An Experiment of Traceability-Driven System Testing

  • Traceability has been held as an important factor in testing activities as well as model-driven development. Vertical traceability affords us opportunities to improve manageability from models and test cases to a code in testing and debugging phase. This paper represents a vertical test method which connects a system test level and an integration test level in testing stage by using UML. An experiment how traceability works to effectively focus on error spots has been included by using concrete examples of tracing from models to the code.

The Effect of Trade Integration on Business Cycle Synchronization in East Asia

  • The paper aims to investigate the impact of trade integration on business cycle synchronization for the East Asian countries during 2005- 2017 based on the endogeneity hypothesis of Optimum Currency Area criteria. We test the determinants of business cycles by calculating bilateral trade, financial integration, and business cycle synchronization. Applying the system Generalized Method of Moments for dynamic panel data models, the results show that business cycle synchronization is highly associated with trade and financial integration. These findings confirm the endogeneity hypothesis that more trade integration will mitigate asymmetric shocks, and have a positive impact on the business cycle synchronization. The increased trade intensity and financial linkage lead to more correlated business cycles in East Asia. Apart from trade and financial integration, the trade structure differential, monetary policy similarity also influence the business cycle comovement. The significantly negative impact of trade structure differential on business cycle synchronization suggests that countries with less similar structures are more likely to undergo asymmetric shocks. The results also indicate that monetary policy matters for output comovement. This study recommends that the East Asian countries should focus on bilateral trade as well as financial integration with each other to reap benefits from the integration process.

  • 대양을 운항하는 선박들의 효율적이고 안전한 운항 관리를 위해 국제 해상법적 환경이 강화되고 있으며, 선박과 육상간의 정보 공유에 대한 요구가 증대하고 있다. 이에 따라 디지털 선박, 선박 통합화 플랫폼, 선박 통합화 네트워크에 대한 연구가 미국과 유럽 등에서 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 선박 통합화 플랫폼을 연구하고, 선박 통합화 시스템 구축의 핵심이 되는 선박 통합화 네트워크의 설계 및 구현을 수행하였다. 선박 내 각종 시스템 및 기기들을 계층별 네트워크를 구성하고 통합화 프로토콜을 설계하였으며, 선박 통합 정보들을 표준화된 플랫폼으로 관리하고 필요한 정보를 선박-육상 네트워크를 통해 육상으로 전송하여 육상에서 관리 및 지원이 가능한 시스템을 구현하였다. 또한 설계${\cdot}$구현된 선박 통합화 시스템을 실제 운용중인 선박에 적용하여 시스템의 신뢰성 및 선박-육상간의 지원체계의 효용성을 확인하였다.

  • 발사체 개발사업에서 SI(System integration) 업무란 SI 주관부서로 입고된 발사체 각 부분체들을 시험 및 검사를 통한 적절한 품질관리와 병행하면서 조립하여 하나의 완성된 발사체를 조립하고, 실제로 발사 임무를 수행하는 과정이다. 우주발사체 SI업무는 어느 한 부서의 독립적인 업무가 아니라 모든 기능부서 및 협력업체의 자발적인 협력이 필요한 종합업무이다. 본 문서는 발사체 사업단의 SI업무를 기술함으로서, 발사체 사업에 참여한 기능부서와 협력업체들로 하여금 SI 업무에 대한 이해를 돕는 뿐만 아니라, 실제 SI 업무에서 좀더 효율적인 협업을 위해서 작성되었으며, 이 후 기능부서와 협력업체와의 지속적인 협의를 통해 구체화 될 것이다.

  • In the previous development of the recursive thermostat chained fully flexible cell molecular dynamics simulation, implicit time integration method such as generalized leapfrog integration is used. The implicit algorithm is very much complicated and not easy to show time reversibility because it is solved by the nonlinear iterative procedure. Thus we develop simple, explicit symplectic time integration formula for the recursive thermostat chained fully flexible unit cell simulation. Uniaxial tension test is performed to verify the present explicit algorithm. We check that the present simulation satisfies the ergodic hypothesis for various values of fictitious mass and coefficient of multiple thermostat system. The proposed method should be helpful to predict mechanical and thermal behavior of nano-scale structure.

  • The CPS provides data with long-term stability independent of passed time and the INS provides high-rate data with short-term stability. By integrating these complementary systems, a highly accurate navigation system can be achieved. In this paper, a loosely-coupled GPS/INS integration system is designed. It is a simple structure and is easy to implement and preserves independent navigation capability of GPS and INS. The integration system consists of a NCU, an IMU, a GPS receiver, and a monitoring system. The navigation algorithm in the NCU is designed under the multi-tasking environment based on a real-time kernel system and the monitoring system is designed using the Visual C++. The integrated Kalman filter is designed as a feedback formed 15-state filter, in which the states are position errors, velocity errors, attitude errors and sensor bias errors. The van test result shows that the integrated system provides more accurate navigation solution then the inertial or the GPS-alone navigation system.

  • This study is in a part of requirements validation plan for korean rubber-tired AGT system on test track. The AGT system is consisted subsystems as vehicle, signalling, communication, power distribution and infrastructure for rubber tire running on track. The subsystems will be installed and integrated on test track till next year for test and evaluation. This paper shows overview for test and evaluation in terms of system requirements and its validation classification, test track configuration, measuring system requirements and its configuration. The whole process of system integration and its validation will be controlled by means of KMS including documentation.

  • The conformity of propulsion system need to be evaluated thorough the flight test because it is an important part of the airplane to ensure the flight safety. In the small airplane development, the flight test according to KAS(Korean Airworthiness Standards) Part 23 is one of the ways to verify compliance in terms of satisfactory aircraft/engine/propeller integration. This thesis introduces means of verifying the compliance and test requirement of KAS Part 23 for the conformity of the propulsion system in small airplane. It also describes procedures and methods of propulsion system flight test through KC-100 airplane project.

  • This paper describes the results of the development of the the unmanned aerial vehicle system integration laboratory(UAV SIL) for the integrated verification. This UAV SIL is designed to test the robustness of the UAV system including the operational logics and the flight control system behaviors under many abnormal and emergency conditions such as data-link losses, airborne subsystem failures, engine shut down conditions, and ground control station faults. This paper presents how to build the UAV SIL and how to verify the in-development UAV system through the UAV SIL.

통합시험환경 모델 검증 자동화 설계 (Design of Automatic Model Verification for System Integration Laboratory)

  • 항공전자시스템을 개발하는 과정에서 개별 구성품의 기능 및 연동 검증을 위한 통합시험환경(SIL; system integration laboratory)을 구성한다. 이러한 SIL의 구성품 개별 검증 및 시스템 통합 시 각 탑재장비의 기능 및 연동을 모의하는 SIL 모델을 개발하여 이용한다. SIL 모델은 실 장비와 연동되기 전 연동통제문서(ICD; interface control document)에 정의된 모든 데이터에 대해 선 검증되어야하며 ICD 변경 혹은 기능 변경 발생 시에도 재 검증되어야한다. 하지만 SIL모델의 검증의 수동 수행 시 개별 SIL모델의 검증에도 상당한 시간이 소요된다. 이러한 시간상의 문제로 ICD 변경이나 일부 기능 변경 시에는 SIL 모델의 영향성을 판단하여 선택적 회귀시험이 이루어지곤 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 SIL 모델의 검증에 소요되는 시간을 최소화하여 회귀시험 수행 시 모든 시험항목의 검증이 가능하도록 SIL 모델 검증 자동화 방안을 설계하고 설계에 따른 SIL 모델 검증 자동화도구를 개발하여 SIL 모델 검증자동화 설계의 유용성을 검증하였다.
