  • In order to study the rate control step in the protein metabolic course of the chlorophyll formation, the transaminase activities which are obtained freely in the extracts of cotyledons of germinating peas at the light and the dark places, are measured in Beckman mopel D.U, spectrophoto meter at 490 mu. In this case, of two enzymatic reaction products; oxalacetic acid and pyruvic acid, the former is converted to pyruvic acid by aniline citrate and after each pyruvate phenyl hydrazones are extracted by toluenes: when this is treated with strong alcoholic alkali, a colored hydrazone is formed and it is measured by above apparatus. The estimated G.O.T. and G.P.T. in the germinated cotyledons at dark and light places considerably differ in their activities; G.O.T. and G.P.T. activities which are formed at the light are more increased than at the dark and also they differ in their rates through germination, though G.O.T. activity increment is smoothly but that of G.P.T. is more sharply, and they are considered to be directly affected to the chlorophyll formation and indirectly to the growth. G.O.T. and G.P.T. in each fractions of cell in the cotyledons should be formed by dissociation of zymogens in the microsomal fractions and it seems to promoted by light. In the formation of the chlorophyll, the protein metabolism occurred mainly in the microsomal fractions and the rate determining step is found at the point where the zymogene that is able to produce G.P.T. is activated, and this activation is promoted by light as noted above.

다양한 곤충에 의한 계분의 분해능력에 대한 연구(1) (A Case Study on the Degradability of Poultry Manure by Various Insect Larvae (1))

  • This study was conducted to investigate the efficacy of larval stages of three species, namely, Tenebrio molitor, Protaetia brevitarsis seulensis, and Ptecticus tenebrifer larvae, in degrading poultry manure, specially, broiler and duck manure. The survival rates of larvae were also noted. For the experiment, T. molitor (n=300), P. brevitarsis seulensis (n=60), and P. tenebrifer (n=300) hatched larvae were randomly divided into six groups with three replicates. The degaradation efficacy tests were then performed for 30 days in a laboratory. The test groups were as follows: T1, 110 g broiler manure + T. molitor larvae (n=50); T2, 110 g duck manure + T. molitor larvae (n=50); T3, 125 g broiler manure + P. brevitarsis seulensis larvae (n=10); T4, 125 g duck manure + P. brevitarsis seulensis larvae (n=10); T5, 105 g broiler manure + P. tenebrifer larvae (n=50); and T6, 105 g duck manure + P. tenebrifer larvae (n=50). The groups showed significant efficacy in degrading broiler and duck manure (p<0.05). The highest survival rates were recorded for T. molitor larvae in both manure types [T1 (92.67%) and T2 (50%)], followed by P. brevitarsis seulensis larvae (T4, 40%) and P. tenebrifer larvae (T6, 14.67%) in duck manure. Next, the survival rates of P. brevitarsis seulensis (T3) and Ptecticus tenebrifer larvae (T5) in broiler manure were 0%. In conclusion, these results point to the feasibility of using insect larvae to degrade broiler and duck manure.

가열조리에 의한 옥수수유의 트랜스지방산 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Variation of Trans Fatty Acid with Heat Treatment of Corn Oils)

  • 옥수수유를 $175{\pm}5^{\circ}C$에서 가열처리(15회)하여 가열 전과 트랜스지방산의 함량변화를 살펴본 결과, 0.292 g/100g에서 2.585 g/100g로 2.293 g/100g의 증가를 보였다. 15회 한 옥수수유를 방치(150일) 한 후 트랜스지방산의 함량변화를 살펴본 결과, 2.585 g/100g에서 3.683 g/100g로 1.098 g/100g의 증가를 나타냈고 1회 섭취하는 총 트랜스지방산의 함량(tFAs(g)/Serving size)은 0.01 g에서 0.18 g으로 0.17 g의 섭취량 증가를 나타냈다. 트랜스지방산의 이성체별 함량변화를 살펴보면, C18:2t, C18:3t보다 C18:1t가 가열횟수가 증가할수록 큰 폭으로 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

NMR Structural Study of the 3'-T.G Mismatched DNA Decamer Duplex Containing the T-T (6-4) Adduct

  • The pyrimidine(6-4) pyrimidone photoproduct [(6-4) adduct] is one of the major photoproducts induced by UV irradiation of DNA and occurs at TpT sites. The (6-4) adduct is highly mutagenic and specific during translesion replication. The marked preference for insertion of A opposite the 5'-T and G opposite the 3--T of the (6-4) adducts leads to a predominantly 3'-T\longrightarrowC transition with 85% replicating error rate. In order to obtain insight into the origin of 3'-T\longrightarrowC transition induced by the (6-4) adduct, we have performed one - and two-dimensional NMR experiment. The 3'-Tof the (6-4) lesion forms the stable hydrogen bonding to the imino proton of an opposed G, which stabilizes the overall helix and diminishes the highly distorted conformation caused by the (6-4) lesion in the (6-4)/AA duplex. We proposed that the greater insertion of a G over an A opposite the 3'-T of the (6-4) lesion These results may account for the greater preference for the insertion of a G over a A opposite the 3'-T of the (6-4) lesion. Thus this insertion leads to the highly specific 3'-T\longrightarrowC multation at the (6-4) lesion site.

Influence of growth Temperature on the Formation of 10 monolayer-thick InGaAs Quantum dots formed with 5 repetitions of 1 monolayer-thick InAs and 1 monolayer-thick GaAs

  • Effect of growth temperature ($T_g$) on the structural and optical properties of $In_{0.5}Ga_{0.5}As$ atomic layer epitaxial (ALE) quantum dots (QDs) is investigated in the range of $T_g=480-510^{\circ}C$. $In_{0.5}Ga_{0.5}As$ ALE QDs consist of 5 periods of short-period superlattices (SPSs) of 1 monolayer-thick InAs and GaAs. Number of coalescent QDs decreases as $T_g$ increases, and they disappear at $T_g=510^{\circ}C$. As $T_g$ increases in the range of $480-495^{\circ}C$, sizes of QDs increase, and densities of QDs decrease due to merge of QDs. On the contrary, although sizes of QDs are maintained at $T_g=495-510^{\circ}C$, densities of QDs decrease. This is attributed to the desorption of material-mainly indium-during the growth interruption. This conjecture is supported by the optical properties of the QDs as a function of $T_g$. As a result, we propose that optimum growth temperature of the QD is $495^{\circ}C$ with less repetition of SPSs than 5.

ITO 성장온도에 따른 Cu(In,Ga)Se2 박막 태양전지의 특성 분석

  • 본 논문에서는 Indium tin oxide (ITO) 투명전극의 성장온도($T_G$)가 Cu(In,Ga)$Se_2$ (CIGS) 박막태양전지에 미치는 영향을 살펴 보았다. ITO 박막은 radio-frequency magnetron sputtering을 이용하여 상온에서 $350^{\circ}C$까지의 다양한 $T_G$ 조건에서 i-ZnO/ glass와 i-ZnO/CdS/CIGS/Mo/glass 기판에 증착되었다. ITO의 비저항과 CdS/CIGS 계면 특성은 $T_G$에 크게 영향을 받았다. $T_G{\leq}200^{\circ}C$에서는 $T_G$가 증가할수록 ITO 저항이 감소하였고 이에 따른 series 저항 감소가 태양전지 성능 향상에 기여하였다. 하지만 $T_G$ > $200^{\circ}C$에서는 CdS 버퍼층의 Cd이 CIGS 층으로 확산되어 소자의 p-n 계면이 파괴되는 것을 발견하였다. $T_G=200^{\circ}C$에서 ITO를 증착한 CIGS 태양전지의 경우 가장 높은 광전변환효율을 보였다.

  • 최근 ICT 기술의 발달로 인해 정보시스템의 융합 서비스 플랫폼에 대한 변화가 고속화되고 있다. 5G 통신, IoT, AI, Cloud가 적용된 사이버 시스템으로 확장된 융합 서비스가 실제 사회에 반영되고 있다. 하지만 사이버 공격과 보안 위협에 대한 대응과 보안기술 강화를 위한 사이버 보안 감리 분야는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 5G 통신, IoT, AI, Cloud 기반의 정보시스템 보안성 확장에 따른 정보보호 관리체계 국제표준 분석, 보안 감리 분석과 관련 시스템들의 보안성을 분석한다. 그리고 정보시스템의 사이버 공격과 보안 위협에 따른 보안성 확장을 위한 사이버 보안 감리 점검 사항과 내용을 설계하고 연구한다. 본 연구는 5G, IoT, AI, Cloud 기반 시스템들의 융합 서비스 확장에 따른 사이버 공격과 보안 위협대응을 위한 감리 방안과 감리 내용의 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

Diagnostic Value of Immunoglobulin G Anti-Deamidated Gliadin Peptide Antibody for Diagnosis of Pediatric Celiac Disease: A Study from Shiraz, Iran

  • Purpose: Screening serologic tests are important tools for the diagnosis of celiac disease (CD). Immunoglobulin (Ig)G anti-deamidated gliadin peptide (anti-DGP) is a relatively new autoantibody thought to have good diagnostic accuracy, comparable to that of anti-tissue transglutaminase (anti-tTG) antibody. Methods: Pediatric patients (n=86) with a clinical suspicion of CD were included. Duodenal biopsy, anti-tTG, and IgG anti-DGP antibody tests were performed. The patients were divided into CD and control groups based on the pathological evaluation of duodenal biopsies. The diagnostic accuracy of serological tests was determined. Results: IgA anti-tTG and IgG anti-DGP antibodies were positive in 86.3% and 95.4% of patients, respectively. The sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic accuracy of the IgA anti-tTG test were 86.3%, 50.0%, and 68.6%, respectively, and those of the IgG anti-DGP test were 95.4%, 85.7%, and 90.7%, respectively. The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was 0.84 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.74-0.91) for IgA anti-tTG test and 0.93 (95% CI, 0.86-0.97) for IgG anti-DGP test. The comparison of IgA anti-tTG and IgG anti-DGP ROC curves showed a higher sensitivity and specificity of the IgG anti-DGP test. Conclusion: IgG anti-DGP is a reliable serological test for CD diagnosis in children. High tTG and DGP titers in the serum are suggestive of severe duodenal atrophy. The combined use of IgA anti-tTG and IgG anti-DGP tests for the initial screening of CD can improve diagnostic sensitivity.

매실주 숙성 중 매실부위, 알콜농도 및 trons-Resveratrol 이 에틸카바메이트 생성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Raw Material, Alcohol Content, and trans-Resveratrol on the Formation of Ethyl Carbamate in Plum Wine)

  • 매실주 숙성중 매실부위, 알콜농도 및 t-resveratrol 이 에틸카바메이트 생성에 미치는 영향을 알아 보고자 매실주를 조제하여 6개월간 저장하면서 에틸카바메이트 생성량을 조사한 결과 30% 알콜 매실주의 경우 최대 $0.188{\mu}g$/g이 생성 되었으며, 30% 알콜 매실주에 t-resveratrol를 $10{\mu}g$/g 및 $300{\mu}g$/g 농도로 첨가시에는 각각 0.216 및 $0.169{\mu}g$/g 이 생성 되었다. 16% 알콜 매실주 에서는 최대 $0.071{\mu}g$/g 이 생성 되었고, 16% 알콜 매실주에 t-resveratrol 를 10 및 $300{\mu}g$/g농도로 첨가시는 모두 $0.078{\mu}g$/g의 에틸카바메이트가 생성되었다. 매실 과육만으로 매실주를 조제시 에틸카바메이트는 생성되지 않았으며 매실씨 만으로 조제시는 최대 $0.588{\mu}g$/g, 씨에 t-resveratrol 를 $300{\mu}g$/g 첨가시 $0.676{\mu}g$/g 의 에틸카바메이트가 생성되어 t-resveratrol 첨가가 에틸카바메이트 생성을 감소 시키지 못하는 것으로 조사되었다.

  • This paper is concerned with the impulsive Cauchy problem where the control function u is a possibly discontinuous vector-valued function with finite total variation. We assume that the vector fields f, $g_i$(i=1,…, m) are dependent on the time variable.
