An experimental research is a useful approach for realizing autonomous mobile robots to work in real environment. We are developing an autonomous mobile robot platform named "Yamabico" as a tool for experimental real world robotics research. The architecture of Yamabico is based on the concept of centralized decision making and functionally modularization. Yamabico robot has two level structure with behavior and function levels, and its hardware and software are functionally distributed for providing incremental development and good maintenancibility. We are using many Yamabico robots in our laboratory to realize the robust navigation technology for autonomous robots. The methodology for experimental and task-oriented approach of mobile robotics will be presented. And some experimental results of real world navigation in indoor and outdoor environment will be shown. be shown.

본 논문의 연구방향은 객체지향방법론을 이용하여 PDM에서의 워크플로우를 재설계하는 것이다. 기존의 방법론들은 워크플로우 엔진과 작업자 사이의 흐름에 중점을 두었으나 본 논문에서는 프로세스와 작업에 중점을 두고 이를 각각의 객체로 설계하는 방안을 연구하고자 한다. 시스템의 설계를 위하여 Rumbaugh의 OMT(Object Modeling Technique) 방법론을 기본모델링 방법론으로 사용한다. 연구내용은 object model을 통한 정적 구조 설계, dynamic model을 이용한 시간에 따른 동적 구조 설계, 그리고 functional model에서의 데이터의 전이 및 시스템간의 연계의 설계이다. 특히 object model에서의 작업설계 및 dynamic model에서의 상태변화에 중점을 두고 DCOM(Distributed Component Object Model)을 사용하여 작업(task)을 중심으로 한 분산환경을 구현한다.

In the flood of information in the modern society, which is information-oriented society and knowledge engineering society, the transition to learner-centered education is demanded in order to perform the task in hand and solve the problems. In this study, it is considered a prerequisite that students get motivated and interested in Sajasohak to study it. Thus, in teaching Sajasohak in various ways, we intend to design web-based multimedia contents by using a variety of forms of multimedia and apply it to the field(real classroom).

We discuss the paper by Cho, Shin, Lee, and Han on the "information-relate" undergraduate statistics major program from the following perspectives: Recently, Korean universities are under re-structuring turmoil. To effectively confront the situation, we need both the vision and the strategy for statistics and statistics departments. For undergraduate statistics major program, our visions are 1) it should not be preliminary education program targeted for the graduate degrees, 2) it should be responsive to future social demand, and 3) it should incorporate the progressive identity of statistics as information and data science. As strategies, we propose 1) the effective integration and due balance among data collection, management and analysis, 2) the harmony and role development of computers and mathematics as statistical tools, 3) the statistics education through task-oriented problem solving, and 4) the emphasis of team work and communication skills.on skills.

Obtaining and fully understanding the true requirements of customers is hard task. However, successful use of quality function deployment(QFD) depends on capturing customers' requirements and reflecting them during the design of a product. One of common mistakes in QFD is to perform analysis using an inconsistent house of quality(HoQ) chart. This article presents a model for prioritizing customer attributes and design characteristics in order to make a product more attractive to customers. The proposed model modifies the analytic hierarchical process(AHP) with simple pairwise comparison. Our exploration using of QFD identifies how practitioners maintain consistency, whist quantifying HoQ speedily from the customer's perspectives. This paper also identifies and justifies an alternative position on QFD that is supported by statistical examples.

Unit testing which is the first task to perform software testing has a major impact on reducing s/w development cost and improving s/w quality. In order to make unit testing become the formal procedure rather than ad-hoc tasks performed by developer, the language-neutral measures are necessary in the programming which is able to specify the test cases. This paper presents a test assertion language for the language-neutral specification of the test cases. The suggested language is based on the ISO/IEC 24709-1, but it supports object oriented features and can describe test cases for unit testing. The test cases that are specified by the language can be used for generating test oracle source codes by test oracle generation tools.

Mastering a musical instrument for an unskilled beginning learner is not an easy task. It requires playing every note correctly and maintaining the tempo accurately. Any music comes in two forms, a music score and it rendition into an audio music. The proposed method of assisting beginning music players in both aspects employs two popular pattern recognition methods for audio-visual analysis; they are support vector machine (SVM) for music score recognition and hidden Markov model (HMM) for audio music performance tracking. With proper synchronization of the two results, the proposed music learning assistant system can give useful feedback to self-training beginners.

Detecting human in images is a challenging task owing to their variable appearance and the wide range of poses the they can adopt. The first need is a robust feature set that allows the human form to be discriminated cleanly, even in cluttered background under difficult illumination. A large number of vision application rely on matching keypoints across images. These days, the deployment of vision algorithms on smart phones and embedded device with low memory and computation complexity has even upped the ante: the goal is to make descriptors faster compute, more compact while remaining robust scale, rotation and noise. In this paper we focus on improving the speed of pedestrian(walking person) detection using Histogram of Oriented Gradient(HOG) descriptors provide excellent performance and tracking using kalman filter.

This article reviews the concepts of motor ability and motor skill and the models, theories, and treatment approaches of motor contorl. Reflex, hierarchical, and systems models of motor control are discussed. And muscle reeducation, neurodevelopment, motor relearning program, and contemporary task-oriented approach is also discussed. We consider that the concept of motor control is being changed and the treatment approach also is being changed. There are a number of reasons, the first is traditional trteatment approach has limitation. Second is theories of motor control is contineously developed. Third is new approach is coming to us. therefore, the therapists shoulder strive for acquisition of motor skill and motor ability. This article hope the successful integration of models and treatment approaches and its application in physical therapy practice.

The purpose of this study is to examine the emotional and behavioral characteristics of information seeking of university students in context in which a class assignment should be completed. An attempt was made to understand better individualized and selective behavior observed while seeking information in the commonly defined context. Data was collected from content analysis of self-reports by 54 university students majoring in library and information science. Major findings were analyzed in relation to the preception and feelings over, and barriers and strategies of seeking information, and the use of information resources.
