Integration of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel for Forest Survey Application

  • Forest Survey consists of road survey, topographic survey, tree mapping survey, stream survey and also ridge survey. Information from forest survey is important and become essential in preparing base map to be used for forest harvesting planning and control. With the current technologies technique of data processing and mapping from traditionally hand drawn method had shifted to a computer system particularly the use of Computer Aided Design (CAD). This gives great advantages to the forest managers and logging operators. However data processing and mapping duration could be further reduced by integrating CAD with other established software such as Microsoft Excel. This time study to show that there is significance difference in term of duration for data processing and efficiency using AutoCAD in combination with Microsoft Excel program as compare to the use of AutoCAD program alone. From the study, it shows that the integration of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel is able to reduce 70% of duration for data processing and mapping as compared to the use of AutoCAD program alone.

대학도서관 전거제어 현황분석을 통한 전거제어 방안 모색 (A Study on Direction of Authority Control by Surveying the Authority Control in University Libraries)

  • 본 연구는 대학도서관의 전거제어 현황 조사와 국제적인 전거제어 개념모델 및 가상국제전거파일 분석을 바탕으로 국내에 적합한 전거제어 방안을 모색하기 위한 것이다. 현황 조사는 국내 대학도서관 중 전거데이터를 구축하는 기관과 구축하지 않는 기관 모두를 대상으로 실시하였다. 전거데이터를 구축하는 도서관은 해당 기관에서 구축해온 전거형을 유지하고자 하였으며, 미구축기관에서는 전거데이터 구축을 위해 전거관련 목록규칙과 국가적인 협력체계를 필요로 하였다. 이러한 현황조사와 국제목록원칙 2009, FRAD 개념모델, VIAF에서 제시한 방안을 바탕으로 전거형의 다양성을 인정하는 전거제어방안을 제시하였다. 이는 국가의 전거규칙을 바탕으로 전거제어를 실시하되, 기관의 전거규칙에 따라 선호하는 전거형을 인정하며, 궁극적으로는 이용자 중심으로 전거형을 디스플레이하는 방식이다. 이를 위해 국가적인 전거제어 규칙과 협력체계가 마련되어야 하며, 개별 도서관에서는 자관의 규칙에 따라 전거형과 이형을 생성해야 한다. 또한, 이용자 중심의 전거제어를 위해 전거데이터 기술요소가 추가적으로 입력되어야 하며, 전거형간, 전거형과 이형간의 다양한 관계를 기술할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구는 국가, 개별도서관, 이용자가 선호하는 전거형접근점을 수용하는 전거제어를 모색하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

Comprehensive Field Measurement of Indoor Air and Thermal Quality in Naturally Ventilated Office Building with Double-Skin Façade

  • Double-Skin Façade (DSF), which is a kind of passive indoor environmental control technique, is effective way to control environmental loads while maintaining the transparency especially in perimeter zone and hence the adoption example of DSF keep increasing recently. The objective of this study was to perform a field survey of air quality environment with natural ventilation through DSF and thermal environment within office building with six stories during a mild climate period in Japan. Moreover, to understand the comprehensive environmental performance of the target building, questionnaire survey was conducted to subjectively evaluate the productivity and satisfaction with the environmental factors in office space. In this field measurement, there was a positive correlation between the DSF internal ventilation flow and the amount of solar radiation on the DSF normal surface; the primary driving force for ventilation in the DSF was considered to be the buoyancy force caused by solar radiation. The results of questionnaire survey with regard to productivity level indicated the need for improvement in the thermal (temperature) and spatial environment (room size and furniture placement).

재해분석과 실태조사를 통한 스마트 팩토리 공정의 위험성 감소 방안 (Plan for Risk Reduction of Smart Factory Process through Accident Analysis and Status Survey)

  • The domestic smart factory is being built and spread rapidly, mainly by mid-sized companies and large enterprises according to the government's active introduction and support policy. But these factories only promote production system and efficiency, so harmfulness and risk factors are not considered. Therefore, to derive harmful risk factors in terms of industrial safety for 12,983 government-supported smart factory workplaces from 2014 to 2019, industrial accident status analysis compared workplaces with automation facilities and government-supported workplaces with automation facilities. Also, to reduce risks associated with domestic smart factory processes, twenty government-supported workplaces with automation facilities underwent analysis, evaluating risks through a status survey using the process evaluation table. In addition, the status survey considered region, size, industry, construction level, and accident rate; the difference in risk according to the structure of the process was confirmed. Based on the smart factory process evaluation results, statistical analysis confirmed that serial, parallel, and hybrid structures pose different risk levels and that the risks of mixed structures are greater. Finally, safety control system application was presented for risk assessment and reduction in the smart factory process, reflecting the results of disaster analysis and actual condition investigation.

  • National surveys on the prevalence of intestinal parasitic infections have been carried out every 5-7 years since 1971 in the Republic of Korea in order to establish control measures. The present nationwide survey was conducted from June to December 2004. The 10% population sampling data of Population and Housing Census by the Korean government in 2000 was used as the survey population. One sample was selected randomly from each of the 22,858 registered subjects, and a total of 20,541 people were ultimately included in this survey. Fecal examinations were performed by the cellophane thick smear and saturated brine flotation techniques. Pinworm infection was examined by cello-tape anal swab method. This survey also included a questionnaire study for a socioeconomic analysis. The total helminth egg positive rate was 3.7%, and the estimated total positive number among nationwide people was 1,780,000. The rates in urban and rural areas were 3.1% and 6.8%, respectively. As the total egg positive rate in the 6th survey in 1997 was 2.4%, the present survey showed that there was a considerable degree of increase in the prevalence rate of intestinal parasitic infections over the 7-year period following the 6th survey. The largest increases occurred in the egg positive rates of Clonorchis sinensis and heterophyids including Metagonimus yokogawai.

드론을 이용한 홍수기 유량측정방법 개발(I) - 항공사진측량 기법 적용 (Development of flow measurement method using drones in flood season (I) - aerial photogrammetry technique)

  • 본 연구는 드론을 이용하여 홍수기 하천에서의 유량측정방법 개발을 위해 수행하였다. 홍수기 유량측정은 예산, 인력, 안전 및 하천공사 등의 문제로 매년 모든 지점에서 유량 측정을 실시하지 못하는 어려움이 있다. 특히 태풍 등 큰 호우사상 발생 시 수위-유량관계 변화 검토가 필요하지만 앞에서 언급한 문제 등으로 인하여 측정에 어려움이 있다. 이런 문제점을 개선하기 위해 최소 인력이 단시간 간편하게 측정할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다. 항공사진측량 개념으로 접근하여 의정부시(신곡교) 지점과 영동군(영동제2교) 지점 하도 주변에 확인 가능한 위치에 지상기준점(GCP, Ground Control Points) 4개점을 선점하고 VRS DGPS 장비를 이용하여 좌표측량을 수행하였다. 드론을 일정높이의 정지상태(Hovering)에서 하도 내 수 표면을 카메라의 인터벌 기능으로 3초 간격 정사영상을 촬영하였다. 정사 촬영된 항공사진의 좌표계를 평면지각좌표계인 GRS80 TM좌표계로 정의한 후 GCP 좌표를 활용하여 보다 정밀하게 정사보정을 실시하였다. 수표면에 유하하는 부유물의 3초 간격 위치를 X, Y좌표 분석을 통해 이동거리를 평균유속으로 산정하고 유하경로에 따른 통수단면적을 적용하여 유량을 산정하였다. 따라서 항공사진측량 기법을 적용하여 홍수기에 드론을 이용한 유량측정방법에 대한 적용성을 확인하였다.

패널조사에서 PDA 활용 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Practical Use of PDA for Panel Survey)

  • 1968년 국내 조사기관이 최초로 설립된 이후 우리나라 조사방식은 급속한 발전을 거듭해 왔다. 최근에는 모바일과 인터넷 등 통신기술의 발달로 CATI, 노트북, 인터넷, PDA조사 방식이 진행되고 있다. 이 연구는 한국직업능력개발원이 자체 개발한 KISS 시스템을 이용하여 한국교육고용패널조사에 PDA를 응용한 사례를 중심으로 서술하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 설문조사 시 PDA의 장단점 및 활용방안에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이 연구의 주요결과를 살펴보면 PDA조사는 1) 조사에 있어서 필드의 컨트롤이 수월하며, 2) 자료검증기간의 단축 및 정확한 자료의 생성, 3) 조사에서 자료완성까지 기간 단축, 4) 소요인원의 최소화 및 장기적으로 비용절감 등의 장점을 가지고 있다. 반면에 단점으로는 1) 설문표현의 한계, 2) 조사시간의 증가, 3) 일부지역의 통신장애 등을 들 수 있다.

Dietary intake of fats and fatty acids in the Korean population: Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 2013

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study was to estimate average total fat and fatty acid intakes as well as identify major food sources using data from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) VI-1 (2013). SUBJECTS/METHODS: Total fat and fatty acid intakes were estimated using 24-hour dietary recall data on 7,048 participants aged ${\geq}3years$ from the KNHANES VI-1 (2013). Data included total fat, saturated fatty acid (SFA), monounsaturated fatty acid (MUFA), polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA), n-3 fatty acid (n-3 FA), and n-6 fatty acid (n-6 FA) levels. Population means and standard errors of the mean were weighted in order to produce national estimates and separated based on sex, age, income, as well as residential region. Major food sources of fat, SFA, MUFA, PUFA, n-3 FA, and n-6 FA were identified based on mean consumption amounts of fat and fatty acids in each food. RESULTS: The mean intake of total fat was 48.0 g while mean intakes of SFA, MUFA, PUFA, n-3 FA, and n-6 FA were 14.4 g, 15.3 g, 11.6 g, 1.6 g, and 10.1 g, respectively. Intakes of MUFA and SFA were each higher than that of PUFA in all age groups. Pork was the major source of total fat, SFA, and MUFA, and soybean oil was the major source of PUFA. Milk and pork were major sources of SFA in subjects aged 3-11 years and ${\geq}12years$, respectively. Perilla seed oil and soybean oil were main sources of n-3 FA in subjects aged ${\geq}50years$ and aged < 50 years, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: Estimation of mean fatty acid intakes of this study using nationally represented samples of the Korean population could be useful for developing and evaluating national nutritional policies.

Effect on Customer Satisfaction of the Emotional Intelligence of Members at Service Providing Department in the Hotel; A Case of Five Star Hotels in Daejeon

  • This study examines effect in customer satisfaction of the emotional intelligence of members at service providing department in the hotel; A case of five star hotels in Dajeon Research hypotheses were developed based on previous literature, and data were collected from 350 employees working at the hotel restaurant service business located in Daejeon, ROK, were investigated herein The collected data were then analysed using frequence reliability For this research analysis, a self-recording method was used where and examiner explains the survey and respondents writhen down their answers to survey questions Statistical processing in this study was done through data cidubg and data cleaning then with the SPSS(Statistical Package for Social Science)v. 18.0. This result the emotional intelligence of service-providing employees at food service department of hotel was found to have a positive effect on customer satisfaction via understanding of others and emotional control. And the understanding of oneself, understanding of others and emotional control in emotional intelligence had a positive effect on job satisfaction. Emotional control, and emotioal use were found to affect organizational commitment positively.

국민학교 아동의 전자오락에 관한 실태조사 (A Survey Analysis of Elementary Children's Home Video Games)

  • A survey analysis of home video games was carried out for 1,018 elementary school children. Children responded to a questionnaire consisting of sociodemographic variables, degree of game participation(frequency and mean time), control behavior(eg. resting during games, lightening interior), and physical symptoms(eg. eyestrain, headache, trembling, paralyses) during and/or after playing games. Statistical analysis was done by frequency, percentile, and chitest. The results showed that many children enjoyed video games frequently and played continually, that few children did control behavior during games. Main variables related to degree of game playing and control behavior were sex, game experience, parent's education, and mother's activity. In particular, the results implied that the level of physical symptoms during and/or after game differed by lighting factors.
