Seven New Records of Penicillium Species Belonging to Section Lanata-Divaricata in Korea

  • Penicillium species are known to be ubiquitous environmental saprophytes. In the survey of diversity of genus Penicillium, seven new records of Penicillium species belonging to section Lanata-Divaricata were isolated from freshwater and soil samples collected from different locations in Korea. Based on morphological characteristics and multilocus phylogenetic analysis of the rDNA internal transcribed spacer region (ITS), β-tubulin (BenA), and calmodulin (CaM) genes, the isolated strains were identified as P. annulatum, P. camponotum, P. echinulonalgiovense, P. globosum, P. limosum, P. onobense, and P. yunnanense, respectively. This study presents detailed phylogenetic analyses and morphological descriptions of these species that contribute to section Lanata-Divaricata in Korea.

Numerical method for biaxially loaded reinforced and prestressed concrete slender columns with arbitrary section

  • In this study, a numerical procedure based on the finite element method for materially and geometrically nonlinear analysis of reinforced and prestressed concrete slender columns with arbitrary section subjected to combined biaxial bending and axial load is developed. In order to overcome the low computer efficiency of the conventional section integration method in which the reinforced concrete section is divided into a large number of small areas, an efficient section integration method is used to determine the section tangent stiffness. In this method, the arbitrary shaped cross section is divided into several concrete trapezoids according to boundary vertices, and the contribution of each trapezoid to section stiffness is determined by integrating directly the trapezoid. The space frame flexural theory is utilized to derive the element tangent stiffness matrix. The nonlinear full-range member response is traced by an updated normal plane arc-length solution method. The analytical results agree well with the experimental ones.

유로만곡부의 횡방향 하상경사에 관한 연구 (A Study on Transverse Bed Slope in Channel Bends)

  • 평균수심을 고려하여 유도된 만곡부의 횡단면형은 횡방향 하상경사가 0.1보다 클 때 선형관계식은 내측안에서 0 혹은 부(-)수심을 갖고, 지수관계식은 횡단면의 외측안에서 과도한 수심을 갖게 되어 비정상적인 하상형을 나타내므로, 두 관계식을 이용하여 실제하천에 적용할 수 있는 식을 제시하기 위하여 외측안은 선형관계식을 내측안은 지수관계식을 적용하여 횡방향 하상형에 관한 새로운 식을 제시하였다. 또한 위상지체 및 폭-수심비의 영향을 고려한 횡방향 하상경사를 구할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제시하였다. 본 모형을 시용하여 실험실수로 및 자연수로부터 실측자료를 분석한 결과, 제시된 식에 의하여 계산된 값은 실측값과 비교적 잘 일치하였다.

Numerical studies on axially loaded doubler plate reinforced elliptical hollow section T-joints

  • This paper presents results of numerical studies completed on unreinforced and doubler plate reinforced Elliptical Hollow Section (EHS) T-joints subjected to axial compressive loading on the brace member. Non-linear finite element (FE) models were developed using the finite element code, ABAQUS. Available test data in literature was used to validate the FE models. Subsequently, a parametric study was carried out to investigate the effects of various geometrical parameters of main members and reinforcement plates on the ultimate capacity of reinforced EHS T-joints. The parametric study found that the reinforcing plate significantly increases the ultimate capacity of EHS T-joints up to twice the capacity of the corresponding unreinforced joint. The thickness and length of the reinforcing plate have a positive effect on the ultimate capacity of Type 1 joints. This study, however, found that the capacity of Type 1 orientation is not dependent on the brace-to-chord diameter ratio. As for type 2 orientations, the thickness and length of the reinforcement have a minimal effect on the ultimate capacity. A new design method is introduced to predict the capacity of the reinforced EHS T-joints Type 1 and 2 based on the multiple linear regression analyses.

T-DMB 국지적 자동재난경보방송 서비스를 위한 모바일 수신 모델 (Mobile Receiver Model for T-DMB Location Automatic Emergency Alert Service)

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 자동재난경보방송을 위하여 T-DMB 기반의 재난 정보 운영 방법과 이를 위한 T-DMB AEAS 수신 모델에 대하여 제안한다. 제안한 수신 모델에서는 T-DMB 방송 신호에 포함된 지리 정보와 DMB 신호를 전송하는 기지국의 위치 정보를 비교함으로써 현재 사용자 수신 지역을 재난지역, 인접지역 및 미경보지역으로 구문한 다음 각 지역에 따라 재난경보를 전송한다. 이 때 재난지역의 지리정보는 T-DMB 방송 신호 내에 FIG 5/2 EWS의 AEAS 메시지 내에서 얻어지며, DMB 기지국 위치 정보는 FIG 0/22의 TII 신호 내에 주 식별자와 보조 식별자의 위도 및 경도 정보와 TII 배분표를 이용하여 예측된다. 본 실험에서는 제안한 수신 모델을 화면부, 저장부, 방송 수신 모듈에 해당되는 DMB 모듈 및 제어부로 나누어 구현한 다음, T-DMB 신호발생기를 이용한 테스트 재난경보방송을 수행하였다.

거더 단면형상 변화에 따른 곡선교량의 지진 취약도 분석 (Seismic Fragility Analysis of Curved Bridge Structure by Girder Section Shape)

  • 연구목적 : 동일한 단면 2차 모멘트를 갖는 곡선 거더의 형상 변화에 따른 곡선 교량의 확률론적 안전성 평가인 지진 취약도 평가를 수행하고자 한다. 연구방법 : I, T, Box Shape 단면을 갖는 곡선 교량을 유한 요소 모델로 구축하였으며 경주 및 포항지진을 포함하여 24개의 입력지진을 적용하여 지진 취약도 평가를 수행하였다. 연구결과 : 거더의 응력에 대한 지진 취약도의 경우 T-Shpae 거더에서 가장 큰 파괴확률이 나타났으며 수평변위에 대한 지진 취약도의 경우 3개의 곡선 교량에서 비슷하게 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 : 3개의 곡선 교량에 대한 지진 취약도 분석을 수행하였으며 비틀림 저항이 가장 큰 Box-Shape 거더의 파괴확률이 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 추후 연구에서는 추가적인 매개변수를 고려하여 지진 취약도 평가를 수행하고자한다.

실험 저장조내의 유입구 형상변화에 따른 열 저장효율에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Thermal Storage Efficiency Through Variable Porous Mainfolds in a Test Storage Tank)

  • This paper dealt with thermal storage efficiency due to difference ($T_{\infty}-Ti$) between the mean temperature of water in the storage tank [$0.5m{\times}0.5m{\times}1.0m$] and the temperature of water flowing into the tank, flow rate of water flowing into the tank and shape of porous manifold which water flow into the tank through. As results of experiments; (1) When the flow rate was constant and the diameter of porous section decreased by 8mm, 6mm, and 4mm, the thermal storage efficiency increased. (2) When the diameter of porous section was constant and the difference ($T_{\infty}-Ti$) between the mean temperature of water in the storage tank and the temperature of water flowing into the tank increased by -30, -20, -10, 5, 10, 15 ($^{\circ}C$), the thermal storage efficiency increased. (3) When the($T_{\infty}-Ti$) was constant and the flow rate decreased by 0.8, 0.4, 0.25(LPM), the thermal storage efficiency increased. (4) When the shape of porous section was rigid, the thermal storage efficiency was the most effective, and with establishing flexible porous section or mesh, the effective thermal storage efficiency was obtained.

고충돌에너지 흡수용 알루미늄 크래쉬박스 개발 (Development of Al Crash Box for High Crashworthiness Enhancement)

  • Crash box is one of the most important automotive parts for crash energy absorption and is equipped at the front end of the front side member. The specific characteristics of aluminum alloys offer the possibility to design cost-effective lightweight structures with high stiffness and excellent crash energy absorption potential. This study deals with crashworthiness of aluminum crash box for an auto-body with the various types of cross section. For aluminum alloys, A17003-T7 and A17003-T5, the dynamic tensile test was carried out to apply for crash analysis at the range of strain from 0.003/sec to 200/sec. The crash analysis and the crash test were carried out for three cross sections of rectangle, hexagon and octagon. The analysis results show that the octagon cross section shape with A17003-T5 has higher crashworthiness than other cross section shapes. The effect of rib shapes in the cross section is important factor in crash analysis. Finally, new configuration of crash box with high crash energy absorption was suggested.

  • IoT 환경에서 서로 다른 사양을 갖는 기기 간 통신에서의 보안 취약성, 사용자의 프라이버시 데이터 유출, 인가 받지 않은 기기나 사용자로 인한 기기 위 변조, 기기 오작동 등의 보안 위협 발생 가능성이 증가할 것이라는 예측과 더불어 다양한 보안 위협에 대응할 수 있는 보안 기술에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 신뢰 보안 모듈과 클라우드 서버를 이용한 기기 간 원격 인증 및 기기 관리 방법에 대해 기술한다. 수 많은 기기가 인터넷으로 연결되어 운용되는 IoT 환경에서 신뢰 보안 모듈을 활용한 IoT 기기 간 원격 인증, 기기 보안 업데이트 및 안전한 기기 관리 기능 등을 통해 보다 안전하고 신뢰할 수 있는 IoT 서비스 제공이 가능해짙 수 있을 것이다.

도로 기하구조에 따른 차량 Microphone 위치별 소음 영향 분석 (Analysis of Vehicle Noise Effect by Microphone Position and Road Geometry)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of study is to understand the characteristic of driving noise from the front and rear tire for effective active noise cancellation application. METHODS : As literature review, noise measurement methods were reviewed. Noise measurement conducted at three kind of section by road slope using CPX(Close Proximity Method). Noise data was compared by total sound pressure level and 1/3 octave band frequency sound pressure level. Also, each section was compared by T-test using SPSS. RESULTS : In the case of the uphill section, it was shown that the sound pressure level of the front tire at Sugwang-Ri and Sinchon-RI sections was higher than that of the rear tire in low and high frequency band. In the case of high slope section of Sangsaek-Ri, the sound pressure level of the front tire was higher than that of the rear tire in high frequency. Also, in the case of the downhill section, it was shown that the sound pressure level of the front tire at Sugwang-Ri and Sinchon-RI sections was higher than that of the rear tire in low frequency band. However, the sound pressure levels of both the front and rear tires were approximately the same in the high slope section of Sangsaek-Ri. The result of T-test showed that total sound pressures of the front and rear tires were not different from each other in the case of high slope and high speed. CONCLUSIONS: Road slope was not an important variable for effective active noise cancellation.
