팀장의 변혁적 리더십과 팀 구성원의 셀프리더십이 팀 성과에 미치는 영향 -공기업 종사자를 중심으로- (Influence of Team Performance on the Transformational Leadership & SelfLeadership - Focus on the Employees of Public Enterprises -)

  • 본 연구는 기업 환경의 불확실성이 증가되고 있는 시점에서 변혁적 리더십과 셀프리더십이 팀 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석함으로써 팀제의 효용성과 리더십의 중요성에 대한 시사점을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 조직구성원 간에는 교환관계 질을 형성한다는 LMX이론과 사회교환이론 및 경영환경에 적합한 리더십을 발휘해야 한다는 상황이론을 본 연구의 이론적 배경으로 하고 있다. 국내 공기업 9개사를 대상으로 총 166개 팀 880명의 유효 데이터를 활용하여 SPSS 20.0을 이용 회귀분석으로 연구가설을 증명하였다. 연구결과 팀장의 변혁적 리더십은 팀 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치며, 셀프리더십의 행위전략과 인지전략은 팀장의 변혁적 리더십과 팀 성과 간의 관계를 유의하게 조절하는 것으로 나타남으로써 당초 설정된 연구가설을 모두 채택하게 되었다. 특이한 점은 셀프리더십이 낮은 집단에서 그 효과는 더욱 강하게 나타났다. 본 연구결과가 함의한 바는 팀제 조직에서 팀의 관리자가 셀프리더십이 상대적으로 낮은 집단의 구성원들에게 관심을 갖고 실천할 수 있는 목표를 부여하여 구성원 스스로가 동기부여 될 수 있도록 배려한다면 그렇지 않은 경우와 비교해서 팀 성과는 뚜렷이 향상된다는 것이다.

  • 본 연구는 선율타악기 연주중심 집단프로그램이 유소년 축구선수의 팀응집력과 팀효능감에 영향을 미치는지 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구에는 중학교 소속 축구선수 57명이 참여하였다. 실험집단(n=28)은 주 4회, 45분씩, 총 8회기의 선율타악기 연주중심 집단프로그램에 참여하였고, 통제집단(n=29)은 별도의 중재 없이 휴식을 취하였다. 효과검정을 위해 프로그램 실시 전 후에 팀응집력 척도와 팀효능감 척도를 사용한 검사를 실시하였다. t검정을 통해 비교 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 집단 간 팀응집력 사후점수 차이 검정에서 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 집단 내 사전 사후점수 차이 검정에서도 실험집단은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 집단 간 팀효능감 사후점수 차이 검정에서 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 집단 내 사전 사후점수 차이 검정에서도 실험집단은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이상의 연구결과는 선율타악기 연주중심 집단프로그램이 유소년 축구선수의 팀응집력과 팀효능감을 향상시키는 효과적인 중재 도구임을 시사한다.

자동차부품기업의 신제품 개발을 위한 교류기억체계(TMS)의 활용과 팀 성과에 관한 연구 (Utilization of Transactive Memory Systems for New Product Development and its Influence on Team Performance: Focus on Automobile Parts Firm)

  • Purpose The development of new products in automobile parts industry plays an important role. Nowadays, automobile industry is one of the most important industries in the world, because automobile industry includes the industries of steel, machinery, electronic, etc. As a result, automobile industry embodies a country's level of development and competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between team characteristics such as communication, familiarity, and contiguity, and team performance through TMS in the process of new products development in automobile parts industry. Design/Methodology/Approach Based on real phenomenon of Korean automobile parts industry, this study tried to figure out the influence of TMS between team members for new product development on team performance. Thus, this study adopts communication, familiarity and contiguity as antecedents, and TMS with specialty, credibility and coordination as a mediating variable, and adopts team performance as a dependent variable. The data of questionnaire were collected from team managers who belong to new product development team in automobile parts firms. 171 questionnaires as data unit of group level from 80 Korean automobile parts firms were collected using face-to-face interview methods. Findings This study proved empirically that the relationship between antecedents and TMS has a positive influence, and TMS also has a positive influence on team performance. This study provides the managers an insight that automobile parts companies should pay more attention to set up TMS in order to improve higher performance between their team members for new product development of automobile parts.

Association between beverage intake and obesity in children: The Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) 2013-2015

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Numerous researches have studied the association between sugar intake and obesity of children in many countries. This study was undertaken to investigate the association between beverage intake and obesity of children by reviewing a database for total sugar contents established in all foods and presented in a nutrition survey by the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). SUBJECTS/METHODS: Data of 1,520 children aged 6-11 years in the 6th KNHANES (2013-2015) were analyzed for this study. A database for total sugar intake comprises the total sugar contents of all foods included in the results of a nutrition survey using the 24-hour recall method of 6th KNHANES. Beverages were categorized into carbonated beverages, fruit & vegetable drinks, other drinks, tea, and coffee. RESULTS: The average daily beverage intake of all children was 131.75 g/day, and the average daily total sugar intake in beverages was 13.76 g/day. Carbonated beverages had the highest intake rate (58.85 g/day) and also ranked highest for sugar intake (6.36 g/day). After adjusting for confounding variables, the odds ratio for obesity in children with beverage intake of ${\geq}200mL/day$ significantly increased by 1.83 times (95% CI, 1.11-3.00) as compared to children with beverage intake of < 200 mL/day. Also, a significant increase was observed in the odds ratio for obesity in total children (2.41 times; 95% CI, 1.35-4.33) and boys (3.15 times; 95% CI, 1.53-6.49) with carbonated beverage intake of ${\geq}200mL/day$ when compared with children who consumed < 200 mL/day. CONCLUSION: A positive association is observed between beverage intake and obesity in Korean children. In particular, an intake of carbonated beverages has a positive correlation with childhood obesity in boys. This study can therefore be used as scientific evidence for reducing sugar, and for the continuous management and research on beverages.

청소년의 신체활동과 주관적 행복감 간의 관련성 (Association between Physical Activities and Subjective Well-being among Korea Adolescent)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the association between participation in physical activities (PA) and subjective well-being. Methods: We analyzed the data from Korean Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey, 2013 containing 36,655 and 35,780 for male and female students respectively. Study variables included PA, participation in physical education class, participation in team sports and subjective well-being. Control variables were school type, socio-economic status, level of parent education, living with parent, academic performance, delinquent behaviors, depression and perceived health. For this study, descriptive analysis, Chi-square test, and multivariate logistic regression analysis were performed. Results: Among boys, after adjusting for control variables, PA (past 7 days 0 time reference group vs. over 4 times: OR 1.306), physical education class (past 7 days 0 time reference group vs. over 3 times: OR 1.140), and team sports (no team reference group vs. 2 team: OR 1.206) were associated with subjective well-being. Among girls, control variables were adjusted. PA (past 7 days 0 time reference group vs over 4 times: OR 1.244), physical education class (past 7 days 0 time reference group vs. over 3 times: OR 1.161), and team sports (no team reference group vs. 2 team: OR 1.181) were associated with subjective well-being. Conclusions: Participation in physical activities may help adolescent promote their life satisfaction. Thus, education experts should develop various exercise curriculums to encourage participation in physical activities.

웰니스리더십과 성과: 조직분위기의 조절효과 (The Relationship between the Wellness Leadership and Performance: Moderating Effect of Organization Climate)

  • 최근 조직내 구성원들의 긍정심리가 성과와 긍정적인 관계가 있다는 연구들이 보고되면서 많은 조직들이 구성원들의 정서를 긍정적으로 유지하고 발전시키려는 노력 해 오고 있다. 이러한 노력의 하나로 기업들은 그동안 개인적인 영역으로 생각되어오던 구성원들의 건강증진을 위한 조직의 체계적인 지원 및 제도 운영의 필요성을 제기하기 시작하였다. 또한 이러한 제도적 지원이 효과적으로 운영되기 위해 리더 역할을 중요성을 강조하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 리더들의 웰니스리더십과 성과 간의 관계를 검증해 보고 리더행동에 영향을 직접적으로 받는 건강지원조직분위기의 역할에 대해 실증해 보았다. 이를 위해 IT 제조기업을 대상으로 215부의 설문응답을 모아 위계적회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 리더의 웰니스리더십과 구성원들의 지각된 팀성과 간에는 통계적으로 유의미한 관계를 확인하였다. 건강지원분위기는 웰니스리더십과 팀성과 간의 관계를 조절하였다. 이러한 실증연구결과를 토대로 경영학적 관점의 실무적 및 학문적 시사점을 논의 하였다.

자연보호답사대회 보고서에 진술된 국민학생의 가설능력의 분석 (The Analysis of Elementary School Students' Hypotheses in the Field Trip Contest of the Second Korean Youth Science Festival)

  • This study is to consider hypotheses with integral view on the respect of creative thinking. Subjects of this study are Korean students in the 5th grade who participated in the Field Trip Contest of the second Korean Youth Science Festival, an openended inquiry investigation. Objectives of this study are as follows: 1) to measure the inquiry level of the Field Trip Contest activity 2) to find how many hypotheses were made on different types in the inquiry investigation 3) to measure the quality level of hypotheses made in the scientific inquiry investigation 4) to find out the correlation between the 1st and 2nd hypotheses and the final activity score in the two staged scientific investigation In the consequence of it, inquiry level of the Field Trip Contest was very high with good activity topics and openended way of investigation. Hypotheses were made in the prediction, plan, and conclusion parts in the field trip activity report. They used hypothesis-as-prediction typed statements(3.41/team) more than hypothesis-as-explanation(1.28/team) and descriptive hypothesis(0.03/team) types. Content-related hypothesis(5.03/team) and process-related hypothesis(6.16/team) were usually coupled each other. Most of them had difficulties in hypothesis-from-evidence(0.31/team, 10/32 teams) in the comparison of hypothesis-from-simple conjecture(10.62/team). The quality level of content-related hypotheses(0.74point/statement) and process-related hypotheses(1.98point/statement) were very low by the hypothesis-quality scale(Quinn and George, 1975) for the content-related hypotheses and the process-related hypothesis quality scale developed in this study. There was considerable correlation between the activity score and the 1st and 2nd hypothesis in the 2 staged inquiry investigations with the 2nd and 3rd topics($0.41{\ast}$, $0.59{\ast}{\ast}$ repectively).

리더의 자기기만 행동이 팀학습에 미치는 영향: 심리적 안전감과 침묵풍토의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Leader's Self-Deception Behavior on Team Learning: Mediating Effect of Psychological Safety and Silent Climate)

  • 본 연구는 팀 리더의 자기기만 행동이 팀 학습에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 심리적 안전감과 침묵풍토의 이중 매개 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 국내 일반기업에서 근무하는 직원 294명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS 21과 Process Macro v.3.3을 활용하여 자료 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 우선, 팀 리더의 자기기만 행동은 팀원들의 심리적 안전감과 부적 상관, 침묵풍토와 정적 상관, 팀 학습과 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 팀 리더의 자기기만 행동이 팀 학습에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 심리적 안전감과 침묵풍토가 각각 매개변인의 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이들 심리적 안전감과 침묵풍토가 순차적으로 매개역할을 하는 이중매개효과 또한 확인되었다. 본 연구는 조직의 팀 성과 향상을 위해서 팀 리더의 진정성의 관리가 중요하다는 실무적인 의의가 있으며, 마지막으로 본 연구와 관련된 시사점 및 제한점이 결론 및 논의에서 다루어졌다.

임도 노선측량 작업의 작업분석 (Work analysis of route survey work on forest-road)

  • This study examined the work time, work posture, and work intensity for the actual measurement step in forest road the design work that was being carried out. The measurement of the forest road was being carried by a team of three workers and a team of four workers. The examination of work time found that the measurement of 1km took about 8 hours for the four-worker team and 12 hours for the three-worker team. The examination of work intensity found that the energy metabolic rates of the three-worker team were lower than four-worker team. Because their energy consumption per minute decreased as their work time and rest time increased. Furthermore, when appropriate rest time was applied according to work time, the energy metabolic rate decreased and the work intensity became lower. The four-worker team was more advantageous from the time and cost aspects of the forest road measurement work. Furthermore, as the rest time was very low compared to the work time, more efficient forest road measurement work would be possible if the work intensity was lowered by considering the rest time when calculating the standard work time.
