  • In this paper, we propose a case that drone (unmanned aerial vehicle), one of the representative technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution, threatens airport safety and privacy infringement, and describes a drone control system proposal to solve the problem. Unmanned aerial vehicle (Drone) is creating a serious problem recently, In Korea, on May 21, 19, according to the Jeju Regional Aviation Administration, drones flew over Jeju Jeongseok Airfield twice in the same month, causing problems in aircraft operation. In overseas cases, two drones near the runway of Gatwick International Airport in the UK There has been a disturbance in which the takeoff and landing of the aircraft flies for a while, and various problems have occurred, such as voyeuring the private life of an individual using a drone. This paper is equipped with an Acess Point transponder mounted on a drone (unmanned aerial vehicle), and unspecified many who want to receive flight information (coordinates, altitude, and obstacles) of the drone access the drone AP, receive and receive the flight information of the drone, and receive unspecified multiple Drone AP flight information is collected and collected to provide the information of the drone currently floating on one user interface screen. Synthesis and Characterization of Interfacial Properties of Sorbitan Laurate Surfactant (Sorbitan Laurate 계면활성제 합성 및 계면 특성에 관한 연구)

  • The critical micelle concentration (CMC) of sorbitan laurate SP 20 surfactant in this paper was near $7.216{\times}10^{-4}mol/L$ and the surface tension at CMC was about 26.0 mN/m, which showed higher CMC and lower surface tension than those of octylphenol ethoxylate octylphenol ethoxylate (OPE) 10 surfactant. Dynamic surface tension measurement using a maximum bubble pressure tensiometer showed that the adsorption rate at the interface between air and surfactant solution was found to be slower with SP 20 surfactant, presumably due to a low mobility of SP 20 surfactant monomer. The contact angle of SP 20 surfactant solution was observed to decrease with an increase in surfactant concentration and showed a larger value than that of OPE 10 surfactant solution. Half-life time for foams generated with 1 wt% surfactant solution was also larger with SP 20 surfactant, which indicated higher foam stability with SP 20 surfactant. Dynamic behavior study reveals that the solubilization of n-decane oil was much lower with SP 20, which is in good agreement with experimental results of foam stability, contact angle and CMC. Dynamic interfacial tension measurement by a spinning drop tensiometer shows that interfacial tensions at equilibrium condition in both systems were almost the same but the time required to reach equilibrium was longer with SP 20.

  • The typical biomechanical properties of an internal conical connection (ICC) are axial displacement and loss of preload. The axial displacement of an ICC without a vertical stop can cause the loss of preload and a lowered occlusion. The stress of an ICC is concentrated on the contact interface of the abutment and not on the screw, and during placement, it is important to choose a wider coronal wall thickness as much as possible. The ICC should also be placed below the level of the bone crest. During the restoration of an ICC, care should be taken to ensure an appropriate abutment shape and an accurate connection. To get the best clinical results, it is important to select its wall thickness and place it in the appropriate position to restore it adequately.

  • Both teachers and learners should participate in non-face-to-face class due to COVID-19. The non-face-to-face class has brought about many problems, where they made adequate preparations for such abrupt situation. This study attempted to understand and improve problems occurring during non-face-to-face midi class. The findings are as follows: First, there were differences in equipment available to contact and non-face-to-face class. Such a problem could be improved by using Reaper, DAW which can be installed and freely utilized without any functional limits, regardless of the types of operating systems. Second, latency could not be reduced, when the screen share function of Zoom was used, since it was impossible to select audio interface's drivers in DAW. This problem was improved by again receiving audio output as input and sending it, from the perspectives of teachers. In addition, learners who used the operating system of Windows and have no audio interfaces usually suffer from latency during practices. The latency can be reduced by installing Asio4all. Third, image degradation and screen disconnection phenomena occurred due to the lack of resource. Two computers were connected by using a capture board and the screen disconnection phenomena could be improved by distributing resources and maintaining high-resolution. The system for allowing non-face-to-face midi class could be successfully established, as one more computer was connected by using Vienna Ensemble Pro and more plug-ins were used by securing additional resources. Consequently, the problems of non-face-to-face midi class could be understood and improved.

Numerical Simulation of Ocean - Ice Shelf Interaction: Water Mass Circulation in the Terra Nova Bay, Antarctica (해양-빙붕 상호작용을 고려한 남극 테라노바 만에서 수괴 형성과 순환의 수치 시뮬레이션)

  • The interaction between ocean and ice shelf is a critical physical process in relation to water mass transformations and ice shelf melting/freezing at the ocean-ice interface. However, it remains challenging to thoroughly understand the process due to a lack of observational data with respect to ice shelf cavities. This is the first study to simulate the variability and circulation of water mass both overlying the continental shelf and underneath an ice shelf and an ice tongue in the Terra Nova Bay (TNB), East Antarctica. To explore the properties of water mass and circulation patterns in the TNB and the corresponding effects on sub ice shelf basal melting, we explicitly incorporate the dynamic-thermodynamic processes acting on the ice shelf in the Regional Ocean Modeling System. The simulated water mass formation and circulation in the TNB region agree well with previous studies. The model results show that the TNB circulation is dominated by the geostrophic currents driven by lateral density gradients induced by the releasing of brine or freshwater at the polynya of the TNB. Meanwhile, the circulation dynamics in the cavity under the Nansen Ice shelf (NIS) are different from those in the TNB. The gravity-driven bottom current induced by High Salinity Shelf Water (HSSW) formed at the TNB polynya flows towards the grounding line, and the buoyance-driven flow associated with glacial meltwater generated by the HSSW emerges from the cavity along the ice base. Both current systems compose the thermohaline overturning circulation in the NIS cavity. This study estimates the NIS basal melting rate to be 0.98 m/a, which is comparable to the previously observed melt rate. However, the melting rate shows a significant variation in space and time.

  • Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) operators perform traffic management tasks using VTS systems and sensor equipment designated as VTS facilities to promote the safety and efficiency of vessel traffic. The necessary VTS information for effective operations could be obtained through the additional access of various information channels other than the designated VTS facility. To unify these various information access windows, the development of the VTS cloud system is in progress. In this study, the operational information analysis for VTS was performed through VTS tasks-facility linkage analysis to identify the user required information according to the introduction of the VTS cloud system. The VTS task analysis was performed through research of the international and domestic literature, and expert interviews. The necessary information were identified and linked according to the VTS facilities. As a result of the analysis, 37 categories of necessary information were identified for internal and external information windows, and 8 information windows were selected other than the present VTS equipment. The identified user requirements would be applied to the structure design of the VTS cloud system. In the future, it is necessary to update user requirements through scenario-based user operation analysis and to conduct additional research on the system interface design.

  • Medical device usability evaluation refers to the evaluation of medical devices through actual users before the final prototype production is completed. IEC 62366, one of the international safety standards for electronic medical devices, is a standard that must be applied to obtain medical device licenses in major advanced countries such as Europe and the United States. In Korea, through the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety's notice, from January 2021, sequential application by grade has been implemented. In this study, 15 participant specialists were recruited through the Incheon G University Hospital Medical Device Convergence Center for formative evaluation during user suitability evaluation of the focused ultrasound stimulation system being developed by Icleo Co., Ltd., and the test was conducted through joint scenario development. . In the result of task performance, the performance rate was 90.67%, and after the completion of the performance, 86.67% of 'Easy user interface' and 94% of 'Identification/Readability/Understanding of information' questions in the participant survey results analysis by question. The response rate was above average.

  • In this paper, we describe the design and implementationof COIRS COncept,based Image Retricval System). It differs from extant content-based image retrieval systems in that it enables users to query based on concepts- it allows users to get images concepmally relevant. A concept is basically an aggregation of promitive objects in an image. For such a cencept based image retrieval functionality. COIRS aglopts an image descriptor called triple and includes a triple thesaurus used for capturing concepts. There are four facilities in COIRS: a visual image indeses a triple thesaurus, an inverted fiel, and a user query interface. The visnal image indeser facilitates object laeling and the percification of positionof objects. It is an assistant tool designed to minimize manual work when indexing images.   • Navigation system providing route-guidance and traffic information is one of the most widely used driver-support system these days. Most of the navigation system is based on the 2D map paradigm so the information is ed and encoded from the real world. As a result it imposes a cognitive burden to the driver to interpret and translate the ed information to real world information. As a new concept of navigation system, augmented-reality navigation system (AR navigation) is suggested recently. It provides navigational guidance by imposing graphical information on real image captured by camera mounted on a vehicle in real-time. The ultimate goal of navigation system is to assist the driving task with least driving workload whether it is based on the abstracted graphic paradigm or realistic image paradigm. In this paper, we describe the comparative studies on how map navigation and AR navigation affect for driving tasks by experimental research. From the result of this research we obtained a basic knowledge about the two paradigms of navigation systems. On the basis of this knowledge, we are going to find the optimal design of navigation system supporting driving task most effectively, by analyzing characteristics of driving tasks and navigational information from the human-vehicle interface point of view.

  • In recent years, due to heightened environmental awareness, Electric Power Steering (EPS) has been increasingly adopted as the steering control unit in manufactured vehicles. This has had numerous benefits, such as improved steering power, elimination of hydraulic hose leaks and reduced fuel consumption. However, for EPS systems to respond to actions, sensors must be employed; this means that the consistency of the sensor's linear variation is integral to the stability of the steering response. To ensure quality control, a reliable method for detecting defects and assessing linearity is required to assess the sensitivity of the EPS sensor to changes in the internal design characters. This paper proposes a data-driven defect and linearity assessment monitoring system, which can be used to analyze EPS component defects and linearity based on vehicle speed interval division. The approach is validated experimentally using data collected from an EPS test jig and is further enhanced by the inclusion of a Graphical User Interface (GUI). Based on the design, the developed system effectively performs defect detection with an accuracy of 0.99 percent and obtains a linearity assessment score at varying vehicle speeds.
