정신 연습의 기전과 적용 방법 (Mechanism and Application Methodology of Mental Practice)

  • The purpose of this study was to review of mechanism and application methodology about mental practice. The mental practice is symbolic rehearsal of physical activity in the absence of any gross muscular movements. Human have the ability to generate mental correlates of perceptual and motor events without any triggering external stimulus, a function known as imagery, Practice produces both internal and external sensory consequences which are thought to be essential for learning to occur, It is for this reason that mental practice, rehearsal of skill in imagination rather than by overt physical activity, has intrigued theorists, especially those interested in cognitive process. Several studies in sport psychology have shown that mental practice can be effective in optimizing the execution of movements in athletes and help novice learner in the incremental acquisition of new skilled behaviors. There are many theories of mental practice for explaining the positive effect In skill learning and performance. Most tenable theories are symbolic learning theory, psyconeuromuscular theory, Paivio's theory, regional cerebral blood flow theory, motivation theory, modeling theory, mental and muscle movement nodes theory, insight theory, selective attention theory, and attention-arousal set theory etc.. The factors for influencing to effects of mental practice are application form, application period, time for length of the mental practice, number of repetition, existence of physical practice.

고객만족교육에서 서비스몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 금융기관 종사자를 중심으로 (A Study on the Factor Affecting the Service Commitment in Customer Satisfaction Education: Focused on Financial Institute Employee)

  • Purpose: Financial institute employees have various education programs for enhancing customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to explore critical factors that affect the service commitment in the financial institution and to propose the implication for employee's service involvement. Methods: This study is intended to identify how service quality of education, servicescape, and learning motivation affect the service commitment. The research model proposed in this study is tested via a survey of 322 employees for financial institution employees. Results: This study shows that tangibles, reliability, assurance and ambient condition, physical structure, symbolic artifacts and internal motivation, extrinsic motivation significantly influence education satisfaction. Tangibles, reliability and ambient condition, physical structure, symbolic artifacts and internal motivation significantly influence affective service orientation and that tangibles, reliability, assurance and extrinsic motivation significantly influence altruistic service orientation. It also verifies that education satisfaction affective service orientation, and altruistic service orientation positively affect service commitment. Conclusion: This study suggests critical factors to promote service commitment in the financial institute. It has focused on not only the service quality of education program, but also servicescape and learning motivation as the meaningful factors for increasing the employee's service involvement.

Convergence Learning Program based on Childhood's Sociopsychological Development and Design Thinking

  • This study inquired about the convergence learning program for childhood based on Erikson's play theory and design education for children's behavior development. I analyzed the convergence learning programs of Summer Camps in the Pacific Science Center, Galileo Learning. The contents of the programs show the most used imaginary and symbolic contents that represent the real-world problems which are related design thinking process. The curriculums and structure of the programs are based on the design thinking method and K-12 theory. The visual thinking method and the applications are used for expressing their creativity and approaching the technical skills easily. The play concept theory is an affirmative way to strengthen the children's psychological and social development. Therefore, the convergence learning program should integrate the design thinking process and apply the play concept theory for supporting and developing the children's behavior.

Design models for predicting shear resistance of studs in solid concrete slabs based on symbolic regression with genetic programming

  • Accurate design models for predicting the shear resistance of headed studs in solid concrete slabs are essential for obtaining economical and safe steel-concrete composite structures. In this study, symbolic regression with genetic programming (GPSR) was applied to experimental data to formulate new descriptive equations for predicting the shear resistance of studs in solid slabs using both normal and lightweight concrete. The obtained GPSR-based nominal resistance equations demonstrated good agreement with the test results. The equations indicate that the stud shear resistance is insensitive to the secant modulus of elasticity of concrete, which has been included in many international standards following the pioneering work of Ollgaard et al. In contrast, it increases when the stud height-to-diameter ratio increases, which is not reflected by the design models in the current international standards. The nominal resistance equations were subsequently refined for use in design from reliability analyses to ensure that the target reliability index required by the Eurocodes was achieved. Resistance factors for the developed equations were also determined following US design practice. The stud shear resistance predicted by the proposed models was compared with the predictions from 13 existing models. The accuracy of the developed models exceeds the accuracy of the existing equations. The proposed models produce predictions that can be used with confidence in design, while providing significantly higher stud resistances for certain combinations of variables than those computed with the existing equations given by many standards.

Hybrid Multi-layer Perceptron with Fuzzy Set-based PNs with the Aid of Symbolic Coding Genetic Algorithms

  • We propose a new category of hybrid multi-layer neural networks with hetero nodes such as Fuzzy Set based Polynomial Neurons (FSPNs) and Polynomial Neurons (PNs). These networks are based on a genetically optimized multi-layer perceptron. We develop a comprehensive design methodology involving mechanisms of genetic optimization and genetic algorithms, in particular. The augmented genetically optimized HFPNN (namely gHFPNN) results in a structurally optimized structure and comes with a higher level of flexibility in comparison to the one we encounter in the conventional HFPNN. The GA-based design procedure being applied at each layer of HFPNN leads to the selection of preferred nodes (FPNs or PNs) available within the HFPNN. In the sequel, two general optimization mechanisms are explored. First, the structural optimization is realized via GAs whereas the ensuing detailed parametric optimization is carried out in the setting of a standard least square method-based learning. The performance of the gHFPNNs quantified through experimentation where we use a number of modeling benchmarks-synthetic and experimental data already experimented with in fuzzy or neurofuzzy modeling.

  • This study focuses on the analysis of prospective elementary teachers' representation of trapezoid area and teacher educator's reflecting in the context of a mathematics course. In this study, I use my own teaching and classroom of prospective elementary teachers as the site for investigation. 1 examine the ways in which my own pedagogical content knowledge as a teacher educator influence and influenced by my work with students. Data for the study is provided by audiotape of class proceeding. Episode describes the ways in which the mathematics was presented with respect to the development and use of representation, and centers around trapezoid area. The episode deals with my gaining a deeper understanding of different types of representations-symbolic, visual, and language. In conclusion, I present two major finding of this study. First, Each representation influences mutually. Prospective elementary teachers reasoned visual representation from symbolic and language. And converse is true. Second, Teacher educator should be prepared proper mathematical language through teaching and learning with his students.

  • In this paper, we present a overview of content-based image retrieval (CBIR) systems: its results and its problems. We propose our CBIR system currently based on color and texture. From the CBIR systems. we discuss the way to add semantic values in image retrieval systems. There are 3 ways for adding them: concept definition, machine learning and man-machine interaction. Along with this we introduce our preliminary results and discuss them in the goal of reaching semantic retrieval. Different result representation schemes are presented. At last, we present our work to build a complete annotated image database and our image annotaion program.

벡터 심볼릭 구조의 부호화 및 복호화 성능 평가에 관한 연구 (Study on the Performance Evaluation of Encoding and Decoding Schemes in Vector Symbolic Architectures)

  • 최근 몇 년 동안 인공지능과 기계 학습 분야에서 대량의 데이터를 효율적으로 처리하고 해석하는 방법에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이러한 데이터 처리 기술 중 하나인 벡터 기호 아키텍처(Vector Symbolic Architecture, VSA)는 고차원 벡터를 이용하여 복잡한 기호와 데이터를 표현하는 혁신적인 접근법을 제시한다. VSA는 특히 자연어 처리, 이미지 인식, 로봇 공학 등 다양한 응용 분야에서 주목받고 있다. 본 연구는 VSA 방법론들의 특성과 성능을 정량적으로 평가하기 MNIST 데이터셋에 5가지 VSA 방법론을 적용하여 인코딩 속도, 디코딩 속도, 메모리 사용량, 복원 정확도와 같은 주요 성능 지표를 벡터 길이별로 측정하였다. 인코딩 속도와 디코딩 속도에서 BSC와 VT가 상대적으로 빠른 성능을 보였으며, MAP과 HRR은 상대적으로 느렸다. 메모리 사용량에서는 BSC가 가장 효율적이었고, MAP이 가장 많은 메모리를 사용하였다. 복원 정확도는 MAP이 가장 높았으며, BSC가 가장 낮았으며 연구 결과는 적용 영역에 따라 적절한 VSA 방법론을 선택할 수 있는 기준을 제시할 수 있다.

대중문화 속 종교유사성에 관한 종교미디어교육 연구 -<다빈치 코드>를 사례로 한 '상징교수법' 교수학습 모형 개발- (An Application Plan for Religious 'Symbolic Didactics' in Religious Media Pedagogic and Popular Culture -Development of a Teaching & Learning Example Focusing on "The Da Vinci Code"-)

  • 본 연구에서는 종교미디어교육의 관점에서 다중문화 속에 나타나는 종교적 상징과 종교유사성에 대한 이론과 교육방법을 연구하였다. 오늘날에는 종교의 기본이념이나 종교문화적 가치관이 대중문화를 통해 왜곡되어 전달되는 상황이 종종 발생하고 있다. 따라서 종교 및 미디어 관련 교육문화에 대해 새로운 시각과 실제적 교육방법이 필요하다. 이에 관한 이론적 연구로써 '상징교수법'을 소개하였고, 이 이론을 토대로 한 교수학습 모형을 개발하였다. 이를 위한 연구방법으로써 '행동과 발달지향 미디어교육'의 교수설계 모형에 상징교수법의 교육방법과 교육내용을 통합하였다. 이 모형을 토대로 <다빈치 코드>를 사례로 하는 교수학습 사례를 개발하였다. 이 교육사례를 위해 <다빈치 코드>에 나타난 종교유사성 관련 요인들을 도입하였고, 총 8차시의 교수학습 방안을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 상징교수법의 활용방안은 <다빈치 코드> 외 여러 프로그램을 대상으로도 활용할 수 있다. 앞으로 이 교육에 대한 학습효과를 검증하는 실험연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이 교육을 진행할 교사교육도 필요하다. 이 상징교수법 교육사례는 종교교육에서 뿐 아니라 문화, 언어 등 다른 교육주제와의 연계도 가능하다.

시적 상징과 도덕과수업 (A study on a the poetic symbol and moral instruction)

  • 도덕과수업은 도덕이라는 추상적 대상을 구체적으로 표현하여 전하면서, 정서가 담재된 도덕적 의미의 발생을 추구한다. 이 측면에 주목하면, 도덕과수업은 예술적 상징 언어와 닮음이 있으며, 특히 시적 상징과 닮음이 있다. 시는 예술적 상징 언어의 전형적 양식이며, 시에서 추상적 대상의 의미를 수용 가능하게 표현하는 대표적 표현방식이 시적 상징이기 때문이다. 시적 상징은 시적 성찰을 언어로 표현하지만, 동시에 언어의 한계를 넘어선 형이상학적 의미를 전한다. 이를 위해 시적 상징은 불가시적인 형이상학적 원관념을 암시하는 가시적인 구체적 보조관념을 겉으로 드러낸다. 원관념을 은폐하고 보조관념을 드러내는 시적 상징은 동일성, 암시성, 다의성, 입체성, 문맥성, 전체성 등을 특성으로 한다. 이러한 특성을 가진 시적 상징이 시인의 창조적 상상력과 결합되어 개인적 상징으로 나타나고, 그것이 독자의 상상력과 결합되어 시적 의미로 체험된다. 시적 상징으로서의 도덕과수업은 이러한 시적 체험과 유사한 학습 경험을 제공하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해서 도덕과수업은 논리적이고 산문적인 설명보다는 도덕적 의미 발생이 가능한 상징적 형식으로 구성되어야 한다. 이러한 구성을 위해서는 지도요소를 구체화하는 상징적 매개체 찾고, 상징적 매개체의 도덕적 의미를 다양하게 검색하면서, 그 도덕적 의미에 대한 해석이 가능하도록 수업을 구성해야 한다. 이렇게 구성된 도덕과수업이 시적 상징을 닮는다면, 그 수업은 좋은 시에서 시인이 표현한 주제를 독자가 공감적으로 수용하듯이 교사가 표현한 교육내용을 학생은 정서가 수반된 도덕적 의미로 학습할 수 있다.
