This study was conducted to investigate the breakfast patterns and preference with 380 elementary school student in Inchon city using questionnaires. As a result, the subjects were mostly eaten steamed rice with other side dishes and also expected Korean-style steamed rice as a breakfast. The main reason of skipping meal was lack of time. Gruel, bread, cereal, noodle were hardly selected as a breakfast. BMI(body mass index) and Broca index were normal range. Therefore, these results need to provide nutritional education for the elementary school students and reflect the patterns of breakfast through importance and diversity.
The objectives of this study were to assess food intake frequency and food behavior of infants and toddlers by using the Nutrition Quotient (NQ). A total of 368 subjects (infants 111, toddlers 257) in Ganghwa county were analyzed in this study. The NQ was examined using an NQ questionnaire, which consisted of 19 food behavior checklist items. The items were grouped into five categories: balance, diversity, moderation, regularity, and practice. All data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 20, and significant difference was evaluated by Student's t-test and $x^2-test$. The BMIs of infants and toddlers were $16.54kg/m^2$ and $16.01kg/m^2$, respectively. The frequencies of consumption of vegetables and fruits were higher (p<0.001) in girls and toddlers compared to boys and infants, respectively. Food behavior of meal regularity (p<0.001), breakfast eating (p<0.001), and chewing well (p<0.001) were also higher in toddlers compared to infants. Total NQ score of infants and toddlers were 62.05 and 64.91, respectively, which were within medium grade. The NQ score of toddlers was higher than that of infants (p<0.0.5). NQ score was positively correlated with parent's education, monthly income, age, and exercise. Therefore, children and their parents need proper nutrition education and counseling to correct their eating habits and improve their nutritional status.
Strawberries are a popular economic crop, and one of the major plantations and exporting countries is Korea in the world. The Fusarium oxysporum species complex (FOSC) is a soil-borne pathogen with genetic diversity, resulting in wilt disease in various crops. In Korea, strawberries wilt disease was first reported in the 1980s due to the infection of FOSC, causing significant economic damage every year. The causal agent, F. oxysporum f. sp. fragariae, is a soil-borne pathogen with a characteristic of FOSC that is difficult to control chemically and mutates easily. This study obtained genetic polymorphism information that was based on AFLP, of F. oxysporum f. sp. fragariae 91 strains, which were isolated from strawberry cultivation sites in Gyeongsangnam-do and Chungcheongnam-do, and compared strains information, which was the isolated location, host variety, response to chemical fungicide, and antagonistic bacteria, and mycelium phenotype. As a result, AFLP phylogeny found that two groups were mainly present, and group B was present at a high frequency in Gyeongsangnam-do. Group B proved less sensitive to tebuconazole than group A through Student's t-test. In addition, the fractions pattern of AFLP was calculated by comparing the strain information using PCA and PERMANOVA, and the main criteria were separated localization and strawberry varieties (PERMANOVA; p< 0.05). And tebuconazole was different with weak confidence (PERMANOVA; p< 0.10). This study suggests that the F. oxysporum f. sp. fragariae should be continuously monitored and managed, including group B, which is less chemically effective.

Purpose: This study aimed to understand the current status of global health curricula and characteristics in nursing schools, focusing on the changes since 2015. Methods: Data were collected from the websites of 202 nursing schools nationwide in Korea. Global health curricula were analyzed using a structured framework developed by the authors. Results: Among 202 nursing schools, 173 (85.6%) schools offer global health-related courses. Of these, 72 (35.6%) schools offer a 'Multiculturalism' course, and 42 (20.8%) schools offer a 'Global Nursing' course. Fifty-nine schools (29.2%) offer both courses. Compared to the study findings in 2015, the number of global health-related courses and the percentage of global health-related courses designated as a requirement dramatically increased. An additional analysis of five syllabi of global-health related courses found several differences in the courses' aims, contents and evaluation methods. Conclusions: Due to social and political changes, nursing schools are more likely to offer global health curricula. However, there is still a lack of consensus on the core contents and approaches of such curricula, necessitating systematic discussions about the core contents and effective learning methods to increase nursing student competency in global health nursing.

Objectives: According to the 10th revision of the International Classification of Diseases, the main categories of tic disorders (F95.0, F95.1, and F95.2) follow a diagnostic hierarchy based on the duration and diversity of tic symptoms. The present study investigated the use of this diagnostic hierarchy in real-world clinical practice. Methods: Based on the National Health Insurance Service-National Health Information Database, the diagnosis of transient tic disorder (F95.0) made after a diagnosis of chronic motor or vocal tic disorder (F95.1) or Tourette's syndrome (F95.2) and diagnosis of chronic motor or vocal tic disorder (F95.1) made after a diagnosis of Tourette's syndrome (F95.2) were referred to as type A errors. The diagnosis of transient tic disorder (F95.0) repeated after a period of >12 months was referred to as type B error. Demographic and clinical differences according to the diagnostic error types were analyzed using analysis of variance, Student's t-tests, and chi-squared tests. Results: Most participants (96.5%) were without errors in the diagnosis of tic disorders. Higher proportions of males (p=0.005) and antipsychotic prescriptions (p<0.001) were observed in patients with type A or B diagnostic errors. A higher proportion of health insurance holders was observed among those with type A errors (p=0.027). Conclusion: Errors were absent in majority of the tic diagnoses in real-world clinical practice in terms of the diagnostic hierarchy.
The current society characterized by knowledge-based information technology and multiculturalism put more emphasis on problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and communication skills than any other periods did. In response to the demand of the current times, multidisciplinary, or convergence courses and majors are being created and conducted in college education, yet, with the lack of specific teaching and learning model for the convergence courses. In this context, this study aimed to examine PBL as an instructional model for the convergent approaches in classroom, since PBL has been regarded as a model for fostering the 21st century learning capabilities for student coupled with the learning principles of authentic tasks, learner-centeredness, collaborative learning. This study, after conducted a PBL course for the general art education during the summer semester of 2014, analyzed the result using data collected from students' reflective journals, in-depth interviews, and SNS posts among the students. The result presented students' enhanced self-respect, increased interest in their learning and communication skills, and their recognition of the value on diversity and empathetic attitudes toward each others. In conclusion, PBL showed its potential as an alternative instructional model for the multidisciplinary and convergent learning in college education.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in beginning science teachers' inquiry-oriented teaching practice through mentoring program. Participants in this study are three mentor teachers and three beginning teachers. The three beginning teachers are middle school science teachers who have less than four years teaching experience. Also three science teachers participated in the program as mentors, who have more than twelve years teaching experience. We collected data such as video recordings of beginning teachers' classes, lesson plans, recordings of one to one mentoring and RTOP class observation reports. Mentor teachers observed and analyzed five classes of each beginning teacher. Before the mentoring program, beginning teachers' teaching methods were more concept-oriented and teacheroriented. They rarely used inquiry-elements including prediction, reasoning, hypothesizing and students were not actively engaged in communicative interactions in a classroom. But during the mentoring program, these teachers recognized and responded to student diversity and encouraged all students to participate in science learning. Beginning teachers' teaching methods have changed to become student-oriented, teachers and students collaborated in pursuit of ideas, and students often initiated new activities relevant to an inquiry. As a result, this mentoring program provided beginning teachers the opportunities to reflect on their own teaching and reform their classes. The results show that school-centered mentoring program is helpful to enhance beginning science teachers' inquiry-oriented teaching ability.
The purpose of this study is to analyze some problems of general high school and provide some promotion ways of general high school in Gyeongsangbuk-do in long and short term perspective, considering necessity for consolidating educational capacity of general high school which is in disadvantage due to high school diversity and special high school promotion policy. For this, first, the study explores educational policy basis of Park Geun-hye's government, educational policy direction of Gyeongsangbuk-do, educational situation of general high school in Gyeongbuk area, and main contents of educational capacity consolidation way of general high school. Main tasks of Gyeongsangbuk-do general high school educational capacity reconsideration based on the educational capacity consolidation way of Ministry of Education are (1) enlargement of autonomy for formation and operation of focused curriculum by guidance, (2) enlargement of guidance and vocational education for general high school student, (3) consolidation of support program for student at risk, and (4) consolidation of support for general high school High-up program. For these main tasks are fixed and operated in school successfully, the fixation of school responsible management system based on geological environment and trait of each general high school, the application of whole quality control in school management, and the formation of cooperative school organizational culture should be constructed. And specific practice tasks and strategies for Gyeongsangbuk-do general high school educational capacity reconsideration (the cultivation of grobal democratic citizen, human being image in 2009 revised curriculum, and 'talented people with new thinking and genuine mind' of Gyeongsangbuk-do) are provided.

This study explores the possibility of automated scoring for scientific graph answers by designing an automated scoring model using convolutional neural networks and applying it to students' kinematics graph answers. The researchers prepared 2,200 answers, which were divided into 2,000 training data and 200 validation data. Additionally, 202 student answers were divided into 100 training data and 102 test data. First, in the process of designing an automated scoring model and validating its performance, the automated scoring model was optimized for graph image classification using the answer dataset prepared by the researchers. Next, the automated scoring model was trained using various types of training datasets, and it was used to score the student test dataset. The performance of the automated scoring model has been improved as the amount of training data increased in amount and diversity. Finally, compared to human scoring, the accuracy was 97.06%, the kappa coefficient was 0.957, and the weighted kappa coefficient was 0.968. On the other hand, in the case of answer types that were not included in the training data, the s coring was almos t identical among human s corers however, the automated scoring model performed inaccurately.

This study used Chinese female college students as subjects to classify the components of the Korean national image as well as understand the recognition difference of country image factors and Korean fashion images; in addition, it examined the differences of the effect of Korean national image factors on the Korean fashion attitudes of Chinese female college students. A SPSS 18.0 statistic program with factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, paired t-test, multiple regression analysis, frequency analysis and ${\chi}^2$-test was used. The results are: First, it was shown that there are six factors: culture-society, economy, products, sports, politics, and technology. Second, the recognition difference on the six factors were significantly higher for products, politics, technology, economy, culture-society, and sports, respectively. Third, the difference of Korean fashion images showed that they recognize design uniqueness and diversity to choose styles preferentially. Fourth, the purchase intention was significant in the order of culture-society, products, politics, and sports, and recognition affects culture-society, sports, and products, respectively. Fifth, they prefer THE E-LAND GROUP, Beaucre Merchandising, and The Basic House the most and show a strong purchase intention. The analysis also showed that other various brands that are also recognized. These study results can provide Korean fashion companies with useful implications for marketing.
