  • The purpose of the present study is to verify the structural relationship among system quality, information quality, service quality, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, intention on continuous use of mobile learning in cyber university. For this study, W cyber university in Korea was chosen to conduct web survey. The subjects were 283 students who participated in W's cyber university courses. A hypothetical model was composed of system quality, information quality, service quality, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness as exogenous variables, satisfaction and intention on continuous use of mobile learning as endogenous variables. The result of this study through structural equation modeling analysis is as follows: First, information quality only affect satisfaction, Second, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and satisfaction significantly affect intention on continuous use of mobile learning. These results imply that information quality should be considered for the design and development of mobile learning contents. • As technology rapidly develops, the demand for manpower by new industries is increasing. In order to respond to the changing demands of the workforce, universities are actively introducing interdisciplinary majors, which is a program formed by two or more departments cooperating to develop new majors. Although the importance of the interdisciplinary major is increasing, universities have difficulties managing them due to non-flexible educational systems. The purpose of this study is to present an effective management direction for interdisciplinary majors based on the results of a survey on student satisfaction with interdisciplinary majors. Also, we analyzed the required level and possessed level of the IS practitioners' competencies, and developed specific educational directions for training IS talents. The results showed that there was a significant difference in satisfaction with the curriculum development and curriculum evaluation of existing subjects provided by existing departments and new subjects established of interdisciplinary majors, specifically the satisfaction of new subjects is higher than existing subjects. In the IS field, there was a high demand for education in the following areas, in order: information security, information technology strategy planning, information technology operation, information technology development, information technology management, information technology sales, and core competencies. Based on the results of the analysis, the satisfaction of students and the cultivation of the talents that the interdisciplinary major aims to develop can be improved.

  • A hybrid procedure based on multi-Criteria Satisfaction Analysis (MUSA) and a Network Data Envelopment Analysis (NDEA) is proposed to evaluate the relative efficiency of customer services in bank branches. First, a three-stage process including sub-processes such as customer expectations, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty, is defined to model the banking customer services. Then, fulfillment of customer expectations, customer loyalty level, and the customer satisfaction degree are measured and quantified through a multi-dimensional questionnaire based on customers' perceptions analysis and MUSA method, respectively. The customer services scores and the other criteria such as mean of employee evaluation score, operation costs, assets, deposits, loans, number of accounts are considered in network three-stage DEA model. The proposed NDEA model is formed based on multipliers perspective, output-oriented, and constant return to scale assumptions. The proposed NDEA model quantifies and assesses the total efficiency of main process and assigns the efficiency to customer expectations, customer satisfactions, and customer loyalties sub-processes in bank branches. The whole procedure is applied on 30 bank branches in IRAN. The proposed approach can be used in other organizations such as airports, airline agencies, urban transportation systems, railway organizations, chain stores, chain restaurants, public libraries, and entertainment centers.

  • This study attempts to extend the customer value - customer satisfaction - customer loyalty framework by introducing key constructs of scarcity messages as a major environmental stimulus and the urge to buy impulsively as its response in the context of group-buying social commerce, across countries including Korea and China. More specifically, this study proposes that scarcity messages influence customers' value perception (i.e., utilitarian value and hedonic value) and thereby influencing customer satisfaction and further customer loyalty. Moreover, the study suggests that scarcity messages and utilitarian and hedonic values arouse the urge to buy impulsively. In the Korean sample, the results show that scarcity messages increase both utilitarian and hedonic values as well as the urge to buy impulsively, which in turn leads to customers' satisfaction and further loyalty. Besides, customer satisfaction is determined by utilitarian value, not hedonic value. In the Chinese sample, utilitarian value-related relationships are insignificant. More specifically, scarcity messages only influence hedonic value which increases the urge to buy impulsively. Besides, customer satisfaction is determined by both utilitarian and hedonic values, but not by the urge to buy impulsively.
