IPTV contents are based on MPEG2-TS(Moving Picture Expert Group-2 Transport Stream). The Created content is delivered to each home's Set-Top box through the Internet service network, which will be visible on television through the decoding process. The using and spending of content expanding were quite limited in the other existing lines' devices. For this end, provided methods are to convert MPEG2-TS to other format and then transmit it. These methods are causing not only an overload to the system but also its increasing the hardware resource requirements. In this paper, the MPEG2-TS of IPTV's content using RTP(Real time Transport Protocol) provided by the applicable variety of devices and environmental system, was designed and implemented. Through this paper, the existing MPEG2-TS is providing other devices for distribution and consumption that can give better content to the consumers which means that the QoS(Quality of Service) was enhanced. And, the increased consumption and use of content will help the IPTV business to get more development and activation.

In this paper, we propose the extension of the MPEG-2 Transport Stream (TS) header for efficient adaptation of multi-layer coded video such as scalable video coding (SVC) and multiview video coding (MVC) in the HTTP streaming. First of all, the limit of the existing TS in terms of flexible adaptation of multi-layer video is investigated, and the signaling by extending TS header is proposed to provide efficient adaptation in a TS level. The proposed extension utilizes the private data field in the adaptation field of TS header to signal scalability and/or view information, which enable us to support diverse adaptation that suits underlying constraints of client capabilities, network conditions and user preferences. In short, the extension enables adaptation of scalable video with full scalability as well as view selection of multiview video in a TS level while keeping backward compatibility with the existing TS syntax/semantics. The performance of the proposed extension is compared with the existing adaptation using PID (packet ID) in terms of efficiency and complexity of adaptation. Furthermore, the increase of TS overhead caused by proposed extension is analyzed and an extension scheme to minimized the overhead is proposed.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to estimate the antioxidant activity of water extract of Nelumbinis stamen (WNS) in GC-2 spd (ts) cells. Methods : we investigated the effect of WNS in mouse GC-2 spd (ts) cells by MTT assay. The protective effects of WNS against hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress in GC-2 spd (ts) cells were examined by measuring cell viability. Lipid peroxidation levels and catalase were measured. Results : WNS showed cell viability as 101.9, 108.9, 111.8, 125.8, 134.5% in 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 50 ${\mu}g/ml$ concentrations, respectively. The protective effect of WNS concentration was 2.5 ${\mu}g/ml$ against hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress in GC-2 spd (ts) cells. LPO were decreased significantly at 2.5, 5, 25 ${\mu}g/ml$ of WNS concentrations. Catalase activity was significantly increased at 2.5, 5 and 10 ${\mu}g/ml$ of WNS concentrations, respectively. Conclusions : In conclusion, WNS has antioxidant activities in GC-2 spd(ts) cells against oxidative stress.

Purpose: The main target of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) is thymidylate synthase (TS). A high TS expression has been identified as promoting resistance to 5-FU. For colorectal cancers, the response to 5-FU based adjuvant chemotherapy is different according to the microsatellite instability (MSI) status. The reports on the relationship between MSI and the TS expression in colorectal cancer have been inconsistent. No data is available for gastric cancer regarding the relationship between MSI and the TS expression. Therefore, we studied the relationship between MSI and the TS expression in gastric cancer. Materials and Methods: Ninety-nine consecutive patients who underwent radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer from January 2004 to May 2006 at Bundang CHA hospital were studied. MSI was assessed for five markers (BAT25, BAT26, D2S123, D5S346, and D17S250) by PCR and with using an ABI prism 3100 Genetic analyzer. The TS expression was analyzed by immunohistochemistry with using mouse anti-thymidylate synthase monoclonal antibody to the TS 106 clone. Results: Out of the ninety-nine patients, MSS/MSI-L was detected in 92 (92.1%) cases and 7 cases (7.1%) were MSI-H. A negative TS expression was found in 46 (46.5%) cases, a low TS expression was found in 33 (33.3%) and a high TS expression was found in 20 (20.2%). Out of 92 MSS/MSI-L patients, the number of patients with negative, low and high TS expressions were 46 (50%), 30 (32.6%) and 16 (17.4%), respectively. Out of the 7 MSI-H patients, the number of patients with negative, low and high TS expressions were 0 (0%), 3 (42.9%) and 4 (57.1%), respectively. The relationship between MSI-H and a high TS expression was statistically significant. Conclusion: Gastric cancer with MSI-H showed higher levels of a TS expression compared to the gastric cancer with MSS/MSI-L.

Bacillus sphaericus was mutagenized with UV light irradiation and dimethyl sulfate. Thirty-five conditional lethal temperature-sensitive(ts) mutants were isolated at the nonpermissive temperature of $42^{\circ}C$ and classified into three groups by their growth characteristics on the nutrient broth, peptone glucose yeast extract agar and mineral salts agar. First was the lethal ts group, 24 mutants, which did not grow at the nonpermissive temperature, the second, 9 mutants, was the less growth is group whose growth was restricted to one-half, and the third, 2 mutants, was the cold lethal ts group whose growth was restricted at the permissive temperature($25^{\circ}C$and $30^{\circ}C$)

Catalytic activity such as conversion and selectivity on the phenol hydroxylation over TS-1 prepared by hydrothermal method and microwave heating method, respectively, was compared and discussed for understanding the dependence of solvent such as water, methanol, acetone, respectively, during phenol hydroxylation, with hydrogen peroxide. Basic physical properties such as XRD, EDS, SEM and $N_{2}$ adsorption/desorption were determined and compared. The relationship between catalytic activity and physical properties of TS-1 was explained.

Black rockfish and goldeye rockfish are commercially important fish species due to the increasing demand in Korea. When estimating the abundance of stocks for these species acoustically, it is of crucial importance to know the target strength(TS) to length dependence. In relation to these needs, TS measurement was conducted on black rockfish and goldeye rockfish in an acrylic salt water tank using 70kHz and 120kHz split beam echo sounders. The TS for these two species under the controlled condition was simultaneously measured with the swimming movement by DVR system and analyzed as a function of fish length(L). The results obtained are summarized as follows: The best fit regression of TS on fish length of black rockfish was TS=19.38 Log(L, cm)-70.46 ($r^2=0.71$) at 70kHz and TS=22.39 Log(L, cm)-70.40 ($r^2=0.64$) at 120kHz and in the standard form TS=20 Log(L, cm)-71.29 ($r^2 = 0.70$) at 70kHz and TS=20 Log(L, cm)-66.88 ($r^2=0.57$) at 120kHz. The best fit regression of TS on fish length of goldeye rockfish was TS=17.10 Log(L, cm)-68.28 ($r^2=0.37$) at 70kHz and TS=24.39 Log(L, cm)-73.74 ($r^2=0.59$) at 120kHz and in the standard form TS=20 Log(L, cm)-72.03 ($r^2=0.32$) at 70kHz and TS=20 Log(L, cm)-67.68 ($r^2=0.64$) at 120kHz. An empirical model for fish TS(dB) averaged over the dorsal aspect of 115 fishes of black rockfish and goldeye rockfish and which spans the fish length(L, m) to wavelength($\lambda$, m) ratio between 8 and 30 was derived : TS=34.12 Log(L)-14.12 Log($\lambda$)-23.83, ($r^2=0.90$).

MPEG-4 is a digital bit stream format and associated protocols for representing multimedia content consisting of natural and synthetic audio, video and object data. This paper describes an application where multiple audio/visual data stream are combined in MPEG-4 and transported via MPTG-2 transport streams(TS). Also, this paper describes how to convert MPEG-4 Over MPEG-2 TS bit streams into MP4 file which Is designed to contain the media information of an MPEG-4 presentation in a flexible, extensible format. MPEG-4 is presented in the form of audio-visual objects that are arranged into an audio-visual scene by means of a scene descriptor and is composed of the audio-visual objects by means of an object descriptor. These descriptor streams are not defined MPEG-2 TS. So. this paper focuses on handling of these descriptors and parsing TS streams to get MPEG-4 data. The MPEG-4 Over MPEG-2 TS to MP4 format converter is implemented in the demonstrated systems.

Cuttlefish Sepia esculenta are commercially important in Korea. Assessments of their biomass currently depend on fishery-landings data, which may be biased. Towards fishery-independent acoustic surveys of cuttlefish, target strength (TS) measurements at 70 and 120 kHz were made of 23 live cuttlefish, in early May 2010. The fish were caught by traps in the inshore waters around Geojedo, Korea. The TS were measured using split-beam echosounders (Simrad ES60 and EY500, respectively). The cuttlefish mantle lengths (L) ranged from 15.6 to 23.5 cm (mean L=17.8 cm) and their masses (W) ranged from 335 to 1020 g (mean W=556.1 g). Their mean TS values at 70 and 120 kHz were -33.01 dB (std=1.39 dB) and -31.76 dB (std=2.15 dB), respectively. The mean TS at 70 kHz was 0.17 dB higher than the TS-length relationship resulting from a least-squares fit to the data ($TS=24.67{\log}_{10}L(cm)-64.03$, $r^2$ = 0.52, N=23). The mean TS at 120 kHz was 0.45 dB higher than the fitted TS-length relationship ($TS=40.59{\log}_{10}L(cm)-82.96$, $r^2$ = 0.58, N=23). The differences between the mean TS values and an equation regressed from all of the TS measurements at both frequencies ($TS=24.92{\log}_{10}L(cm)-4.92{\log}_{10}{\lambda}(m)-22.82$, $r^2$ = 0.86, N=46) was 0.22 dB at 70 kHz and 0.31 dB at 120 kHz, respectively.

디지털 방송 서비스가 보편화되면서 MPEG-2, DVB 및 ATSC Transport Stream의 사용이 확산되고 있다. 수신된 방송 Transport Stream(TS)은 TS 그대로 이용하거나 Program Stream(PS)로 변환한 후 저장하여 이용한다. DVD같은 디지털 저장매체에는 PS가 사용되므로 디지털 방송을 수신하여 이를 DVD나 DVD-RAM과 같은 저장 매체에 저장하려면 TS를 저장용 Stream인 PS로 변환하여 저장하여야 DVD Player와 같은 매체 재생기에서 이를 이용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 TS를 PS로 변환하고 변환된 TS와 PS를 분석하여 얻어진 변환 및 변환 후의 여러 결과들을 비교 분석하여 보여준다.
