  • The purpose of this paper id to study the factors influencing MIS user satisfaction. For this purpose. I have reviewed the results of past studies on the performance factor of MIS, and introduced a new model associated with small & Medium Business. On the basis of this model, I have hypothesized that the following variables influence user satisfaction : (gender, age), individual characteristics(user attitude, training for user), managerial characteristic(top management involvement, organizational support) and task characteristics(task structure). There were 195 participants surveyed using questionnaires from 25 different small & medium Business in Pusan. The research model and associated hypotheses were tested by following statistical techniques: reliability test, regression, t-test and ANOVA. The findings of this study are follows; 1. It was found that gender and age are not correlated user satisfaction. 2. Among individual characteristics, only user attitude influence user satisfaction significantly. 3. While organizational supports influence positively user satisfaction, top management involvement do not influence it. 4. Task structure is highly correlated with user satisfaction. In spite of many factors affecting MIS success, this study did not consider all variables affect on user satisfaction. We need integrated model including more various factors.

  • This study has been conducted on touch screen interface design for mobile devices. It was intended to measure user’s satisfaction on one-handed thumb input mobile devices. Recent studies proposed the optimal touch button size, but it is inappropriate for mobile devices. Therefore, this study was focused on four touch key factors-width, height, the horizontal and vertical distance between touch keys-as independent variables. The ANOVA results showed that the user satisfaction of four touch key factors was significantly affected by the thumb input. It also apparent that the interactions between four factors were significant. As a result, the horizontal and vertical distance as well as the width and height affected the satisfaction of users. In addition, this study suggested satisfaction models which represent the top 30%, 50%, 70% of user satisfaction measurement. The results of this study could be used to design touch keys that are able to enhance the usability on touch screen based mobile devices.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify visiting nurses' occupational satisfaction and their stress who are working at district health centers in Chungnam province. Methods: The subjects of the study were 109 visiting nurses of 16 district health centers in Chungnam province. The data were collected by self report questionnaires from March 1 to 31, 2010. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, t-test, ANOVA (Sheffe's test), and correlation coefficient using the SPSS program. Results: The results of this study were as follows. The occupational stress level of the subjects was 46.7 and the level of subjects' occupational satisfaction was 2.46. There was a significant negative correlation between occupational satisfaction and occupational stress (r=-.627). Conclusion: The occupational stress level of the subjects, and stress levels of 'work environment', 'job insecurity' and 'organizational structure' were higher than those of the Korean women workers' standard. The level of subjects' occupational satisfaction was lower than that of the nurse practitioners. There was a significant correlation among occupational stress and 'burden of workload' and 'visiting nurse career'. The study showed that occupational stress was correlated with occupational satisfaction. The results suggest that further follow-up study on visiting nurse is necessary to relieve their occupational stress and increase occupational satisfaction.

  • This study aims to analyze and confirm brand awareness' role in influencing the repurchase intention both directly and indirectly on customer satisfaction variables and repurchase intention variables. The contribution brought by this study is to reflect manifest variables such as recall, purchase, and consumption. The number of respondents in this study was 200 samples using the online survey data collection method (Google form), while the research approach is quantitative explanatory. The data analysis test tools include the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with AMOS as a statistical data analysis software and Sobel test to indirectly test the relationship. This study consists of four hypotheses, of which three hypotheses are positively and significantly related (brand awareness on repurchase intention, brand awareness on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention). Through indirect relationship, namely, brand awareness on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction, the study showed no significant effect. In a comprehensive way, this study emphasizes the factor of customer satisfaction as a determinant of consumer loyalty and repurchase intention. Therefore, creating optimal customer satisfaction, service excellence, promotion and massive advertising, guaranteeing the safety and ease-of-use apps, and ease of shopping, especially for e-commerce industry, is a serious concern.

  • This descriptive-correlational study was undertaken in order to examine if there were relationships between family support, compliance and life satisfaction in chronic arthritis patients. The sampling method was a non-probability, purposive sampling technique. The participants of this study were 92 volunteer adults. 1) who have been diagnosed as having chronic arthritis and 2) who were at the medical out patient clinic of one university hospital in Seoul between April 27th to May 12th 1987. The instruments used for this study were the Family Support Scale developed by Kang Hyun Sook, a Compilance Scale developed by the researcher and the Life-Satisfaction Index-Z developed by Wood et.al. Analysis of data was done using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of study were as follows; Hypothesis I; “The higher the family support, the higher the compliance” was accepted. (r=.2604, p<.01) Hypothesis II; “The higher the compliance, the higher the life satisfaction,” was rejected. (r=.1663, p>0.5) Hypothesis III; “The higher the family support, the higher the life satisfaction” was accepted. (r=.3914, p<.01) In addition, by using Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis it was determined that the main influencing factors on the life satisfaction were family support, the number of inflammatory joints, compliance and pain level. These 4 main variables made it possible to explain 30.8% of the variance in life satisfaction. In conclusion, this study revealed that family support is an important factor that can improve compliance and life satisfaction in chronic arthritis patients.

In particular, this study investigated how virtual mirror technology affects customer satisfaction and intention to use that are rarely examined in previous studies. Research questions include how proposed variables including sensory stimulation, enjoyment, product quality, telepresence, interactivity, and immersion affect satisfaction and intention to use and how satisfaction affects intention to use. Research design, data and methodology: This study conducted an online survey and applied factor and regression analyses to test hypotheses. Results: The results of this study found that effects of sensory stimulation, telepresence, and immersion on satisfaction were significant, while effects of enjoyment, product quality, and immersion on intention to use were significant. Therefore, variables affecting satisfaction and intention to use were different, while effects of immersion were significant both on satisfaction and intention to use. Conclusions: This study concluded that the role of virtual mirror technology helps customers determine product quality and increase satisfaction level, while it also helps customers enjoy shopping and increase intent to use the service. The results of this study provide how to foster better relationship with customers by applying advanced technologies.
