간호전달체계의 변화가 간호사 직무만족도와 환자만족도 및 직접간호시간에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Changes in Nursing Delivery System on Satisfaction of Nurses and Patients and Direct Nursing Time)

  • Purpose: Purpose of this research was to identify effects of application of a modified primary nursing system. Methods: Measurement was done of direct nursing time and satisfaction of nurses and patients before and after one month of the modified primary nursing system in a surgery unit in C university hospital, Seoul. Results: There was no statistically significant difference between average for patient satisfaction (4.24) before and (4.11) after application of the modified primary nursing system. Total average for nurse satisfaction with the nursing delivery system was 2.89 before application and, 3.34 after, indicating some significant differences (t=-4.06, p<.001). The KPCS-1 was 10.19 before application of the modified primary nursing system and 9.52 after application. Recalculated into direct nursing time, the average direct nursing time for one patient was 92 minutes before application, and 85.98 minutes after, indicating no significant difference. Conclusion: Through this research an attempt was made to build and test a modified primary nursing system. Results indicate that the most important thing is to clearly regulate office work and safely implement the new system.

  • Quality management system is a systematic quality improvement approach for firm-wide management for the purpose of improving performance in terms of quality, productivity, organizational characteristics, customer satisfaction, and firm's profitability. Recently, many researchers have examined the relationship between quality management system and firm's performance. The conclusion from these studies is that effective implementation of quality management system improves firm's performance. This paper extends the existing research on quality management system and firm's performance by examining how the impact of quality management system on firm's performance is moderated by organizational characteristics and customer satisfaction. The paper is organized as follows. Section 1 introduces the necessity and purpose of the research. Section 2 reviews quality management system and summarizes the results of previous studies. Section 3 present the proposed research model, the hypotheses related to the relationship between quality management system and firm's performance. Section 4 provides results from the data analysis. Section 5 presents discussions, results, further implications, and research limitations. An extensive literature research was designed to identify and retrieve empirical studies relevent to develop the hypotheses. The objectives of this study identify the factors of quality management system on business performance. The results are as follows: First, The management responsibility, resource management and product realization influenced significantly on financial performance. Second, the research showed a fact that organizational characteristics and customer satisfaction effect as a moderated between quality management system and business performance. The implications of our results are that organizational characteristics and customer satisfaction moderate the firm's performance.

  • Internet shoppers interact with Internet shopping mall systems while they shop. To understand why Internet shoppers make purchase, this study view Internet shopping malls as information systems. Although this view point seems reasonable, little previous studies employing this perspective are found in the relevant literature. This study develops a research model where Internet shoppers' transaction intentions are affected by the mediating effects of trust and satisfaction. Trust can mitigate uncertainty of the e-commerce environment for consumers, and satisfaction is widely used to measure the effectiveness of information systems. Therefore, we consider them as key elements in this study. We further employ the construct of website quality to explain why shoppers have different levels of trust and satisfaction. We classify website quality into information quality, system quality. and design quality. We collected 282 survey responses from Internet shoppers who have prior experiences with Internet shopping malls to purchase a product or service. The survey data are used to empirically test the proposed nine research hypotheses using LISREL. The LISREL results indicate that information quality and design quality have significant impact on both satisfaction and trust, while system quality has little relation to trust level. Further, trust is shown to have significant influence on satisfaction. Finally. both trust and satisfaction is strongly related to the future transaction intention.

  • Purpose: This study was to present the process of web-based educational program (WEP) development and to identify factors affecting satisfaction with WEP for the certificate of healthcare managers working at the National Health Insurance Corporation (NHIC). Methods: Subjects were healthcare managers and voluntary participants of WEP. A total of 1,449 respondents were surveyed through an online questionnaire about their satisfaction with the educational contents and system. Results: The mean contents satisfaction was 3.75 (SO 0.54), and system satisfaction 4.68 (SD 0.54). According to statistical analysis, the type of certification, experience and professional career of health care management affected contents satisfaction. And factors affecting system satisfaction were the type of certification and gender. Conclusion: WEP was utilized as a pre-requisite course for the certificate program of healthcare managers. However, the development of advanced WEP is suggested to meet the educational needs of healthcare managers who have certificate or license and their job related to healthcare management.

Multimodal Sentiment Analysis for Investigating User Satisfaction

  • Purpose The proliferation of data on the internet has created a need for innovative methods to analyze user satisfaction data. Traditional survey methods are becoming inadequate in dealing with the increasing volume and diversity of data, and new methods using unstructured internet data are being explored. While numerous comment-based user satisfaction studies have been conducted, only a few have explored user satisfaction through video and audio data. Multimodal sentiment analysis, which integrates multiple modalities, has gained attention due to its high accuracy and broad applicability. Design/methodology/approach This study uses multimodal sentiment analysis to analyze user satisfaction of iPhone and Samsung products through online videos. The research reveals that the combination model integrating multiple data sources showed the most superior performance. Findings The findings also indicate that price is a crucial factor influencing user satisfaction, and users tend to exhibit more positive emotions when content with a product's price. The study highlights the importance of considering multiple factors when evaluating user satisfaction and provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of different data sources for sentiment analysis of product reviews.

  • Recently, interest in ChatGPT has been increasing. This study investigated the factors influencing the satisfaction of users using ChatGPT service, a chatbot system based on artificial intelligence technology. This paper empirically analyzed causality between the four major factors of service quality, system quality, information quality, and security as independent variables and user satisfaction of ChatGPT as dependent variable. In addition, the mediating effect of reliability between the independent variables and user's satisfaction was analyzed. As a result of this research, except for information quality, among the quality factors, security and reliability had a positive causality with use satisfaction. Reliability played a mediating role between quality factors, security, and user satisfaction. However, among quality factors, the mediating effect of reliability between service quality and user's satisfaction was not significant. In conclusion, in order to increase user satisfaction with new technology-based services, it is important to create trust among users. The research results sought to emphasize the importance of user trust in establishing development and operation strategies for artificial intelligence systems, including ChatGPT.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate parent expectation and satisfaction with respect to pediatric inpatient care and to identify the variables related to parent satisfaction. Methods: The study was conducted in pediatric wards of a tertiary children's hospital in Korea. The participants were 361 parents of children who were inpatients. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire (The Pediatric Family Satisfaction Questionnaire) at the time of discharge. Results: The highest parent expectation domain was medical service. The parents were most satisfied with nursing service and least satisfied with general hospital service and accommodation. The parents expressed lower satisfaction with hospital facilities, equipment, noise, cleanliness, and communication by health care professionals. Parents with younger children reported higher expectation from the complete hospital service and those who had a longer length of stay reported higher expectation from the nursing service. Conclusion: To improve the quality of hospital services, we need to understand parent expectation and improve and provide clear communication. In addition, the general hospital service and accommodation should not be overlooked for improvement.

민간경비원의 직무스트레스와 직무만족도의 관계 (Correlation between Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of Private Security Guard)

  • 본 연구는 민간경비원의 직무스트레스 및 직무만족의 관계를 규명하여 민간경비산업에서 일선에서 중요한 역할을 담당하는 민간경비원의 문제점을 효과적으로 파악하여 민간경비업의 효과적인 조직운영 안을 제시하고자 하는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 서울 및 충청남도의 민간경비업체의 직원을 대상으로 편의표집을 이용하여 총 351명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였다. 조사도구는 설문지로서 국내 외 선행연구를 기초로 하여 재구성하여 사용하였으며, 자료 처리는 SPSS version 18.0 통계패키지를 이용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이상의 연구방법과 절차에 따른 자료분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 민간경비원의 직무스트레스와 직무만족의 하위요인 중 업무만족의 관계를 분석한 결과 역할갈등, 임금체계스트레스가 낮을수록 업무만족이 높다. 둘째, 민간경비원의 직무스트레스와 직무만족의 하위요인 중 상사만족의 관계를 분석한 결과 임금체계, 책임감, 역할갈등스트레스가 낮을수록 상사만족이 높다. 셋째, 민간경비원의 직무스트레스와 직무만족의 하위요인 중 기회균등만족의 관계를 분석한 결과 직무스트레스 하위 요인 중 임금체계, 역할갈등, 책임감스트레스가 낮을수록 기회균등만족이 높다. 넷째, 직무스트레스와 직무만족의 하위요인 중 복리후생의 관계를 분석한 결과 직무스트레스 하위 요인 중 임금체계, 역할갈등스트레스가 낮을수록 복리후생만족이 높다. 다섯째, 직무스트레스와 직무만족의 하위요인 중 임금만족의 관계를 분석한 결과 직무스트레스 하위 요인 중 임금체계, 역할갈등스트레스가 낮을수록 임금만족이 높다. 여섯째, 직무스트레스와 직무만족의 하위요인 중 직장의 자긍심의 관계를 분석한 결과 직무스트레스 하위 요인 중 임금체계, 역할갈등스트레스가 낮을수록 직장의 자긍심이 높다. 일곱째, 직무스트레스와 직무만족의 하위요인 중 동료만족의 관계를 분석한 결과 직무스트레스 하위 요인 중 역할갈등, 임금체계스트레스가 낮을수록 동료만족이 높다.

병원영양사의 직무만족요인에 대한 조사연구 (A Study on the Factors of Job Satisfaction of the Dietitians Working in Hospitals)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the degrees and the influence factors of job satisfaction of dietitians working in hospitals in relation to performance of duty in their works and to provide effective management of hospital dietitians for high quality health and food service in hospital. The questionaire was prepared with reference to the previous studies on job satisfaction of dietitians working in hospitals throughout the nation. 201 dietitians in the country were surveyed. The period of research was from January 20 to February 28, 1995. The results are as follows. 1) In regard to the degree of job satisfaction of hospital dietitians, they showed the highest degree of job satisfaction in the relationships with fellow dietitians followed by worth and self-confidence, aptitude and interests, relationships with cooks, job stability, degree of recognition of the dietitians competence, supervision of the superiors, degree of application of professional knowledge, work load, wage level, degree of recognition of the importance of duty, cooperative relationships with load, wage level, degree of recognition of the importance of duty, cooperative relationships with doctors, degree of performance of clinical work, the number of dietitians, the prromotion system, and welfare system in that order. On the other hand, they showed the highest dissatisfaction with food service facilities. 2) The influence factors on job satisfaction are as follows. (1) Wage factor : Shorter weekday working hours and higher bonuses make greaster job satisfaction (R2=0.3115). (2) Working condition factor : Larger number of monthly holidays(R2=0.5142), shorter weekday working hours(R2=0.1077), longer previous food service experience and computer utilization (R2=0.1432) make greater job satisfaction. (3) Welfare factor : Welfare system (R2=0.4132) and promotion system (R2=0.1624) have to do with computer utilization. Job stability has to do with marital status and computer utilization (R2=0.1165). consequently, those married dietitians who use computers show higher job satisfaction. (4) Human relationship factor : Smaller mumber of patients receiving food makes greater job satisfaction (R2=0.1334). (5) Superivision factor : Shorter weekday working hours and larger number of monthly holidays make greater job satisfaction (R2=0.1709). (6) Achievement factor : Marriage, larger number of dietitians(R2=9.2293), age, larger number of monthly holiday, higher monthly wages and computer utiliazation (R2=0.1088) make greater job satisfaction. (7) Speciality factor : Marriage, longer current hospital tenure, higher position and working in seoul(R2=0.1142) make higher job satisfaction. (8) Job inclination factor : working in general hospitals rather than in oriental hispitals, working in seoul(R2=0.1776) and better bonuses(R2=0.1078)make greater job satisfaction. As a result, the following is suggested for the job satisfaction of hospital dietitions on the basis of this study : hospital dietitians can achieve miximum job satisfaction through smooth relationships with coworkers, and the responsible managers should improve welfare and working conditions for the job satisfaction of hospital dietitians.

도시크기에 따른 기계경비시스템 이용자의 안전욕구충족과 생활만족 비교분석 (Comparative Analysis on Security Needs Satisfaction and Life Satisfaction of Electronic Security System Users by City Size)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대도시와 지방도시 기계경비시스템 이용자의 안전욕구충족과 생활만족에 대한 차이를 비교분석하는데 있다. 이 연구는 대도시(서울)와 지방도시(천안 아산)를 모집단으로 선정한 다음 유의 표집법을 이용하여 총 400명을 표집 하였다. 구체적으로 각 지역에서 은행 귀금속점 편의점 통신업체등의 4개 영업점을 대상으로 2차 분할하여 실시하였으며, 1차는 2008년 6월 서울 소재 기계경비시스템 이용자들을 한강기준으로 강동, 강서, 강남, 강북, 도심권 등의 5개 지역으로 분할하여 각 지역에 1개동을 추출 40명씩 총 200부를 표집 하였다. 2차는 2009년 1월 천안 아산 소재 기계경비시스템 이용자들을 대상으로 4개 지역에서 50명씩 200명을 표집 하였다. 설문지의 신뢰도는 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ 값이 .812이상으로 나타났다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 도시크기에 따른 기계경비시스템 이용자들의 신체적 안전욕구충족은 차이가 있다. 즉, 대도시 이용자가 지방도시 이용자보다 환경적, 심리적, 정보적 안전욕구충족은 높다. 둘째, 도시크기에 따른 기계경비시스템 이용자들의 생활만족은 차이가 있다. 즉, 대도시 이용자가 지방도시 이용자보다 안전생활 만족은 높다. 셋째, 도시크기에 따른 기계경비시스템 이용자의 안전욕구충족은 생활만족에 영향을 미친다. 즉, 대도시 이용자들의 경우 신체적, 환경적, 정보적, 물리적 안전욕구충족이 높을수록 생활만족은 높다.
