다중 정보를 활용하는 차량 모니터링 시스템의 구현 (Implementation of a Vehicle Monitoring System using Multimodal Information)

  • 차량의 각종 안전장치 및 운전자 모니터링 장치에서 운전자의 상태를 파악하려 할 때는 운전자, 자동차, 도로 환경의 측정 변수들이 통합적으로 수집되고 해석되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 운전 상황을 통합적이고 종합적으로 분석하기 위하여 일정한 시간 주기로 운전자, 차량, 도로 주변 환경과 같은 다양한 영역으로부터 데이터를 동기화하여 수집하는 실시간 차량 모니터링 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 소프트 동기화 메커니즘으로 다중 정보를 동기화하여 수집한다. 이는 하나의 마스터 시간과 차량 상태와 운전자 상태 등의 다양한 영역의 데이터들의 키 값들을 동일한 시간 주기로 하나의 파일에 저장하고, 각각 다양한 영역의 데이터들은 저장할 때 마스터 시간과 함께 저장함으로써 후에 특정 시간에 운전 상황을 쉽게 찾아 볼 수 있게 한다. 본 논문에서는 구현된 시스템으로 9명의 피험자의 인지 부하 실험에서 데이터를 수집하는 예를 보인다.

  • ETSI(European Telecommunications Standards Institute) 300 34701, ITU-T(International Telecommunication Union) G.965 recommended PSTN, CONTROL, LINK CONTROL, BCC, PROTECTION protocols on V-Interfaces. But it is possible to occur misalignment between LE(Local Exchange) and AN(Access Network), especially in link identification procedure because there isn't any comment about V5.2 system management. In this paper we propose S/W guard timer to improve reliability in V5.2 link identification procedure in scope of Recommendation.

  • WCDMA 시스템에서 radio link간에 data를 주고 받고 신뢰성 있는 data를 검증하는 layer가 RLC이다. RLC에서는 전송 측에서 전송한 data가 수신 측에 잘 전송이 되었는지 status report를 확인을 받고 전송이 이루어지지 않았을 경우 재전송을 한다. 재전송 메커니즘에는 poll 및 status 관련 timer가 존재하면 이러한 파라미터값을 적절히 사용하지 않으면 불필요한 data의 재전송으로 인한 radio resource 낭비 및 시스템 throughput에 영향을 준다.

  • A simple hybrid circuit to control the two-phase AC motor of the nut-runners which employ the tightening torque control system is described in this paper. The circuit has emphasis on the low-cost implementation. The circuit constitutes of the V/F converter using a timer IC, the pulse width modulator using the fastening torque signal and the two-phase logic sequencer.

  • In this paper, we proposed small scale real-time operating system for embedded system. Real-time system is characterized by the severe consequences that result if logical as well as timing correctness properties of system are not met. On real-time system, real-time operating system allows real-time applications to be designed and expanded easily. Functions can be added without requiring major changes to the software. We design small scale real-time operating system for preemptive kernel, and design kernel component such as multitasking, scheduler, task priority, semaphore, inter-task communication, clock tick timer, ISR(Interrupt Service Routine) mechanism has low interrupt latency.

  • A crank angle-based engine control system has been developed for use as an engine research tool to provide precise control of the fuel injection(timing and duration) and ignition(timing and dwell) in real-time. The engine event information is provided by the engine shaft encoder, and the engine control system uses this information to generate spark and injector control signals for relevant cylinders. Eight different engine types and four different rotary encoder resolutions can be accommodated by this system. Also this system allows a user to individually control the ignition and fuel injection for each cylinder in a simple manner such as through a keyboard or in a real-time operation from a closed-loop control program.

  • Personal computer based measurement and control system was constructed and tested in order to fiexibly apply it to laboratoy experiments in which environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, pH, DO and gases should be measured and controlled. Personal computer FC-80 was successively interfaced to the input-output system made up of PPI, A/D converter, D/A converter, programmable timer and USART boards. To test the system, pH control experiment was executed and the pH of the solution could be measured, expressed on the monitor and controlled at constant value.

  • In this paper, we have developed the web-based management system for greenhouse teleoperation. The remote control system consists of database, web-server, controller in greenhouse, and clients. The database in the server stores user informations and greenhouse conditions, and is used to manage user login and conditioning data. The management system developed by using Java applet, which is a client program for effective and easy management of greenhouse, monitors the greenhouse in real time. Master and driver boards installed in greenhouse control unit. Database on flowering to collect and analyze data exchanges data with the server. The greenhouse can be managed effectively by timer routine, repeat control within setting time, and algorithm of setting points. Also, the greenhouse conditions can be controlled by manual or remote controller (PC) through web browser in internet. Furthermore, all of the control devices of the greenhouse are managed by remote control using PC and checked via camera installed in greenhouse.
