  • The automotive industry has shown a growing interest in tube hydroforming during the past years. The advantages of hydroforming (less thinning, a more efficient manufacturing process, etc.) can, for instance, be combined with the high strength of extra high strength steels, which are usually less formable, to produce structural automotive components which exhibit lower weight and improved service performance. Design and production of tubular components require knowledge about tube material and forming behavior during hydroforming and how the hydroforming operation itself should be controlled. These issues are studied analytically in the present paper. In this study, the whole process of rear sub-frame parts development by tube hydroforming using AA6061 material is presented. At the part design stage, it requires feasibility study and process design aided by CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) to confirm hydroformability in details. Effects of parameters such as internal pressure, axial feeding and geometry shape in automotive rear sub-frame by hydroforming process were carefully investigated. Overall possibility of hydroformable rear sub-frame parts could be examined by cross sectional analyses. Moreover, it is essential to ensure the formability of tube material on every forming step such as pre-bending and hydroforming. In addition, all the components of prototyping tool are designed and interference with press is examined from the point of geometry and thinning.

  • 본 논문에서는 부 대역 처리를 이용하는 수중 통신에서 은밀성과 성능 향상 관점에서 효율적인 송수신 구조를 제시하였다. 은밀성적인 측면에서는 암호화된 부호화 비트를 블록으로 나누어 각 비트의 정보를 이용하여 중심 주파수와 부 대역을 결정하므로 은밀성을 유지하는 측면에서 효과적이다. 수중 통신에서 성능적인 측면에서는 다중 경로 특성, 도플러 확산, 프레임 동기 등이 성능에 영향을 미치는 결정적인 요소이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 요소들을 극복하기 위해, 비동기 에너지 검출 방식과 터보 등화 기법, 그리고 최적의 프레임 동기 방식을 제안하여 수신부에 적용하였다. 호수 실험에서 최적의 프레임 동기 방식을 수신부에 적용한 결과 다섯 개의 프레임 중에서 네 개의 프레임에서 오류를 모두 정정함을 확인하였다.

4D 프레임 활용 학습이 초등 수학영재학생의 공간감각 및 수학적 창의성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of 4D-Frame Teaching upon Mathematically Gifted Elementary Students' Mathematical Creativity and Spatial Sense)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 최근에 개발되어 도형학습에서 널리 사용되고 있는 4D 프레임을 활용한 수학영재 학습프로그램을 구안하고 이를 수업에 적용하여 초등 수학영재학생들의 공간감각과 수학적 창의성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 탐구하는데 있다. 이를 위해 2007 개정교육과정의 5, 6학년 도형영역의 학습내용을 분석하여 4D 프레임을 활용한 수학영재학습 프로그램을 구안하였다. 그리고 대구광역시 소재 ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$교육지원청 A, B초등학교의 영재학급에 소속된 6학년 36명(남:22명, 여:14명)을 연구대상으로 선정하고 본 연구자가 구안한 프로그램으로 수업을 실시하여 효과를 분석하였다. 그 결과 4D 프레임을 활용한 학습프로그램은 초등 수학영재학생들의 공간감각에 있어 유의미한 결과를 보였으며, 하위 요소에 있어서는 공간시각화 영역의 회전 요소와 공간 방향화 영역의 거리감각 및 물체의 구조인식 능력에서 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 또한 초등 수학영재학생들의 수학적 창의성에 있어서도 유의미한 결과를 보였으며 하위 요소에 있어서는 유창성, 융통성, 독창성 모두에서 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 따라서 4D 프레임 활용 학습 프로그램이 초등수학 영재학생들의 공간감각과 수학적 창의성 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • A FEM-based analytical approach was used to evaluate the multiaxial high cycle fatigue damage of an automotive sub-frame. Elastic Multi Body Simulation (MBS) has been applied in order to determine the multiaxial load histories. The stresses due to these loads have been given by FE computation. These results have been used as the input for the multiaxial fatigue analysis. For the assessment of multiaxial high cycle fatigue damage, the signed von Mises, the signed Tresca, the absolute maximum principal stress and critical plane methods have been employed. In addition, the biaxiality ratio, a$\sub$e/, the absolute maximum principal stress, $\sigma$$\sub$p/ and the angle, $\phi$$\sub$P/, between $\sigma$$\sub$1/ and the local x-axis, have been calculated to evaluate the stress state at each node.

경산 임당유적 목제품 보존 - 갑옷틀 및 칠기 - (Conservation for Wooden Objects Excavated From Imdang, KyungSan - Wooden frame of Armor and Lacquer Wares -)

  • 경산 임당저습지유적에서 출토된 목제 갑옷틀과 다양한 칠기유물들은 재질이 매우 취약하고 옻칠이 되어 있어 공기 중에 노출되면 건조가 진행되어 곧바로 수축·변형이 일어나기 쉽다. 목제 갑옷틀의 경우 대형으로 동결건조과정 중 융해의 발생우려가 있고 칠기의 경우 목재표면에 옻칠이 되어있어 약제가 잘 침투되지 않고 처리 중 칠막이 부풀거나 탈락될 우려가 높다. 따라서 목제 갑옷틀은 진공 동결건조과정 중 융해방지를 위하여 t-butanol로 치환한 후 최종 PEG#3,350 43%의 t-butanol용액에 함침하고, 칠기는 최종 PEG#3,350 40%의 수용액(水溶液)에 실온에서 함침처리 후 동결 건조하여 보존처리 하였다. 칠기의 칠 도막 분석결과 뚜껑 및 고배는 초칠을 한 후 밑층에 흑색안료(그을음)와 옻칠을 혼합하여 바른 후 2-3회 생칠을 하였고 주칠 컵형목기는 밑층에 흑색안료와 옻칠을 혼합하여 바른 후 그 위에 1회 중칠을 하였으며, 산화철(Fe2O3: 석간주)이 붉은 칠의 발색안료로 쓰였을 가능성을 보여준다.

알루미늄 튜브를 이용한 자동차 리어 서브 프레임의 열간가스 성형해석 (Hot Air Forming Analysis of Automotive Rear Sub Frame using Aluminum Tube)

  • Recently, the hydroforming of high strength aluminum tubes has many studies and applications in manufacturing industry, especially in automotive industry. But high strength aluminum tube has limited expansion capability at most 15% at normal temperature. New manufacturing process, called hot air forming, is introduced to apply aluminum tube to the automotive sub frame components which have complex shape and require high expansion ratio about 40%. The process is carried out at the elevated temperature above $500^{\circ}C$, so numerous material properties and process parameters related to high temperature should be investigated and determined to get a sound product. In this paper, the hot air forming process of automotive sub frame was investigated. The effect of the forming parameters such as the temperature of tool, axial feeding and gas pressure are analyzes by using explicit finite element method.

우물정(井)자형 Sub-frame의 블랭크 설계 (Optimum Blank Design of Automobile Sub-Frame)

  • A new blank design method is proposed to predict the optimum initial blank shape in the sheet metal forming process. The rollback method for blank shape design takes the difference between final deformed shaped and target contour shape into account. Based on the method a computer program composed of blank design module FE-analysis program and mesh generation module is developed. The rollback method is applied to square cup drawing process with the flange of unifiorm size around its periphery to confirm its validity. The optimum initial blank shape is obtained from an arbitrary square blank after three modification. Good agreements are recognized between the numerical results and the published results for initial blank shape and thickness strain distribution. The optimum blank shape for two parts of automobile sub-frame is designed, The thickness distribution and the level of punch load is improved. Also the method is applied to design the weld line in the tailor-welded blank. It is concluded that the rollback method is an effective and convenient method for an optimum blank shape design.

  • It is known that bogie frame must have sufficient stiffness for car body and passenger weight and transfer traction and braking force, and as of today most studies and verifications are restricted to static and fatigue analysis for force acted on bogie frame. Bogie frame is mounted with equipments to control the signal, traction and so on, this equipment's behavior is subjected to vibration mode occurs on running condition. If the resonance occurs on this equipment, the possibility of crack occurrence on bracket connected with equipment and bogie frame will be increased. In this paper, the method of vibration strength verification for bracket attached on bogie frame will be introduced by using frequency response method.

Robust Digital Watermarking for High-definition Video using Steerable Pyramid Transform, Two Dimensional Fast Fourier Transform and Ensemble Position-based Error Correcting

  • In this paper, we propose a robust blind watermarking scheme for high-definition video. In the embedding process, luminance component of each frame is transformed by 2-dimensional fast Fourier transform (2D FFT). A secret key is used to generate a matrix of random numbers for the security of watermark information. The matrix is transformed by inverse steerable pyramid transform (SPT). We embed the watermark into the low and mid-frequency of 2D FFT coefficients with the transformed matrix. In the extraction process, the 2D FFT coefficients of each frame and the transformed matrix are transformed by SPT respectively, to produce two oriented sub-bands. We extract the watermark from each frame by cross-correlating two oriented sub-bands. If a video is degraded by some attacks, the watermarks of frames contain some errors. Thus, we use an ensemble position-based error correcting algorithm to estimate the errors and correct them. The experimental results show that the proposed watermarking algorithm is imperceptible and moreover is robust against various attacks. After embedding 64 bits of watermark into each frame, the average peak signal-to-noise ratio between original frames and embedded frames is 45.7 dB.
