The production environment of fast and accurate news video has been continuously changing together with technology advance. Especially, the editing of the news video advanced focusing on the non-linear system by the introduction of digital technology and the recording of news video advanced to 'tapeless' base. In this new news video production environment, the recorded news videos are transmitted, edited and archived through the NPS (Network Production System), which dramatically improves the efficiency of the news video production. However, there are some issues which need to be resolved in the introduction of NPS. The purpose of this research is to identify the necessity of NPS introduction in the changing news video production environment, explore the issues which should be resolved and suggest the proper way to introduce the NPS to broadcasting companies.

In the public sector, the number of interior construction projects is continuously increasing. When the interior construction is carried out, it is largely divided into design and construction stages. On the other hand, in order to place an order in the public sector, it requires institutional conditions such as business type, price criterion, award criteria, and guarantees. But in th case of interior design, it is necessary to establish a basis law to be applied for ordering. Therefore, this study analysed the necessity of improving the system related to the interior design order in the public sector and suggested ways to improve the system. In the future, we will continue to conduct research based on this research, and if institutional improvement is made through the proposed methodology, it will be possible to apply effectively not only in the public sector but also in the private sector.

The supply chain not only includes the manufacturer and suppliers, but also transporters, warehouses, retailers, and customers themselves. Within each organization, such as manufacturer, the supply chain includes all functions involved in filling a customer request. these functions include, but are not limited to, new product development, marketing, operation, distribution, finance, and customer service. Lean Supply chain coordination improves if all supplier of chain take actions that together increase total supply chain profits. To design of Modularity by the grouping supplier, the proposed method is to develop the most appropriate production system models in the Supply Chain Management which is necessity of the times and its importance. The objects of this study is development of model and cost analysis to the modular production system in Lean SCM. Introduction of modular production system in Lean SCM is effective in reducing the cost in processing, manufacturing, inventory holding, ordering, etc.

Precast Concrete apartments were main stream of domestic industrialized housing around 90's , and Steel Houses applying Steel Stud technique with light weighted steel have been dominant portion since 1995. On the other hand, various building techniques including Steel Stud method and highly prefabricated and industrialized Unit method are prevailing in developed countries like Japan. Steel stud and Unit Box have their own merits an demerits, but the more crucial aspect is that the constant design standard should be applied in each design procedure. It entails the necessity of industrial housing development on the Open System basis. In this study, the design standard for Unit house will be established coping with the established preparing standard for design specifications defined by Architectural Law and Promotion Law of Housing Construction. That is for design standard of industrialized private housing on the Open System basis.

At present, the necessity of new design guidelines, evaluation and operation system for school facilities are on the rise according to re-edition of school curriculum in Korea. Moreover, it is necessary to procedure of the design, an institutional device and an ex post facto evaluation system for school facilities as a public building with the space planning that is suitable for various situations, which are able to collect users' various demands and opinions. Under the present situation, England has introduced and operated DQI system for the users' participation design of its. The present study will derive the meaning DQI system of England and how to operate it, and percuss the possibility of the application of design procedure of the education facilities in Korea.

High Speed permanent magnet machines are currently being developed for a number of applications including gas turbine power plants, air conditioning systems, machine tools, gas pumps, high performance vacuum pumps, flywheel energy storage systems, aircraft fuel pumps, and so on. Using a high-speed machine eliminates the necessity of the mechanical gearbox and could certainly increase the system efficiency and reduce the total cost. In addition, a high-speed machine has the advantage of small dimension and low weight, i.e. low weight to power and volume to power ratio. This paper presents a review of some important applications (mostly still under development) where high-speed machines arc used, highlighting the advantages of the technology in each case.

The necessity of a short period of software development with lower cost came out. The reason of making the component based development is that it can improve the software development , productivity maintenance , and software quality innovatively. Following these advantages of component based application development methods, we found the COM based components effective to Window platform in the satellite surveying. In this paper, we can obtain many precious engineering experiences. Software system development and maintenance will take much shorter time with higher reusability if satellite surveying system is constructed with component extraction proposed by us.

A lot of conventional automotive components driven by mechanical power source are being replated with electrical ones to comply with the demands of market and customer, therefore the amount of electric energy used in a vehicle will be increased continuously. The increment of electric power demand causes interest on new higher power system such as 42V Power Net, and furthermore necessity for development of energy storage device is highlighted recently. This paper presents the design of the BLDC motor drive for Cooling Fan in 42V automotive system. Test results confirmed the feasibility of the proposed motor drive system design.

As large structures such as highrise buildings and cable-stayed bridges become lighter and more flexible, the necessity of structural control for reducing excessive displacement and acceleration due to seismic excitation is increased. As a means to minimize seismic damages, various base isolation systems are adopted or considered for adoption. In this study, the seismic performance of M dampers are studied and compared with that of the NZ system as a base isolation system As the control algorithm of the MR damper, the clipped-optimal control(applied LQR method) is employed. A five-story building is modeled and the seismic performance of the two systems subjected to three different earthquakes is compared. The results show that the M damper system can provide superior protection than the NZ system for a wide range of ground motions.
