최적의 프로필렌/프로판 흡착 분리 성능을 가지는 흡착제의 개발 전략들 (Design Strategies for Adsorbents with Optimal Propylene/propane Adsorptive Separation Performances)

  • 산업적으로 중요한 가치를 지니는 폴리프로필렌 합성의 원료인 프로필렌을 고순도로 얻기 위해서는 효율적인 프로필렌/프로판 분리 기술이 필요하다. 기존 증류 공정은 프로필렌과 프로판의 유사한 물리화학적 성질로 인해 매우 높은 에너지가 소모되기때문에, 흡착분리 기술이큰관심을받고있다. 본연구에서는 Grand Canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) 분자 모사를 활용하여 기공의 형태가 다른 두 종류의 유무기복합다공체(Metal-Organic Frameworks)의 빈금속배위자리(open metal sites) 흡착 강도를 임의로 조절하며 프로필렌/프로판 흡착 분리 성능의 변화를 조사하였다. 흡착 분리 성능은 작업 용량, 선택도, Adsorption Figure of Merit (AFM) 등으로 평가하였고, 이를 통해 흡착제가 최적의 프로필렌/프로판 분리 성능을 가지기 위해 필요한 흡착 사이트의 밀도 및 강도 그리고 온도 조건 등을 제시하였다.

다기능 금속산화물의 하수처리 적용-흡착 및 살균 (The application of multifunctional metal oxide for wastewater treatment: Adsorption and disinfection)

  • The physical treatment such as chemical precipitation or adsorption was usually added after biological treatment in wastewater treatment process since it was enforced to reduce the concentration of phosphate for wastewater effluent to 0.2 mg/L as P which was well known as one of main nutrient causing eutrophication in waterbody. Therefore, the new material functioned for both adsorption and disinfection was prepared with Fe and Cu, and $TiO_2$, respectively, by changing the ratio of concentration referred to tri-metal (TM). According to SEM-EDS, $TiO_2$ was 30~40% composition for any TM regardless of any synthesis condition. However, the ratio of composition for Fe and Cu was dependent on the initial Fe and Cu concentration, respectively. The removal efficiency of phosphate was obtained to 15% at low initial concentration and the maximum uptake (Q) was calculated to ~11 mg/g through Langmuir isotherm model using TM1 which was synthesized at 1000 mg/L, 1000 mg/L, and 2 g (10 g/L) for $Fe(NO_3)_3$, $Cu(NO_3)_2$, $TiO_2$, respectively. In disinfection test, the efficiency of virus removal using TM was increased with increase of dosage of TM and can be reached 98% at 0.2 g.

  • 본 논문에서는 기본 모드 원리를 침해하는 과도 고장이 존재하는 입력/출력 비동기 순차 회로의 내고장성 교정 제어 시스템을 제안한다. 비동기 순차 회로의 과도 천이 과정에서 발생하는 비-기본 모드 고장을 극복하기 위해서는 고장에 의한 상태 천이가 종료되는 시점을 알아야 하며, 회로를 고장 상태로부터 원래 도달해야 하는 상태와 출력 등가적인 상태로 보내기 위한 교정 동작을 구현해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 고장 탐지 및 극복을 구현할 수 있는 출력 피드백 교정 제어기의 존재 조건을 규명한다. FPGA 실험을 통해 제안된 제어 시스템의 설계 과정을 제시하고 응용 가능성을 검증한다.

포도송이가지 추출물의 항염증 및 미백효능에 대한 연구 (Studies on Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Melanogenic Effect of Grape Fruit Stem Extract)

  • Objectives : The various grape extracts derived from grape pulp, seed and skin, containing various types of polyphenols and flavonoids, have been known to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and improve cardiovascular condition as well as sun's damaging effects. However, there have been rare reports of various beneficial effects of grape fruit stem extract (GFSE), one of the waste products of grapes. We investigated anti-inflammatory and melanogenesis inhibitory effects of GFSE. Methods : One-hundred gram of grape fruit stem was extracted with 80% ethanol at room temperature for 3 days. After filtration, the ethanol was removed using vacuum evaporator, then lyophilized to obtain the dry extract which was stored at $-20^{\circ}C$ until used. NO levels were measured by using Greiss reagent. Prostaglandin $E_2$ ($PGE_2$) production was measured by ELISA assay. The expression levels of iNOS, COX-2, TRP-1 and TRP-2 were evaluated by western blot analysis. Results : GFSE reduced the level of nitric oxide and prostaglandin $E_2$ ($PGE_2$) production in a dose-dependent manner, compared to control. Expressions of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) protein were also effectively inhibited by the GFSE. In a tyrosinase inhibitory activity, GFSE significantly reduced the tyrosinase activity and melanin content in a dose dependent manner, compared to control. GFSE also decreased the expression of tyrosinase related protein-1 (TRP-1) and tyrosinase related protein-2 (TRP-2), known as a melanocyte-specific gene product involved in melanin synthesis. Conclusions : Therefore, these results indicated that GFSE had powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-melanogenic effects.

Digital Marketing in the Condition of Wartime Posture in Ukraine

  • Strengthening global geopolitical instability in the world leads to an aggravation of international conflicts; it destabilizes the domestic political situation in countries, violates the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, and also activates economic crime. The full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine and the deployment of military operations in a large territory of a sovereign country have created a number of destabilizing factors in the development of digital technologies and negatively affect the state and trends of digital marketing, which allows establishing interaction with a wide audience and facilitating the search for new customers in various places. The purpose of the research lies in substantiating the theoretical and applied principles for studying the features of digital marketing in the conditions of wartime posture in Ukraine. In the course of the research, general and special methods of economic analysis have been used and applied, namely: analysis and synthesis; analogies and comparisons; generalization and systematization; graphic and tabular methods. Regarding the results of the research of digital marketing in the conditions of wartime posture in Ukraine, it has been established that the intensification of the development of digital marketing is caused by the crisis phenomena of social-economic, social-political and military nature, as well as exacerbated by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been proven that highly developed countries use innovative digital technologies more effectively in the field of marketing, which indicates the importance of the Multidimensional Index of Digitization (the USA - MID: 0,92-0,92; the UK - MID: 0,80-0,97; Japan - MID: 0,80-0,88; Canada - MID: 0,78-0,81; Germany - MID: 0,78-0,88; France - MID: 0,72-0,76), however, the developing countries record much lower values (Ukraine - MID: 0,22-0,48). Accordingly, the level of cybersecurity in highly developed countries is also significantly higher than in transitive countries, in particular, in the United States (GCI: 0,919-0,999); Great Britain (GCI: 0,783-0,995); Canada (GCI: 0,818-0,978) and in Ukraine (GCI: 0,501-0,661).

극한 조건하에서 신물질 합성을 위한 양쪽 가열 레이저 가열 시스템 설치 및 운영 (Installation and Operation of a Double-Sided Laser Heating System for the Synthesis of Novel Materials Under Extreme Conditions)

  • 다양한 기능의 새로운 물질을 합성하고 정적 및 동적 특성을 조사하기 위해서는 매우 안정된 고온 및 고압 조건을 만드는 것이 중요하다. 새로운 물질을 제조하는 데 필요한 다이아몬드 엔빌 셀 (DAC)을 사용하여 Mbar 범위의 고압 조건은 이미 확보되었다. 이 연구에서는 DAC와 결합된 레이저 가열 시스템을 설계하였으며, DAC의 양쪽 방향에서 시료를 가열하기 위해 2 대의 1064 nm, 100 W 파이버 레이저를 사용했을 뿐만 아니라 3 대의 분광기를 사용하여 온도, 압력 및 라만 스펙트럼을 측정하였다. 고압 실험에서 시료를 가두는 구멍으로 일반적으로 사용되는 스테인리스 강 개스킷을 가열하여 열 방사선원을 만들고, 이 방사선원으로부터 방출되는 복사 스펙트럼을 획득하여 가열된 개스킷의 온도를 측정하였다. 이 기술을 적용하여 다양한 물질들을 만들고 극한 조건에서 물리적 특성을 조사 할 수 있다.

리튬이차전지 양극 분말 소재 위 탄소나노튜브의 직접 성장 거동 고찰 (Investigation of direct growth behavior of carbon nanotubes on cathode powder materials in lithium-ion batteries)

  • This study reports a direct growth of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on the surface of LiCoO2 (LCO) powders to apply as highly efficient cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries (LIB). The CNT synthesis was performed using a thermal chemical vapor deposition apparatus with temperatures from 575 to 625 ℃. Ferritin molecules as growth catalyst of CNTs were mixed in deionized (DI) water with various concentrations from 0.05 to 1.0 mg/mL. Then, the LCO powders was dissolved in the ferritin solution at a ratio of 1g/mL. To obtain catalytic iron nanoparticles on the LCO surface, the LCO-ferritin suspension was dropped in silicon dioxide substrates and calcined under air at 550℃. Subsequently, the direct growth of CNTs on LCO powders was performed using a mixture of acetylene (10 sccm) and hydrogen (100 sccm) for 10 min. The growth behavior was characterized by scanning and transmission electron microscopy, Raman scattering spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and thermogravimetric analysis. The optimized condition yielding high structural quality and amount of CNTs was 600 ℃ and 0.5 mg/mL. The obtained materials will be developed as cathode materials in LIB.

저온연소법에 의한 이산화티탄의 합성 및 메틸렌블루의 광촉매 분해반응 (Synthesis of Titanium Dioxides Using Low Temperature Combustion Method and Photocatalytic Decomposition of Methylene Blue)

  • 저온연소법을 이용하여 이산화티탄과 이트륨 이온이 첨가된 이산화티탄을 합성하였다. 합성조건에 따른 입자의 크기와 모양, 결정성 등에 미치는 영향을 알아보았고, 또한 제조된 촉매의 메틸렌블루의 광분해 활성을 조사하였다. XRD 분석 결과로부터 염기성 조건에서 합성된 경우에는 아나타제형 구조만 나타났으나 산성 및 중성에서는 아나타제와 루틸형이 혼합되어 나타났다. CA/TTIP 비에 관계없이 아나타제형 구조만 나타났으며, CA/TTIP 비가 증가할수록 입자의 크기는 작아지는 것을 볼 수 있다. 소성온도가 $600^{\circ}C$ 이상에서는 아나타제 결정구조가 루틸 결정구조로 변환되기 시작하였다. 한편, 입자들의 모양은 소성온도가 높아질수록 구형으로 변화되었으며, 입자의 크기가 증가하였다. 광촉매 반응의 활성은 CA/TTIP 몰비가 증가할수록, 염기성 조건에서 제조한 경우에 더 높게 나타났으며, $500^{\circ}C$에서 소성시킨 경우에 가장 높은 활성을 보여주었다. 그리고 1 mole% 이트륨 이온을 첨가 시킨 것이 가장 높은 광촉매 활성을 보여주었으며, 상업용 촉매인 P-25 경우보다 높은 활성을 보여주고 있다.

2-pyran-4-ylidene-malononitrile을 기본으로 하는 작은 Band Gap을 가지는 공중합체의 합성 및 광전변환 특성 (Synthesis and Photovoltaic Properties of Low Band Gap π-conjugated Polymers Based on 2-pyran-4-ylidene-malononitrile Derivatives)

  • Heck coupling reaction을 이용해서 poly[2-(2,6-dimethylpyran-4-ylidene)malononitrile-alt-1,4-bis(dodecyloxy)-2,5-divinylbenzene] (PM-PPV), poly[2-{2,6-Bis-[2-(5-bromothiophen-2-yl)-vinyl]-pyran-4-ylidene}-malononitrile-alt-1,4-bis(dodecyloxy)-2,5-divinylbenzene] (PMT-PPV), poly[2-[2,6-Bis-(2-{4-[(4-bromophenyl)-phenylamino]-phenyl}-vinyl)-pyran-4-ylidene]-malononitrile-alt-1,4-bis(dodecyloxy)-2,5-divinylbenzene] (PMTPA-PPV)를 합성하였다. PM-PPV, PMT-PPV, PMTPA-PPV의 band gap은 각각 2.18 eV, 1.90 eV, 2.07 eV로 나타났다. LUMO 에너지 준위는 각각 3.65 eV, 3.54 eV, 3.62 eV로 나타났고 HOMO 에너지 준위는 각각 5.83 eV, 5.61 eV, 5.52 eV이고 소자를 제작하여 측정한 결과는 AM 1.5 G [1 sun condition ($100mA/cm^2$)]에서의 효율은 0.028%, 0.031%, 0.11%이고 open-circuit voltage (Voc)는 0.59 V~0.69 V로 나타났다.

Physiological Responses to Mineral-Excessive Conditions: Mineral Uptake and Carbohydrate Partitioning in Tomato Plants

  • The shortage or surplus of minerals directly affects overall physiological metabolism of plants; especially, it strongly influences carbohydrate metabolism as a primary response. We have studied mineral uptake, synthesis and partitioning of soluble carbohydrates, and the relationship between them in N, P or K-excessive tomato plants, and examined the interaction between soluble carbohydrates and mineral elements. Four-weeks-old tomato plants were grown in a hydroponic growth container adjusted with excessive N ($20.0mmol\;L^{-1}$ $Ca(NO_3)2{\cdot}4H_2O$ and $20.0mmol\;L^{-1}$ $KNO_3$), P ($2.0mmol\;L^{-1}$ $KH_2PO_4$), and K ($20.0mmol\;L^{-1}$ $KNO_3$), respectively, for 30 days. Shoot growth rates were significantly influenced by excessive N or K, but not by excessive P. The concentrations of water soluble N (nitrate and ammonium), P and K were clearly different with each tissue of tomato plants as well as the mineral conditions. The NPK accumulation in all treatments was as follows; fully expanded leaves (48%) > stem (19%) = roots (16%) = petioles (15%) > emerging leaves (1). K-excessive condition extremely contributed to a remarkable increase in the ratio, which ranged from 2.79 to 10.34, and particularly potassium was dominantly accumulated in petioles, stem and roots. Fresh weight-based soluble sugar concentration was the greatest in NPK-sufficient condition ($154.8mg\;g^{-1}$) and followed by K-excessive (141.6), N-excessive (129.2) and P-excessive (127.7); whereas starch was the highest in K-excessive ($167.0mg\;g^{-1}$) and followed by P-excessive (146.1), NPK-sufficient (138.2) and N-excessive (109.7). Soluble sugar showed positive correlation with dry weight-based total N content (p<0.01) whereas was negatively correlated with soluble P (p<0.01) and dry weight-based total P (p<0.01). On the other hand, starch production was negatively influenced by total N (p<0.001), but, it showed positive relation with total K concentration (p<0.05). This study shows that uptake pattern of NPK and production and partitioning of soluble carbohydrate were substantially different from each mineral, and the relationship between water soluble- and dry weight-based-mineral was positive.
