A novel refined plate theory for stability analysis of hybrid and symmetric S-FGM plates

  • In this paper, buckling analysis of hybrid functionally graded plates using a novel four variable refined plate theory is presented. In this theory the distribution of transverse shear deformation is parabolic across the thickness of the plate by satisfying the surface conditions. Therefore, it is unnecessary to use a shear correction factor. The variations of properties of the plate through the thickness are according to a symmetric sigmoid law (symmetric S-FGM). The principle virtual works is used herein to extract equilibrium equations. The analytical solution is determined using the Navier method for a simply supported rectangular plate subjected to axial forces. The precision of this theory is verified by comparing it with the various solutions available in the literature.

  • Kailar Accountability Logic proposed for the accountability analysis of communication protocols that require accountability and use asymmetric key digital signature is extended for protocols that use symmetric key digital signature. A proposed electronic micropayment protocol that uses symmetric key digital signature is analyzed to illustrate the use of the extend logic in detecting its lack f accountability and suggesting changes to enhance its accountability.

  • The symmetric dual filters are essential for the construction of biorthogonal multiresolution an analyses and wavelets. We propose an algorithm to seek for dual symmetric trigonometric filters $\tilde{m}_0$ for for the given symmetric trigonometric filter $m_0$ and illustrate our algorithm by examples.

  • A characterization procedure for analyzing symmetric coupled MIS(Metal-Insulator-Semiconductor) transmission line is used the same procedure as a general single layer symmetric coupled line with perfect dielectric substrate from the extraction of the characteristic impedance and propagation constant for even- and odd-mode. In this paper, an analysis for a new substrate shielding symmetric coupled MIS structure consisting of grounded crossbar at the interface between Si and SiO2 layer using the Finite- Difference Time-Domain(FDTD) method is presented. In order to reduce the substrate effects on the transmission line characteristics, a shielding structure consisting of grounded crossbar lines over time-domain signal has been examined. Symmetric coupled MIS transmission line parameters for even- and odd-mode are investigated as the functions of frequency, and the extracted distributed frequency- dependent transmission line parameters and corresponding equivalent circuit parameters as well as quality factor for the new MIS crossbar embedded structure are also presented. It is shown that the quality factor of the symmetric coupled transmission line can be improved without significant change in the characteristic impedance and effective dielectric constant.

  • 구논문은 ULM(Universal Logic Modules)의 구성과 특징에 관하여 고찰하고 TULM, QULM 및 SULM에 관하여 분석하였으며 대칭함수를 도입하여 ULM 회로의 간소화를 시도하였다. 대칭함수에 의한 간소화결과를 ULM으로 실현시키기 위하여 54/74류 집적회로를 써서 10KHz의 발진회로를 구성하여 이론적 결과와 대응함을 관찰하였다. This paper deals with characteristics and analysis of the Universal Logic Modules as well as TULM, QULM and SULM. Studies are made on minimization in Storms of symmetric circuits and theoretical stuides are made by using the symmetric functions The symmetric circuits of the ULM are realized by employing 54/74 ICs, An oscillator circuit of 10KHz. is constructed based on the ULM. The experimental results gave a good agreement with the theoretical Minimization.

An efficient seismic analysis of regular skeletal structures via graph product rules and canonical forms

  • In this study, graph product rules are applied to the dynamic analysis of regular skeletal structures. Graph product rules have recently been utilized in structural mechanics as a powerful tool for eigensolution of symmetric and regular skeletal structures. A structure is called regular if its model is a graph product. In the first part of this paper, the formulation of time history dynamic analysis of regular structures under seismic excitation is derived using graph product rules. This formulation can generally be utilized for efficient linear elastic dynamic analysis using vibration modes. The second part comprises of random vibration analysis of regular skeletal structures via canonical forms and closed-form eigensolution of matrices containing special patterns for symmetric structures. In this part, the formulations are developed for dynamic analysis of structures subjected to random seismic excitation in frequency domain. In all the proposed methods, eigensolution of the problems is achieved with less computational effort due to incorporating graph product rules and canonical forms for symmetric and cyclically symmetric structures.

연관성 규칙의 탐색을 위한 순수 대칭적 J 측도의 활용 (Utilizing Purely Symmetric J Measure for Association Rules)

  • 데이터 마이닝 분야에서 개발된 기법에는 연관성 규칙, 군집분석, 의사결정나무, 신경망 등 여러 가지가 있는데 이들 중에서 연관성 규칙은 지지도, 신뢰도, 그리고 향상도 등 여러 가지 연관성 평가 기준을 이용하여 항목들 간에 특정한 연관성을 탐색하는 기법이다(Park, 2014). 이러한 연관성 규칙은 Agrawal et al.(1993)이 처음 제안하였으며, 그 이후로 여러 연구자들에 의해 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 최근에는 교차 엔트로피와 관련된 연구들이 발표되고 있다(Park, 2016b). 본 논문에서는 기존에 발표된 J 측도에 방향성과 순수성을 고려한 순수 대칭적 J 측도를 제안하고 예제를 활용하여 그 유용성에 대해 알아보았다. 그 결과, 동시발생빈도가 증가함에 따라 순수 대칭적 J 측도가 기존의 J 측도와 대칭적 J 측도, 순수 교차 엔트로피 측도보다 훨씬 분명하게 변하는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 불일치빈도의 크기에 따라서도 순수 대칭적 J 측도가 변화하는 폭이 더 커짐에 따라 연관성 유무를 더 분명하게 파악할 수 있었다. 따라서 순수 대칭적 J 측도는 데이터가 존재하는 어느 분야에서든지 연관성 규칙의 평가에 적용이 가능할 것으로 생각된다.

다분할 해석법에 의한 장형코일의 곡가공 연구 (A Study of Bending Using Long Type Coil by Discrete Method)

  • The induction heating is more efficient for a plate bending because of its easy operation and control of working parameters, compared with the heating by a gas torch. The existing axis symmetric analysis method could neither handle initial curved plates nor be used in the optimization of coil shapes because of its limit of an axis symmetric coil shape. But the proposed method using some discrete part models and analysis processes could overcome these difficulties and show more accurate results in temperatures and deflections of flat or curved plates with initial curvature than those in the existing axis symmetric analysis method. This method is composed of the multi-disciplinary analyses such as an electro magnetic analysis, a heat transfer analysis and a deformation analysis based on inherent strain approach per each step. Traditionally, the coil shape in the induction heating is circular shape and it needs the moving process along heating lines. To overcome this, the 'Long Type Coil' with some linear parallel coils was proposed. It did not need the moving process along heating lines and reduced the heating process time. The results of experiments were compared with those of the simulation.

대칭 적층한 얇은 고강도 탄소섬유 에폭시 복합재 보의 기계적 동특성 (Dynamic Mechanical Properties of the Symmetric Laminated high Strength Carbon Fiber Epoxy Composite Thin Beams)

  • A study on the dynamic mechanical properties of the high strength carbon fiber epoxy composite beam was carried out. The macromechanical model was used for the theoretical analysis of the symmetric laminated composite beam. The anisotropic plate theory and Bernoulli-Euler beam theory were used to predict the effective flexural elastic modulus and the specific damping capacity of laminated composite beam. The free flexural vibration and torsional vibration tests were carried out to determine the specific damping capacities of the unidirectional laminated composite beam. The vibration tests were performed in a vacuum chamber with laser vibrometer system and electromagnetic hammer to obtain accurate experimental data. From the computational and experimental results, it was found that the theoretical values with the macromechanical analysis and the experimental data of symmetric laminated composite beam were in good agreement.

  • Transducer for ultrasonic linear motor with the symmetric and anti-symmetric modes was studied. The ultrasonic liner motor consists of two Lngevin type piezoelectric vibrators that cross at right angles with each other in tip. In order to excite symmetric and anti-symmetric mode, the transducer must have a 90 degree phase difference of voltage. Therefore, the tip of transducer moves on an elliptical motion. In this paper, the finite element analysis was used. The ultrasonic motor was fabricated using the simulated result and the driving characteristics were measured.
