The Expectation for Material Properties of Microstructure by Application of Dynamic Response Characteristics (동적 응답 특성을 활용한 미세구조의 물성 분포에 대한 예측)

  • This paper addresses the prediction of the material property continuities of a microstructure. Prediction was made by measuring the dynamic responses distribution of the fabricated materials used in the microstructures. When these distributional material properties were used in estimating the mechanical performances of microstructures, the differences between the computer simulation and the experimental result of microstructures could be reduced and their reliability design could be made.

Portable-size Drone Design Using TRIZ Method (TRIZ 기법을 통한 휴대가 용이한 Drone 설계)

  • Various drones have extended application area very fast. In this paper, we define two contradictions in designing a portable-size drone by using TRIZ technique. The first is a physical contradiction between high rigidity and good portability, and the second is a technical contradiction between high stability and good portability. Through TRIZ technique, six design principles, which guide direction for optimal design, were driven. Consequently, an umbrella mechanism and design criteria were proposed for a portable-size drone. Detail design is verified through finite element method. Test results for the portable-size prototype drone show good performance, and prove its usefulness to be equivalent to a general full-size drone.

  • 본 논문에서는 위치와 스마트폰 센서를 활용하여 불규칙한 생활패턴을 가진 사람들을 위한 일상 관리 어플리케이션을 설계하고 구현한다. 이 어플리케이션의 기능은 하루단위의 원형시간표 자동 제작하는 기능, 수면시간 측정 기능, 만보기 기능, 미세먼지 측정 기능 및 일, 주, 월단위의 누적 데이터 표시 기능으로 크게 5가지로 구분할 수 있다. 하루 단위의 원형시간표 자동제작 기능은 사용자의 위치를 파악하여 시간대별 위치정보를 이용해 24시간의 원형시간표를 채워나가는 기능이다. 특정 위치를 직장이나 집과 같이 등록함으로서 업무와 이동 등을 구분하여 등록할 수 있도록 한다. 수면시간 측정 기능은 앞서 말한 집의 위치에서 가속센서를 통해 일정시간 움직임이 없는 경우, 수면시간으로 간주하고 수면 시작시간과 기상시간을 유추하는 기능이다. 만보기 기능은 스마트폰의 기본 가속센서를 이용하여 측정하는 기능으로 목표치를 지정할 수 있도록 한다. 미세먼지의 표시 기능은 공공API를 이용하여 가져옴으로써 사용자에게 정확한 미세먼지 수치와 단계를 나누어 위험정도를 보여주는 기능이다. 각 데이터들은 데이터베이스에 누적 기록되며 일, 주, 월 단위로 사용자가 볼 수 있도록 기능을 구성한다. 이 누적데이터를 통해 사용자들에게 불안정한 하루 생활패턴이나 운동량 등을 인지하도록 함으로써 자신의 일상을 되짚어보고 앞으로의 일상을 개선할 수 있도록 도와준다.

Research on Technology Status and Development Direction of Wearable Robot (웨어러블 로봇의 기술 현황 조사 및 개발 방향 제안 연구)

  • Technology status was investigated by analyzing patents and development cases of wearable robots. Development direction of wearable robot for wearability was also suggested by understanding the problems of wearability from development cases through the FGI technique. The number of patents per technical field was the most in the field of strength support, but AI in the technology field was different in each country; Korea was found to be poor in the category of daily living assistance. The number of patents by technology category was the most in the category of muscular strength assistance. However, the values of AI in the technology category were different in each country; Korea was found to be poor in the category of daily living assistance. Development cases were focused on rehabilitation, so development is not fulfilled uniformly by use purpose. By wearing body parts, robots with single function type were mainly developed. Rigid material robots were mainly developed. It was confirmed that wearable robot technology is not developed evenly in the category of application because it is in the early stage of the technical proposal and centered on main performance improvement. We derived twelve wearable conditions for wearable robots: Shape and Size Appropriateness, Movement Appropriateness, Composition Appropriateness, Physiological Appropriateness, Performance Satisfaction, Ease of Operation, Safety, Durability, Ease of Dressing, Ease of Cleaning, Portability and Ease of Storage and Appearance Satisfaction. Finally, the development direction of a wearable robot for each wearable condition was suggested.

  • An expression of image in visual communication design traditionally has a dose relationship with the mechanical part of several expression media. Especially, an image conversion becomes easter by converging various forms of image such as a pictorial expression, a drawing up a plan, an optical expression and a reflected image into digital data in the image expression using digital mode. In addition, synthesis between various forms of visual ,images is activated by the integration of all expression media into digital mode and thus the extent of the image expression becomes diversified. Moreover, there is a tendency that a various dimensional expression such as 3D and 4D is generalized in the image expression of digital design. A partial or whole image conversion has often occurred during the generalization process of several image forms. Such conversion summarized into two factors, a formative side and a technical side. We described the existing pictorial expression as a formative side, an optical expression as a photography, a materialization of image conversion theory of computer graphic image conversion according to data form as a technical side and specific content according to dimension. We summarized objective and demonstrative resets through a simple simulation using a computer for the contents required a technical and qualitative measure and presented an application program of the particular results from the study to the visual communication design work by a case.

  • One of the most important works in the development of military aircraft is to construct and utilize the various technical data and information needed in the design, analysis and evaluation under integrated system structure. A vast and various data in oder to optimize cockpit design is needed in geometric & arrangement design, vision analysis and escape system design. In addition, the application of ergonomics cockpit design concept based on the sorts of human elements and anthropometric data as design consideration for pilots is required. To accomplish above these activities, the data gathered and formed through the aircraft development program was become database and developed by tool to be able to support ergonomics cockpit design work.

  • A cascade multilevel voltage source inverter is introduced to apply the advanced static var compensator(ASVC) for large scale power application. This cascade M-level inverter consists of (M-1)/2 single-phase full bridges. This inverter is suitable to the flexible ac transmission systems(FACTS) including SVC, series compensation and phase shifting. It can solve the problems of conventional transformer -based multipulse inverters and multilevel diode-clamped inverters. From the simulation results, the validity of ASVC with cascade multilevel inverter is shown for high power application.

  • Ever since the ideal forming theory has been developed fur process design purposes, application has been limited to sheet forming and, for bulk forming, to two-dimensional steady flow. Here, application for the non-steady case was performed under the plane-strain condition based on the theory previously developed. In the ideal flow, material elements deform following the minimum plastic work path (or mostly proportional true strain path) so that the ideal plane-strain flow can be effectively described using the two-dimensional orthogonal convective coordinate system. Besides kinematics, for a prescribed final part shape, schemes to optimize a preform shape out of a class of initial configurations and also to define the evolution of shapes and boundary tractions were developed. Discussions include the two problematic issues on internal tractions and the non-monotonous straining. For demonstration purposes, numerical calculations were made for a bulk part under forging.

  • The soil nailing system is becoming common as reinforcement method of slope face in soil. It has application to obtain slope stability method and scaffolding system. It has some troubles when the soil nailing system is applied to the downtown because it could be invaded someone's private area. Thus, in this paper, wedge type removable soil nailing system which can easily remove deformed bar in final excavation step is developed. Field pull-out test is performed to evaluate deformed bars removal and pullout resistance characteristics. According to this result, application of Wedge Type Removable Soil Nailing System is performed.

  • The emergence of ubiquitous autonomic computing and network environment will change the service architecture information system which will be a new application area in SCM/logistics systems. In this study we surveyed the technical trend map of ubiquitous and its application in SCM/logistics support system design. We described the evolutional model of ubiquitous computing community for SCM/logistics system. It is consisted of three view points; self-growing, autonomic, and context-aware, which will allow the decision makers to be benefited from web and mobile technology and are useful for proactive SCM/logistics support system. Finally, we suggested a cooperative research planning for the development ubiquitous system between the government research center, university, and industry research activities.
