In order to investigate characteristics of floor impact sound generated in the apartment buildings, questionnaire survey was conducted for respondents living in apartments in 200t. Questions in the surrey were on the characteristics of real impact sounds, subjective annoyance and satisfaction on the heavy and light impact sources. From the survey results, it was found that most annoying time of a day and the space were 8 p.m. to midnight at living room. It was also revealed that the main source of the floor impact sound from the upper floor is a child's jumping and running at from six to nine. More than half of people were not satisfied on the floor impact isolation performance of their own apartments. The percentage of residents who were annoyed by the heavy-weight impact sound such as children's jumping and adult's walking was $5{\sim}10%$ lower than by light-weight impact sound. In addition, females being responded more annoyed by floor impact sound than males.

This study examines wearing conditions of skinny jeans for women in their 20's. The study is based on a questionnaire survey. The survey was conducted on 313 Korean 20's women living in Gwangju to analyze wearing dissatisfaction with skinny jeans. The final analysis included 298 responses and the content of the questionnaire consisted of 28 questions. The study used descriptive statistics for analysis using SPSS Statistics 20.0. According to the questionnaire survey, 20's women are the largest group that wear skinny jeans and they have a positive image of them. However, they do not know the exact size for skinny jeans, whereas they are knowledgeable about their general pants size. The results of the survey on the state of wearing dissatisfaction indicate that they think that the difference in size by each brand is the most difficult part when choosing skinny jeans and they felt lower body uncomfortableness in the waist and abdominal positions. It means that size subdivision and pattern development of skinny jeans should be suitable to all lower body types to resolve wearing dissatisfaction. This study represents base data for size subdivision and pattern development of skinny jeans.

Most previous studies, in general, related to housing needs have analyzed the data from self-administered survey or interview using questionnaire or simple 2D floor plan. This study was Intended to suggest how to increase the reliability and effectiveness of such survey methods in examining the residents' housing needs. In order to accomplish the purpose, the two kinds of surveys using Web based VR media and typical questionnaire were peformed. The same questions were used for these two surveys, and they included the furniture characteristics, use of each room, adjustment of room size, preferences for interior colors, preferred furniture in living room, space layout of floor plan, housing life style, and preference for housing characteristics. The answer differences between these two were analyzed. The subjects were 402 housewives who lived in apartment houses in Haeundae, Busan. Finding were as follows: first, the media method was more likely to be effective than typical questionnaire survey in explaining housing needs for the adjustment of room size in housing unit plan. Second, the media method was more realistic and reliable than the other in comprehending the needs for the interior colors. Last, the VR media tended to be more effective than the other in understanding the space layout of floor plan. This research sheds light on the utilization of visual instrument for the analysis of needs related to space use.

The objective of this study was to establish Facility classification for military barracks among military facilities. The military barracks are the place where soldiers spend most of their time. Thus, a new type of space in military barracks is required to improve the quality of life of the soldiers and make the military more advanced for national defense. The research method was to derive problems through a survey of the previous literature and case studies and to select target places in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine based on the derived problems. An improvement scheme was proposed by developing criteria for military barracks spaces through a questionnaire survey. The following results were obtained: Facility classification inside of national defense military facility standard should be reorganized. The alternative plan is demanded for some camp which has no need about setting up the office facility. And the study of reasonable facility area after improvementing facility categorization is required.

Double-Skin Façade (DSF), which is a kind of passive indoor environmental control technique, is effective way to control environmental loads while maintaining the transparency especially in perimeter zone and hence the adoption example of DSF keep increasing recently. The objective of this study was to perform a field survey of air quality environment with natural ventilation through DSF and thermal environment within office building with six stories during a mild climate period in Japan. Moreover, to understand the comprehensive environmental performance of the target building, questionnaire survey was conducted to subjectively evaluate the productivity and satisfaction with the environmental factors in office space. In this field measurement, there was a positive correlation between the DSF internal ventilation flow and the amount of solar radiation on the DSF normal surface; the primary driving force for ventilation in the DSF was considered to be the buoyancy force caused by solar radiation. The results of questionnaire survey with regard to productivity level indicated the need for improvement in the thermal (temperature) and spatial environment (room size and furniture placement).

Objectives : The aim of this study was to investigate expert opinions on the questions contained in a questionnaire for diagnosing blood stasis accompanying metabolic disorders. Methods : Two rounds of Delphi survey were conducted online targeting on one hundred Korean medicine doctors. Respondents rated the appropriateness of the 30 questions in diagnosing metabolic disorder on a five-point scale, anchored at '5 = very appropriate', '4 = appropriate', '3 = somewhat appropriate', '2 = inappropriate', and '1 = very inappropriate'. Results : The mean score on 30 questions of first and second Delphi survey was 3.26 points and 3.31 points, respectively. The ranking of the top 10 questions that were rated as appropriate for diagnosing blood stasis accompanying metabolic disorder were 'sublingual varices', 'reddish black tongue', 'reddish black gum', 'reddish black lips', ''dark purple palatal mucosa and venous edema', 'night pain, 'ecchymosis of the tongue', 'piercing pain', 'ecchymosis of the skin' and 'prolonged numbness'. Conclusions : The experts agreed that three of the most typical symptoms of blood stasis and the conditions of capillary vessels in the tongue or the oral cavity were highly associated with metabolic disorder, whereas the questions related to abdominal pain lacked an association with metabolic disorders.

To examine the current states of community survey performance with its contents and methods, a questionnaire survey was made for 92 public libraries in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon area. 47 libraries(70%) have conducted community survey during last 5 years. The frequency has increased since 2001. Considering the content item as separate entity, the average is 1.7 times per library. The main purpose of the survey was to understand the resident's need and a questionnaire survey method was applied dominantly. Problems involved with the lack of budget, time, and the librarian's ability are identified as obstacles. Based on the analysis, recommendations such as acknowledgement, administrations and financial support, establishment of standards, education and train information are suggested to promote the community survey.

This survey is to know the present situation and effective alternatives of mathematics gifted education program for the 5-8 grade students in Korea. This is aiming at finding effective ideas useful to the definition of the gifted, the development of the methods and tools for identification, the proper organization of program and urgent issues. The number of collected questionnaire available by mailing is 92; 21 specialists, 24 experienced teachers and 47 scholars who are concerned with the education for the gifted. In this study, analyze the status and problem of a noise and vibration control laws of it through the questionnaire. The method of survey was made by questionnaires which were the civil worker 138 persons and civil servant 132 persons. Based on this survey, we suggest a improvement of the noise and vibration control laws.
