  • A discrete-time(DT) filter with high-order temporal moving average(TMA) using actively-weighted charge sampling is proposed in this paper. To obtain different weight of sampled charge, the variable transconductance OTA is used prior to charge sampler, and the ratio of charge can be effectively weighted by switching the control transistors in the OTA. As a result, high-order TMA operation can be possible by actively-weighted charge sampling. In addition, the transconductance generated by the OTA is relatively accurate and stable by using the size ratio of the control transistors. The high-order TMA filter has small size, increased voltage gain, and low parasitic effects due to the small amount of switches and sampling capacitors. It is implemented in the TSMC $0.18-{\mu}m$ CMOS process by TMA-$2^2$. The simulated voltage gain is about 16.7 dB, and P1dB and IIP3 are -32.5 dBm and -23.7 dBm, respectively. DC current consumption is about 9.7 mA.

  • Chemical sensors have attracted much attention due to their various applications such as agriculture product, cosmetic and pharmaceutical components and clinical control. A conventional chemical and biological sensor is consists of fluorescent dye, optical light sources, and photodetector to quantify the extent of concentration. Such complicated system leads to rising cost and slow response time. Until now, the most contemporary thin film transistors (TFTs) are used in the field of flat panel display technology for switching device. Some papers have reported that an interesting alternative to flat panel display technology is chemical sensor technology. Recent advances in chemical detection study for using TFTs, benefits from overwhelming progress made in organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) electronic, have been studied alternative to current optical detection system. However numerous problems still remain especially the long-term stability and lack of reliability. On the other hand, the utilization of metal oxide transistor technology in chemical sensors is substantially promising owing to many advantages such as outstanding electrical performance, flexible device, and transparency. The top-gate structure transistor indicated long-term atmosphere stability and reliability because insulator layer is deposited on the top of semiconductor layer, as an effective mechanical and chemical protection. We report on the fabrication of InGaZnO TFTs with silver nanowire as the top gate electrode for the aim of chemical materials detection by monitoring change of electrical properties. We demonstrated that the improved sensitivity characteristics are related to the employment of a unique combination of nano materials. The silver nanowire top-gate InGaZnO TFTs used in this study features the following advantages: i) high sensitivity, ii) long-term stability in atmosphere and buffer solution iii) no necessary additional electrode and iv) simple fabrication process by spray.

  • This paper presents a high dimming ratio Power-LED driver IC with high power which is capable of controlling LEDs. In order to accomplish a high dimming ratio LED driver, the preloading inductor current methodology is proposed for the power stage of the proposed method to achieve the fast transient response time during the Power-LED load switching. The information containing the current flowing on the LEDs can be utilized to predict the amount of the current on the inductor. The minimum LED current rising time of existing high dimming ratio Power-LED driver is limited by $3{\mu}s$, however that of the proposed high dimming ratio Power-LED driver is reduced about 1/10. The LED driver is implemented with 0.35um 60V BCDMOS 2-poly 4-metal process. The measurement results show that the proposed LED driver system features the minimum rising time as small as 240ns at the dimming frequency of 1KHz with a 12V of input voltage, nine white LEDs and 353mA of LED current. The LED rising time and power conversion efficiency of the chip are measured to be 240ns and 93.72%, respectively.

  • In ad-hoc network, there is no fixed infrastructure such as base stations or mobile switching centers. The security of ad-hoc network is more vulnerable than traditional networks because of the basic characteristics of ad-hoc network, and current muting protocols for ad-hoc networks allow many different types of attacks by malicious nodes. Malicious nodes can disrupt the correct functioning of a routing protocol by modifying routing information, by fabricating false routing information and by impersonating other nodes. We propose a routing suity mechanism based on one-time digital signature. In our proposal, we use one-time digital signatures based on one-way hash functions in order to limit or prevent attacks of malicious nodes. For the purpose of generating and keeping a large number of public key sets, we derive multiple sets of the keys from hash chains by repeated hashing of the public key elements in the first set. After that, each node publishes its own public keys, broadcasts routing message including one-time digital signature during route discovery and route setup. This mechanism provides authentication and message integrity and prevents attacks from malicious nodes. Simulation results indicate that our mechanism increases the routing overhead in a highly mobile environment, but provides great security in the route discovery process and increases the network efficiency.

  • In this paper, we study reactive congestion control with priority in ATM network. The priority schemes for buffer access, partial buffer sharing have been investigated in order to improve the utilization of ATM network resources the network and to satisfy the most demanding traffic class. We consider in this paper a discrete-time queueing model for partial buffer sharing with two Markov modulated Poisson inputs. This model can be used to analyze the the effects of the partial buffer sharing priority scheme on system performance for realistic cases of bursty services. Explicit formulae are derived for the number of cells in the system and the loss probabilities for the traffic. Congestion may still occur because of unpredictable statistical fluctuation of traffic sources even when preventive control is performed in the network. In this Paper, we study reactive congestion control, in which each source changes its cell emitting rate a daptively to the traffic load at the switching node. Our intention is that,by incorporating such a congcstion control method in ATM network, more efficient congsestion control is established. We develope an analytical model, and carry out an approximateanalysis of reactive congestion con-trol with priority.Numerical results show that several orders of magnitude improvement in the loss probability can be achieved for the high priority class with little impact on the low priority class performance. And the results show that the reactive congestion control with priority are very effective in avoiding congestion and in achieving the statistical gain.

  • Urban houses of traditional Korean Style are a type of habitation that happened during a transitional period when the modernization of habitation had progressed in 1930s, and also a habitation folding societal trails that had adapted and developed into urbanization together with the native traits of traditional Korean Style houses. Because they keep our style of living and the process of change just as they were, it is important work to shed light on and keep a record of it. So, this thesis arranges the contents of research on the actual condition of living, and may try to reason by analogy the changing style of residents' living through the change of space composition and the way of space usage for the urban houses of traditional Korean style that were changed by extension and remodeling of residents. As the concrete matters, it is to grasp the physical and spatial change of urban houses of traditional Korean style in accordance with extension and remodeling, and to analyze in which part and how they had been changing for the spatial composition of urban houses of traditional Korean style according to the change of living style, and especially the change toward a stand-up type of k stand-and the following traits and factors of the change toward Dining-Kitchen. The kitchen changed toward Dining-Kitchen shows some typical discrepancies depending on the location of kitchen as like a case of changing toward Dining-Kitchen from the existing location, a case of extending into the rear side of kitchen, a case of switching of location between kitchen and the inner room, and a case of changing toward Dining-Kitchen from the location of a room across from the main living room. As kitchen changed toward Dining-Kitchen like these, it shows that the connecting trace into the inner room came out, each room came to show a bit clearer function but grow smaller relation with the threshing ground, and also the function of the threshing ground came reduced.

  • This study analyzed the impact of family firms and their characteristics on how they use debts to analyze the decision-making process of Korean family firms. For analysis, we classified the characteristics of family firms into three categories, through the influence of the relationship between the lack of funds and net debt issuance, which was confirmed as the 'packing order theory' of family firms. There was a total of 4,503 enterprises in the Korean Exchange (KRX). The period of analysis was 10 years, between 2004 and 2014. To summarize, Shyam-Sunder and Myers (1999) validated the packing order theory by presenting a model of family businesses that showed greater applicable to higher packing order theory than a model of non-family businesses. Moreover, the results also confirmed the application of the packing order theory by the family stronger corporate governance and ownership structure. The ownership and governance characteristics of the ruling family has also shown the applicability of higher packing order theory.

  • The regional distribution of magnetic isotropy depending on the post annealing condition for the dual-type structure GMR-SV (giant magnetoresistance-spin valve) of NiFe/Cu/NiFe/IrMn/NiFe/Cu/NiFe multilayer was investigated. The rotation of in-plane ferromagnetic layer induced by controlment of the post annealing temperature inside of the vacuum chamber. The magnetoresistive curves of a dual-type IrMn based GMR-SV depending on the direction of the magnetization easy axis of the free layer and the pinned layer are measured by between $0^{\circ}$ and $360^{\circ}$ angles for the applied fields. The optimum annealing temperature having a steady and isotropy magnetic sensitivity of 1.52 %/Oe was $107^{\circ}C$ in the rotational section of $0{\sim}90^{\circ}$. By investigating the switching process of magnetization for an arbitrary measuring direction, the in-plane orthogonal magnetization for the dual-type GMR-SV multilayer can be used by a high sensitive biosensor for detection of magnetized micro-beads.

  • Optical burst switching(OBS) is a promising solution for building terabit optical routers and realizing If over WDM. Channel scheduling Algorithm for reduce contention is one of the major challenges in OBS. We address the issue of how to provide basic burst channel scheduling in optical burst switched WDM networks with fiber delay lines(FDLs). In OBS networks the control and payload components or a burst are sent separately with a time gap. If CHP arrives to burst switch node, because using scheduling algorithm for data burst, reservation resources such as wavelength and transmit data burst without O/E/O conversion, because contention and void between burst are happened at channel scheduling process for data burst that happened the link utilization and bust drop probability Existent proposed methods are become much research to solve these problems. Propose channel scheduling algorithm that use Release Time of bust to emphasize clearance between data and data dissipation that is happened in data assignment in this treatise and maximize bust drop probability and the resources use rate (RTUC : Release Time Unscheduled Channel). As simulation results, Confirmed that is more superior in terms of data drop and link utilization than scheduling algorithm that is proposed existing. As simulation results, confirmed improved performance than scheduling algorithm that is proposed existing in terms of survival of burst, efficiency resource and delay. However, In case load were less, degradation confirmed than existent scheduling algorithm relatively, and confirmed that is superior in data drop aspect in case of load increased.
