한국어 학습자의 쓰기 특성에 관한 융복합적 연구 - 구문산출성, 구문복잡성 및 구문오류를 중심으로 (A Composite Study on the Writing Characteristics of Korean Learners - Focused on Syntax Production, Syntax Complexity and Syntax Errors)

  • 한국어 학습자들에게 있어 쓰기는 다른 어떤 영역에 비해 어려워하는 부분이다. 그러나 향후 이들이 학교에서 수업을 듣고, 과제 및 발표를 하고 더 나아가 취업 등의 상황에 적응하기 위해서는 글을 구성하여 조직적으로 쓸 수 있는 능력이 필수적이다. 그러므로 이에 대한 지도방안을 강구할 필요성이 있다. 일반적으로 쓰기 특성은 쓰기 산출성, 쓰기 복잡성 및 쓰기 오류 등을 통해 많이 살펴본다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 우선 베트남인 한국어 학습자, 중국인 한국어 학습자 및 한국인 대학생들을 대상으로 그림과 A4 용지를 제공한 후 자유로이 글을 쓰게 하였다. 그 후 쓰기 자료를 토대로 구문 산출성(총 C-unit수, 총 어휘수), 구문 복잡성(C-unit당 단어의 수와 절밀도) 및 쓰기 오류(조사, 연결어미, 어휘오류, 띄어쓰기오류)의 차이를 살펴보았다 연구결과 베트남인, 중국인 한국어 학습자들은 한국인 대학생애 비해 구문 산출성, 복잡성이 유의미하게 낮았으며, 조사와 연결어미에서 한국인 대학생에 비해 많은 오류를 나타냈었다. 연구 결과에 따라 한국어 학습자들을 위한 쓰기 지도 방안을 논의하였다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 연구대상자의 한국어 수준 및 거주기간에 따른 쓰기 특성의 차이를 검증하지 못했다. 따라서 향후 연구에서는 이를 고려하여 살펴볼 필요성이 있다.

  • 본 연구는 한국인 학습자의 어휘복잡성 및 구문복잡성에 대해서 알아보았다. 이를 통해 이들의 한국어 실제 능력을 알아보며, 이를 토대로 이들에 대한 한국어 지도 방향을 설정하기 위해 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 국적에 따른 어휘복잡성 및 구문복잡성에는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 한국어 학습기간에 따른 어휘복잡성과 구문복잡성을 살펴본 결과 어휘복잡성의 하위 변인 중 다른 낱말 수에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났으나, 구문복잡성의 하위 변인에서는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 한국거주기간, 한국어학습기간 및 언어 관련 변인들과의 상관을 살펴본 결과 한국어 학습기간과 TTR을 제외한 다른 변인들은 유의한 상관을 보였다. 연구결과에 따른 융합적 관점에서 한국어 학습자들을 위한 교육적 방향에 대하여 논의하였다.

네트워크 분석방식 선택에 따른 복잡계 모형과 공간구문론의 상호검증 (Mutual Verification of an Analytic Model of a Complex System and Space Syntax Using Network Analyses)

  • A social phenomenon that occurs in a physical space is said to be a complex system. However, space syntax, which is commonly employed by researchers to identify such social phenomena, has various limitations in interpreting their complexity. On the other hand, agent-based modeling considers a variety of factors including the personality of the agent, objective-oriented work flows, estimation according to time flows and better prediction of space use through diverse parameters depending the situation, as well as the characteristics of the space. The agent-based method thus has the potentials to be developed as an alternative to space syntax techniques. In particular, discrete event driven simulation(DEVS), which is part of the agent-based modeling method, embraces the concept of networks just like space syntax, which allows a possible theoretical linkage in the future. This study suggests a procedural model of agent-based DEVS reflecting two different connection methods, i.e. connections between adjacent areas and those of the entire space, and attempts to identify the relationship between the local and regional indices of space syntax. A number of spaces were selected as examples-one for a preliminary experiment and eight modified for the main experiment-and space syntax and DEVS were applied to each of them. The comparative analysis of the results led to the conclusions as follows: 1) Adjacent connections were closely related to local indices, while the whole-space approach to regional indices. Local integration shows both characteristics. 2) Observation of the time flow model indicated a faster convergence with the range of 1 to 3-fold of the total time of one lap, with the error of less than 10%. 3) The heat map analysis showed more obvious characteristics of using the space for the entire space rather than adjacent connections. 4) Space syntax shows higher eligibility than ABM.

  • An architectural space can be considered a life form that interconnects a number of architectural elements such as the humans who live in it. It is difficult to understand and evaluate the complexity of the interrelation between each element, but there have been various attempts to understand and evaluate this architectural space. The Space Syntax that emerged in 1980s has been studied and used more frequently than other methods. Space Syntax is the space analysis tool that analyzes the physical structure of space and represents it as a graph. Space syntax enables its various applications in space analysis by quantifying each spatial property of a whole structure, analyzing it systemically and objectively based on mathematical logic, and representing the results as a quantitative value. Integration of Space Syntax, a widely used index, reflects human behavior in spatial configuration. Meanwhile, there have been various studies in the field of architectural environmental psychology about the relationships between space and human behavior by applying behavioral science to architectural plan. One of the most widely used one is spatial behavior simulation which uses models and simulates the behavioral characteristics to anticipate practical situations and investigate the behavior related spatial problems. In this study, which focuses on the accessibility of the space syntax model, the usefulness of space will be analyzed through the simulation of human behavior that moves through each space. Furthermore, the validity of index will be verified by displaying several examples and compared with integration in space syntax, which represents the usefulness of space.

Mismatches in Korean Copula Constructions and Linearization Effects

  • One main complexity of the copula constructions concerns a mismatch between morphology and syntactic constituency: the copula seems to form a morphological unit with the immediately preceding element, whereas in terms of syntax the copula appears to take this as its syntactic complement. In capturing such mismatches, we show that the copula is treated as an independent verb at the level of tectogrammatical structure (or syntax tree), whereas as a bound morpheme at the level of phonogram-matical structure (or domain tree), in terms of Dowty 1992 (or Reape 1994). This paper, adopting the notion of DOMAIN in HPSG, shows that copula constructions are a subtype of compacting-constructions. These constructions compact the domain value of the copula and that of its preceding element together into one domain unit, eventually making it inert to syntactic phenomena such as scrambling, deletion and pro-form substitution. This construction-based approach provides a clean analysis for the formation of the copula construction and related phenomena.

  • Due to the increased complexity and size of digital system and the need of the H/W-S/W co-design, C/C++ based system design methodology gains more Interests than ever in EDA field. This paper suggests the methodology in which handshake module corresponding to each basic statement of C is provided of the form of STG(Signal Transition Graph) and then, C statements is synthesized into asynchronous circuit through syntax-oriented translation. The 4-phase handshaking protocol is used for the communications between modules, and the modules are synthesized by the Petrify which is asynchronous logic synthesis CAD tool.

병렬화 컴파일러의 구조 (Organization of Parallelizing Compilers)

  • Wide variety of the architectural complexity of parallel computer often makes it difficult to develop efficient programs for them. One of approaches to improve this difficulty is to program in familiar sequential languages such as Fortran or C and to parallelize sequential programs into equivalent parallel programs automatically. This paper presents an organization of parallelizing compiler which transforms sequential programs into equivalent parallel programs. The parallelizer consists mainly of syntax analysis, control and data flow analysis, program transformation, and parallel code generation. In particular, the program restructuring in this parallelizer maximizes loop parallelism.

대학 캠퍼스 건물 내부휴게공간의 공간적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Spatial Characteristics of Indoor Rest Zones in the Campus Buildings)

  • This study investigates the physical characteristics of indoor rest zones using the Space Syntax Method. A conceptual framework is based on analysis of design works presented in competitions(544 rest zones of 24 buildings on 7 campuses). The analysis on the unit type of rest zones showed that they were mostly available as open type, followed by semi-open type and outdoor rest places. On the other hand, by classifying the shape of whole building into traffic lines and nodal points, it was found that the buildings with 3 or more traffic lines have lower availability than others, because the buildings required more nodal points along a little higher complexity and zoning formed at increased nodal points between building masses. The analysis on the location of rest zones on traffic lines showed that hall type was most excellent in the level of availability. Finally, the analysis on the floor height showed that hall-like open rest places and outdoor places like rooftop garden functioned as a factor to enhance the integration of different spaces. In conclusion, this research will help the follow-up studies make spatial creation planning that may enhance the spatial efficiency and availability of Indoor rest zones on the campus.

압축 도메인에서 슬라이스를 기반으로 하는 H.264/AVC 비디오 스트림들의 혼합 (A Mixing of H.264/AVC Video Streams Based on Slice in The Compressed Domain)

  • 본 논문에서는 저연산, 저지연성을 보장하는 다중 비디오 스트림 흔합 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 슬라이스기반 H.264/AVC 비디오 스트림들을 화소 도메인에서 혼합하지 않고 압축 도메인에서 신택스 비트스트림 변경에 의해 혼합한다. 혼합을 위한 신택스 비트스트림 변환은 혼합화면을 구성할 비디오 스트림들의 위치에 따라 변경한다. 실험결과 4개 이상의 비디오 스트림들을 고속으로 혼합할 수 있었다. 또한 표준 H.264/AVC를 지원하는 플레이어에서 화질열화 없이 재생할 수 있었다.

  • The logic-based scheduling languages RSV and RCPSV may be used to represent and to solve a new general class of resource-constrained project scheduling with variants. RSV and RCPSV syntactically represent schedul7ing problems as descriptions (activity terms) being similar to concepts in a description logic. Though RSV and RCPSV have a different syntax, they are equal1y expressive. On the other hand, from a complexity point of view RCPSV permits more compact representations than RSV. We argue that the difference may be exponential.
