수학과 화학 통합교육의 실행을 위한 교수.학습의 실제 - 중학교 1학년 함수단원을 중심으로 - (Teaching & Learning of Function Based on the Class Structure Model for Integrated Education of Mathematics & Chemistry)

  • 교과간의 연결성을 바탕으로 통합교육에 대한 필요성이 꾸준히 대두되고 있는 요즘 본 연구는 간학문적 통합교육이 가능한 수학의 함수단원과 화학의 분자운동단원을 선택하여 통합적 교수모형을 설계하고 경기도 성남시에 거주하는 학생을 대상으로 총 5단계의 8차시에 걸친 사례연구를 2010년 2학기말에 실시하였다. 연구결과 수학과학통합교육은 상호 교과의 공통내용을 학습하는데 시너지효과를 주며 긍정적인 변화를 가져왔다. 실생활의 자연적 현상에 대한 예로부터 MBL를 사용하여 기체의 부피, 온도, 압력 등의 측정값을 구하였고 이 측정값으로부터의 보일의 법칙과 샤를의 법칙 속에 함수개념을 이해할 수 있었는데 두 주제가 공통의 학습목표를 지향하기에 Fogarty의 통합적 교수모형이 적절하였음을 알 수 있었다. 학생들의 학습과정을 통해 전체 5단계를 걸쳐 학습하는 동안 함수에 대한 개념이 확립되어 일반화하는 단계까지 점진적 수학화가 이루어졌다고 할 수 있으며 따라서 수학적 과학적 사고의 통합이 가능하였다.

초등학교 급식에서 배출되는 음식물쓰레기의 환경교육적 활용(I) - 음식물쓰레기 현황 및 환경교육적 활용 분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on Practical Applications of Environmental Education related to Food Waste Collected from Elementary School Foodservices(I))

  • This study was conducted as a preliminary step to establish a model for the practical application of environmental education related to food wastes collected from elementary school foodservices. Methods of treatment and present recycling status of food wastes in elementary schools in Kyonggido were surveyed. The consciousness of dieticians who have been serving for elementary school foodservices was also analyzed through the survey questions concerning environmental education for the reduction and recycling of food wastes. The results derived from this survey were as follows: The major portion of food wastes from elementary school foodservices was constituted with vegetables and soup, and an average amount of food wastes per day was highest in June and July. Therefore environmental education related to reduction of wastes was needed in the first semester of school terms, and the possible reduction of food wastes achieved through the proper planning of school foodservice menu was also needed. In most cases food wastes were collected and treated by animal growing farmers or composted by machines in school. In operating composting machines microorganism inoculant was mostly used but dieticians pointed out the problem of a nasty odor, insects, and high energy consumption. This situation means it has not been operated efficiently and suggests an efficiency problem of machine composting in elementary schools because composting itself is based on the aerobic digestion and high temperature fermentation which kills insects and harmful microorganisms. Elementary school dieticians in Kyonggido were aware that food wastes cause main pollution problem, and that food wastes are valuable resources which can be recycled, and recycling of food wastes is inevitable. But more than half of the schools surveyed have not been reused food wastes in school, so a proper model for recycling and reuse of food wastes in school grounds was thought to be needed. Environmental education programs related to food wastes have not been peformed in more than half of the schools surveyed. It was concluded that the following three plans will be helpful to reduce school food wastes. First, environmental education should be enforced, second, teachers' and dieticians' intensive teaching concerning food wastes should be needed, and finally establishment of a model for recycling and reuse of food wastes in school grounds and its application to environmental education would offer a valuable field experience to school students.

젖소 사양기술의 자동화를 위한 연구 1. 임신유지 여부 및 질병자동진단 시스템개발 (Studies on Automatization of Dairy Cattle Farming 1. Development of Automatic System for Diagnosis of Pregnancy and Diseases)

  • These studies were performed to provide some basic informations for developing an automatic system in dairy farming cattle in order that the farmers may easily and automatically detect the maintenance of pregnancy and the fact of abortion of the pregnant cows and also to find out the diseased animals with fever. As a method of automatical detection of the maintenance of pregnancy or the fact of abortion, weighing the pregnant cows was conducted from one month-pregnancy to the term using a digital balance. From the first to the 3rd month of pregnancy the body weight of dairy cows was slowly increased (less than 2% per month), then, relatively high increase (3.4% -4.3% per month) from the fourth to the seventh month followed by decrease (3.3%) in the 8th month and very low increase (0.8-0.9%) from the 9th month to the term were shown, resulting in increase of 128.8 kg (25.05%) of body weight to be compared with the first weight. More than 107, increase of body weight to be compared with the first month-weight was denoted from the 61th month of pregnancy and more than 20% increase from the 7th or the 8th month of pregnancy as wells consequently it was presumed that detection of the maintenance of pregnancy is possible from the 4th or the 5th month of pregnancy. It was possible to diagnose a cow aborted at the 6th month by continual weighing the cow from the 1st month of pregnancy. The calved cows showed considerably higher decrease of body weight even in the third week after parturition (p<0.01)to be compared with the body weight near to the term (81.8-102.0 kg, 14-16% decrease). During the same period of 8months, the pregnant cows gained 127.4 kg (24.78% increase), whereas the non-pregnant cows gained 33.0 kg (0.71% increase) to be compared with the first weight showing considerably higher increase of body weight gain in the pregnant cows than the non-pregnant cows (p<0.01). The statistics of body temperatures of dairy cattle were collected from three clinics including the Teaching Hospital of Chonbuk University and the diseases were classified simply by the major symptoms manifested, denoting the highest temperature in respiratory disease ($39.8{\circ}C$) and the lowest in alimentary disease ($39.6{\circ} C$). These informations of body temperatures were expected to be of value for early and automatical detection of the diseased animals with fever when automatic machinery would be established. The results of periodic weighing the body weight of pregnant cows while milking were also expected to be of great use for the farmers to detect the maintenance of pregnancy and the fact of abortion when the automatic system is established in the near future.

초등 예비교사의 과학수업 성찰지에 나타난 노티싱 특성 분석 (Analysis of Noticing Characteristics Presented in Elementary Pre-service Teachers' Self-reflection Journals on the Science Class)

  • 노티싱은 교사가 교수학습 맥락에서 무엇에 주의를 기울이는지, 그것을 어떻게 해석하고 반응해야 하는지 결정하는 것을 의미한다. 노티싱을 분석하여 교육 설계 및 실행의 주체인 교사의 수업설계, 실행, 반성의 전반적 특성을 이해할 수 있으며 이는 교사 역량 강화를 위한 교사교육 설계의 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 수업설계와 시연 후의 성찰 과정에서 나타나는 초등 예비교사의 노티싱 특성을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 강원도 소재 교육대학에 재학 중인 초등 예비교사 106명이 온도에 따른 기체의 부피 변화 개념을 다루는 과학수업의 시연 후에 작성한 수업 성찰지를 분석하였다. '주체', '수업 단계', '주제', '초점', '견지'의 다섯 가지 차원으로 이루어진 노티싱 분석틀을 설계한 후 이를 활용하여 각 차원의 구성요소별 빈도와 비율을 도출하였다. 또한 '수업 단계'와 '주제'에 따른 '초점'의 빈도와 비율을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 '주체' 차원에서는 '교사와 학생'을 동시에 주목한 빈도가 가장 높았으며, '수업 단계' 차원에서는 '탐구 활동'의 빈도가 가장 높았다. '주제' 차원에서는 '수업전략에 따른 수업설계'가 가장 빈번하게 나타났으며 '초점' 차원에서는 수업의 목표이자 학생이 달성해야 할 역량을 특정하지 않은 경우가 가장 많았다. '견지' 차원에서는 '기술'이 가장 높은 빈도로 나타났다. '수업 단계'와 '주제'에 따라 '초점'이 어떻게 달라지는지 분석한 결과 차원의 구성요소별로 특징적인 초점이 나타난 것을 알 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 예비교사의 노티싱 특성이 교사교육의 설계 및 운영에 갖는 시사점을 논의하였다.
