An Enhanced University Registration Model Using Distributed Database Schema

  • A big database utilizes the establishing network technology, and it became an emerging trend in the computing field. Therefore, there is a necessity for an optimal and effective data distribution approach to deal with this trend. This research presents the practical perspective of designing and implementing distributed database features. The proposed system has been establishing the satisfying, reliable, scalable, and standardized use of information. Furthermore, the proposed scheme reduces the vast and recurring efforts for designing an individual system for each university, as well as it is effectively participating in solving the course equivalence problem. The empirical finding in this study shows the superiority of the distributed system performance based on the average response time and the average waiting time than the centralized system. The system throughput also overcomes the centralized system because of data distribution and replication. Therefore, the analyzed data shows that the centralized system thrashes when the workload exceeds 60%, while the distributed system becomes thrashes after 81% workload.

  • Currently, the necessity of inter-system integration and sharing system increases to additionally construct and efficiently utilize the geographical information data in accordance with the increase in demand for geographical information. The provision of the data within the domestic sharing system is led by the tasks within national geographical information distribution network or intra-local governmental combined system. However, any voluntary geographical information sharing cooperation body is increasingly required with the increase in necessity of administrative cooperation among neighboring metropolitan areas, including space planning and development. Accordingly, this study is aimed at looking into the constitutions and roles of cooperation bodies within metropolitan areas by the composition, distribution, update and management of data with special regard to overseas advanced cases whose sharing systems and their effects are highly evaluated, and at presenting any model of the domestic future voluntary sharing cooperation organization within metropolitan area.

  • Sptaio-temporal databases are important to store the real-time location information of large spatio-temporal objects efficiently and retrieve them rapidly. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a spatio-temporal data model that is able to efficiently manage historical spatio-temporal objects that change dynamically their states as time. Also, various spatio-temporal operations and constraint conditions are defined to keep integrity of spatio-temporal data and spatio-temporal operations.

  • Korea animation industry has a face with many difficulties even if the worldwide animation industry is booming stage. The funding of korea animation industry has been getting decreased from the outside which are ordinary investors and government since 'Wonderful Days' showed on the screen in 2003 didn't has enough box-office profits. In this kinds of circumstance, Animation producers should check out the current production system very closely and restructure improvement factors resolutely. It is very important issue that the serious problems that have been repeated in the past like the absence of planning skill and saving time and money through the improvement of production system. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is to check out the whole production process used in the current 30 animation industry and analyzes problems, show the necessity of the production management program that makes a given condition of the effective production system in 3d animation.

A Study on the Current State and the Necessity of Institutionalization of Tattooing for Beauty Purposes (미용 목적의 문신시술행위에 대한 현황 및 제도화 필요성에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to identify existing legal limitations on tattooing for beauty purposes and to suggest legalization of tattooing for beautician and necessity of institutionalization for the professional qualification system. The results of depth interviews from 10 experts in the field of beauty and law and survey from 101 respondents who experienced with tattooing are as follows. First, 10 experts pointed out that the law does not reflect reality considering the fact that a number of procedures are made illegal, and suggested opinions of the introduction of the professional qualification system. Second, only 15.7 percent of procedures had been conducted by a doctor, and non-medical practitioners showed higher quality of procedure, satisfaction, and recommendation. Side effects do not differ between groups, and 73.7% of the respondents answered that the qualification system is necessary. This study empirically supports the need for improvement in government policies that reflect social awareness of tattooing for beauty purposes.

  • Quantitative rise and qualitative seriousness in crime have limitation to preventing crime just with public police security. Ultimately, in order for private security guard to fulfill the duty of preventing crime, its members' excellent quality and ability need to be preceded. This change in the environment of crime prevention came to demand professionalism in the security field. Furthermore, it became an opportunity of being emerged the necessity of specialist qualification. For this, first, there is a need of reinforcing the public confidence of the security guard association, and of vitalizing a certificate of qualification. Second, qualification functions as linking education and labor market. Thus, many qualification acquisitors need to strengthen direction that the security guard company can reflect and utilize this. Third, there is a need of positively supplementing the result of utilizing qualification or the insufficient management system so that the private security guard qualification system can be recognized as the qualification system of being authorized by the country.

A study on understanding the deduction system in the proof (증명에서 연역 체계 이해에 관한 연구)

  • To help students understand the deduction system in the proof, we analyzed the textbook on mathematics at first. As results, we could find that the textbook' system of deduction is similar with the Euclid' system of deduction. The starting point of deduction is different with each other. But the flow of deduction match with each other. Next, we searched for the example of circular argument and analyzed. As results, we classified the circular argument into two groups. The first is an internal circular argument which is a circular argument occurred in a theorem. The second is an external circular argument which is a circular argument occurred between many theorems. We could know that the flow of deduction system is consistent in internal-external dimension. Lastly, we proposed the desirable teaching direction to help students understand the deduction system in the proof.

  • To keep enterprise's competitiveness on condition of the automatic manufacturing system such as FA, FMS and CIM, all the maintenance problems should be considered seriously in not only production and maintenance but also related industrial safety. As we analyze in the surveys for the maintenance management of domestic enterprises and the causes of Industrial accident, there will be necessity of drawing up countermeasures for prevention of industrial accidents and for ensuring expertise maintenance technologies. Based on these analyses, this study studied the safety information system, maintenance management information system, and the machinery condition diagnosis technique by using of the knowledge-based system under the internet environment. This web based knowledge-based diagnosis system can easily provide not only the knowledge of expert about deterioration phenomenon of industrial robot, but also the knowledge of relating safety and facility on everywhere, everytime. Therefore, when we use this system, it is expected to improve the efficiency of business processes in the production and safety.

  • Purpose of the grounding system design are establish a safe environment for personnel as well as the general public in the vicinity of the power system equipment, and establish a low resistance connection to earth such that protective devices detect and isolate faults quickly and potential rise of the grounding system does not exceed a value which could damage electrical equipment. This paper deals with the grounding system design for the electric facilities. In this paper, emphasize the necessity of the computer programs for the grounding system designs. Especially, earth soil models for the grounding system design are must used two-layered soil model.

  • According to the increase of internet application, the marketing process as well as the research and survey, the education process, and administration of government are very depended on web bases. All kinds of goods and sales which are traded on the internet shopping malls are extremely increased. So, the necessity of automatically intelligent information system is shown, this system manages web site connected users for effective marketing. For the recommendation system which can offer a fit information from numerous web contents to user, we propose an automatic recommendation system which furnish necessary information to connected web user using statistical learning theory and bayesian fuzzy clustering. This system is called collaborative CRM in this paper. The performance of proposed system is compared with the other methods using real data of the existent shopping mall site. This paper shows that the predictive accuracy of the proposed system is improved by comparison with others.
