This research focuses on women in their 20s and 30s who have experience in consuming beauty products in the live broadcast of beauty products in China to find out the effects of consumers' consumption propensity on beauty product selection attributes. The data analysis is performed from April 29 to May 25, 2021 by using SPSSWIN 21.0 program for frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability appraisal, technical statistical analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. And the results of the study are as follows: According to the survey, the general characteristics are 20~25 years old, university, and the consumer price is between 500,000 and 1 million won. In terms of consumption propensity that the intrinsic pursuit of consumption, the impulsive consumption, the external pursuit of consumption were on a high average score which was 3.76, 3.63, 3.56 respectively, and in terms of the selection attributes of beauty products that the product intrinsic attributes, and the external attributes of products were on a high average score which was 3.91, 3.69 respectively. The external/internal attributes of beauty product selection attributes are all related to consumption propensity. According to the survey, the external pursuit of consumption, internal pursuit of consumption, and impulsive consumption of the propensity to consume all have a meaningful influence on the external/internal attributes of products. This result proves that the consumption tendency of beauty live broadcast consumers has a huge impact on the selection attributes of beauty products. In this regard, according to the consumption tendencies of Chinese women, the necessity of differentiated live-streaming marketing strategies for beauty products based on the characteristics of beauty product brands, categories, and designs has been proposed.

The purpose of this study is to present types of design concept based on the specificity of landscape design, and to derive a theoretical framework for the landscape design concepts by analyzing the design concepts appearing in urban park design competitions. Through literature review, five types of landscape design concepts were categorized into value and vision, analysis and interpretation, form and structure, program and element, and process and operation. Using this framework, the design concepts shown in 96 works submitted to 18 domestic and overseas urban park design competitions were analyzed. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, due to the complexity of contemporary urban parks, design concepts are presented as mixtures of main concepts and secondary concepts in multiple layers. Second, it was identified that design concepts of 'form and structure' were used the most in urban park designs, followed by the 'program and element' concepts. The 'value and vision' and 'analysis and interpretive' concepts are introduced as third and fourth. Third, the reason that the 'form and structure' concept is widely used as main and secondary concepts is judged to be because the form of a space, which is the key result of the design, has an important influence on the identity of the design. Fourth, the reason that the 'program and element' concept type is widely introduced is that urban park design has a stronger planning aspect to produce programs during the design process, compared with other design fields where programs are usually given in advance. Lastly, it is difficult to see that the properties of the site solely affect the type of design concept, because a design concept is the result of a complex and creative process in which a designer subjectively interprets the objective characteristics of the site and project, and given design guidelines can affect the type of design concept.

Chronic diseases have been increasing recently as the average life expectancy of humans has been extended, and this trend has caused problems such as the widespread demand for health and rehabilitation services and rising medical costs. In order to solve this problem, the community-based rehabilitation has been developed and strengthened in Korea and gradually promoted since 2019. It is important to secure access to clients who want to use services to revitalize community-based rehabilitation. So in this study, as part of the community-based rehabilitation, intends to devise smartphone applications designs and develop a prototype to secure access to community-based occupational therapy services based on occupation and activities. For Occupational Therapy Practice Framework (OTPF), International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), and Allen Diagnostic Module-2 (ADM-2) were used to devise and categorize occupation and activity based application content, and link OTPF, ICF, and ADM-2 through prior research analysis and expert meetings. The derived content was visualized through literature review and activity analysis, and was implemented to enable direct playback within the application using the YouTube API, and finally developed a prototype application. The Android Studio 3.5.2 for Windows 64-bit was used to build the application prototype. In further research, converging various digital technologies for user convenience and additionally researching community-based occupational therapy service providers opinions and service user satisfaction will improve accessibility to community-based occupational therapy services for clients who have difficulty occupational performance in the community.

This paper discusses about the development of a visual sensor that can be installed in an automatic mooring device to detect the berthing condition of a vessel. Despite controlling the ship's speed and confirming its location to prevent accidents while berthing a vessel, ship collision occurs at the pier every year, causing great economic and environmental damage. Therefore, it is important to develop a visual system that can quickly obtain the information on the speed and location of the vessel to ensure safety of the berthing vessel. In this study, a visual sensor was developed to observe a ship through an image while berthing, and to properly check the ship's status according to the surrounding environment. To obtain the adequacy of the visual sensor to be developed, the sensor characteristics were analyzed in terms of information provided from the existing sensors, that is, detection range, real-timeness, accuracy, and precision. Based on these analysis data, we developed a 3D visual module that can acquire information on objects in real time by conducting conceptual designs of LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) type 3D visual system, driving mechanism, and position and force controller for motion tilting system. Finally, performance evaluation of the control system and scan speed test were executed, and the effectiveness of the developed system was confirmed through experiments.
The purpose of this study is to explore learning progressions for global warming at middle school level. For this purpose, we conducted a construct modeling approach that specifies constructs, item designs, outcome spaces, and measurement model steps from April to October, 2021. In order to develop student assessment items, we analyzed the 2015 revised curriculum and textbooks of middle school and categorized a concept hierarchy for each construct to create a construct map. The assessment items were developed into multiple-choice, short answer, and essay questions according to the selected constructs to strengthen the linkage between the constructs and the items. Based on the three-step grading criteria for each item, an online assessment of 21 minor items developed for middle school students show that many students met 'high' level, but none met 'low' level. In this manner, the initial set lower anchor was reset to level 0, the original set upper anchor was lowered from level 4 to level 3, and the hypothetical learning progression for global warming was presented in the following order: phenomenal, conceptual, and mechanical understandings. The results of the research have raised implications for reorganizing the next science curriculum and improving the assessment system.

Teddy bear is a typical rag doll which has been loved by people all over the world for more than 100 years based on its cute and friendly image. In addition, as it has been together for a long time with us, it is considered as a friend of people with memories of all ages and sexes, not just animal doll. Teddy bear has been developing its appearance and character continually playing a role as the symbol of society and issues of an era beyond toys, however it still remains in the image of stuffed toys. Therefore, more advanced teddy bear characters should be created in line with the current environment and market conditions that are undergoing major changes based on the Internet and smart phones. Thus, the concept of the character and the recent development of the market were reflected and the meaning and current image of teddy bears were analyzed to develop new teddy bear stories, worldviews, and characters through design process. And it was created 3D characters, videos, and SNS channels through the developed 3D character design and motion design. Furthermore, we want to take a look at the direction in which Korea's character business can develop in accordance with global changes and suggest the possibility of entering as a character powerhouse.
This study sought to identify the voice user interface (VUI) design parameters that evoked positive user emotions. Six VUI design parameters that could affect emotional user satisfaction were considered. The moderating effects of user gender and the design parameters were analyzed to determine the appropriate conditions for user satisfaction when interacting with the VUI. An interactive VUI system that could modify the six parameters was implemented using the Wizard of OZ experimental method. User emotions were assessed from the users' facial expression data, which was then converted into a valence score. The frequency analysis and chi-square test found that there were statistically significant moderating gender and AI effects. These results implied that it is beneficial to consider the users' gender when designing voice-based interactions. Adult/male/high-tone voices for males and adult/female/mid-tone voices for females are recommended as general guidelines for future VUI designs. Future analyses that consider various human factors will be able to more delicately assess human-AI interactions from a UX perspective.

The power generation method using expensive diesel has operation problems such as high cost diesel generator and a lack of reserved power due to increase of power demand in some islands, requiring expansion of power generation facilities. To solve this problems, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of power generation facilities through an ORC(Organic Rankin Cycle) system application that uses waste heat as a heat source. Therefore, localized application technology of price competitive and highly reliable ORC power generation system is needed, and optimization technology of generators is having great effect, so this study performed two generator designs to get a high-efficiency generator with an optimized 30kW output. The comparison of simulation data for two designed models showed that a generator with SPM factor of 46.2% had an efficiency of 92.1% and a power ouput of about 23.2kW based on 12,000rpm, a generator with SPM factor of 44.46%, had a power output of 27.9kW and efficiency of 93.6% based on above rpm. For the verification of improved design model with SPM factor of 44.46%, the prototype test system with 110kW motor dynamometer was installed and got to the efficiency of 92.08% with conditions of the rated capacity 25kW at 12,000rpm, the test results of prototype generator showed the validity of generator design.
This study was performed to development the alternative farrowing pen (AFP) and to investigate performance and behavior of lactating sows and their litter. A total of 64 multiparous sows were randomly divided into two groups and were allocated to farrowing crates (FCs) and AFPs. The AFPs contained a crate and support bars that could be folded to provide the sows with extra space on day 5 postpartum. Behavior was recorded by charge-coupled device cameras and digital video recorders, and the data were scanned every 2 min to obtain an instantaneous behavioral sample. Farrowing systems did not affect feed intake, back-fat thickness, litter size and piglet weight at birth and weaning (p > 0.05). In addition, there were no differences in the number of crushed piglets between the two farrowing systems (p > 0.05). However, the weaning-to-estrus interval was shorter in the sows of the AFPs than in thous of the FCs (p < 0.05). The sows spent most of their time lying down during the lactating period, at about 80% lateral recumbency and 10%-15% ventral recumbency. The only significant differences were in the feeding and drinking behavior between sows in the two farrowing systems (p < 0.05). The FC sows displayed more feeding and drinking behavior than the AFP sows, especially in the late lactating period (p < 0.05). Piglets in the FCs tended to spend more time walking than piglets in the AFPs (p < 0.05), whereas there were no differences in suckling and lying behavior between piglets in the two farrowing systems (p > 0.05). It is concluded that the AFPs with temporary crating until day 4 postpartum did not negatively affect performance and crushed piglet compared with the FCs. It also may improve animal welfare by allowing sows to move and turn around during the lactating period. Further research is needed to find suitable housing designs to enhance productivity and animal welfare.

The use of constructed wetlands (CWs) to sequester carbon has been a topic of interest in recent studies. However, CWs have been found to be both carbon sinks and carbon sources, thus leaving uncertainties about their role in carbon neutrality initiatives. To address the uncertainties, a bibliometric and comprehensive review on carbon sequestration in CWs was conducted. Upon forming various scripts using CorText Manager, it was found that a majority of the studies focused on the effectiveness of CWs to remove nutrients, particularly nitrogen. The results of the comprehensive review revealed that high carbon concentrations and carbon sequestration rates in CW soils are dependent on the vegetation types used, the ages of the CWs, and the organic content of inflow water entering the CWs. The Typha genus was the most dominant plant genus used in the CWs from the reviewed studies and was associated with the highest carbon sequestration rates documented in this review study. Furthermore, the relatively high ability of tree species, in comparison to emergent plants, to sequester carbon was observed. Therefore, incorporating tree species into CW designs and adding them to emergent plants is seen as a potential breakthrough approach to improve the ability of CWs to sequester carbon and ultimately contribute to mitigating climate change.
