계층분석기법을 이용한 이동통신사 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selection of the Telecommunication Company Using an Analytical Hierarchy Process)

  • This paper proposes the selection model of the telecommunication company using an analytical hierarchy process. When selecting a telecommunication company, consumers conflict the difficulty In decision-making because there are many competitive and complementary factors of telecommunication companies. To select an optimal telecommunication company, consumers need to consider a number of different quantitative and qualitative factors such as fare, various services, additional function and so on. In this study, we use the analytic hierarchy process based method for selecting the telecommunication company considering various factors to help consumers' decision-making for their benefits.

  • This paper proposes the selection model of the telecommunication company using an analytical hierarchy technique. When selecting a telecommunication company, consumers conflict the difficulty in decision-making because there are many competitive and complementary factors of telecommunication companies.   • 본 논문에서는 수도권 대학생을 대상으로 한 Fuzzy AHP 기반의 이동통신사 신정을 위한 의사결정모델을 제안한다. 고객이 이동통신사를 선택할 때 이동통신사의 수많은 경쟁적인 그리고 상호보완적인 요소들로 인해 의사결정을 내리는 것이 용이하지 않다. 고객이 최적의 이동통신사를 결정하기 위해서는 요금, 다양한 서비스, 부가 기능 등과 같은 서로 다른 정량적 그리고 정성적 요소들을 고려할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 대학생들이 고객으로서 이동통신사를 선정할 때 다양한 정량적 그리고 정성적 요소들을 고려할 수 있는 퍼지 AHP 기반의 모델을 제안한다. 특히, 퍼지 이론은 불활성설과 애매모호한 문제를 다루기 위해 적용되고 또한 정량적 요인들을 피지수로 바꿀 수 있는 선형정규화 모델을 개발한다. 수도권 대학생들을 대상으로 한 사례 연구는 제안 모델의 유용성과 고객들이 이익을 위해 보다 나은 의사결정을 내릴 수 있도록 도와줄 수 있음을 보여준다.

이동통신사 서비스 요인과 전환혜택이 고객만족도와 전환의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Effects that Service Factors of Telecommunication Company and Switching Benefit Influence to the Customer Satisfaction and Switching Intention)

  • This study looks for the service factors influencing to conversion among the domestic telecommunication companies and finds out the effect which the switching benefit affect the customer satisfaction and the switching intention. Eight service factors of the telecommunication company such as usability, call quality, terminal quality, auxiliary service, rates, after service, application and brand image are selected and verified using the structural equation model. Auxiliary service, rates and brand image give positive (+) effects to the customer's satisfaction, but the application gives negative (-) effects to the customer's satisfaction. Switching benefit affects significantly to the switching intention, but not to the customer satisfaction. The customer satisfaction gives a positive effect to the switching intention. The telecommunication service factors influence to customer satisfaction and switching intention, and switching benefit also influences to switching intention. It was analyzed that the significant influencing service factors were a little different among the telecommunication companies.

Effects of Communication Company's Safety Management System on Workers' Safety Consciousness and Safety Observance Behavior

  • In this study, the effect of a telecommunication company's safety management system on workers' safety awareness and safety behavior was empirically verified. The main findings are as follows: First, among the factors of the telecommunication company's safety management system, the management supervisor's capability and level of industrial accident investigations were found to have a significant positive effect on workers' safety awareness. Second, workers' safety awareness was observed to exert a significant positive effect on their safety behavior. Third, among the factors of the telecommunication company's safety management system, the management supervisor's capability and industrial accident investigations were found to have a significant positive effect on the safety behavior of workers. Fourth, although the telecommunications safety management system factors, such as management supervisors' capability and industrial accident investigations, were found to have a positive effect on workers' safety awareness, they had no mediated effect on workers' safety behavior through safety awareness.

  • As well as the development of the measurement of service quality, various kinds of service measurements are also being developed. Especially the mobile telecommunication service being representative to the mobile telecommunication company would be the mostly developed area. Its development can be understood along with the development of the telecommunication companies as well as cellular companies, not only the service alone. It is a differentiated phenomenon in the current research, such as the organic influence between the service quality and product. Of course there are such products placed on sale and enjoyed the common service, but at present there is another case that the product is on the market exclusively with the mobile company in here. This article is to estimate service efficiency for Mobile Communication and Cellular company. In this paper, We tried to measure the service quality and overall satisfaction by using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA), degree of combination and top2box which is a little bit different methodology from traditional ones. This paper uses CCR model in DEA to measure service efficiency in the Mobile Communication.

  • 이동통신 시장 규모가 폭발적으로 증가함에 따라 이동통신사 간에 고객 유치 경쟁도 치열하다. 국내 이동통신사들은 좀 더 나은 품질과 서비스로 만족도를 향상시켜 고객을 확보하기 위한 노력을 전개하고 있다. 이에 이동통신 산업의 경쟁력과 부가가치를 높이기 위하여 이동통신사에 대한 만족도 요소와 종합 만족도를 정량적으로 평가할 수 있는 과학적 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 AHP와 통계적 방법을 이용하여 이러한 만족도를 정량적으로 추정하는 방법을 연구하고 실증분석 하였다. 제안된 방법을 활용하여 소비자들은 양질의 제품과 서비스를 받을 수 있을 것이며 나아가 국내 이동통신은 세계적으로 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to propose useful suggestions by explore the effects of the Mobile Telecommunication service quality on customer satisfaction and Customer Loyalty (Focus on Moderation effect of switching barrier) in Korea Mobile Telecommunication industry. Methods: After reviewing the literature, the structural eqation modeling(SEM) conducted by LISREL 8.53 test the research model. The data was collected from subscriber of mobile telecommunication service by the questionare in Korea. Results: The results of SEM show that Mobile Telecommunication Service Quality have a positive effect on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction also have a positive effect on customer loyalty. And switching barrier have a moderation effect between customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Conclusion: Mobile Telecommunication Service Quality is highly related to Customer Satisfation and Customer Loyalty, so Mobile Telecomunication Company should improve Service Quality especially price-related service quality and process/ human- related service quality. And the company need to get higher the positive Switching Barriers in order to improve Customer Loyalty.

  • The main purpose of this paper is analyzing long-term growth possibility of a telecommunication Company (Telco) H. First of all, to achieve this purpose, the precise understanding about causal relations among growth and decay factors of Telco H is required. Based upon the causal analysis, a basic computer simulation model is developed. Finally, several predictive examinations about growth possibility and pattern of the Telco H are conducted using three scenarios. From simulation results, the most important policy leverages are capabilities of market share sustenance, improvement of service quality and squeezing current network facility to elevate profitability and efficiency. Recently, telecommunication industry has become more and more competitive due to introduction of Internet and deregulation. Internet has brought about global competition as well as confusion between telecommunication and broadcasting industries. At the almost same time, deregulation is a universal tendency and a catalyst of unlimited competition. Telco H has been a dominant company in Korea for last century. However, the dominant position of Telco H has been threatened by the change of competition environment. The competitive environment has many elements and keeps changing dynamically. Therefore, System Dynamics simulation methodology is adopted to examine the problem.

  • Six sigma activities in an information and communication technology company in Korea are introduced. Korea Telecom(KT) was a public company for a long time and became a private enterprise not long ago. Although this company adopted many innovation programs, they were not effective because of the company's characteristics : long-time government-owned and information service industry. This paper describes the reason why KT introduced six sigma, some implementation strategy, and key factors to successfully deploy it. This paper is expected to be helpful to public or service industry in which it is very difficult to implement innovation activities.
