 부여 세도지역의 토마토 재배 온실 136농가를 대상으로 조사한 결과 대부분을 차지하는 단동 플라스틱 온실의 천창 설치 비율이 낮고 환기팬과 유동팬 설치비율도 매우 낮을 뿐만 아니라 설치제원도 편차가 매우 큰 것으로 나타났다. 아치형 단동 플라스틱온실의 천창 환기 구조의 개발보급과 연동곡부의 천창도 지붕상부로 이동시킬 필요가 있으며, 개별 천창구조 및 환기팬과 유동팬에 대한 설치 가이드라인의 제정이 요구된다. 냉방설비를 설치한 농가는 하나도 없었으며 난방방식의 대부분을 차지하는 온풍난방에서 덕트의 설치제원 역시 편차가 큰 것으로 나타났고, 온풍덕트의 배기풍속 및 배기온도 또한 거리에 따른 편차가 매우 큰 것으로 관측되었다. 수출경쟁력 화보를 위한 고품질의 생산물을 연중 안정적으로 생산하기 위해서는 온실냉방기술의 보급이 절실하며 난방방식이나 덕트설치 방식의 개선이 필요한 것으로 판단된다. 온실내 온습도 분포가 균일한지 여부를 판단하는 지표로 사용되고 있는 최대 편차와 실제 균등한 정도를 나타낼 수 있는 균일도와의 관계를 분석해 본 결과 높은 상관관계를 보였으나 주간에는 직선식으로 야간에는 2차 곡선식으로 다르게 표현되었다. 온습도 분포의 균일한 정도를 판정할 수 있는 객관적인 기준이 마련된다면 최대편차 대신 균일도를 지표로 사용하는 것이 더 합리적일 것으로 판단된다. 온실유형과 난방방식에 따라 온 습도분포의 균일도가 상당히 다른 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 야간에는 온수난방의 경우 이랑배관으로, 온풍난방의 경우 온풍덕트의 적절한 배치를 통하여, 주간에는 환기와 공기유동을 통하여 균일도를 개선할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.
