  • To improve the effect of image restoration and solve the image detail loss, an image dehazing enhancement algorithm based on mean guided filtering is proposed. The superpixel calculation method is used to pre-segment the original foggy image to obtain different sub-regions. The Ncut algorithm is used to segment the original image, and it outputs the segmented image until there is no more region merging in the image. By means of the mean-guided filtering method, the minimum value is selected as the value of the current pixel point in the local small block of the dark image, and the dark primary color image is obtained, and its transmittance is calculated to obtain the image edge detection result. According to the prior law of dark channel, a classic image dehazing enhancement model is established, and the model is combined with a median filter with low computational complexity to denoise the image in real time and maintain the jump of the mutation area to achieve image dehazing enhancement. The experimental results show that the image dehazing and enhancement effect of the proposed algorithm has obvious advantages, can retain a large amount of image detail information, and the values of information entropy, peak signal-to-noise ratio, and structural similarity are high. The research innovatively combines a variety of methods to achieve image dehazing and improve the quality effect. Through segmentation, filtering, denoising and other operations, the image quality is effectively improved, which provides an important reference for the improvement of image processing technology.

  • Diagnostic support systems are being researched to assist operators in identifying and responding to abnormal events in a nuclear power plant. Most studies to date have considered single abnormal events only, for which it is relatively straightforward to obtain data to train the deep learning model of the diagnostic support system. However, cases in which multiple abnormal events occur must also be considered, for which obtaining training data becomes difficult due to the large number of combinations of possible abnormal events. This study proposes an approach to maintain diagnostic performance for multiple abnormal events by training a deep learning model with data on single abnormal events only. The proposed approach is applied to an existing algorithm that can perform feature selection and multi-label classification. We choose an extremely randomized trees classifier to select dedicated monitoring parameters for target abnormal events. In diagnosing each event occurrence independently, two-channel convolutional neural networks are employed as sub-models. The algorithm was tested in a case study with various scenarios, including single and multiple abnormal events. Results demonstrated that the proposed approach maintained diagnostic performance for 15 single abnormal events and significantly improved performance for 105 multiple abnormal events compared to the base model.

  • In order to investigate the optimal design weight of sinkers for preventing cage net from deforming in current, the model experiment on 2 types of square cage nets with different S sub(n)/S, the ratio of total area of netting projected to the perpendicular to the water flow S sub(n) to wall area of netting S, and 4 kinds of sinkers was carried out in circulation water channel. The model cage nets were made in 1/10 scale and the total weight in water of 4 sinkers attached to each corner of their bottom frames was 18, 54, 90, and 126g, respectively equivalent to 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, and 0.7 kg per unit area of prototype net. The results obtained can be summarizes as follows; Due to the deformation of each net where it was lifted towards the surface in severe conditions, its volume was reduced. This depended highly on the weight of sinkers placed in the bottom corner of cage nets, even if the variation of S sub(n)/S had a little effect on their deformation in current less than 0.4 m/s. In addition, it was observed that the total weight of sinkers for preventing the net from deforming to the extent of less than 50% inside its initial volume was 31 to 245 kg in the range of 0.3 to 0.6 m/s and the adequate design weight of sinker was approximately 0.5 kg per its unit area.

  • Effect of daminozide concentration and application methods, in combination with different planting period, on the growth of chrysanthemum was investigated for small pot-plant production. Daminozide, a plant growth regulator widely used for plant height control, was applied by drench or sub-application. For pot chrysanthemums of first planting time, plant height was reduced over $4,000mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$, when daminozide was drenched directly into the pot medium. However, $5,000mg{\cdot}L^{-1}$ of daminozide drench affected plant height reduction for secondarily planted pot chrysanthemum. Analysis of variance revealed the plant height was affected by planting time. For sub-application experiment of daminozide, it showed that the daminozide affected the number of flower buds formation and fresh and dry weight. These results suggest that planting period affected growth retardation of chrysanthemum. Therefore, application of growth retardant in combination with planting time and application methods may provide more efficient growth control for pot-chrysanthemum production.

  • Previously most of flood prevention efforts have been made for relatively large watersheds near to channel flow. However, as economical development and the expansion of leisure areas to mountainous region, human casualty by flash flood occurs frequently, requiring additional prevention activity. Therefore, to reduce the damage of human lives and property by flash flood, we develop an assessment method for flash flood occurrence for mountainous areas considering various factors involving it. PROMETHEE(Preference Ranking Organization METHod for Enrichment Evaluations) which is one of the MCDM(Multi-Criteria Decision Making) was adopted to assess the contribution of each factor to the risk of the flash flood in the mountainous area. The main evaluation criteria are classified into three categories, namely, the regional and rainfall characteristics, and geographical features. Also, the Entropy method is used to determine the weight of each evaluation criteria without survey. The suggested method based on PROMETHEE with Entropy method is applied to BongHwa region to verify its applicability. After applied, the method successfully assesses the relative risk of flash flood occurrence of each sub region in the BongHwa region. Out of the seventeen sub-regions, five, seven and five of them are evaluated as high-risk, medium-risk, and low-risk, respectively. To verify the results, we searched the historical data of flash flood and the flash flood had occurred in one of high-risk sub-regions at 2008.

  • Due to COVID 19, we are facing unprecedented phenomena. Among various industries, the aviation industry, as it is directly affected by the corona crisis is actively establishing various survival strategies, such as expanding cargo transportation. The market size of air cargo transportation is continuously increasing due to the characteristics that distinguish it from other transportation, and as individualism and selfishness deepen in the aftermath of COVID 19, it can be inferred that the concept of reciprocity within distribution channels will become important in the post-corona era. The specific contents of this study(research question) are as follows. First, as a central member of the air logistics distribution channel, logistics service companies business process and the sub-dimensions of trust of are identified, and how trust is built with transportation companies is investigated. Second, the effect of such trust on the various performances of logistics service companies is analyzed. Third, we examine whether the influences of the sub-dimensions of trust change according to the perceived reciprocity of logistics service companies. In addition, we investigate whether the perceived reciprocity changed before and after the corona situation. In particular, this study theoretically integrates the concepts of trust and commitment, which have been distinguished in many prior studies, to improve the parsimony and practicality of the research model. This study will be able to present useful academic and practical implications by empirically examining how trust is built between members of the air logistics distribution channel and furthermore, how much it affects the performance of logistics service companies, and by identifying the moderating effect of reciprocity.

  • This study evaluated the effects of water velocity, substrates, and phosphorus concentrations on the growth of filamentous periphytic algae (FPA) in the two types of artificial channel systems using treated wastewater. Controlled parameters included 5 ${\sim}$ 15 cm $s^{-1}$ for the water velocity; 10 and 20 mm wire meshes, natural fiber net, gravel and tile for the substrates: and 0.05 ${\sim}$ 1.0 mgP $L^{-1}$ for the P concentration. Algal growth rate of FPA was compared using both chi. a and dry weight change with time. Under the controlled water velocity range, the growth of FPA increased with the velocity, but the maximum growth rate was shown in the velocity of 10 cm $s^{-1}$. The substrate that showed the maximum growth of FPA differed between the artificial channel and indoor channel, due to the influence of suspended matters which caused the clogging of the meshed substrates. Under the controled range of P concentration, the growth rates of all three FPA species (Spirogyra turfosa, Oedogonium fovelatum, Rhizoclonium riparium) increased with the P increase, but they showed the differential growth rates among different P concentrations. The results of this study suggest that under the circumstance having an large amount of nutrients FPA develop the biomass rapidly and that even a little increase over the threshold velocity causes the detachment of filamentous periphytic algae. Thus, FPA dynamics in eutrophic streams, such as those receiving treated wastewater, seem to be sensitive to the water velocity. On the other hand, detached algal filaments could deteriorate water quality and ecosystem function in receiving streams or down-stream, and thus they need to be recognized as an important factor in water quality management in eutrophic streams.

  • We have proposed a new structure of poly-silicon thin film transistor(TFT) which was fabricated the LDD region using doping oxide with graded spacer by etching shape retio. The devices of n-channel poly-si TFT's hydrogenated by $H_2$ and $HT_2$/plasma processes are fabricated for the devices reliability. We have biased the devices under the gate voltage stress conditions of maximum leakage current. The parametric characteristics caused by gate voltage stress conditions in hydrogenated devices are investigated by measuring /analyzing the drain current, leakage current, threshold voltage($V_{th}$), sub-threshold slope(S) and transconductance($G_m$) values. As a analyzed results of characteristics parameters, the degradation characteristics in hydrogenated n-channel polysilicon TFT's are mainly caused by the enhancement of dangling bonds at the poly-Si/$SiO_2$ interface and the poly-Si Brain boundary due to dissolution of Si-H bonds. The structure of novel proposed poly-Si TFT's are the simplity of the fabrication process steps and the decrease of leakage current by reduced lateral electric field near the drain region.

  • Transport of cyanobacterial toxins (microcystin-LR, -RR, -YR) were assessed from a eutrophic lake, Lake Suwa, through the outflowing river, the Tenryu River, and its irrigation channel branch. Temporal variation of phytoplankton species composition in the river coincided with those of the lake; Microcystis ichthyoblabe dominated from June to July, and M. viridis dominated from August to September. When cyanobacterial bloom occurred, microcystins were continuously detected at the concentration of $0.3{\sim}3.2\;{\mu}g/l$ even at 32 km downstream. The change of the content of three microcystin variants were related both with the total cell density of Microcystis and with the change of Microcystis species composition. When Microcystis ichthyoblabe dominated during July, only microcystin-RR (MC-RR) and -LR (MC-LR) were detected, while when Microcystis viridis dominated between August and October, microcystin-RR,-YR (MC -YR) and -LR were detected. Along 29 km flowing distance (flow time 11 hours) between site 2 and site 5 in the Tenryu River, cyanobacterial density and microcystin concentration were reduced by 73% and 72%, respectively, which is mostly contributed by the dilution effect of tributary waters (61% and 57%, respectively) . In the artificial irrigation channel microcystins and cyanobacterial cells were decreased less than in the natural river. The results indicate that cyanobacterial toxins can be transported far downstream without much removal and give hazards to water usage in downstream of eutrophic lakes with cyanobacterial blooms.

  • A comprehensive collection of proteins senses local changes in intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentrations ($[Ca^{2+}]_i$) and transduces these signals into responses to agonists. In the present study, we examined the effect of sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) on modulation of intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentrations in cat esophageal smooth muscle cells. To measure $[Ca^{2+}]_i$ levels in cat esophageal smooth muscle cells, we used a fluorescence microscopy with the Fura-2 loading method. S1P produced a concentration-dependent increase in $[Ca^{2+}]_i$ in the cells. Pretreatment with EGTA, an extracellular $Ca^{2+}$ chelator, decreased the S1P-induced increase in $[Ca^{2+}]_i$, and an L-type $Ca^{2+}$-channel blocker, nimodipine, decreased the effect of S1P. This indicates that $Ca^{2+}$ influx may be required for muscle contraction by S1P. When stimulated with thapsigargin, an intracellular calcium chelator, or 2-Aminoethoxydiphenyl borate (2-APB), an $InsP_3$ receptor blocker, the S1P-evoked increase in $[Ca^{2+}]_i$ was significantly decreased. Treatment with pertussis toxin (PTX), an inhibitor of $G_i$-protein, suppressed the increase in $[Ca^{2+}]_i$ evoked by S1P. These results suggest that the S1P-induced increase in $[Ca^{2+}]_i$ in cat esophageal smooth muscle cells occurs upon the activation of phospholipase C and subsequent release of $Ca^{2+}$ from the $InsP_3$-sensitive $Ca^{2+}$ pool in the sarcoplasmic reticulum. These results suggest that S1P utilized extracellular $Ca^{2+}$ via the L type $Ca^{2+}$ channel, which was dependent on activation of the $S1P_4$ receptor coupled to PTX-sensitive $G_i$ protein, via phospholipase C-mediated $Ca^{2+}$ release from the $InsP_3$-sensitive $Ca^{2+}$ pool in cat esophageal smooth muscle cells.
