종합적품질경영(綜合的品質經營)(TQM)의 성공요인(成功要因)에 관한 연구(硏究) - 일본기업(日本企業)에 대한 AHP분석(分析)을 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on the Success Factors of TQM -Through the AHP Analysis of Japanese companies-)

  • Recently, from the viewpoint of TQM, the criticism and new approaches toward Japanese TQC have made much progress in Japan. It shows that these new approaches to quality are what are needed these days. In this connection, this paper aims at the study of a reform of Japanese TQC. This paper consists of the following two steps. First, several success factors of TQM in Japanese companies were selected through the study of literature. Second, actual approaches to or recognition of TQM in those companies were examined through the AHP analysis. The results of this paper are as follows: First, quality improvement and cost-down efforts within a factory have been emphasized. On the other hand, the development of strategic quality management is weak. Second, the development of creativity by individual autonomous teamwork is more needed than the development of creativity by group consciousness in companies. Third, the reform of upper-class management must be carried out by powerful leadership of top management.

  • In korea, since November 1982 these two small group activity (QC circle convension and Factory Saemaul activity small group convension) has been united, many problems have been disclosed that are aganist the basic principle more or less. Worker's small group within their working place to improve the surroundings creatively. In practice, however, many group are so typical and impetuous of the material effect that it is worried to be inclined to outform rather than contents. Effective small group activities are presumed to be successful only with labour management cooperation on the basis of human-orient management philosophy. The small group activities are also prevalent in service sector. More derivative methods have been developed and more members are willingly participation in training programs. The small group which is basically a horizontal organization unit, promptes communication within the whole organization, In consideration of social circumstances and traditions, the flexible model of the small group activities suitable to the corporate environment, will contribute to industrial development.

  • An important problem to be carried into a plan on the occasion for introduction of TQC is to establish the clear-cut policy and workable system on QC. In connection with escalation the product liability in recent days, especially, a point to he considered in relation the real state of enterprise, it seems likely to be difficult an effective performance without distribution of the definite duality function to each departments in the company, and to define the quality function, it should be educed and coordinated under agreement organization wide participation and conciliation. In this paper, we have tried to have a more effective graft the European style QC on the oriental enterprise, by means of presenting a model that manages synthetically a way of deployment the fundamental factors affecting quality, and establishing the control subject in each function unit.

4차산업혁명시대의 한국품질경영 제안 (Proposal of Korean Quality Management in the 4th Industrial Revolution)

  • Purpose: This paper proposes Korean Quality Management that is appropriate for the 4th Industrial Revolution era. Methods: The author reviewed Quality, TQC, CWQC, and TQM. In addition, the author surveyed the actual condition of quality with a particular focus on Korean SMEs. Several research papers were examined and the author proposed Korean Quality Management for the Korean industrial environment. Results: The author identified and outlined the definition, purpose, system and characteristics of Korean Quality Management specifically tailored to the Korean industrial environment. Conclusion: There is still work to demonstrate the effectiveness of applying Korean Quality Management to Korean SMEs. It is expected that continuous improvement of Korean Quality Management will help quality competitiveness in Korean SMEs.

작업관리기법의 활용실태에 관한 조사연구 (A study on the work study application in industry)

  • Study was made for the work study application in industry by sampling one thousand manufacturing companies. Small and medium industries are far behind in systematic application of the work study technique. Large industries are gradually introducing the work study technique systematically in line with the nation-wide quality control movement. Major sessions that the industries feel important in IE curriculum were QC, Work study and Cost accounting followed by the Organization theory, Industrial psychology, and Labor relations. Most of the industries were still less aware of the sophisticated fields such as OR, SE and Simulation. They put more emphasis on QC and TQC and as a result, work study should be closely bounded to TQC in order to systemize the work study application in the future.

  • 지난 해부터 현안으로 대두되었던 PL법이 가까스로 통과되어 '95년부터 점진적으로 시행되게 되었다. 또한, 품질관리시스템도 종래의 생산자중심적인 TQC에서 소비자등의 사용자 중심적인 ISO 9000시리즈형(TQM)으로 이행되고 있다. PL법과 TQM은 모두 소비자를 보호하여야 한다는 사회적 흐름을 배경으로 한 것이므로 앞으로 식품업계에서 품질유지라는 개념의 중요성이 더욱 증대될 것으로 생각된다.
