계층구조분석기법을 이용한 합격률 예측모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A study of development to the ratio of successful applicants forecasting model using AHP)

  • We need a study of the ratio of successful applicants control methodology about the national technical qualification under the global-green industrial society and rapid change of international circumstances, infinite competition rider society under FTA aspects. It is necessary to develop of HRD Korea selfishness and increase brand value of national technical qualification. So, this study is analysed to the ratio of successful applicants of national technical qualification toward change of the 'bank of problems' control rule, various characters of candidates and the trend of demand and supply of labours instead of the absolute evaluation method. Accordingly, this study suggests to a methodology for the forecasting model of the ratio of successful applicants using the level of problems difficulty and pattern and the candidates academical carriers.

역과보(譯科譜)에 대한 서지적 연구 (Bibliographical Research on Yeogkwa Bo)

  • 역과보(譯科譜)는 역과입격자(譯科入格者) 명단인 역과방목(譯科榜目) 등과 같은 1차 정보원을 기초로 재편집된 역사적 인명정보원이다. 본고는 7종의 현전 역과보를 조사하고, 내용을 분석하였다. 특히 역과보의 기록하한선으로 1882년이 언급되어 왔으나, 조사결과 현전 역과보는 1807년부터 최대 1891년까지를 수록기간으로 하고 있음을 밝혔다. 수록성씨, 본관, 역과입격자 총수 및 기록내용의 비교 결과 일본 천리대학(天理大學)의 ${\ulcorner}$역보(譯譜)${\lrcorner}$가 가장 광범위하고 충실하며, 국내본 중 장서각의 ${\ulcorner}$역과보(譯科譜)${\lrcorner}$가 대체적으로 우수하나 모두 기록의 누락이나 오류, 글자혼동 등의 문제가 있음을 발견되었다. 따라서 역과입격자 개인에 대한 정보뿐 만 아니라 그 가계 및 선대에 대한 정보를 제공해주는 역과보 참조시 역과방목을 통한 확인 작업이 필요하다고 판단된다.

기본지리정보를 활용한 대학입학관리시스템 개발 (Development of Matriculation Management System Using GIS National Framework Data)

  • 대학 입학생의 수가 급격히 감소하면서 각 대학 당국에서는 많은 입학생 유치와 학교 운영의 문제를 개선하기 위하여 다양한 방안을 모색하고 있다. 특히 대학의 입시 및 입학현황 자료는 대학당국의 입학 및 홍보정책을 결정하고, 나아가 학교생활복지를 향상하는데 있어서 중요성이 매우 높은 자료이다. 따라서 다양한 입시 및 입학 관련 현황 자료와 대학 결정 요인을 고려한 효율적인 분석이 이루어질 수 있는 입학관리시스템의 도입이 절실히 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 기본지리정보 데이터를 바탕으로 대학입시 지원자, 합격자 및 등록자의 자료에 대하여 분석할 수 있는 대학입학관리시스템을 개발하였으며, 해당 시스템을 이용하여 지역별 지원자, 지역별 합격자, 지역별 등록자, 지원자 대비 합격률 및 최근3년간 지원자 변화율을 분석할 수 있었다. 또한 대학의 입학홍보정책 및 학교운영에 요구되는 합리적이고 적합한 자료를 제공할 것으로 판단된다.

Identifying Barriers Faced by Applicants without a Home Residency Program when Matching into Plastic Surgery

  • Background Applying into plastic surgery (PS) is competitive. Lacking a home residency program (HRP) is another barrier. Our goal is to characterize challenges faced by PS applicants without HRPs and identify solutions. Methods Surveys were designed for current integrated PS residents and applicants in the 2022 Match without HRPs. Surveys were distributed electronically. Only U.S. allopathic graduate responses were included. Results Of 182 individuals surveyed, 74 responded (39%, 33 residents, 41 applicants). Sixty-six percent reported feeling disadvantaged due to lack of an HRP. Seventy-six percent of applicants successfully matched. Of these, 48% felt they required academic time off (research year) versus 10% of unmatched applicants. Ninety-seven percent of matched applicants identified a mentor versus 40% of unmatched applicants (p < 0.05). Matched applicants identified mentors through research (29%) and cold calling/emailing (25%). Matched versus unmatched applicants utilized the following resources: senior students (74 vs. 10%, p < 0.05) and social media (52 vs. 10%, p < 0.05). Among residents, 16 had PS divisions (48%). Thirty-six percent with divisions felt they had opportunities to explore PS, compared with 12% without divisions. Residents without divisions felt disadvantaged in finding research (94 vs. 65%, p < 0.05), delayed in deciding on PS (50 vs. 28%), and obtaining mentors (44 vs. 35%) and letters of recommendation (31 vs. 24%). Conclusion PS residents and applicants without HRPs reported feeling disadvantaged when matching. The data suggest that access to departments or divisions assists in matching. We identified that external outreach and research were successful strategies to obtain mentorship. To increase awareness for unaffiliated applicants, we should increase networking opportunities during local, regional, and national meetings.

유아교육과 지원자의 유아에 대한 이미지와 입학 후 유아에 대한 이미지 변화 연구 (A Study on Changes in the Images of Children Possessed by Applicants for the Department of Early Childhood Education after They Enter the Department)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 유아교육과 지원자의 유아에 대한 이미지를 살펴보고 합격자를 대상으로 유아교육 전공 1학년 과정을 마친 후 유아에 대한 이미지가 변화했는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 유아교육자 지원자 328명과 합격한 후 1학년을 마친 25명이었다. 자료수집방법은 그림 그리기 은유를 사용하였고 수집된 자료는 내용 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 유아교육과 지원자들의 유아에 대한 이미지는 '정성, 사랑, 관심이 필요한 존재', '가르치고 이끌어야 하는 존재', '자유분방하고 개성이 있는 존재', '밝고 순수하여 행복을 주는 존재', '학습과 성장 잠재능력을 가진 존재' '여리고 연약한 존재'로 나타났고, 입학 후 1년이 지난 시점에는 교사로서 자신이 가르쳐야 하는 대상으로 이해하고 유아기에 대한 발달적 지식을 바탕으로 한 이미지로 변화하였음을 보여 주었다.

수의과대학 입학전형별 합격자의 학업성취도, 졸업역량, 학업지속비율 비교 연구 (Comparison of academic achievement, graduation competency and academic sustainability of veterinary students based on college admission processes)

  • A university's admission policy is established to select applicants who can successfully complete the curriculum. Thus, it is important to develop optimal admissions processes for applicant selection. This study was conducted to infer the most suitable admission processes for veterinary school applicants by examining academic achievement, graduation competency and academic sustainability. It was conducted on students admitted from 2009 to 2018 at one of the veterinary colleges in Korea. The admission methods were divided into, first the regular admission (RA) process, primarily reflecting the results of the College Scholastic Ability Test, and second, the rolling admission processes. The rolling processes were further divided into admission officer-based (AO), high school grade point average-based (GA), essay test-based (ET), admission for the underprivileged (UP) and admission for overseas Koreans and foreigners (OKF). The final grade point average was observed to be higher in the order of the GA, AO and RA groups. The survey on the veterinary graduation competency did not reveal any difference between the regular and rolling admission processes. However, among the latter, AO-based admission showed a higher ratio of outstanding competency levels. In terms of academic sustainability, OKF admission demonstrated a higher rate of failure while RA showed a higher rate of expulsion and dropout. Summarizing the above results, the most successful veterinary applicants were selected through AO-based admission. These results are meaningful in providing the basic information required to establish admission policies for veterinary colleges in Korea.

What Factors Do Government Subsidy Programs Care about for Inter-Firm Collaboration? Priortization of Evaluation Criteria of Small Business Collabortation Grant, Korea

  • Purpose: In this study we aim to identify factors affecting successful inter-firm collaboration. We tried to find out whether government subsidies to small-business owners should be made to experienced and competent cooperatives or to cooperatives with potential even if inexperienced. Research design, data and methodology: Using analytic hierarchy process (AHP), we examine if evaluation criteria for the Small Business Collaboration Grant (SBCG) reflect the potential of successful collaboration of applicant cooperatives. Results: We found that experts tend to think that applicant cooperatives without any experience as a recipient for the SBSG need to be evaluated by their growth potential and their preparation of the application rather than by their business performance or achievement history. The weight of the evaluation must be different between the growth potential and the achievements already achieved. By means of an expert survey, we confirmed that Rookies should weigh evaluation indicators that can reflect their growth potential, and experienced groups should give weight to evaluation indicators that can reflect their achievements. Conclusions: For SBCG applicants with experiences, experts tend to weigh more on SBCG business performances and feasible sharing systems. The screening procedure for the first applicant cooperatives need to focus more on "partner selection" stage, whereas elements related to "realization" apply to experienced applicant cooperatives.

대학입학지원을 위한 기본지리정보의 활용 (Application of National Framework Data for Matriculation Support)

  • As a number of new college students is gradually decreasing, each college is trying to find various solutions for gathering many students and operating a school. In specialty, information such as entrance examination and matriculation status data is very important for a college to decide a direction of admission and public relations policy, and increase welfare of the school. Therefore, it is seriously needed for a school to introduce a matriculation management system that can do the effective analysis through various entrance examination and matriculation status data and decision factors of school. In this study, I developed a matriculation management system which can analyze information of applicants, successful candidates and registrants based on national framework data. It is expected that the developed system can provide appropriate and rational information for public relations policy and operation to a college.

실내건축 관련 자격검정의 개선방향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement direction of Interior Architecture connection Qualification)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the problems of the existing interior architecture connection qualification and propose the desirable direction of development. To do this, this study suggested basic materials for the connection between the qualification for interior architecture and practical business, and for an efficient qualification. For methods, first, this study analyzed the flow and the ratio of successful applicants of the qualification of interior architecture in order to consider problems. Secondly, this study grasped the composition of examination. Thirdly, this study examined the changes of the questions in standards. Fourth, this study investigated overseas examples. In addition, this study conducted a questionnaire for professionals engaging in practical business in order to contribute for establishing the desirable frame of qualification of interior architecture through the analysis and comparison of the results.

FMEA를 이용한 국가기술자격의 발전방향 (The Development of the National Technical Qualification using FMEA)

  • Although the national technical qualification scheme has a historical background for thirty-five years, it hasn't any study of an obvious cause analysis, effective counterplan and analysis relation to its historical changes. This paper analyses the internal and external factors of technical qualification policy of the Human resources development service of Korea using PEST and SWOT and surveys the influence on its environment and the variation cause of the ratio of successful applicants to the qualification scheme. This paper also suggests systematically the direction for development of the technical qualification scheme using FMEA. Thus, this study assists to construct rapidly a correspondence system to the environment change simultaneously to determine decision making to the marketing policy.
