수몰지구 보상관리 지리정보시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (Development of Submerged Land Compensation Management Geographic Information System)

  • 우리나라 정부나 지방자치단체에서는 댐이나 도로건설로 편입되는 토지나 지장물에 대한 보상관련 지급여부 및 지급관련데이터를 문서형태 혹은 엑셀파일 형태로 보관/관리하여 왔다. 사업지구의 보상관련 데이터 관리는 대단위 관급공사의 경우 보상금 지급 및 입력 정보 확인 등의 업무에 문서와 인력에 의존함으로써 시간이나 경제적으로 비효율적으로 운영되고 있으며 보상 물건이 방대해짐에 따라 그 자료의 저장 및 보관도 큰 문제로 대두되게 되었다. 이에 문서로만 관리해 왔던 보상관련 위치정보와 속성정보를 연계한 지리정보시스템과 보상관련 업무처리 응용프로그램을 개발하여 보상자료에 대한 입력, 저장, 검색, 처리의 효율성을 도모하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 도면(지적도면, 수치지형도 등)과 문서(토지대장 등)형태의 보상정보를 보다 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 보상관련 데이터베이스를 바탕으로 한 수몰지구 보상관리 지리정보시스템을 개발하였다. 보상관리 지리정보시스템은 경계측량 필요지역, 실태조사 실시여부, 미 보상지역, 이중 보상지역 등의 검색 및 표시기능과 도면갱신 기능을 포함하고 있어 보상관리에 신속하고 신뢰성 있는 정보를 관리자와 민원인에게 제공하여 다양한 정보화 효과를 창출할 것으로 기대된다.

Investigation of the Collapsed Lands Under the Sea Based on Cadastral and Topographic Survey

  • Lands along the coast may be submerged in high water because of erosion by sea water, collapsing by itself, excavation by animals, and by tidal movement. From a cadastral point of view, some mistakes in registering a parcel located along the coast may cause the parcel to seem to be collapsed. Therefore, geological, physical oceanographic, and cadastral and topographic investigation are necessary to verify that the submerged land in high water collapsed after it was registered. This paper presents a cadastral and topographic investigation for proving a parcel has collapsed under the sea after registered. In this study, cadastral records and the boundary on cadastral maps were examined carefully to find any errors in them. If the topographic maps were drawn when the parcel was registered, it is good proof of topography of the land at that time. Topographic maps drawn recently were compared to those in the 1900s and in 1970s. In conclusion, cadastral records and maps as well as topographic maps play an important role in proving whether lands along the coast were collapsed or not.

Feasibility Study of Submerged Floating Tunnels Moored by an Inclined Tendon System

  • Concepts of submerged floating tunnels (SFTs) for land connection have been continuously suggested and developed by several researchers and institutes. To maintain their predefined positions under various dynamic environmental loading conditions, the submerged floating tunnels should be effectively moored by reasonable mooring systems. With rational mooring systems, the design of SFTs should be confirmed to satisfy the structural safety, fatigue, and operability design criteria related to tunnel motion, internal forces, structural stresses, and the fatigue life of the main structural members. This paper presents a feasibility study of a submerged floating tunnel moored by an inclined tendon system. The basic structural concept was developed based on the concept of conventional cable-stayed bridges to minimize the seabed excavation, penetration, and anchoring work by applying tower-inclined tendon systems instead of conventional tendons with individual seabed anchors. To evaluate the structural performance of the new type of SFT, a hydrodynamic analysis was performed in the time domain using the commercial nonlinear finite element code ABAQUS-AQUA. For the main dynamic environmental loading condition, an irregular wave load was examined. A JONSWAP wave spectrum was used to generate a time-series wave-induced hydrodynamic load considering the specific significant wave height and peak period for predetermined wave conditions. By performing a time-domain hydrodynamic analysis on the submerged floating structure under irregular waves, the motional characteristics, structural stresses, and fatigue damage of the floating tunnel and mooring members were analyzed to evaluate the structural safety and fatigue performance. According to the analytical study, the suggested conceptual model for SFTs shows very good hydrodynamic structural performance. It can be concluded that the concept can be considered as a reasonable structural type of SFT.

Multi-objective optimization of submerged floating tunnel route considering structural safety and total travel time

  • The submerged floating tunnel (SFT) infrastructure has been regarded as an emerging technology that efficiently and safely connects land and islands. The SFT route problem is an essential part of the SFT planning and design phase, with significant impacts on the surrounding environment. This study aims to develop an optimization model considering transportation and structure factors. The SFT routing problem was optimized based on two objective functions, i.e., minimizing total travel time and cumulative strains, using NSGA-II. The proposed model was applied to the section from Mokpo to Jeju Island using road network and wave observation data. As a result of the proposed model, a Pareto optimum curve was obtained, showing a negative correlation between the total travel time and cumulative strain. Based on the inflection points on the Pareto optimum curve, four optimal SFT routes were selected and compared to identify the pros and cons. The travel time savings of the four selected alternatives were estimated to range from 9.9% to 10.5% compared to the non-implemented scenario. In terms of demand, there was a substantial shift in the number of travel and freight trips from airways to railways and roadways. Cumulative strain, calculated based on SFT distance, support structure, and wave energy, was found to be low when the route passed through small islands. The proposed model helps decision-making in the planning and design phases of SFT projects, ultimately contributing to the progress of a safe, efficient, and sustainable SFT infrastructure.

수문기상 관측정보를 활용한 안동댐 유역 기후권역 구분 및 분석 (Analyzing Climate Zones Using Hydro-Meteorological Observation Data in Andong Dam Watershed, South Korea)

  • Watershed area can be submerged due to constructions and management of dams, and these change can impact not only on ecosystem and environment of river basin area but also on local climate. This study is conducted to construct and classify climate zones of Andong Dam watershed where the area is submerged due to the construction of the dam. By applying Principal Components Analysis (PCA) and Getis-Ord $Gi^*$ statistics, three climate zones were classified for the result. Each zone was then analyzed and validated with climatic and geological features including topography, land cover, and forest type map. As a result of the analysis, there was a difference in temperature, elevation, precipitation and tree species distribution among the zones. Also, an analysis of land cover map showed that there were more agricultural land near Andong Reservoir. This study on the climatic classification is considered to be useful as the basis for decision-making or policy enforcement regarding ecosystem, environmental management or climate change response.

새만금 간척지일대 염습지 생태복원을 위한 식생학적 연구 - 염생식물 발아 전략 및 특성 - (Studies on Vegetation for Ecological Restoration of Salt Marshes in Saemangeum Reclaimed Land - Germination Strategies and Character of Halophytes -)

  • A study on vegetation in the Mangyeong River and Dongjin River basins and the surrounding regions of the Saemangeum Reclaimed Land was conducted in a series of efforts to determine the expected ecological changes in the salt marshes, to restore their vegetation, to explore the restoring force of halophyte, to examine the community mechanism and, ultimately, to rehabilitate marshy land vegetation along the lakeside, coastal dune and salt marshes of the Saemangeum Project Area. The findings of the study may be summed up as follows: Five species such as Suaeda japonica, Salicornia herbacea, Atriplex gmelini, Aster tripolium and Suaeda asparagoides that are mostly distributed in the estuary of the Saemangeum Reclaimed Land were analyzed to examine the mechanism of halophyte to maintain their community. To find out the strategies of plants for survival and the cause of forming community structure, a research was made as for appearance ratio of young sapling. From the results of laboratory analysis into dynamics of the saplings of halophyte, it was revealed that the germination ratio of the dry area and submerged area decreases in the order of Suaeda asparagoides, Suaeda japonica, Salicornia herbacea, Atriplex gmelini and Aster tripolium.

탄성지지 보이론을 이용한 해중철도 간이 충돌해석법 (Simplified Collision Analysis Method for Submerged Floating Railway Using the Theory of a Beam with an Elastic Foundation)

  • 해중철도는 파도와 바람의 영향을 크게 받지 않는 해중을 통과하는 터널내에 고속열차가 운행하는 철도시스템으로 수심에 관계없이 설치할 수 있고, 모듈별 육상 제작후 해상 대조립으로 건설이 가능하기 때문에 건설비용이 획기적으로 절감될 수 있는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 해중철도의 개념설계안을 소개하고 안전성 확보를 위해 해중에서 잠수함과 충돌하는 경우를 대상으로 해중철도의 구조적 거동을 해석할 수 있는 기법을 제시하고자 한다. 탄성지지된 보이론을 활용하여 해중철도 함체의 등가 질량을 계산하고 잠수함과 완전탄성 충돌시 속도를 계산하고 에너지 보존의 원리에 따라 함체의 변형량과 최대굽힘모멘트를 계산하였다. 결과의 검증을 위해 보요소를 사용하여 충돌 유한요소해석을 실시하였고, 비교를 통해 타당성을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 충돌 이론 해법은 간편하게 함체의 변형량과 최대굽힘모멘트를 계산할 수 있어 초기 설계시에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다.

동해의 해양침적쓰레기 성상 및 공간 분포 특성 연구 (The Characteristics of the Compositions and Spatial Distributions of Submerged Marine Debris in the East Sea)

  • 한반도는 삼면이 바다로 둘러싸여 있으며, 많은 강과 하천이 바다와 연결되어 있기 때문에 육상에서의 쓰레기 유입이 되기 쉽다. 또한 해상에서는 활발한 수산업 활동과 다양한 레저 활동으로 인해 쓰레기 유입이 많다. 바다에 유입된 쓰레기는 시간이 지남에 따라 무게가 가해져 가라앉아 해저에 침적하게 되며, 해저에 산재되어 있기 때문에 직접 확인이 불가능하고 수거에 어려움이 있다. 수거되지 못한 해양침적쓰레기는 해저 생태계 및 수질에 영향을 미치게 되며, 특히 폐그물로프와 폐어구로 인한 유령어업과 선박사고가 발생할 수 있다는 점이 있다. 따라서 해당 성상의 쓰레기들(폐그물로프와 폐어구)은 우선적으로 수거가 이루어져야하기 때문에 분포 특성을 파악할 필요가 있다. 그 일환으로 본 연구에서는 국내 39개 항을 대상으로 해양에 침적되어 있는 쓰레기 조사를 실시했다. 그 중 동해에 대해서 GIS 기반의 공간 분석을 통해 해양침적쓰레기 성상별 분포 지도를 작성하고, 분포 특성을 파악하였다. 결과적으로 동해에서 폐타이어가 58 %로 구성되었고, 방파제 및 선박 접안 시설에 분포가 밀집되었다. 그리고 폐합성수지가 26 %로 구성되어 항외에도 분포가 있었다. 각 성상별 뚜렷한 분포 특성을 파악하기는 어려웠지만 폐합성수지가 다른 성상들과 비교해 항외에 분포되는 특성이 있었다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 분포 특성을 통해서 해양침적쓰레기 수거에 도움이 될 기초 자료로 제공될 수 있다.

Characterization of β-Glucosidase Produced by the White Rot Fungus Flammulina velutipes

  • β-Glucosidase production by the white rot fungus Flammulina velutipes CFK 3111 was evaluated using different carbon and nitrogen sources under submerged fermentation. Maximal extracellular enzyme production was 1.6 U/ml, corresponding to a culture grown in sucrose 40 g/land asparagine 10 g/l. High production yield was also obtained with glucose 10 g/land asparagine 4 g/l medium (0.5 U/ml). Parameters affecting the enzyme activity were studied using p-nitrophenyl-β-D-glucopyranoside as the substrate. Optimal activity was found at 50℃ and pHs 5.0 to 6.0. Under these conditions, β-glucosidase retained 25% of its initial activity after 12 h of incubation and exhibited a half-life of 5 h. The addition of MgCl2, urea, and ethanol enhanced the β-glucosidase activity up to 47%, whereas FeCl2, CuSO4, Cd(NO3)2, and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide inflicted a strong inhibitory effect. Glucose and cellobiose also showed an inhibitory effect on the β-glucosidase activity in a concentration-dependent manner. The enzyme had an estimated molecular mass of 75 kDa. To the best of our knowledge, F. velutipes CFK 3111 β-glucosidase production is amongst the highest reported to date, in a basidiomycetous fungus.

자유 말단형 침지식 분리막을 이용한 정수장 배출수 처리 연구 - 막오염 발생 원인과 해결 방안 - (A study on the treatment of water discharge from the water treatment plant using end-free submerged membrane - Causes and solution of membrane fouling -)

  • As water resources are limited and legal regulations are strengthened, there is a growing need to reuse residuals in WTP(Water Treatment Plant). In this study, membrane filtration system was constructed and its operation method was studied for water quality stabilization and reuse of WTP residuals. The operation parameters were stable for 1 year and 6 months. Membrane fouling was identified as particulate pollution (activated carbon) and inorganic pollution (manganese). The membrane system was operated steadily with raw water of high concentration SS(Suspended solid) containing activated carbon because membrane fouling was reduced by the effect of End-Free type. In the case of inorganic contamination, dissolved manganese eluted by chemicals and acted as a membrane fouling source, and the operating conditions for minimizing membrane fouling. were confirmed by newly developing application methods and types of cleaning chemicals. Based on the results, design parameters for reducing manganese membrane fouling were derived.
