  • Ramik[7] introduced a fuzzy goal programming (FGP)problem that generalizes a standard goal programming (GP) problem with fuzzy alternatives, fuzzy objective functions and fuzzy deviation functions for measuring the deviation between attained and desired goals being fuzzy. However, it is known that this FGP tends to produce an approximate solution since it uses an approximate fuzzy multiplication operation to solve the resultant fuzzy model. In this paper, we show that this FGP sometimes leads to the wrong decision. We also propose a procedure that gets the exact solution to overcome these problems. The method is based on $T_M$ (min norm)-based fuzzy operations using $\alpha-cut$ representations. We consider the same example as used in Ramik and investigate how our procedures are compared to Ramik's.

  • We consider a mixed type singularly perturbed one dimensional elliptic problem with discontinuous source term. The domain under consideration is partitioned into two subdomains. A convection-diffusion and a reaction-diffusion type equations are posed on the first and second subdomains respectively. Two hybrid difference schemes on Shishkin mesh are constructed and we prove that the schemes are almost second order convergence in the maximum norm independent of the diffusion parameter. Error bounds for the numerical solution and its numerical derivative are established. Numerical results are presented which support the theoretical results.

  • The Purpose of this study is to clarify what a difference the individual family value and relationship make on the inheritance consciousness by focussing on right succeed property among the inheritances rights of family. Questionnaire were distributed to about 450 married person with children over 40 year and among them 384 cases are used in final analysis. Inheritance consciousness of the Korea family shows that the property inheritances to greatly different from the inheritance the family head rituals according to consciousness of the individuals. That is to say the succession of the property is decided by inheritances of the individuals where-as these of the family head and rituals are done by the family norm. such results tend to be made due th the fact that Koreans think of a duty to father a son and make him succeed th the heat of the family on the basis of the strong blood tie of the family that Koreans think t important to keep their family fame and to contain the fam ly existence I. e. they respect their patriarchal system.

  • An intelligent digital redesign technique (IDR) for the observer-based output feedback Takagi-Sugeno (T-5) fuzzy control system with fuzzy outputs is developed. The considered IDR condition is cubically parameterized as convex minimization problems of the norm distances between linear operators to be matched.'rho stability condition is easily embedded and the separations principle is explicitly shown.

  • This paper deals with Routley-Meyer-style semantics, which will be called algebraic Routley-Meyer-style semantics, for the fuzzy logic system MTL. First, we recall the monoidal t-norm logic MTL and its algebraic semantics. We next introduce algebraic Routley-Meyer-style semantics for it, and also connect this semantics with algebraic semantics.

  • Demirci ((1999) Vague groups. J. Math. Anal. Appl. 230, 142-156) introduced the concept of vague groups as one of uncertain reasoning structures where indistinguishable operators separate points. In this paper, we consider vague groups in which an indistinguishable operator does not need to separate points because it seems more appropriate to handle ambiguous situations. For our purposes we generalize or redefine some notions such as: vague closed subset, vague subgroup, vague kernel and vague injectiveness. Consequently we generalize most of the known results and obtain some new additional fundamental properties of vague groups, some of which are similar to ones of ordinary groups.

  • The purpose of this study was that HPV prevention education based on the planned behavioral theory was designed to provide college students with HPV vaccine knowledge, cervical cancer knowledge, attitude toward HPV vaccination, subjective norms for HPV vaccination, perceived behavioral control for HPV vaccination, and HPV vaccination. This is an experimental study to confirm the effect on the intention to vaccinate and the behavior of HPV vaccination. The subjects were arbitrarily expressed as 32 subjects in the experimental group and 34 subjects in the control group. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, χ2-test, Fisher's exact test and repeated Measures ANOVA. As a result, the experimental group participating in HPV prevention education was compared to the control group who did not participate in HPV vaccine knowledge (t=5.66, p<.001), cervical cancer knowledge (t=4.13, p<.001), attitude (t=2.24, p=) .032 ), subjective norm (t=2.83, p=.008), perceived behavioral control (t=2.65, p=.013), and intention (t=3.91, p<.001) were significantly different. After 4 weeks of HPV prevention education intervention, there was a significant difference in the interaction between group and time course of HPV vaccination intention (F=6.95, p=.002). Therefore, it was confirmed that HPV prevention education is an educational program that can be applied to college students.

  • In fuzzy logic, aggregating uncertainties is generally achieved by means of operators such as t-norms and t-conorms. However, existing aggregation operators have some disadvantages as follows : First, they are situation-independent. Thus, they may not be properly applied to dynamic aggregation process. Second, they do not give an intuitional sense to decision making process. To solve these problems, we propose a new $\varepsilon$-AMDA (Aggregation based on the fuzzy Multidimensional Decision Analysis) algorithm to reflect degrees of strength for option i (i = 1, 2, ..., n) in the decision making process. The $\varepsilon$-AMDA algorithm makes adaptive aggregation results between min (the most weakness for an option) and max (the most strength for an option) according to the values of the parameter representing degrees of strength for an option. In this respect, it may be applied to dynamic aggregation process. In addition, it provides a mechanism of the fuzzy multidimensional decision analysis for decision making, and gives an intuitional sense to decision making process. Thus, the proposed method aids the decision maker to get a suitable decision according to the degrees of strength for options (or alternatives).

  • The primary goal of six sigma is to improve patient satisfaction, and thereby profitability, by reducing and eliminating defects. Defects may be related to any aspect of customer satisfaction: high product quality, schedule adherence, cost minimization, process capability indices, defects per unit, and yield. Many six sigma metrics can be mathematically related to the others. Literally, six means six standard deviations from the mean or median value. As applied to quality metrics, the term indicates that failures are at least six standard deviations from the mean or norm. This would mean about 3.4 failures per million opportunities for failure. The objective of six sigma quality is to reduce process output variation so that on a long term basis, which is the customer's aggregate experience with our process over time, this will result in no more than 3.4 defect Parts Per Million(PPM) opportunities (or 3.4 Defects Per Million Opportunities. For a process with only one specification limit (upper or lower), this results in six process standard deviations between the mean of the process and the customer's specification limit (hence, 6 Sigma). The results of applicative six sigma experiment studied on 18 items TP, ALB, T.B, ALP, AST, ALT, CL, CK, LD, K, Na, CRE, BUN, T.C, GLU, AML, CA tests in clinical chemistry were follows. Assessment of process performance fits within six sigma tolerance limits were TP, ALB, T.B, ALP, AST, ALT, CL, CK, LD, K, Na, CRE, BUN, T.C, GLU, AML, CA with 72.2%, items that fit within five sigma limits were total bilirubin, chloride and sodium were 3 sigma. We were sure that the goal of six sigma would reduce test variation in the process.

  • Objectives : Acupuncture has been widely used in oriental medicine. The aim of this research is to study how does the interaction between reinforcement-reduction by twirling nine and six and subject's cold or heat tendency effect on Heart Rate Variability. Methods : We divided our subjects into 3 groups at random and classified subjects by their cold or heat tendency using questionnaire for cold-heat patternization. Group 1 is acupuncture at shinmun(HT7) reinforcement group, 2 is acupuncture at shinmun(HT7) reduction group, 3 in acupuncture at hapkok(LI4) group. According to their group, we acupunctured. Before and after acupuncture Heart Rate Variability raw data were measured during 5 minutes. LF, HF, LF norm HF norm were calculated. We analyzed these data using 3-way repeated ANOVA, Paired student T-Test. Results : 3-way repeated ANOVA showed significant interaction among LF, each group and subject's cold heat tendency(p<0.05). Paired student T-Test showed significant differences between before and after acupuncture at shinmun(HT7) reinforcement method in cold tendency men and acupuncture at shinmun(HT7) reduction method in heat tendency men(p<0.05). Conclusion : These results suggest that acupuncture at Shinmun(HT7) has an effect on declining sympathetic nerve function and has an effect on stabilizing mind through Interaction between reinforcement-reduction by twirling nine and six and subject's cold or heat tendency. We propose that more prudent care is needed about subject's cold or heat tendency and acupuncture technique of reinforcement-reduction to achieve the most suitable treatment effect.
