한반도 바람자원의 TMY(typical meteorological year)구축 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on an Algorithm for Typical Meteorological Year Generation for Wind Resource of the Korean Peninsula)

  • 본 연구는 한반도 바람자원 TMY(typical meteorological year)의 구축에 적절한 알고리즘을 제안하고, 이를 전국 77개 기상관측소에서 1998년~2008년 기간 동안 관측한 바람자료에 적용하여 TMY를 구축하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 Filkenstein-Shafer(FS) 통계모형 하에서 정의된 다양한 통계를 사용하여 연/원별 바람자료의 설명력 측도인 TMM(typical meteorological month)점수를 구하고, TMM점수에 기준하여 TMY를 구축하는 절차이다. 알고리즘은 두 단계 계산알고리즘으로 구성되었으며, 첫 단계는 각 관측소의 바람개황 그리고 둘째 단계는 한반도의 바람개황을 대표하는 TMY가 되도록 설계하였다. 11년 바람자료와의 비교분석, 경쟁모형에 의해 구축된 TRY(typical reference year)들과의 비교, 기상요소 추가에 따른 TMY의 영향평가 등 여러 종류의 비교 및 평가를 통하여 한반도 바람자원의 개황에 대한 TMY의 대표성과 효용성을 보였다.

  • The TMY (Typical Meteorological Year) for the solar energy study is generated using observation data with 22 solar sites from KMA (Korea Meteorological Administration) during 11 years (2000-2010). The meteorological data for calculation the TMY are used solar radiation, temperature, dew point temperature, wind speed and humidity data. And the TMY is calculated to apply the FS (Finkelstein and Schafer) statistics and RMSE (Root Mean Squared Error) methods. FS statistics performed with each point and each variable and then selected top five candidate TMM months with statistical analysis and normalization. Finally TMY is generated to select the highest TMM score with evaluation the average errors for the 22 whole points. The TMY data is represented average state and long time variations with 22 sites and meteorological data. When TMY validated with the 11-year daily solar radiation data, the correlation coefficient was about 0.40 and the highest value is 0.57 in April and the lowest value is 0.23 in May. Mean monthly solar radiation of TMY is 411.72 MJ which is 4 MJ higher than original data. Average correlation coefficient is 0.71, the lowest correlation is 0.43 in May and the highest correlation is 0.90 in January. Accumulated annual solar radiation by TMY have higher value in south coast and southwestern region and have relatively low in middle regions. And also, differences between TMY and 11-year mean of is distributed lower 100 MJ in Kyeongbuk, higher 200 MJ in Jeju and higher 125 MJ in Jeonbuk and Jeonnam, respectively.

  • To evaluate the building energy performance, many building simulation programs are used and its capabilities are developed. Despite of its increased capabilities the weather data used In the Building Energy performance evaluation, are still using the same limited set of data. This often forces users to find or calculate weather data such as illuminance, solar radiation, and ground temperature from other sources to calculate it. Also, proper selection of a right weather data set has been considered as one of important factors for a successful building energy simulation. In this paper, we describe TMY2 data, a generalized weather data format developed for use, and applied to Seoul region and examine the differences comparing to existing weather data. A set of 23 years raw weather data base has been developed to provide the weather data file for building energy analysis in Seoul.

주성분분석에 의한 TMY 특성 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis on the Characteristic of Typical Meteorological Year Applying Principal Component Analysis)

  • The reliable Typical Meteorological Year (TMY) data, sometimes called Test Reference Year (TRY) data, are necessary in the feasibility study of renewable energy installation as well as zero energy building. In Korea, there are available TMY data; TMY from Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER), TRY from the Korean Solar Energy Society (KSES) and TRY from Passive House Institute Korea (PHIKO). This study aims at examining their characteristics by using Principle Component Analysis (PCA) at six ground observing stations. First step is to investigate the annual averages of meteorological elements from TMY data and their standard deviations. Then, PCA is done to find which principle components are derived from different TMY data. Temperature and solar irradiance are determined as the main principle component of TMY data produced by KIER and KSES at all stations whereas TRY data from PHIKO does not show similar result from those by KIER and KSES.

New composite traits for joint improvement of milk and fertility trait in Holstein dairy cow

  • Objective: The objective of this study was to define a new composite trait for Holstein dairy cows and evaluate the possibility of joint improvement in milk and fertility traits. Methods: A data set consisting 35,882 fertility related records (days open [DO], calving interval [CI], and number of services per conception [NSC], and total milk yield in each lactation [TMY]) was collected from 1998 to 2016 in Polish Holstein-Friesian breed herds. In this study TMY, DO, CI, and lactation length of each cow was used to obtain composite milk and fertility traits (CMF). Results: Moderate heritability (0.15) was estimated for composite trait that was higher than heritability of female fertility related traits: DO 0.047, CI 0.042, and NSC 0.014, and slightly lower than heritability of TMY 0.19. Favourable genetic correlations (-0.87) were estimated between CMF with TMY. Spearman rank correlation coefficients between breeding value of CMF with DO, CI, and TMY were high (>0.94) but with NSC were moderate (0.64). Selection on CMF caused favourable correlated genetic gains for DO, CI, and TMY. Different selection indices with different emphasis on fertility and milk production were constructed. The amount of correlated genetic gains obtained for DO and total milk production according to selection in CMF were higher than of genetic gains obtained for DO and TMY in selection indices with different emphasis on milk and fertility. Conclusion: The animal selection only based on a composite trait - CMF proposed in current study would simultaneously lead to favourable genetic gains for both milk and fertility related traits. In this situation CMF introduced in current study can be used to overcome to limitations of selection index and CMF could be useful for countries that have problems in recording traits, especially functional traits.

Comparison of Mathematical Models Applied to F1 Dairy Sheep Lactations in Organic Farm and Environmental Factors Affecting Lactation Curve Parameter

  • The objective of this study was to compare the goodness of fit of four lactation curve models: Wood's Gamma model (WD), Wilmink (WL), and Pollott's multiplicative two (POL2) and three parameters (POL3) and to determine the environmental factors affecting the complete lactation curve of F1 dairy sheep under organic management. A total of 5,382 weekly milk yields records from 150 ewes, under organic management were used. Residual mean square (RMS), determination coefficients ($R^2$), and correlation (r) analysis were used as an indicator of goodness of fit for each model. WL model best fitted the lactation curves as indicated by the lower RMS values (0.019), followed by WD (0.023), POL2 (0.025) and POL3 (0.029). The four models provided total milk yield (TMY) estimations that were highly correlated (0.93 to 0.97) with observed TMY (89.9 kg). The four models under estimated peak yield (PY), whereas POL2 and POL3 gave nearer peak time lactation estimations. Ewes lambing in autumn had higher TMY and showed a typical curve shape. Higher TMY were recorded in second and third lambing. Season of lambing, number of lambing and type of lambing had a great influenced over TMY shaping the complete lactation curve of F1 dairy sheep. In general terms WL model showed the best fit to the F1 dairy sheep lactation curve under organic management.

니코틴 의존도에 따른 양생 실천 수준에 대한 조사 연구 (A Study on the Practice Level of Yangseng (Traditional Health Behavior) according to Nicotine Dependence)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the practice level of Yangseng according to nicotine dependence. Methods : The subjects of this study were 137 male smokers in their thirties and forties, who visited Wonmi Public Health Center. They were evaluated with Fagerstorm's test for nicotine dependence (FTND) and Tool in Measuring Yangseng (TMY). By FTND score, they were divided into three groups; the mild nicotine dependent group, moderate group and severe group. Results : In TMY score, there were statistically significant differences in the characteristics of Diet, Activity & Rest, Sleep and total score among the three groups. The value of FTND comparing the values of Mind, Diet, Activity & Rest, Sleep and total score in this study resulted in negative correlations, which showed statistical significance. Conclusions : The above results suggest that there are significant relations between nicotine dependence and the practice level of Yangseng. These results can be used for planning a smoking cessation program and a Yangseng health promotion program based on Korean traditional medicine.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the levels of Yangseng (Traditional Health Behavior), depression, anxiety, cognitive function between the elderly women living alone and the aged in the living with family. Methods: The subjects of this study were 137 elderly women aged between 65 and 80. They were evaluated with the Tool in Measuring Yangseng (TMY), Korean Geriatric Depression Scale (KGDS), State-Trait Anxiety Inntory (STAI) and Korean of the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMES-K). Depending on whether or not they lived alone, they were divided into two groups; group living alone (L.A.) and group living with family (L.F.). Results: In TMY score, there were statistically significant differences in characteristics of Mind, Diet, Sleep and total score between L.A. (63 persons) and L.F. (74 persons). Group living alone (L.A.) had significantly higher score in KGDS and STAI compared with other group (L.F.). The values of KGDS and STAI comparing to the values of Mind, Diet, Sleep, Exercise and total score in this study resulted in negative correlations which showed statistically significant. Conclusions: Above results suggest that between L.A. and L.F, there are significant difference in physical and mental health. TMY is enough to estimate health of the aged. These results can be used for Yangseng health promoting program based on Korean traditional medicine.

태양광 패널 일사량에 기반한 대표연도 데이터 비교 평가 (Comparative Assessment of Typical Year Dataset based on POA Irradiance)

  • The Typical Meteorological Year (TMY) dataset compiles 12 months of data that best represent long-term climate patterns, focusing on global horizontal irradiance and other weather-related variables. However, the irradiance measured on the plane of the array (POA) shows certain distinct distribution characteristics compared with the irradiance in the TMY dataset, and this may introduce some biases. Our research recalculated POA irradiance using both the Isotropic and DIRINT models, generating an updated dataset that was tailored to POA characteristics. Our analysis showed a 28% change in the selection of typical meteorological months, an 8% increase in average irradiance, and a 40% reduction in the range of irradiance values, thus indicating a significant shift in irradiance distribution patterns. This research aims to inform stakeholders about accurate use of TMY datasets in potential decision-making. These findings underscore the necessity of creating a typical dataset by using the time series of POA irradiance, which represents the orientation in which PV panels will be deployed.

파측정회로의 경로 활성화 지정에 과한 연구

  • 本 論文에서는 波測定回路(CUT)를 擬似-全體檢査할 때, 檢査重要度(TMY)가 높은 노드를 中心으로 P1에서 PO까지의 經路를 活性化하는 알고리즘을 提案한다. CUT의 TMY가 높은 노드들의 定義는 全體 노드들에 대한 檢査度(TY) 값을 原 데이터로 하는 母集團으로 取扱하고, 이를 t-分布에 有意水準:(1-a)域의 檢定을 통하여 TY의 信賴區間 推定에서 이루어졌다. 定義된 TMY가 높은 노드들을 中心으로 順方向과 逆方向의 論理게이트에 特異커버와 一致操作을 實行하므로 擬似-全體檢査 패턴이 容易하게 生成되었다. 그 結果, 擬似 全體檢査 패턴 數는 (1-a) 域이 0.1579에서 全體檢査에 비해 0.05%로 가장 적게 生成되었다. 그리고 (1-a) 域이 0.2368에서 特異 커버와 一致操作의 實行이 最適狀態였다. 이들 生成된 擬似-全體檢査 패턴을 回路의 入力과 內部 노드에 存在하는 缺陷 活性化 알고리즘의 技能的 檢査의 效用性을 確認하였다.
