Purpose: This research proposes a new modified Recency-Frequency-Monetary (RFM) model by extending the model with spatial analysis for supporting decision-makers in discovering the promotional target market. Research design, data and methodology: This quantitative research utilizes data-mining techniques and the RFM model to cluster a university's provider schools. The RFM model was modified by adapting its variables to the university's marketing context and adding a district's potential (D) variable based on heatmap analysis using Geographic Information System (GIS) and K-means clustering. The K-prototype algorithm and the Elbow method were applied to find provider school clusters using the proposed RFM-D model. After profiling the clusters, the target segment was assigned. The model was validated using empirical data from an Indonesian university, and its performance was compared to the Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)-based RFM utilizing accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. Results: This research identified five clusters. The target segment was chosen from the highest-value and high-value clusters that comprised 17.80% of provider schools but can contribute 75.77% of students. Conclusions: The proposed model recommended more targeted schools in higher-potential districts and predicted the target segment with 0.99 accuracies, outperforming the CLV-based model. The empirical findings help university management determine the promotion location and allocate resources for promotional information distribution and student recruitment.

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라의 학교폭력예방을 위한 학생보호인력의 전문화방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이 연구는 학생보호인력의 문제점으로 학생보호인력의 법률적 한계, 전문성의 부족, 채용기준의 적합성 부족, 교육훈련의 미비, 관련기관과의 협력문제, 윤리적 문제가 도출되었다. 이와 같은 문제점을 개선하기 위한 전문화방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교보호인력관련 법률의 개정 및 제도의 강화이다. 둘째, 학생보호인력의 적합한 채용기준의 마련이다. 셋째, 학생보호인력 전문교육훈련기관의 설립이다. 넷째, 학생보호관련 기관과의 긴밀한 협력체제이다. 다섯째, 학생보호인력의 윤리강령의 제정이다.

세계경제 단일화의 가속화에 따라, 고등교육의 국제화는 점차 세계적인 추세로 자리 잡게 되었으며, 서방 선진국들은 세계 각국 유학생들의 유학 선호 국가가 되어버렸다. 그러나 한국에서는 교육자원, 환경, 정책 등 여러 문제로 각 지방 대학이 유학생 유치에 불리한 위치에 처한 것이 사실이다. 최근에는 중국과 한국 양국의 문화 교류 증대와 양국 간의 지리적 접근성에 힘입어 많은 한국 학생의 중국 유학과 동시에, 중국 유학생 또한 한국 각 지방대학의 주요 입학자원이 되었다, 최근 몇 년 동안, 한국의 중국 유학생 수는 신속히 증가하고 있고, 이에 따라 한국의 유학생 교육제도 또한 끊임없이 개선되고 있지만, 유럽, 미국 등 선진 국가나 한국 수도권 대학의 교육 환경적 우세 조건에 비하면 한국 지방대학의 중국 유학생 유치는 여전히 많은 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 논문의 연구 결과를 제시해 본다면, 우선 한국 지방 대학의 중국 유학생 유치는 유리한 점이 있는 반면 또 시급히 해결되어야 할 문제점이 있다는 점이다. 따라서 어떻게 중국 유학생이 선호하는 특색 있는 교육 환경을 만들고, 중국 유학생의 학습과 발전에 적합한 "One-Stop (신속, 빠른, 편리한) 교육서비스" 체계를 구축하는가, 또 어떻게 유학생 교육의 관리 체계와 모델을 완성하여 중국 유학생과 지방대학이 다함께 Win-Win할 수 있는가? 이런 점들이야 말로 한국의 각 지방대학 중국 유학생 관리자들이 끊임없이 연구해야 할 과제라 할 수 있겠다.

One of the impacts of Covid-19 on education systems has been the shift to online education. This shift has changed the way education is consumed and perceived by students. However, the exact nature of student perception about online education is not known. The aim of this study was to understand the perceptions of Saudi higher education students (e.g., post-school students) about online education during the Covid-19 pandemic. Various aspects of online education including benefits, features and cybersecurity were explored. The data collected were analysed using statistical techniques, especially artificial neural networks, to address the research aims. The key findings were that benefits of online education was perceived by students with positive experience or when ensured of safe use of online platforms without the fear cyber security breaches for which recruitment of a cyber security officer was an important predictor. The issue of whether perception of online education as a necessity only for Covid situation or a lasting option beyond the pandemic is a topic for future research.

This paper examines the characteristics of shared universities in Korea and seeks future development directions from the analysis of its operation. This study overviews the current status of students and the characteristics of each major in the DSC Shared University. This provides the future improvement direction and analyzes the survey of attending students. The results shows the most DSC students are engineering students, and they are taking classes centering on the major courses opened by their school. Future direction of shared universities include the recruitment of students from various backgrounds, expansions of enrollment in other schools' curriculum.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of registration of interventional studies focusing on children and adolescents in South Korea and the status of Korean medicine interventional studies through Clinical Research Information Service (CRIS). Methods CRIS was used to search interventional clinical researches which were registered from May, 2010 to October, 2018. Key words of 'child', 'children', 'adolescents', 'infant', 'toddler', 'elementary school student', 'middle and high school', 'middle school student', and 'high school student' were used. Results A total of 37 intervention clinical studies were selected. To identify the trends, years of registration in the CRIS, intervention types, disease categories, recruitment status, phase, institutions responsible for the research, consent, compensation and safety investigation were analyzed. Conclusions This study shows the current state of registration of interventional studies in children and adolescents in Korea. Since interventional studies in children and adolescents are essential for providing safe and effective treatment, further interventional studies, Korean medicine interventional studies and ethical considerations are needed.

In this study, for students who gave up their studies midway through college, we investigate the reasons for dropping out of college, analyze the factors that caused students to drop out, and suggest improvement measures to effectively increase the recruitment rate of enrolled students. This study explores measures to increase student enrollment in community colleges. For this purpose, it conducted a survey of students who dropped out of G College between 2018 and 2020 from June 28 to July 9, 2021. Its analysis is based on the results of 53 students who participated in the survey. First, our results suggest that programs to develop interpersonal relationships between students, faculty, and staff are necessary. Such programs will cultivate a culture of solidarity and collective identity among students, which in turn will reinforce positive experiences in college. Moreover, by developing systems to form relationships between faculty and students, colleges can have a feedback mechanism, such as an open-study program, through which they learn what the students want and need. Through this effort, colleges can help their students adjust to campuses and enhance student satisfaction in college. Second, it is necessary to develop various extracurricular programs not only for freshmen but existing students and to run hobby and leisure activity programs. To have continuous, standing extracurricular programs instead of one-time events, colleges should set up specific goals, delivery methods and strategies. Third, colleges should renovate old and outdated buildings and facilities on campus to enhance the quality of campus life. Moreover, more comprehensive improvement of facilities and a campus environment by having various convenient and leisure facilities that meet the needs and demands of students. Fourth, it is suggested to develop programs or systems that help students to more fully engage in campus lives and activities, which in turn increases confidence and self-efficacy among students. Through such programs, students can better adjust to their majors and, therefore, will be less likely to drop out of college.

본 논문에서는 국내대학의 정보보호 전공 교육과정을 분석하였고, 교육내용을 중심으로 대학별 교육 차별화 방향을 살펴보았다. 또한 국내 정보보호 산업체를 중심으로 정보보호 분야별 인력채용 수요현황과 대학별 양성인력을 비교 분석하여 정보보호 인력의 충족정도를 분석하였다. 아울러 정보보호 전공 교육과정 측면에서 향후 융합 분야의 정보보호 인력 요구와 방향성을 검토하였다.

Also the students of merchant marine universities are choosing prudently the shipping companies when taking a job. But many qualitative and quantitative factors are considered in decision making for the employment. FSM(Fuzzy Structural Modeling) has been widely used in modeling the system composed of such qualitative and quantitative factor. In this paper, a case study is discussed for the analysis of the consciousness of the employment of shipping companies using FSM. Also this paper proposed the planes for educating and recruitment guiding the student in maritime university.
