  • This paper introduces TRIZ. TRIZ is the theory of inventive problem solving which haws started by G.Altschuler since 1946, Russia. TRIZ is applicable for not only mechanical engineering, but also science, economic and pedagogy fields. Characteristics of some kind of softwares for TRIZ method are briefly reviewed Especially Catia with IMC TechOptimizer is studied in detail and it is expected to be applicable well for the Ocean Engineering fields, if applicably applied for IM-Principles, IM-Predictions and IM-Effects, even though it will need much efforts and time to study. As an application example of TRIZ, Self-expandable anchor which is pending for patent is presented briefly.

  • In this paper, the creation method of edutainment content among cultural content types was studied. Edutainment aimed to enhance the creative thinking power through the "TRIZ theory" as an element of fun and education for learners at the same time. In this study, the modified OSTM-TRIZ theory was used not only in the technical field but also in the general sector. I proposed a model in which creative thinking can be enhanced to solve problems by analyzing contradictions encountered in the process of presenting problems. Nonlinear digital storytelling in animated folktales can elicit sufficient curiosity from learners, and problem presentation, problem resolution and contradiction analysis using OTSM-TRIZ work as an educational system to develop learners' creativity.

  • TRIZ is innovative problem solving methodology. It can solve problems by systematical and convergent method, not by the existing divergent method like 'Brainstorming'. In this paper, TRIZ is used for reduction noise from gear in transmission. In order to reduce gear noise, design resources is derived first. According to the derived idea, level and function of system can be defined. After that, we suggest a way to reduce the noise from gear in transmission using 40 Principles and Substance-field analysis of TRIZ.

  • Axiomatic Design has been developed as a general design framework during past two decades and TRIZ has been developed for a design tool over 50 years. Axiomatic design is quite excellent in that the design should be decoupled. When a design matrix is established, the characteristics of the design are identified concerning the coupling properties. If the design is coupled, a decoupling process should be found. However, axiomatic design does not specifically indicate how to decouple. In this paper, a design method is developed to use TRIZ in the decoupling process. The decoupling ideas are extracted from the substance field analysis and various methods in TRIZ. The mettled is applied applied to the conceptual design of a beam splitter for the laser marker and the results are analyzed.

  • In this research, Many people understand that the (accidental) tip and the "analogy" that leads to it have played a central role in many instances of creative problem solving.And it has been pursued as a way to get more hints to make a 'knowledge base' which is a collection of many cases. The Unified Systematic Inventive Thinking (USIT), which makes it easier to apply TRIZ, will seek out various ideas through a process of analyzing the current system and examining the ideal system more clearly. In this paper, we describe the rationale and application procedure of the "6 step thinking method" which improves the "4 step thinking method".

  • 3D printer is the equipment of the system for sequentially layer laminated in the materials. Now 3D printer used in various fields such as, semiconductor, electricity automobile, medical and various types of output method and material. In this paper, we studied about the improvement on warpage due to shrinkage of product from 3D printer of FDM(Fused Deposition Modeling) type, we proposed measures systematically to solve warpage problem using of 6SC(6 Step Creativity) method of practical TRIZ. After experimented with product prototypes experiment, we verified effect about solution.

  • Creativity is a rising topic in the current society. The emphasis on creativity is valued as a key factor for success in all areas including but not limited to politics, economy, culture, arts and design. The field of Fashion design is probably one of the few areas that talk about creativity as a necessary quality to survive. The purpose of this study is to introduce TRIZ(Teoriya Reshniya Izobretatelsskikh Sadatch) as a theoretical tool to generate creativity in fashion design. TRIZ is a creative method of problem solving based on data analysis of outcomes invented by engineering. The fundamental concept of TRIZ has been researched through documentary studies, and practical case studies of product designs are used. Fashion design cases from Comme des Garcons by Rei Kawakubo are used to apply TRIZ in fashion design. Rei Kawakubo's design philosophy has been studied through fashion writings and visual sources in books, exhibition catalog, www. style. com and online shopping mall sites. This study has selected four principles among forty inventive theories of TRIZ: segmentation; asymmetry; consolidation; and preliminary action to apply to Rei Kawakubo's fashion design. As a result, TRIZ can be applicable to fashion design as a creative thinking methodology. By using the four principles of TRIZ, this study shows how Rei Kawakubo's design enhanced its efficiency and aesthetics of the products and was distinguished from existing items. It is meaningful to demonstrate a possibility of adopting engineering based creative methodology in fashion design to widen the perspective and to raise a question for the need of interdisciplinary creative methodology with traditional aesthetic approach in fashion design.

Effect of NFTM-TRIZ Model Based on Cooperative Learning on Creativity and Class Satisfaction (협동학습에 기반한 NFTM-TRIZ교수·학습모형 적용이 창의성과 수업만족도에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore ways to improve teaching and learning in specialized high schools by investigating the relationship between creativity and class satisfaction in classes using the NFTM-TRIZ model for specialized high school students. In order to achieve the purpose of the research, first, the differences between the applied effects, experiments, and control groups were analyzed when the NFTM-TRIZ model was applied. Second, when the NFTM-TRIZ model was applied, it was analyzed whether there was a significant difference in creativity and class satisfaction by group size. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, as a result of comparing the preand post-tests of the experimental group and the control group applying the NFTM-TRIZ model through the t-test, the experimental group showed significant differences in creative spontaneity, identity, attachment, curiosity and class satisfaction. Second, in experimental groups with the NFTM-TRIZ model, the size of groups of 4 and 6, rather than the size of groups of 2, had positive effects on class satisfaction. Therefore, the NFTM-TRIZ model based on collaborative learning was effective as a teaching and learning method that promoted creativity and satisfaction of students in specialized high schools.

  • This study is analyse method for Industrial disester prevention of E-9 foreign workers. To do this, We adapted tp TRIZ 's creative problem solving theory and AHP, QFD. TRIZ is determined some parameters for problem solving and selected the inventive principles for each parameters. So, We made new parameters and inventive principles under theory of the TRIZ process for reduced to the foreign worker's disaster rate. After, The derived parameters and the inventive principles are used to evaluate the importance of factors through the AHP, and determine the weight of the relation through QFD expansion. Finally. this paper applies statistical data according to the determined model process, analyzes the result and proposes improvement method for the prevention of disaster of foreign workers.

  • Korea's Corona 19(COVID-19) quarantine, referred to as 'K-Quarantine', is a globally recognized quarantine system that has achieved both conflicting goals: health and economy. The quarantine system represented by 3T(Test-Trace-Treat) is not a method of blocking an area, but a method of screening and treating infected and non-infected persons. The screening center, one of the key elements of this screening treatment system, has evolved to suit the timing and situation of COVID-19, and has succeeded in initial response by conducting large-scale tests quickly and safely. By analyzing the evolution of screening centers that produced such significant results from a problem-solving point of view, it proved its meaning as a practical success case of creative problem-solving. In addition, the usefulness of TRIZ (Russian abbreviation of Theory of Solving Inventive Problem), a creative problem-solving theory, was confirmed through an analysis of actual verified cases of COVID-19 response. TRIZ is a problem-solving theory created by analyzing the regularity of invention patents, and is widely used not only in the technical field but also in the non-technical fields such as design, management, and education. The results of this study are expected to provide useful meaning and practical examples to researchers interested in system analysis and TRIZ application from a problem-solving perspective.
