  • Heterostyly continues to fascinate evolutionary biologists interested in heredity, evolution, breeding, and adaptive function. Polymorphism demonstrates how simply inherited developmental changes in the location of plant sexual associations can have important consequences for population pollination and mating biology. In contrast to homozygous self incompatibility, only a small number of mating phenotypes can be maintained in the population because insect pollinators have limitations in achieving multiple segregation sites for pollen deposition. Field studies of pollen tube growth have shown that reciprocal style-stamen polymorphisms function to increase the capacity of insect-mediated cross-pollination. The genetic pattern of style morphs is well established in various taxa, but despite recent advances, the identity, number, and structure of the genes controlling the heteromorphic syndrome have been poorly elucidated. The phenomenon of heterostyly in buckwheat has been controlled by gene complex concentrate to S-locus. Homomorphic autogamous buckwheat strains were established by the interspecific hybridization. Backcrossing of this line to the common buckwheat (pin) and selecting homostylar progenies made it possible to introduce the self-compatible gene into common buckwheat. In the result, we obtained the BC9F2 generation, and defined the strong linkage between flower type and self-incompatibility by microscopic observation of pollen tube growth. This finding suggests that self-incompatibility character is not controlled by one gene. Moreover, we defined the strong linkage between flower type and self-incompatibility. It strongly supports the S supergene theory. Therefore, we have plan to elucidate the heterostyly self-incompatibility by using molecular genetics, proteome analysis and apply to exploitation of buckwheat improvement. In near future, the expression of heterozygous syndromes in genus Fagopyrum with single isolated heterozygous species may provide clues to early stages of polymorphic assembly and shed light on evolutionary models of heterozygous strains.

  • In this paper, we define the generalized k-balancing numbers {B(k)n} and k-Lucas balancing numbers {C(k)n} and associated polynomials, where n is of the form sk+r, 0 ≤ r < k. We give several formulas for these new sequences in terms of classic balancing and Lucas balancing numbers and study their properties. Moreover, we give a Binet style formula, Cassini's identity, and binomial sums of these sequences.

  • It is an important means of expressing oneself and is affected by the social and cultural environment, too. People are creating another new lower culture, it's Sub Culture, that is, their own unique new fashion through the coordination status of a lower culture and its components to reveal the visual symbol of such garments and body decorations most clearly. The Punk formed as an reaction to 1960's hippie appeared as the most unpleasant image to the established generations with their ultimate resisting action and new aesthetic-consciousness. Their coordination by the use of the disorder and stimulative tool which gives abhorrence appears again as Cyber Punk being influenced by optical art and multimedia in '90s. It can be seen that the form of lower culture mentioned above became a storehouse of new fashion creation through the most nuclear role of lower culture and the unique characteristic coordination by age and that each lower culture fashion can become a style icon of new fashion through free coordination.

  • This study was carried out to verify how much instructor's communication skill affects the student pilot's study motivation and satisfaction. The instructor's communication styles are classified into 3 groups by pre-analysis. Three types are cooperative type, control type and professional type. Intellectual cause, performance proficiency cause, social cause and stimulation avoidance cause are extracted and analyzed for the cause of study motivation. Cooperative and control type affected all of 4 factors of student's study motivation by influence analysis. Intellectual cause affected control and cooperative type positively, especially more to cooperative type. Performance proficiency cause also had positive influence to control and cooperative type. Stimulation avoidance cause didn't appear to affect all sub-classified 4 factors of instructor's communication type. Influence analysis of student's study satisfaction from instructor's communication style showed that independent variable affected all sub factors positively. Degree of positive influence affected the control type the most, cooperative type was the 2nd, and professional type was the 3rd.

  • The purpose of this study was to review such results of the scientific and technological development as women's changed status, sexual identity and their views of physique in the cyber space based on cyber feminists' theories, and thereby, examine the concept of space during the medieval age, and then, the fundamental spiritual concept involving the fetishism of women's body as sexual objects in the materialistic space of the digital age in terms of the consciousness of trend or supra-sensual perceptions, and thereby, review the effect of the cyber terrorism and violence on the fashion in sub-cultural terms. Some researchers distinguish psychedelic styles from cyberdelic ones to assume such psychiatric visions as psychedelic fashion characterized by resistance and delinquency-cyber punk fashion, cyber hippie fashion, cyborg fashion- and then, define them all as cyber resistant culture fashion or as a sub-cultural style of the cyber culture. As a result, it was found that human bodies are being encoded with the networks, various cyber characters or avatars are emerging, while human bodies are being distorted or exaggerated with human beings and machines being imploded.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the transformational or transactional leadership styles of Korean dietitians. The study was completed with Korean dietitians (n = 268, $67\%$ response) using mail survey. The leadership styles were divided into transformational (including charisma, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration) and transactional (contingent reward, management by exception) leadership found in the several literature. Overall, the score of Korean dietitians' transactional leadership was higher than that of the transformational leadership (p < .05). Among three sub-dimensions of the transformational leadership styles, the score of 'individualized consideration' was higher than 'charisma' and 'intellectual stimulation'. Between two sub-dimensions of the transactional leadership styles, Korean dietitians used more 'management-by-exception' than 'contingent reward'. ANOVA results suggested that the transformational leadership was more likely to be used by the younger dietitians, while the transactional leadership was more likely to be used by the older dietitians (p < .05). Data showed that dietitians having 3-6 year dietetic experience used more transformational leadership than other experienced dietitians (p < .05). It was also found that the Korean dietitians' leadership styles were influenced by the type of dietetic practice area. Data showed that 'charisma', 'intellectual stimulation', 'individualized consideration' and 'contingent reward' were more likely to be used by Korean dietitians from school than by dietitians from health. care and industry (p < .05). This study will be useful for dietitians to guide the application of appropriate leadership style in order to increase employees' job satisfaction as well as organizational performance. • In the middle of the 8th century, we met the new high-rise building, the 7th storied wooden pagodas in 'Kokubunji' in Japan. I tried to analyze and study this building to show how the wooden pagoda had changed itself because of appearance of new style. The conculusions are as follows; 1. The construction of the foundation was mainly composed namely 'Panchuk'. It was proceeded by two ways. One is the earthen-digging, laying foundations named 'Gulkwangpachuk' and the other is simply laying foundation named 'Jisangpanchuk'. In that period, due to the progress of the technique, we assumed that the main stream is 'Jisangpanchuk'. 2. The elevation of base was mostly the single foundation from archaeological study. The material was stone. The middle case of pagoda had the base of tile-roofed. We knew the just one pagoda had the base of brick, but that was not main stream. 3. The new device had appeared in the central base stone. It was the stone point. But in that period the existing method, a hole style and the new style was used in the central base stone. This fact is showed that the central government was not hold the reigon(it names 'Kook') in the respect of the technique. 4. The plan scale is classified of 3 group. As a result, the first body is larger, the main-unit and the sub-unit is a equal unit. But smaller, the length of main-unit is longer than the one of sub-unit. And the very small pagoda was build in that period.
