직접토크제어에 의한 위치검출기 없는 릴럭턴스 동기전동기의 위치 제어시스템 (A High-Performance Position Sensorless Motion Control System of Reluctance Synchronous Motor with Direct Torque Control)

  • 본 논문은 직접토크제어(Direct torque control, DTC)를 사용한 릴럭턴스 동기전동기(Reluctance synchronous motor, RSM)의 위치센서 없는 모션제어 시스템을 제안한다. 고성능 효율제어를 수행하는데 있어서 DTC를 이용한 릴럭턴스 전동기 드라이브는 고정자 쇄교자속의 포화와 부하전류에 따라 비선형적으로 변하는 인덕턴스로 인해 여러 가지 문제점들이 발생한다. 이러한 이유로 본 논문에서는 정확한 고정자 쇄교자속과 토크를 계산하기 위해서 자속관측기의 $L_d\;와\; L_q$값을 회전자 위치와 고정자 전류에 대해 보상하였으며, 빠른 토크 응답특성과 최적 효율특성을 얻기 위해서 기준자속을 부하에 따라 계산하였다. 제안된 알고리즘의 정당성을 확인하기 위해서 1.0[kW] 릴럭턴스 동기 전동기를 사용하여 $\pm$20[rpm]과 $\pm$1500[rpm]에서 실험을 수행하였고, 실험을 수행한 결과 저속영역과 고속영역 모두 우수한 동특성과 향상된 효율을 얻을 수 있었다.

Sensorless Control for a PM Synchronous Motor in a Single Piston Rotary Compressor

  • A sensorless control for an IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) synchronous motor in a single piston rotary compressor is presented in this study. The rotor position is estimated from the d-axis and q-axis current errors between the real system and a motor model of the position estimator. The torque pulsation of the single piston rotary compressor is compensated to reduce speed ripples, as well as, mechanical noise and vibration. The proposed sensorless drive enables the compressor to operate at a lower speed which increases energy savings and reduces mechanical noise. It also gives high speed operations by a flux weakening control for rapid air-cooling and heating of the heat pump air-conditioners.

  • In a multi-layer interior permanent magnet synchronous motor, the d- and q-axis parameters vary nonlinearly according to different load conditions, consequently changing the level of saturation. The flux-linkage of d- and q-axis conveys ripple characteristics resulting from mechanical structure and degree of magnetic saturation. If the calculated flux-linkage is correct, the torque using the Maxwell stress tensor method is the same torque calculated by the flux-linkage. However, discrepancy between results exists. In this paper, the d- and q-axis flux-linkage, in consideration of the ripple characteristic, is calculated. Simulation results are then compared with experimental results.

  • Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) produces two kind of torque that Magnetic and Reluctance torque. The permanent magnet linkage flux $\Psi_a$ and d-axis and q-axis inductances have an important influence on the torque characteristic of IPMSM. Thus their accurate prediction is essential for predicting performance aspect such as the torque and flux-weakening capabilities. In this paper, $L_d,\;L_q$ is calculated by LC resonance method with FEM. The results are validated by comparison the $L_d,\;L_q$ calculated by another method.

통합 전력품질 제어기의 과전류 보호방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Over Current Protection Method of Unified Power Quality Conditioners)

  • 본 논문에서는 직렬형, 병렬형 능동전력필터로 구성되어 있는 통합전력품질 제어기(UPQC)의 과전류에 대한 보호기법이 제시되며, 해석된다. 제안된 과전류 보호기법은 직렬형 능동전력필터에 과전류의 기본파 성분에 대해서고 임피던스를 갖는 기능을 부여함으로써 구현하였으며, 세 가지 방법을 제시하였다. 첫 번째 방법은 p-q이론을 이용하여 기본파 전원전류를 검출하여 보호하는 방법, 두 번째 방법은 동기 좌표계에서 부하전류의 기본파 성분을 검출하여 보호하는 방법, 세 번째 방법은 입력전압을 검출하여 보호하는 방법이다. 전원계통에서 과전류가 흘렀을 경우 제안된 방법들은 UPQC에 부가적인 회로 없이 보호해 줄 수 있다. 제안된 방법의 타당성은 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 입증된다.

  • To achieve the high performance speed control of synchronous permanent magnet motor, the influence of iron loss can not be negleced as the increase of driving frequency with high speed operation. This paper proposes a maximum efficiency control algorithm for permanent magnet synchonous motors by controlling the d-axis component of the armature current at any speed and torque. The objective of the optimum efficiency controller is to seek a combination of d-q axis current components which provide minimum input power (minimum losses) at a certain operating point by adding a small amout of perturbation to the d-axis current reference.

Compensation of Position Error due to Amplitude Imbalance in Resolver Signals

  • This paper presents a compensation algorithm for position error due to an amplitude imbalance between resolver output signals. Resolvers are typically used to obtain absolute position information for motor drive systems in severe environments. Position error is caused by an amplitude imbalance of the resolver output signals. As a result, the d- and q-axis currents of synchronous reference frame have periodic ripples in the stator fundamental frequency in permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive systems. Therefore, this paper proposes a compensation algorithm to reduce the position error generated by the amplitude imbalance. The proposed method does not require any additional hardware, and reduces computation time with a simple integral operation according to rotor position. In addition, the position error can be directly compensated for by the estimated position error. The effectiveness of the proposed compensation algorithm is verified through several simulations and experiments.

신경회로망을 이용한 동기 릴럭턴스 전동기의 직접토크제어 시스템 (A Direct Torque Control System for Reluctance Synchronous Motor Using Neural Network)

  • This paper presents an implementation of efficiency optimization of reluctance synchronous motor (RSM) using a neural network (NN) with a direct torque control (DTC). The equipment circuit considered with iron losses in RSM is analyzed theoretically, and the optimal current ratio between torque current and exiting current component are derived analytically. For the RSM driver, torque dynamic can be maintained with DTC using TMS320F2812 DSP Controller even with controlling the flux level because a torque is directly proportional to the stator current unlike induction motor. In order to drive RSM at maximum efficiency and good dynamics response, the Backpropagation Neural Network is adapted. The experimental results are presented to validate the applicability of the proposed method. The developed control system show high efficiency and good dynamic response features with 1.0 [kW] RSM having 2.57 inductance ratio of d/q.

  • This paper presents an implementation of high-dynamic performance control system of Reluctance Synchronous Motor(RSM) drives for an industrial servo drive system with direct torque control(DTC). The estimation of the stator flux and torque are obtained by using flux observer which a saturated inductance Ld and Lq of d-q axises can be compensated by using the neural network from measuring the modulus and angle of the stator current space vector. To obtain fast torque response and maximum torque/current, the reference command flux is ensured by imposing Ids=Iqs. The control strategy is proposed to fast response and optimal efficiency for RSM drive. The developed digitally high-performance control system are shown a good response characteristic of control results and high performance features using 1.0kW RSM.

  • 풍력발전은 넓은 범위의 속도제어를 요구하며, 권선형 유도발전기를 이용한 DFIG시스템을 이러한목적에 잘 부합한다. 동기속도 이상의 영역에서 풍속에 의한 원동기 속도와 증가에 불구하고 회전자 여자 주파수를 슬립주파수와 다르게 인가하여 DFIG의 속도와 출력 제얼르 다루고 있다. 속도제어와 동작점 이동의 해석을 위하여 토크시뮬레이션을 하였고, 회전자 여자주파수와 전압제어에 의해 출력이 정격값 이하의 안정된 영역에서 제어될 수 있음을 고찰하였다.
