교육용로봇을 이용한 프로그래밍 학습 모형 - 재량활동 및 특기적성 시간에 레고 마인드스톰의 Labview 언어 중심으로 - (A Programming Language Learning Model Using Educational Robot)

  • 본 연구는 창의적 문제해결 능력 향상을 위한 알고리즘 학습도구로서 로봇을 이용한 프로그래밍 학습방법을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 30차시 분량의 로봇 프로그래밍 교육과정과 교재를 개발하였으며, 초등학생 6학년을 대상으로 30차시를 학습시킨 후 평가하였다. 각 차시별 학습결과 산출물 중심으로 성취수준을 평가한 결과, 학습자들이 교육과정 내용을 대부분 이해한 수준으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과는 개발한 교육과정과 교재가 초등학생들에게 충분히 공감하고 실천 가능하도록 구성되었다고 판단된다. 본 연구에서의 실행 경험을 통해 초등학교에서 로봇 프로그램 학습이 창의적 알고리즘 학습도구로 성공할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하게 되었다.

센서 및 블록 확장 가능한 교구용 보조 로봇 개발 (Development of Sensor and Block expandable Teaching-Aids-robot)

  • 본 논문에서는 실제 학교현장에서 로봇교육을 수행하고 고민하는 수요자 요구의 기능을 갖춘 스크래치 활용교육이 가능한 교육용 로봇 시스템을 임베디드 환경에서 설계 및 구현하였다. 로봇 시스템의 기반이 되는 센싱 정보처리와 소프트웨어 설계 및 프로그래밍 실습 교육을 위한 피지컬 교육이 가능하도록 개발하였다. 시스템의 개발 환경으로는 CPU는 Atmega 328코어를 사용한 Arduino Uno기반 제품으로, 디버깅 환경은 Arduino Sketch 기반, 펌웨어 개발 언어는 C언어를, OS는 윈도우, Linux, Mac OS X를 사용하였다. 시스템 동작과정은 블루투스 통신을 이용하여 서버의 제어명령을 수신하여, 교육용 로봇의 다양한 센서를 구동시킨다. 교육과정으로는 스크래치 프로그램과 블루투스 통신으로 실시간 연동하여 스크래치 교육을 수행할 수 있도록 하였고, 스마트폰용 앱을 제공하여 환경에 구애받지 않으며, 확장을 통하여 C, 파이썬과 같은 교육이 가능하도록 설계하였다. 학교현장의 교사들이 개발된 제품을 사용해보고 일선교사의 요구에 만족할 만한 성능 처리 결과를 제시하였다.

  • 각종 디지털 기기의 보급으로 현대사회는 기기들이 일상화되었다. 더욱이 COVID-19라는 팬데믹 동안 실내에 머무르면서 기기 사용량의 증가와 온라인 학습의 증가로 눈 피로도에 따른 어린이들의 근시 증가, 젊은 노안 증가, 안구 건조증과 같은 증상이 증가하고 있고, 이제는 눈 건강에 대한 관심이 예전과 다르다. 눈 건강에 대한 처방은 여러 가지가 있지만 본 논문에서는 VR 콘텐츠를 활용한 시기능 강화 훈련 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 시기능 강화 훈련에 관한 기존의 교구에 의한 아날로그 방법들을 디지털 콘텐츠로 기획 및 제작하였으며, 일반 시기능 훈련센터에서 교구를 가지고 진행하는 다양한 방법 중 콘텐츠화가 가능한 7가지의 방법을 선택하여 VR 기반의 훈련콘텐츠로 개발하였다. 각 콘텐츠의 훈련 과정에서 사용자에게 훈련의 참여에 대한 피드백을 주기 위해 VR 기기에 아이트래킹을 적용하여 훈련 과정에 대한 관리와 집중도를 분석할 수 있도록 제안하였다.

초등양호교사 보건교육실태에 관(關)한 조사연구 (A Study on the Actual Conditions of Health Education in Elementary Nurses Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to survey the current status of informal health education which elementary school nurses have performed in these days. The questionaire survey in this study was obtained from 154 (74.0%) out of 208 elementary school nurses in Kyungbuk province. This study is about their health educational conditions, contents, attitudes. The results are summarized as follows. 1. General characteristics of respondents 1) As for age distribution, thirties with 56.5% is larger than any other group 2) As for school size, below 18 classes with 48.1% is the highest 3) As for the place in which the work, country side (below county) with 65.7% is the highest 4) 89.6% of total respondents have graduated from nurse college 5) Their total career below 10 years is 68.2% 6) Their clinical career below one year is 35.7% 2. Actual conditions of health education 1) The rate of respondents who execute health education is 75.3% out of 154 respondents 2) Health education does not execute because the task of school nurses is busy. This percentage is 55.3% 3) Respondents who draw up a yearly health education plan are 84.5% 4) Weekly health education classes with 1~2 times are 79.3% and teaching time with 89.7% is physical class. 5) 75.0% of total respondents don't use the textbook in health education and the reason is that the contents of nextbook are poor. 6) In health education, teaching aids with VTR, slide flims, charts etc. are 80.2% 7) 82.8% of total respondents don't evaluate the result of teaching 3. Analysis of contents of health education and attitudes of school nurses. 1) The rate of private sanitation for keeping health with 64.7% is high among the contents 2) 90.9% of total respondents demand health education and 92.9% of then demand its independence of a subject. 3) The degrees of school principals' help and understanding are 90.3%, and those of teachers are 89.6% 4) The degrees of school nurses' confidence are high at 35.1% 5) Regular health education classes a week of a school nurse with 3~4 times are 40.9% 6) The greatest difficulty in health education with 70.1% is lack of teaching aids.

초등과학교육 연구의 동향 (Overview on Research Trend in the Journal of Korean Elementary Science Education)

  • The Journal of Korean Elementary Science Education has been developed in both quantitative and qualitative aspects during twenty years since first published year 1983. This study was intended to survey the research trend of the journals, which has been published so far. It will give an orientation of science education research and suggestions towards research to improve science education. The 243 articles of the journals, which were published from 1983 to 2002 by Korean Elementary Science Education Society, were classified into 7 categories including science teaching, science learning, assessment in science, science teacher education, science curriculum, educational facilities & materials, and general science education. The results are as follows: 1. The articles published last decade are increased four times compared with the first decade. 2. The half of articles published so far concentrated on science teaching and learning. The articles on educational facilities & materials or general science education are few. 3. During the last decade, the articles on science teacher education, educational facilities & materials, assessment in science, and science learning relatively increased than the first decade. The number of articles on science curriculum was fluctuated every five years. 4. Most of articles were focused on the narrow subject areas. For example, the articles on science teaching, science learning, assessment in science, science teacher education, science curriculum, and educational facilities & materials were largely focused on the teaching strategies, pupils' conception, affective assessment and teaching practice survey, teachers' appreciation about the nature of science or instruction, analysis of science textbooks, development of the experimental materials or the audiovisual aids respectively. 5. The subject areas highlighted so far in science education, for example, inquiry or experimental activities, STS instruction, environmental education, gifted education, instruction with multimedia, problem-solving or reasoning, experimental skill assessment, etc. were not much researched.

중학교 과학 교과서의 범주별 분석 비교 (Comparative Analysis of Current Science Textbooks on Category)

  • ln this study, we analyzed 5 science textbooks currently used for the 7th graders quantitatively by using the science textbook rating system of Collette and Chiappetta(1986), making meta-analysis of the results of 17 graduate school students of Seoul National University. The rating system consists of 11 categories with detailed items respectively : content, organization, reading level, instruction approach, illustrations, end-chapter teaching aids, laboratory activities in text and/or accompanying manual, teacher aids, indices and glossaries and mechanical makeup of text. Each item in the checklist is to be given between one and five points and the total number of possible points in this rating system is 290. It was shown that 5 science textbooks currently used for 7th-year-students were all "poor" in terms of total points and had, at large, uniformed results especially in 10 items; 7 items concerning moral and ethical implications of science, vocabulary lists, accompanying laboratory manual, annotated editions for test, supply list for laboratory program, student workbook and glossary with low points, while 3 items concerning facilities needed for laboratory activities, activities relevant to the content and textbook size with high points. A Science teachers could get a broad view with a correct impression of the books usefulness in making an evaluation of available textbooks.

  • HIV/AIDS disease still remain a global pandemic and it's management has undergone series of treatment changes and improvement although there is still no permanent cure.Dolutegravir belongs to a group of HIV drugs called integrase inhibitors. Integrase inhibitors block an HIV enzyme called integrase. By blocking integrase, integrase inhibitors prevent HIV from multiplying and can reduce the amount of HIV in the body.Dolutegravir combination based regimen has turned out to be very effective (antiviral) with negligible rare side effects on clients. This drug (Dolutegravir based regimen) combination has successfully increased the appetite for food of all the clients, unlike others and has shown to reduce viral load in the most shortest period ever. It can be deduced that development of resistant mutant virus will be reduced if not eliminated with dolutogravir based regimen.The role of Continuous adherence counseling has shown to improve clients treatment management. It is important to note that the availability of food has direct effect on the economic status or financial weight on the client. Hence the progress that is increase in body mass index (BMI) is a direct impact of the availability of food for the clients.

초등수학 문제해결 활동에서 나타나는 아동 간 스캐폴딩 과정 분석 (An Analysis of the Children's Scaffolding Processes in Mathematical Problem Solving)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 아동들의 수학문제해결 과정에서 나타나는 아동 간 스캐폴딩 과정을 분석하는 것이다. 연구의 참여자들은 3개 그룹 4학년 6명의 초등학생들을 대상으로 연구는 8월부터 12월까지 5개월간 심층적인 관찰과 인터뷰를 통하여 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 첫째, 아동 간 스캐폴딩 과정에서는 교사와 같은 성인의 개입이 없는 경우 자유롭고 다양한 스캐폴딩의 형태가 관찰되었다. 둘째, 스캐폴딩 과정의 흐름은 조건, 현상, 작용/상호작용, 결과로 나타났다. 셋째, 인지적 도움은 정서적 도움이 순차적이고 독립적으로 일어나는 것이 아니라 통합적으로 일어났다. 교사들은 이 스캐폴딩의 과정에 대한 분석과 의미 도출로 학습자들의 보다 의미 있는 수학학습을 도울 수 있다.

  • 대부분의 로봇 학습도구가 성적 및 사교육능력이 우수한 집단 학생들의 창의성교구로 사용되고 있으며 아직, 재량활동시간 등의 정규교과 수업에 접목하여 사용되고 있지 않다. 본 연구는 비교적 저렴한 라인트레이서를 교구로 사용하여 학업성취도가 평균 이하인 초등학생 5학년들이 정규교과목과 연계하여 로봇학습을 할 수 있도록 12차시 분량의 교육과정과 교재를 개발하였다. 최적성을 확인하기 위해 학업성취 수준이 학년 평균 이하의 학생들을 대상으로 학습시킨 후 평가하였다. 각 차시별 학습결과를 산출물 중심으로 성취수준을 평가한 결과로 학업성취도가 낮은 학생들이 대부분의 교육과정 내용을 충분히 이해하는 수준으로 평가되었으며 본 연구에서의 실행경험을 통해 학업성적이 비교적 낮은 초등학생들이 정규교과 과정과 연계한 로봇교육 성공 가능성을 확인하였다.

지리과에서의 환경교육에 관한 연구 - 고등학교를 중심으로 - (A Study on The Environmental Unit of Geography Curriculum - Centering in High School)

  • On the border between the Geography subject and the Science subject, much of the content area is found to be interrelated or shared in common due to the characteristics of each subject. This possibly causes a problem of which of the two subjects should treat these overlapping areas with more responsibility and importance, and, as a result, might cause teachers to neglect the areas and result in insufficient treatment of the areas on both sides. In other words, these overlapping area can be overlooked on both subjects. On the other hand, as the science subject treats these areas more deeply and widely in both quantity and quality, the geography subject might lose its original content area to the science subject and accordingly lose its characteristics as an independent subject. To conclude, the following suggestions must be taken into consideration when we develop and organize the environment-related unit in the geography subject. First, the various real cases damaged by pollution, the efforts and steps to avoid being polluted, the inquiry questions and activities to set up the value of the environment conservation, and sufficient assistant materials such as maps, graphs, photos, illustrations, statistics, which will help to realize the environment problem more directly and clearly, must be presented in the textbooks. Second, as the environment education is not just teaching the environmental pollution, the content should be composed for the students to realize the value of the environment and to change their awareness and attitude toward the environment. Third, the environment education cannot be restricted to a certain subject, or it needs to be approached in multi-subject areas. To exercise a effective environment education while we maintain the unique characteristics of the geography subject, a way to link the environment and the region, which is one of the main concepts of geography, should be developed. Finally, textbooks are indispensible materials to teaching-learning, but for more effective teaching the teachers of geography should try to recompose and reorganize the content and to develop newer and more effective teaching material-aids.
