조속기 시험 시스템의 자동화 (Automation of Governor Performance Test System)

  • Governors control the revolution speed of heat engines such as diesel engines, steam turbines and gas turbines. Precise and prompt tests for the control performances of governors are essential both in governors' manufacturing processes and in governors' maintenance processes. In the conventional governor test systems controlled by analog type electronic controllers, the incorporation of heat engine's dynamics to the test system have been considered very difficult to realize. This study suggests a new governor test system controlled by a digital controller using a personal computer. The application of the digital controller to the test system instead of the analog type electronic controller have brought about the following advancements; (1) heat engine's dynamics could be implemented easily in the test system, (2) automatic test data acquisition both in steady state and in transient state enables us to save test time and to enhance the reliability of the tests.

  • In this study, test standards were developed for performance verification of the high speed(350km/h) rolling-stock. The performance test system consist of three type tests; the component test for core item, the completed car test for combined function & operation and the trial driving test for compatibility & interrelationship with infrastructure.

  • Semi-active cabin air suspension system improves driver's comfort by controlling the damping characteristics in accordance with driving situation. For the driver's comfort evaluation, test procedure has the two methodologies which are filed test and lab test. A field test method has a drawback. It requires a lot of time and money on repetitive test, due to the sensitivity of field test. On the other hand, the test with six axes simulation table at laboratory can obtain the repeatability of test, better than the field test method. In this paper, the procedures of ride performance test and control logic tuning with the table are presented. Drive files of the table can be represented with the almost same input condition as field test data. According to the result from the comparative test using six axes simulation table between passive and semi-active system by making ECU logic tuning, the RMS acceleration of semi-active cabin air suspension system was reduced by 29.6% compared with passive system.

  • A seeder monitoring system was developed to remove the uneasiness of mis-sowing that drop operations efficiency at sowing-work and to make reliable and stable work. The objectives of this study are to investigate that the system developed is applicable to sowing soybean seeds and scattering fertilizer and to evaluate performance of the system developed through the indoor test and the indoor test and the field test before it is propelled to put the system developed to practical use.

  • This paper describes the evaluation of structural integrity and dynamic characteristic of inertial load test equipments for performance test of railway vehicle propulsion control system. The propulsion control system of railway vehicle has to be confirmed of safety and reliability prior to it's application. Therefore, inertial load test equipments were designed through theoretical equation for performance test of propulsion control system. The structural analysis of inertial load test equipments was conducted using Ansys v11.0 and it's dynamic characteristic was evaluated the designed using Adams. The results showed that the structural integrity of inertial load test equipment was satisfied with a safety factor of 10.2. Also, the structural stability was proved by maximum dynamic displacement of 0.82mm.

  • 본 논문에서는 KSLV-I 상단조립체에 대하여 수행된 시스템 인증수준의 전자파시험에서 GPS 수신기 시스템을 위한 시험 구성 및 운용 방법을 소개하고 성능분석 결과를 기술한 다. GPS 수신기 시스템은 이미 단품 수준에서 수차례의 설계 변경을 통하여 MIL-STD-461E 기준으로 규정된 KSLV-I 상단 전자장비 시험 규격을 만족함을 확인하였다. 시스템 인증수준으로 수행된 전자파시험에서 GPS 수신기 시스템은 다른 탑재물들과의 전자파적 간섭에도 정상적으로 동작하였으며 전계필드 입사 및 정전기 방전의 조건에서도 성능저하가 발생하지 않아 KSLV-I 상단 전자파환경 조건에서의 동작성이 검증되었다.

  • Dedicated outdoor air(DOA) system which conditions the outdoor air separately is superior to conventional Cooling + reheating system with respect to energy consumption and indoor comfort. Since the sensible and latent load characteristics of indoor and outdoor are different, it is more efficient to treat them separately. In this study, cycle analysis and on-site performance test of DOA system have been conducted. The study shows that DOA requires 50% less equivalent energy than the conventional system. The on-site performance test of a prototype shows that the coefficient of performance(COP) of the DOA system is 37% higher than the conventional system.

  • This paper described the Performance test and sound characteristics of helicopter 'Tail-Fan' anti-torque system. In this research, Korea Aerospace Research Institute(KARI) developed 'Tail-Fan' anti-torque system for a helicopter and carried out performance and sound capturing tests of even and uneven tail fans. The performance test is carried out and the noise signals which are generated during the test are saved with microphones at the same time. The performance test's results meet the design requirements. Tone-corrected perceived noise level is reduced by replacing the even product with the uneven one.

소형 축류터빈의 상온 성능시험기 개발 (Development of a Test Facility for Cold-air Performance of Small Axial Turbine)

  • The main goal of the present study is to establish the techniques and methodolgies of turbine performance test through evaluating the objective turbine test piece, and checking the reliability of the self-developed test facility by performing a series of turbine tests under ambient temperature condition. A high speed coupling, a lubrication system and a test bed of the test facility were modified through a series of preliminary test in order to reduce the vibration and oil leakage. The flowrate control of the test facility and data acquisition were accomplished by using a software called "Labview" The measurement of shaft horse power and control of rotational speed according to the conditions of turbine rotation were performed by a separate system. The preliminary evaluation of the measured data suggests that the developed test facility and the test technique can be used reliably for the performance test of turbines with the minor improvement.provement.

  • As a process of development of composite beam-column connection system, structural tests have been conducted to verify moment resisting performance of the system. The tests have been proceeded by two steps, the first being welding performance test of the steel connection rod and stiffners, and the second overall moment resisting capacity of the fuly assembled system. Ten welding test specimens and four prototype specimens have been used in the test. Good structural performance of welding test specimens has been observed without any single welding failure, and sufficient moment resisting capacity has been proved from the overall performance test, with the moment magnitude in excess of the calculated plastic moment.
