  • In modern society, the number of applications, which needs storage, is increased. Among them, the advance of FinTech increased the importance of storage encryption. FinTech storage, storing sensitive information, should be kept secure. Unless the storage is kept, many users will be damaged monetarily. To prevent this problem, we should encrypt the storage. A EncFS, which is one of the most popular storage encryption application, uses different IVs for each block to provide higher levels of security in the encryption algorithm. However, there is a vulnerability related to the usage of same IVs. In this paper, we propose a technique that decrypts the ciphertexts without knowing the secret key by using the vulnerability. Moreover, we show that the EncFS is not secure under IND-CPA model and propose a new scheme which is secure under IND-CPA model.

  • With mobile-epoch and emerging of Fin-tech, Bio-recognition technology utilizing bio-information in secure method has spread. Specially, In order to change convenient payment services and transportation cards, the combination of biometrics and mobile services are being expanded. The basic concept of authentication such as access control, IA&A, OpenID, OAuth 1.0a, SSO, and Biometrics techniques are investigated, and the protocol stack for security API platform, FIDO, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, JSON Identity Suite, Keystone of OpenStack, Cloud-based SSO, and AIM Agent are described detailed in aspect of application of AIM. The authentication technology in domestic and foreign will accelerate technology development and research of standardization centered in the federated FIDO Universal Authentication Framework(UAF) and Universal 2 Factor Framework(U2F). To accommodate the changing needs of the social computing paradigm recently in this paper, the trends of various authentication technology, and design and function of AIM framework was defined.

  • In the perspective of value-based adoption mode, this study empirically examined the factors that affect the intention of users of Fintech payment services to stop using them. A survey of college students who are familiar with digital devices, have no objection to payment and settlement services, and have high service access. A total of 148 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS. The study results show that perceived benefits, complexity, and security concerns are significant factors influencing the discontinue intention of Fintech payment services. Among them, the perceived benefit showed the most significant influence. Based on the results of this study, Fintech providers will be able to build a service environment to provide continuous benefits for maintaining long-term relationships with users, improve systems to secure various uses, and reduce users' negative perceptions of security. Recently, the use of services by the elderly has increased, so it is necessary to expand the scope of this study to target various age groups in future research.

  • This study develops an extended model to predict customer satisfaction in easy payment systems based on information systems success model. Our data was collected from easy payment systems users and analyzed using PLS. This study selected four variables as easy payment systems characteristics(convenience, variety, security, speed) along with gender being used as a moderating variable. The results showed that convenience and security are turned out to affect customer satisfaction. Additionally, the test of difference in gender revealed that with respect to gender, moderating effects exist in security and speed. This implies that this study can provide different promotion strategies according to gender. Overall, the proposed model could be used to predict customers' willingness to pay on the easy payment systems.

  • The rapid development of information technology has affected many industries, and made consumers receive new services that are completely different from those of the past. In the financial industry, various changes are taking place, such as providing the payment system which is easy to use and offering differentiated services. This study examined the factors affecting the intention to use mobile payment system. In particular, we considered both practical and emotional factors that affect the intentions. The mobile payment system, which is a new form of payment, is rapidly developing in China. In Korea, it is still in the beginning stage due to the legal regulations and the activation of alternative payment methods. This study, therefore, compared the differences in factors that affect the intention to use mobile payment system between Korea and China.

  • Purpose With the development of information and communication technologies. fintech industry is rapidly growing as a major financial service. Previous research literatures mainly focused on overall characteristics and technical aspects of fintech including security issues. Therefore, this study investigated the effect of individual features influencing the resistance of adopting a fintech service. Moreover, this paper included the guidelines in practical development of fintech mechanism. Design/methodology/approach For research purposes, this study developed research hypotheses in order to empirically examine the effect of the factors that might have a significant effect on the resistance of the wearable device. The empirical research was based on a survey which carried through 359 participants. Research hypotheses were evaluated via SPSS Statistics 21.0 and AMOS 19 statistical package program. Findings Results showed that self-efficacy and individual innovation had a significant effect on the technostress and switching cost. In addition, technostress, security and switching cost had a significant effect on the resistance of adopting a fintech service. However, more factors are needed to including in research model to generalize these results.

  • Though easy payment service is the most well accepted one among various fin-tech services, the users still face difficulties and feel embarrassed when they use it. Over the past few years, many studies have been done on the users' experiences of easy payment service but there are little studies directly exploring the users' inquiries on the web. In this paper, we analyzed users' questions on Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, and Samsung Pay in Naver Jisik-iN, the biggest inquiry service in Korea from 2019 to 2020. We used keyword analysis, association analysis, and sentiment analysis. We found out that each payment service has distinct inquiries from the users according to its platform which it is based on.

  • Recently, deep reinforcement learning has been applied to a variety of industries, such as games, robotics, autonomous vehicles, and data cooling systems. An algorithm called reinforcement learning allows for automated asset allocation without the requirement for ongoing monitoring. It is free to choose its own policies. The purpose of this paper is to carry out an empirical analysis of the performance of asset allocation strategies. Among the strategies considered were the conventional Mean- Variance Optimization (MVO) and the Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO). According to the findings, the PPO outperformed both its benchmark index and the MVO. This paper demonstrates how dynamic asset allocation can benefit from the development of a reinforcement learning algorithm.
