None of us need to be reminded that these are exceedingly times. The evidence in all about us. Between rising costs and lowering prices, many businesses find profits being depressed almost to the vanishing point. The eating out food business is in just such a profit squeeze. Our ability to compete depends not only on our ability to control the price-cost picture, but to improve its kitchen product system. A kitchen product system is incomplete without a series of built-in improvement procedures. They must be a key part of the system. "improvement" means the continual betterment of all aspects of the operation-its personnel, products, sales, and its costs. These improvements create profits. This study is devoted to a discussion of the application of research methods and techniques to develop of modern kitchen system through the job standardization. Their use in executing other responsibilities related to the process of kitchen system improvement will also be seen. The steps of setting objectives, gathering data, analyzing and interpreting data, and arriving at solutions, conclusions, and/or recommendations are briefly out lined. The material presented emphasizes the need for an improved and systematic approach to the study of problems. It is also implied, of not stated, that the process should not become so mechanical that the principles of creativity are violated. The foregoing steps suggest a systematic approach to kitchen system improvement, finding solutions to problems, improving work methods, instituting changes, followting up on work related to the change. This study has been limited to the truly important points related to each step in the process, it will undoubtedly call to mind other factors for consideration, however, believe that the principles and approach suggested in this study will bring about better methods and improve kitchen operating results.g results.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to develop the qualification system for training of Quality improvement professionals who work for improving patients' safety and healthcare quality. Methods : Based on the various laws and regulations, and the operational status of other professionals' qualification systems, a basic plan of professional qualification system of QI was drawn. And through meetings with QI experts, the final scheme of the concrete qualification system was developed. Results : For management of professionals's certification or qualification, fairness and reliability are important. To do this, setting the official standard, providing a standardized training program and having appropriate qualification test are required. In order to operate the qualification system strategically, 1) the introduction step, 2) dissemination and expansion step, and 3) fusing step should be considered. As a governing body for QI specialists' qualification, 'QI professionals' qualification Center (tentative)' must have the committee to assure fairness, professionalism, and reliability. In addition, 'QI Experts Certification Department (tentative)" to develop standards for the qualification tests and conduct the tests program,' QI experts Education Department (tentative name)" must be able to operate and maintain the QI training for professional qualifications. QI professional qualification exam must be taken by everyone regardless of age, gender, race, occupation, education, and work experience. The examination should include management, leadership, strategic planning and design, quality management, health care information, patient safety culture. Practical training courses can have three step programs; beginning, intermediate and special level. Conclusion : The QI qualification system need strategic approaches for the experts working for healthcare quality improvement and patient safety. It should include the program of standardized contents and test, and operating protocol of the qualificaton system.

Purpose: Until now, the process was improved by the needs of experimenters personally. But recently, suggestion system in hospital has been activated in various ways. So the department of nuclear medicine laboratory is also aware of the need of operation improvement using suggestion system. It is intend to assist in the development by sharing excellent suggestion cases with other hospitals. Material & Method: A total of 124 suggestion cases from January 2007 to March 2010 were analyzed. Suggestion cases were divided into customer satisfaction, cost reduction, improved testing methods, equipment, environmental improvement, and computational system. Result: Suggestion cases of environmental improvement and computational system were accounted for 26.6% as 33 cases, respectively. Suggestion for customer satisfaction is 25.8% as 32 in a total of 124 cases. Conclusion: Activation of the awareness of operation improvement is induced by suggestion system. By securing system of operation improvement, employees' ideas can lead to the production and systematization. Furthermore, it enhances hospital competitiveness and promotes the development of the hospital.

As the Internet facilitates the rapid increase of information availability, the study on SDI service that provides users with relevant document in a timely manner has been developed. However, the practical use of this service has been low. This thesis aims at analyzing the reasons for this and developing relevance feedback based SDI system to improve the performance of the existing SDI system. Experimental systems that are developed for this study are SDI system based on users' minimum intervention feedback, SDI system based on perfect automation feedback, and SDI system based on users' maximum intervention feedback. The fourth system that utilizes the traditional SDI system is also studied to evaluate the level of performance improvement of the newly developed three types of SDI system. As a result of this study, SDI system based on users' maximum intervention feedback showed greatest performance improvement. The next performance improvement happened in order of SDI system based on perfect automation feedback, SDI system based on users' minimum intervention feedback, and the traditional SDI system. Feedback based systems showed greater performance improvement as they went through more feedback processes.

Certification of product means that the process and result in which the verification of required performance of each product was done. For this, advanced countries have established their product certification system. This paper summarize the status of foreign railway product certification system and give out meaningful considerations. Moreover, problems of domestic railway product certification system will be discussed and requirements for the improvement of the system will be proposed.

The anisotropic pressure distribution of the hydrodynamic bearing may generate the unstable vibration phenomenon over a certain speed. These vibrations, known as whirl, whip or rotor instability, cannot be sustained over a wide range of rotational spees. Besides these vibrations not only perturb the normal operation of a rotating machine, but may also cause serious damage to the machinery system. And, it is really impossible to change one parameter without changing others, or difficult to fabricate the modified non-circular type bearing, with all the other cures used just now, In this study, hybrid bearing with magnetic exciter is designed for stability improvement of hydrodynamic bearing rotor system without changing mechanical parameters. For stability study, eigenvalue study of the bearing-rotor system is executed by finite element method and results of analyses and experiments show the possibilities of the stability improvement of the hydrodynamic bearing system by using the electricmagnetic force.

We assess service delivery system for outpatients of general hospital(A) using service blueprint. Service blueprint for outpatients' service process currently being implemented in general hospital(A) is analysed to improve hospital services and define hospital service delivery system more accurately. In addition, comparative analysis of service blueprint between before and after improvement is conducted to find that health care services Is now more customer-oriented and hospital employees can link their duties to service delivery system. Dealing with the efficiency of health care service delivery system based on service blueprint analysis is expected to pave the way for continual service quality improvement of general hospitals in the future. The analysis of service blueprint of outpatients' service process suggested in this study is useful for setting strategies for health care service. It also helps service process design and service digitalization of other general hospitals in the future.

In this study, PSD system to improve the soft ground was developed by using a horizontal drainage pipe. PSD system is direct drain method for the disappearance of excess pore-water pressure which is caused by fill on soft ground. To conduct the field test construction in order to evaluate application of the PSD system. To estimate the behavior characteristics on settlement in which constructed by PSD system and compared the behavior characteristics with the conventional soft ground improvement method result.

The national subway went under construction in 1971, and after three years of endeavor, Seoul subway line number one opened for traffic in 1974. Line number two went under construction in 1978 and it opened for traffic in 1984. With the use of safety operation for more than 20 years, the life cycle nearly came to an end. Therefore the improvements for the safety operation are unavoidable. The total system should not be affected when the new and conventional systems are overlapped, the system operation is in the initial stage, and it confronts the situation of abnormal operation. However, there is a total lack of experience in construction and improvement for the trains that are in the use of large transport and density headway. In this paper, we propose an improvement method of the subway signalling system using ATO (Automatic Train Operation control scheme) to which the latest Digital ATC is applied, and examine the first application model of ATO system.

Ventilation system is being recommended as an effective tool to improve indoor air quality (IAQ) in apartment houses. Recently, in Korea, apartment house suppliers must establish ventilation system in apartment houses in law. In this study, improvement of IAQ by establishing mechanical ventilation system at apartment house was investigated by mockup test. Seven apartment houses were arranged for the test and improvement of IAQ was examined under the various conditions of ventilation rates, ventilator type and duct works. The results of this study show that IAQ in the test houses which were established mechanical ventilation system was improved about from 30% to 40% compared with IAQ in the apartment house which was not established ventilation system. However, there were no apparent concentration differences between the cases of changing ventilation rates, ventilator types and ductworks.
