  • In this paper, we develop protocol analyzer that can analyze and monitor LAN(Local Area Network)-based TCP/IP protocol using the OOP(object-oriented programming) in Windows98/NT environment. TCP/IP(Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) protocol analyzer is consist of interface hardware, protocol analysis software and GUI(Graphic User Interface). It is designed for the real-time analysis using the real-time object. In results of Performance test, TCP/IP Protocol analyzer is showed that it can analyze and monitor without frame error in LAN-based. Also, developed protocol analyser operates better than conventional protocol analyzer in performance. It can be used in maintenance fields of communication and network.

  • In this thesis, a method of solving the IP(Internet Protocol) address collision problem on the Web browser in the TCP/IP based on LAN(Local Area Network). These days a number of computers are increasing in geometrical progression, but general users who are not experts are lack of the knowledge about TCP/IP address, and they may use not only their own but also other users' TCP/IP addresses by mistake or intentionally. For the more they may use IP address which is the same as network equipments and then the situation will cause the whole network to be disturbed. As the result it may be happened that not only the original users' network but also the whole users' one do not operate properly in the LAN.

  • Recently ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) technology is facing challenges from Integrated Service IP(Internet Protocol), IP router, Gigabit Ethernet. Although ATM is approved by ITU-T as the standard technology in B-ISDN, its survival is still in question. In the ATM networks, the Guaranteed Frame Rate(GFR) service has been designed to accommodate non-real-time applications, such as TCP(Transmission Control Protocol)/IP based traffic. The GFR service not only guarantees a minimum throughput at the frame level, but also supports a fairshare of available resources. We have studied different discarding and scheduling schemes, and compared their throughput and fairness when TCP/IP Traffic is carried. Through simulations, we know that only per-VC queueing with weighted Round Robin(WRR) can guarantee Minimum Cell Rate Among all the Schemes that have been experimented, we recommend DT-EPD(Dynamic Threshold-Early Packet Discard) integrated with MCRplus(Minimum Cell Rate) to support the GFR service.

  • Currently possibility of the change of seal computer it increases geometrical progression and the general individuals the knowledge which is special regarding the ip are using the flow child blood which it Provides without from the isp enterprise. But most of the case peon of the school which uses the fixation child blood or the company because is not the knowledge against a TCP/IP address is not oneself at deliberation or real income and it will use the TCP/IP address of the different user and the network whole it will paralyze, the original user will not be able to use the network and it makes. With information where address information where the network administrator present time after data base anger one uses address information of the civil official objective personal computers and network systems of the watch inside in the dictionary is stored will be same from the dissertation which it sees hereupon and the web which it will yell it leads and packet it detects, the use of the TCP/IP address which goes wrong in the user and it notifies the method which is the possibility of closing the paralysis of the network system which it follows in the IP address fringe land due to a deliberation or a real income to sleep it presents it does.

  • In today's cyberworld, network performance is affected not only by an increased demand for legitimate content request, but also by an increase in malicious activity. In this Paper, we research that network performance was affected by an increase in malicious Hacker who make DoS Attack, DDoS Attack, SYN Flooding, IP Spoofing, etc. in using TCP/IP. We suggest that Packet filtering in Network Level, Gateway Level, Application Level against to Protect by Hacker's attack. Also, we suggest that content distribution in Web Server approaches to mitigate Hacker's activity using Cache Sever, Mirror Sever, CDN. These suggests are going to use useful Protection methode of Hacker's attack.

  • Performance of TCP can be severely degraded in Mobile IP-based wireless networks where packet losses not related to network congestion occur frequently during inter-subnetwork handoffs by user mobility. To solve such a problem in the networks using Mobile IP, the packet buffering method at a base station(BS) recovers those packets dropped during handoff by forwarding the buffered packets at the old BS to the mobile users. But, when the mobile user moves to a congested BS in a new foreign subnetwork, those buffered packets forwarded by the old BS are dropped and TCP transmission performance of a mobile user degrades severely. In this paper, we propose a Modified BLUE(MBLUE) buffer required at a BS to increase TCP throughput in Mobile IP-based networks. When a queue length exceed a threshold and congestion grows, MBLUE increases its packet drop probability. But, when a TCP connection is added at new BS by a handoff, the old BS marks the buffered packets. And new BS receives the marked packets without dropping. Simulation results show that MBLUE buffer reduces congestion during handoffs and increases TCP throughputs.

  • While Ethernet and TCP/IP are the most widely used protocol, for Real-time system, it is not applicable because it doesn't guarantee the deterministic transmission time. Furthermore, the TCP acknowledgement scheme and sliding window algorithm enforce to collide packets. Although various Collision-Free CSMA protocol was presented, it is very difficult to implement in well known OS(UNIX, WilidowsNT) because we have to modify network kernel. This paper presents another transmission protocol based on modified UDP. The colliding probability can be minimized by avoiding successive packet transmission and decreasing competition duration. The proposed algorithm can be used for the soft real-time industrial automation network.

  • We describe the MiniWeb[7] TCP/IP stack (mIP), which is an extremely small implementation of the TCP/IP protocol suite running 8 or 32-bit micro controllers intended for embedded control systems, and satisfying the subset of RFC1122 requirements needed for hostto-host interoperability over different platforms. Our TCP/IP implementation does sacrifice some of TCP's mechanisms such as fragmentation, urgent data, retransmission, or congestion control. Our implementation is applicable to web based controllers. The network protocols are tested in operational networks using CommView and Dummynet where the various operational parameters such as bandwidth, delay, and queue sizes can be set and controlled.

  • Stream Control Transmission Protocol(SCTP) is a new transport protocol that is known to provide improved performance than Transmission Control Protocol(TCP) in multi-homing environment that is having two and more IP addresses. But currently single-homed computer is used primarily that is having one IP address. To identify whether mean transfer time for SCTP is faster that for TCP in single-homed environment considering packet loss, we make up real testbed regulating the bandwidth, delay time and packet loss rate on router and observe the transfer time. We write server and client applications to measure SCTP and TCP mean transfer time by C language. Analysis of these experimental results from the testbed implementation shows that mean transfer time of SCTP is not better than performance of TCP in single homed environment exceptional case. Main reasons of performance are that SCTP compared to TCP stops transmitting data by timeout and data transmission is often delayed when SACK congestion happens. The result of study shows that elaborate performance tuning is required in developing a new SCTP module or using a implemented SCTP module.
