과제지향적순환훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 운동기능, 일상생활동작 및 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 : 사례연구 (Effects of Group Task-Oriented Circuit Training on Motor Function, ADLs and Quality of Life in Individuals with Chronic Stroke: A Case Study)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 만성뇌졸중 환자에게 운동학습이론을 기초한 물리치료와 작업치료를 병행한 집단 과제지향적 순환훈련 프로그램을 실시하여 운동기능, 일상생활동작과 삶의 질적인 변화를 알아보고자 하였다. 6명의 만성 뇌졸중 환자에게 31주간 실시하였다. Chedoke-McMaster 뇌졸중평가, 균형검사, 일상생활활동 운동 처리기술 평가(Assessment of Motor and Process Skills: AMPS)와 뇌졸중 영향척도 측정을 치료 전과 후에 수집하였다. 연구결과, 운동기능 손상영역, 균형과 뇌졸중 영향척도의 기분과 정서영역에서 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었다. 일상생활활동 운동 처리기술 평가는 운동(motor)영역에서 6명 중 3명에게 처리(process)영역은 4명에서 훈련 후 향상되었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 집단 과제지향적 순환훈련은 지역사회 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 신체적 기능 향상에 이점이 있다고 제언하는 바이다.

Effect of Task-Oriented Bilateral Movements on Arm Global Synkinesis and Activities of Daily Living in Patients with Stroke

  • Background: Stroke patients exhibit arm global synkinesis (GS), involuntary movement due to muscle weakness and irregular muscle tension. But currently there are few studies examined the effects of GS on activates of daily living in stroke patients. Objectives: To investigate the effects the effects of task-oriented bilateral movements, which promote brain plasticity and are based on neurological theory, using the unaffected arm and the affected arm. Design: Quasi-randomized trial. Methods: Twenty stroke patients were randomly assigned to experimental group I (n=10) and experimental group II (n=10). Before the intervention, arm GS was measured using surface electromyography, and the Motor Activity Log evaluated the quantitative and qualitative uses of the affected arm in daily life. The same items were measured four weeks later. Results: The changes in the GS of the arm of experimental group I showed statistically significant differences only in bending motions (P<.05). Both groups showed statistically significant differences in the amount of use (AOU) and the quality of movement (QOM) scores (P<.01). Comparing the groups, statistically significant differences in GS appeared during bending motions (P<.05), and in the AOU (P<.01) and the QOM scores (P<.05). Conclusion: The intervention in GS reduced the abnormal muscle tension of the affected side by increasing the use of the ipsilateral motor pathway, indicating its effectiveness in improving upper limb functions with smooth contraction and relaxation of the muscles.

  • 교통시스템 및 차량의 인간-기계 상호작용 및 인간공학적 평가에 널리 사용되는 운전자의 시각행위분석, 생체신호측정(심박수, 호흡수, 뇌파, 피부전기반사 등), 부가작업의 수행도분석, 반응시간 분석, 차량조작변수 분석(속도, 핸들조작, 가속페달조작) 등의 방법들과 함께 운전자 판단에 의한 주관적평가(Subjective Mental Workload Assessment)는 기존 시스템의 평가뿐만 아니라, ITS(Intelligent Transport Systems) 기반 인간-기계 시스템(항법장치, Head-UP Display, AHS Flat Panel Display, Changeable Message Sign, Cellular Phone, 등)의 인간-기계 상호작용 평가, 안전도 평가, 경쟁시스템 및 디자인 대안의 의사결정, 설계가이드라인 제작 등을 위한 하나의 표준화된 평가도구로 자리 잡고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 가장 많은 적용빈도와 효과 및 감도를 제시하는 주관적 평가방법인 NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration-Task Load Index), SWAT(Subjective Workload Assessment Technique), MCH(Modified Cooper-Harper) scale, RNASA-TLX(Revision of NASA-TLX)를 대상으로 항법 장치를 사용한 운전자 부하 비교평가 실험결과를 이용하여, 제시된 방법들의 감도 및 피 실험자의 주관적 판단을 통한 상호 비교분석을 실시하였으며, 결과로 위에 제시된 방법들의 사용가이드라인과 ITS 기반 인간-기계 시스템의 인간공학적 평가를 위한 주관적 평가방법의 비교평가결과를 제시하였다.

Hybrid Shop Floor Control System for Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM)

  • A shop floor can be considered as an important level to develop Computer Integrated Manufacturing system (CIMs). However, a shop floor is a dynamic environment where unexpected events continuously occur, and impose changes to the planned activities. To deal with this problem, a shop floor should adopt an appropriate control system that is responsible for the coordination and control of the manufacturing physical flow and information flow. In this paper, a hybrid control system is described with a shop floor activity methodology called Multi-Layered Task Initiation Diagram (MTD). The architecture of the control model contains three levels: i.e., he shop floor controller (SFC), the intelligent agent controller (IAC) and the equipment controller (EC). The methodology behind the development of the control system is an intelligent multi-agent paradigm that enables the shop floor control system to be an independent, an autonomous, and distributed system, and to achieve an adaptability to change of the manufacturing environment.

  • An SADT-based methodology is presented for systematically analyzing the container working process in container terminal, as well as an object-oriented design method for an integrated information system for container terminal resource planning and management. Our design architecture is composed of four levels, activity interface, activity PDCA control, human resource management, and facility resource management. Especially, the consideration of the human resource management level makes it possible to support cooperative tasks, to make the authority and responsibility on a task clear, and to extremely promote the balance between human and facility resources. Finally, The system architecture is suggested for Virtual Container Terminal, in which a planned container working process is simulated for previous feasibility check, work orders are transferred to control real devices, and to manage the entire process and related data.

기술.가정과 '정보통신기술의 활용' 단원에서 문제 해결 과제 중심 수업이 개념 이해와 학습 태도에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Problem Solving with Task-based Activities On Understanding of Major concepts and Learning attitude in 'Applications of Information and Communication Technology' Subject in Technology.Home Economics)

  • 이 연구는 기술 가정과 '정보통신기술의 활용'단원에서 문제 해결 과제중심 수업이 주요 개념의 이해 정도와 학습 태도에 미치는 효과를 밝히는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 4차시에 해당하는 '정보통신기술의 활용'단원을 실험집단에게는 문제 해결 과제 중심 수업으로 진행하고 통제집단에게는 강의식 수업으로 진행하였다. 서울특별시 소재 중학교 2학년 2개 학급 각 68명으로 구성된 실험집단과 통제집단에 대해 개념의 이해 정도와 학습 태도를 실험한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정보통신에 대한 개념 이해 정도를 알아본 실험에서는 사전장사에서 두 집단 사이에 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았으나 사후검사에서는 문제 해결 과제 중심 수업을 한 실험집단이 강의식 수업을 한 통제 집단보다 평균 5.87점 높게 나타났다. 아울러 p< .05 수준에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 정보 통신에 대한 개념을 4개의 하위 영역으로 구분하였음 때, 통신의 원리와 방식, 네트워크의 연결에 대한 개념 이해에 관한 2개 영역의 검사에서는 두 집단 사이에 p< .05 수준에서 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았으나 나머지 2개 영역인 정보의 표현과 유형, 통신 네트워크의 구성과 종류에 관한 개념 이해 검사에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 학습태도에 관한 실험에서는 문제 해결 과제 중심 수업을 적용한 실험집단이 강의식 수업을 적용한 통제집단보다 학습태도가 더 바람직하게 변화되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 '정보통신기술의 활용'단원에서 문제 해결 과제중심 수업이 강의식 수업에 비해 주요 개념의 이해 정도와 학습 태도를 보다 긍정적으로 향상시킴을 보여준다.

유비쿼터스 의료환경에서 순환식 과제 지향적 훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 상지 기능과 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Task-Oriented Circuit Training on The Upper Extremity Function and Quality of Life in Chronic Stroke Patients)

  • 본 연구는 순환식 과제 지향적 집단훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 상지 기능과 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 경기도 부천 소재의 H 병원에 입원한 20명의 만성 뇌졸중 환자를 대상으로 실시하였다. 중재 전과 후 상지 기능과 삶의 질을 평가하기 위해 뇌졸중 기능회복 평가, 운동 활동 지표, 뇌졸중 영향 척도, 캐나다 작업 수행 평가, EQ-5D를 사용하였다. 대상자들을 무작위 할당하여 순환식 과제 지향적 집단훈련을 시행한 실험군 10명과 보존적 작업치료를 시행한 대조군 10명으로 할당하였다. 중재 후, 두 그룹 모두 상지 기능의 향상을 보였으며, 중재 전과 후 운동 활동 지표, EQ-5D 평균 변화량 비교에서 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<.05). 캐나다 작업 수행 평가 결과 다림질하기, 빨래 널기, 수건 접기 활동이 대조군에 비해 실험군이 수행도, 만족도의 향상을 보였다. 순환식 과제 지향적 집단훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 상지 기능과 삶의 질 향상에 효과가 있었으며, 이러한 연구 결과는 순환식 과제 지향적 집단훈련을 만성 뇌졸중 환자에게 임상적 중재로 활용하는 근거가 될 수 있다.

The Effects of Treadmill Obstacle-Stepping on Physical Activity in Ambulatory Patients After Stroke

  • Previous studies have investigated stepping over obstacles in treadmill walking training (TWT-OS) and treadmill walking training (TWT) alone for walking capacity not considering real physical activity. As such, we investigated the effects of TWT-OS on physical activity and changes in different levels of physical activity based on community ambulation in stroke patients. Thirty subjects were randomly assigned to either the experimental group or the control group, with 15 and 15 subjects, respectively. However, one subject from the control group was excluded because of inadequate treatment sessions. All subjects underwent routine physical therapy in the form of treadmill walking. The subjects in the experimental group underwent simultaneous training in obstacle-stepping while walking on the treadmill for 30 min/day, five times/week, for four weeks. Subjects were given a three-axis accelerometer to wear at the hip on a belt for one-week pre- and post-training physical activity. Step counts for seven days, average daily step counts, and the average of minutes spent in sedentary, light, and above moderate activity were chosen as outcome measures of physical activity. No significant differences between the groups were found in terms of step counts for seven days, average daily activity, or daily activity spent at sedentary levels after four-week interventions. However, the average daily activity spent at light levels (-42.60 min vs. -6.71 min) was significantly lower in the experimental group than in the controls. Conversely, average daily activity spent at above moderate levels was higher (19.86 min vs. 11.07 min) (p<.05) after adjusting for each baseline value. Significant pre- and post-training differences were found in all variables of the experimental group (p<.05). Thus, TWT-OS could improve physical levels above moderate activity as a community-oriented task more than simple repetitive waking on a treadmill, and it could provide an opportunity for patients ambulatory after stroke to participate in the community again.

필리핀 학교교육의 실태와 특징: 산베다 학교교육을 중심으로 (A Study on the Situation and Trait of the Philippines School Education)

  • Nowaday our school education have been undergone decisive influences by the entrance and examination-oriented education system. To enter universities which belong to top classes in Korean society could be look upon the important success of school education, and it could be equaled to the quality of competent teacher(teacher's professionalism). However, the creativity and knowledge composition ability in the school education will be considered seriously in the coming of 21st century knowledge, information-oriented and globalization society. In this situation, we try to trace about the system and style of foreign school education which is unfamiliar to us, spontaneously we should explore the educational implication which affects to our school education. In this paper, we have reviewed about the present condition and the current situation of Philippines school education(San Beda College Alabang and Rizal Campus). Of course, we tried to observe the practical education activities including a curriculum, teacher, teaching and studying method and student activity. Through this trial, we tried to suggest the effective environment and methodology for the improvement in quality of our school education. Philippines school education 1) could be achieved educational ideas and goals based on the spirit of school establishment, 2) could be gained teacher's professionalism through the system of Coordinator and Prefect, 3) could be conducted learner-centered lessons by the learning method of exploration, discussion, task-resolving, 4) was able to created a pleasant school education through the development and application of a variety of educational programs.

Global Coupled 모델 2와 3.1의 MJO 모의성능 평가 (Assessment of MJO Simulation with Global Coupled Model 2 and 3.1)

  • A large number of MJO skill metrics and process-oriented MJO simulation metrics have been developed by previous studies including the MJO Working Group and Task Force. To assess models' successes and shortcomings in the MJO simulation, a standardized set of diagnostics with the additional set of dynamics-oriented diagnostics are applied. The Global Coupled (GC) model developed for the operation of the climate prediction system is used with the comparison between the GC2 and GC3.1. Two GC models successfully capture three-dimensional dynamic and thermodynamic structure as well as coherent eastward propagation from the reference regions of the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific. The low-level moisture convergence (LLMC) ahead of the MJO deep convection, the low-level westerly and easterly associated with the coupled Rossby-Kelvin wave and the upper-level divergence are simulated successfully. The GC3.1 model simulates a better three-dimensional structure of MJO and thus reproduces more realistic eastward propagation. In GC2, the MJO convection following the LLMC near and east of the Maritime Continent is much weaker than observation and has an asymmetric distribution of both low and upper-level circulation anomalies. The common shortcomings of GC2 and GC3.1 are revealed in the shorter MJO periods and relatively weak LLMC as well as convective activity over the western Indian Ocean.
