Since the STCW-F convention was adopted, The states concerned, has been investigated in many ways to adopt the prevailing circumstance and condition, accordingly, all preparation will be provided to accept the STCW-F convention to promote the safety of life and prevention of pollution. Prior to enter into force of this convention, we have to investigate the matter of policies, and must have great international concern to the seamen's education. Especially, we should discuss functional skill and knowledge matrix of fishing vessel seamen's education with the supplementary studies, and therefore, we should reflect to the contents, methods of education, inducement of advanced technics, application of education all aids to meet the acceptance of STCW-F convention. Also, we are attempt to implement to accept high quality of fishing vessel seamen's education as the application of simulator and any other advanced devices in future.

In this paper, we analyzed the freshmen's achievements on general mathematics their GPA based on 'basic mathematics diagonal test score' among college entrance types in natural science or engineering. Also, we studied the achievements of students who were not passed the 'Basic Mathematics Diagonal Test (BMDT)' and had to take supplementary lessons to improve their mathematics abilities four times a week during the first semester of academic year 2012 in Mokpo National University. We found the followings; first, freshmen were accepted by the university through the regular admission have a higher level of academic achievement compared other type admission. Second, freshmen's academic achievement in the first semester has significant meaningful effect on their academic achievement in the second semester. Finally, there are correlations between achievements of general mathematics and a curriculum of freshmen who were passed test after taking supplementary lessons.

We consider a retrial queue with two classes of customers where arrivals of class 1(resp. class 2) customers are MMPP and Poisson process, respectively. In the case taht arriving customers are blocked due to the channel being busy, the class 1 customers are queued in priority group and are served as soon as the channel is free, whereas the class 2 customers enter the retrial group in order to try service again after a random amount of time. We consider the following retrial rate control policy, which reduces their retrial rate as more customers join the retrial group; their retrial times are inversely proportional to the number of customers in the retrial group. We find the joint generating function of the numbers of custormers in the two groups by the supplementary variable method.

In the last few years, interest in computer science education has increased significantly. The curriculum is being revised to introduce computer science. Although interest has focused on coding as the main subject, in fact the computer science includes much more than coding. It engages people in being creative with technology as well as understanding the fundamental principles of computer science. Therefore, it is important to consider the curriculum to provide a foundation by teaching and learning computer science. The curriculum is required the development of courses to teach computer science for non-majors in general education. To think like a computer scientist on the knowledge of computer science is computational thinking. In order to maximize the effectiveness of teaching and learning for computational thinking, various teaching methods and supplementary learning materials, and activities should be developed and provided.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the design guidance of education facilities by analysing Alvaro Siza's education facilities of which considered having idiosyncratic spatial characteristics. Focusing on the his planning of learning and transitional space of education facilities, this study aims at eliciting the spatial characteristics of his architecture. In doing so, this study tries to figure out his basic method of reification of his basic architectural concept which is articulated in learning space and transitional space of education facilities by introducing the boundary element and penetration of light in order to support student's learning activity and foster abundant cognitive experiences. Therefore, this study presents the feasible supplementary design method for future education facilities to be appropriate not just for quantitative factors, but for qualititative aspects such as user's psychological fulfillment, and emotional satisfaction.

Conventional studies of Computer Assisted Instruction(CAI) and Intelligent Tutoring System(ITS) have been general patterns to solve problems, so to solve specialized problems, the learner which has the attitude of passiveness should to solve problems including unnecessary processing to the need of the system. Consequently, those are not support the process of creativity and individual problems for the learner to solve the fractional number operations as this study. This study is the design and implementation of ITS on the fractional number addition and subtraction for the supplementary student. Our system can diagnosis mistakes of learning and guide the student to know their errors of learning process automatically And our system assist the learners to study with self-initiative learning, replacement their lacking of learning and control the process of fractional addition and subtraction operation with creativity according to their level. We showed that this system had improved problems of lacking care to supplementary student result in are not enough teachers involved their school and that the learner had achieved the higher learning effect according to the improved self-initiative learning causing this system.

This study describes the beginning and further development of a collection web-based materials for an efficient approach to culinary practice education. A database was created using a five-step process of analysis, design, development, operation and evaluation. The menu for the web-based culinary practice educational materials included cooking basics, the real status of cooking, cooking related knowledge, performance evaluation, a data room and a bulletin board. As at 30 July, 2010, the datadase of educational materials, contained a total of 571 items. These comprised 139 cooking pictures, 33 recipes, 22 cooking videos, 74 cooking animations, 57 collections of basic knowledge, 14 evaluation reports, 21 supplementary textbooks, and 211 sets of other related information. The webbased materials are adequate for culinary education purposes, and their use is expected to be very highly valued.

The Korean people are all the beneficiaries of medical insurance or medical aid. It is important and needful to develop the preventive health program such as health examination and health education for disease prevention and health promotion of the beneficiaries. This paper diagnoses the status and problems of the current preventive health services to the beneficiaries and recommends how to develop the preventive health program in the medical insurance. This paper suggests that the government should strengthen the political support and supervision in order to develop the preventive health program in the medical insurance. In addition to the above suggestion, the following are recommended ; 1) to designate the large number of qualified hospitals for health examination. 2) to use the supplementary methods such as the health questionnaires in order to give the accurate health examination services. 3) to combine the health examinations by both laws of medical insurance and industrial health. 4) to arrange the manpower in charge of health education and to establish the health promotion centers. 5) to develop the effective mass media and materials for health education by use of TV, radio, VTR and slide projector.

It is necessary to take advantage of this information infrastructure for the purpose of developing an engineering education system. But the networking system was expensive or hard to develop. The current international networking is converging to the use of the World Wide Web system. It has become a new standard for global network communication. But there are not a great number of applications which take full advantage of this environment. In this Imper, an interactive education system for engineering education using the World Wide Web will be presented. This can be used as a supplementary kit for engineering education of synchronous machine design. The system is developed using JAVA and can be accessed using Web browsers.
